That is right if you do not close your position you are not in profit or loss. Thinking long term investment in crypto is a good idea but the same time waiting till infinity is not good. BTC went to nearly $20000 from $1000 but few people did not book the profit then it again came back to $3300. When there is bull run most of the investors become greedy.There should a proper plan for any investment I believe. If someone invested in BTC at $5000, he should book some profit at one level say $10000 and let the rest run will SL at BE. Such plan can fetch good profit to any investor instead of waiting for a long long time w/o knowing the point of exit.

As the thread starter said, wait for 26 July 2019. Current govt is focusing on digital India and doing many things to go digital everywhere but it does not mean govt should legalize cryptocurrency in one go. As per the draft India govt will not allow use of private crypto currencies but the same it will launch its own digital coin. Reserve bank of India along with one leading bank are on the way to build their own blockchain. India is highly populated country and terrorist from across the border and within India always try to collect funds from various sources and cryptocurrencies being decentralize in nature it may be good way to collect money for them, this may be the reason to take Indian govt such step, lets wait for the final bill, I hope India govt will surely do some research and will understand the power of blockchain technology.

Do not get greedy and do not get afraid of taking a loss. 6. If you miss 1 opportunity, wait for the 2nd one, do not catch the running train. If you have chosen any project to wear signature, let it run, keep your signatures till the bounty campaigns ends. Do not waste your work done by shifting to new signature campaign, this is what I have experienced while doing bounties. I never left any signature campaign in between and shifted to other project but many times this thought came into my mind, as you said no project is predictable the same thing made me to remain with the current campaign although many projects turned scams later. This is all our destiny, I search the project well before joining signature campaign but still sometimes I get into wrong project.

The main reason behind unsuccessful trading is Trading w/o any plan. If a plan is made before taking a trade chances of getting higher success rate becomes brighter.
Planning of a trade includes:
1. Check the higher trend, where is it heading to.
2. Check the middle trend.
3. Now come to lower TF to decide your entry point, there should be not resistance/support where you are taking a trade, wait for the right setup.
4. Where is your exit point, if trade goes in your favor where would you like to exit and where is your SL in case trade goes against you, that should be pre decided.
If one follows such simple rules, chances of success get higher.

I am seeing btc can dump to as low as $7700 level. I think it is not the end of BTC bull run but as BTC dominance so high and alts bleeding from January against BTC i think it is time now for some alts to recover.
XRP went down from 10000 sat to as low as 2800 sat. My bet goes to XRP this time and i think can recover to 4500 - 6000 sat area.
I agreed and I am also holding some XRP as its undervalued as of now. As some member here in this thread and as well on this forum are advising not to go for XRP due to its centralize nature but I think its good for some short term investment, even long term profit cannot be ruled out. If XRP is adopted by bigger banks for international transactions then its value may rise like anything. Banking systems are yet to adopt blockchain technologies, once banking systems around the world realize the power of blockchain, coins like XRP will shoot to moon. |

Bitcoin is a highly volatile digital currency, one can earn good amount in a short time by investing in BTC and at the same time a dd in the account may occur. Many people who invested in late 2017 earned good profit out of BTC and I have seen many project failing which bought BTC when it was trading at $19000. BTC gave them huge loss. Day trader should learn the BTC movement first and invest their amount with proper money management. Its good if someone invests in BTC for a long time.

The projects which keep on blaming bounty hunters for anything happening to price of their coin are those who run ICOs w/o any knowledge. They just mismanage their project and start blaming bounty hunters as its easy to do it. If I go back to late 2017, many coins that were sold by bounty hunters early rose like anything within couple of days. It depends upon the overall sentiments of the market. If there is any project with good background its coin shall surely rise in a short or after sometime.Projects should concentrate on their product instead of blaming bounty hunters.

I am in the same boat.XRP value may increase in a short time, there is no decrease in value & volume of XRP trading, still its in top 5 places. BTC and ETH have good growth in bull market but due their high coin values its a bit difficult for anyone to take decision on XRP or XLm investment. I must say keep holding your coins, good time is there on the calendar, do not worry you will get desired value of your coins. |

This is the basic principle of any investment. "Invest only the amount you can afford to lose" If someone invests more than his risk appetite then he is gambling, he may get good profit or may lose all he has. Greed and fear are two biggest enemies of an investor and trader if one conrols both he can make good investment decisions.
Regarding bounty projects, I remember early 2017 when I was doing so many bounty projects seeking a little income from it and suddenly in late 2017 I had more earnings in bounties than my regular salary. Its a matter of market sentiments. If you chose a good project it will pay you good amount now or later its exchange price may not be good at this point of time but if project is good its coin price with surely increase with bull run.

Listing of coin on an exchange is not enough to get its price appreciation. A strong product with strong marketing is always needed. Bounty campaigns are the best marketing strategies for all the projects as they are paying through their projects tokens instead of any fiat or known crypto currency. Bounty hunters have higher reach than any other media. Bounty hunters can explain the project well everywhere, this the reason some projects which are listed on exchanges but their product is still under development are conducting bounty campaigns.

The war is ongoing between crypto believer and non believer. Most of the banks, Govts in the world are against cryptocurrencies but the common users are with it buying and selling cryptos daily. BTC,ETH and BNB I find all these 3 coins hot to invest currently, if its a bit long term investment ,90% chances are there that one will not lose his/her money, rest its upto the investors to invest in any potential coin but before investing one should carefully research the coin to be invested in. If we come to new launched coins, ,I have 2 choices to recommend, Hubrisone and BCNEX. I am associated with both these projects as bounty hunter, I find both these projects as good and are handled by dedicated teams. I hope both these projects will do good in near future.

I do not think only Bitcoin will be in Bull run, even altcoins will increase but we need to wait. I think there new investors are very less in crypto market today and those who have invested are having funds mainly in BTC, once the selling of Bitcoin starts that money will be put into altcoins and altcoins will start moving.This is my personal opinion. I am holding various altcoins in a hope of appreciation of their price and that is something not odd everyone should wait for it, selling any altcoin at current price is not worth anything.

You are not screwed if you purchased BTC below $7550, you have earned the profit instead of losing your money, do not get greedy. Greed and fears are two most common enemies of a trader. detecting top and bottom of any cryptocurrency is difficult. Just be satisfied that you have earned some profit,try to find other opportunities of entering the trade in this bull run of BTC instead of regretting your exit at $7550. Market is always there, even if BTC reaches at $50000, you will find the opportunities to enter the the trade, try to learn it do not regret. |

I am trading from many years using technical analysis but technical analysis only is not enough , I am lacking something in my analysis and not having confidence in taking trades only based on technical analysis, I did ask many traders they say lot of factors like psychology, crowd behaviour , market sentiments , any experienced traders here know some other factors please mention , and if of you know books where I can learn those please mention book name thanks
Technical analysis alone can not help you trading but it can help you in covering 75% path to success. All other things like sentiments, crowd behavior comes with an experience. Even technical analysis can better be applied with experience only. Reading books and stuff over internet can give you basic idea but reading market behavior before triggering a trade will come from experience only. First try to learn the basic of technical analysis and try it implementing to daily trading on small or demo account, note the market behavior and try reading it, learn about trend, retracement, support, resistance, success will follow you one day. |

Market teaches you something new everyday. If you have lost $2000 in trading, it must have bought you experience which will help you in becoming a successful trader. I lost many bucks in trading earlier, even in 2018 I lost around $8K when BTC crashed and luckily I purchased Pundix which almost recovered my loss, instead of selling PundiX there at that point I holded most of the coins resulting loss again. This is the rule of market sometimes you win sometimes you lose but how to cut your losses short and how to exit your profit trade that is an art which one can master from experience only. Basic trading principles are same, if you can trade stocks successfully, you will trade crypto with success as well.

BNB is already on bull run, I see ETH as another good choice to invest, very soon ETH should reach $600-$700. Other good altcoins which I find good opportunity to invest are Tron, Eidoo and a newly launched ICO Hubrisone. Hubrisone project is very new and its coin HBRS is trading at very low price, its main product is about to be launched in next 15-20 days, from the demo product seems solid, I believe price of this coin will appreciate one the main product is available with complete feature but one should also calculate the risk into investing in a new coin.

I am trading forex for last 8 years still I am struggling to get desired profit. After 8 years of experience in forex trading I am able to make profit and protect my account but still I need to be more confident inorder to make it my full time profession. Quitting trading will not bring you anything rather continuing it can make you money. Do not remain dependent on trading for your living till you get good success in it. Here are some tips which needs to be followed in trading: 1. Do not trade against trend, go to higher TF and check where is it trending, try to identify level and trade accordingly.eg try to identify buying opportunities for bitcoin in this trend instead of selling it. 2. Put a strict SL in every trading. 3. Do not get greedy, exit the trade as per plan. 4. Do not take higher risk in any trade, only risk the amount which you can afford to lose. |
