202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 10, 2018, 07:20:09 PM
By my opinion, neither is enough safe. Hackers are always looking for their chance, always developing new skills, getting new ideas. Even if we are extra careful it doesn't mean that we are not going to be scammed. But all people should know that they should never fall on that free holiday etc sh.. frauds
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much the power of news can affect the Bitcoin price? on: September 09, 2018, 11:56:43 PM
The power of news is effecting almost everything for so long already. It is logical that it could effect on bitcoin down or rise trend because people are getting informed and act; selling their coins, not buying at first place, have negative thoughts about this crypto, not believe in it, companies are not willing to have anything with it because of potential lose of funds etc.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: September 09, 2018, 11:47:33 PM
As older we become it's harder to embrace and learn new things, especially from technological area. It is logical and people will decide to just pass by, not to spend any energy on something that is so 'complicated' to understand.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: September 09, 2018, 11:21:37 PM
Today it is not that simple to buy 'full' bitcoin, 6+k is big amount. However, value dropped from 20 thousand and from that point of view, price is much lower and opportunity for earning increased. I do believe that there are people that find this as a good chance to invest.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: September 09, 2018, 11:06:05 PM
A very few vere interested, majority just didn't care about crypto currency. And there are some that really could benefit out of the crypto world, especially my friends that love to gamble. And dose few that are interested are now more dedicated than I am.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even the Politicians have secret investment in Bitcoin on: September 09, 2018, 10:14:16 PM
I didn't have a chance to read anywhere about that but I am pretty sure that some politicians have investments in bitcoin. And why wouldn't they... Politicians are usually people with cash, surrounded with consultants and whether somebody imply to them to invest or they did it buy their own choice, it is always a good, even great decision to invest in something that can bring more on their personal account. And investment in bitcoin surely can do that.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Signs and Symptoms That You’re Suffering From Bitcoin Addiction on: September 09, 2018, 09:49:16 PM
I do have tab reserved for coinmarketcap but everything else is something that I was doing in the past. I am not in that mood anymore, I am doing all the things that are mentioned but not that passionately. Just in level of regular daily routine.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Newbies panic & Old timers smile, when the Bitcoin price take a dip. on: September 08, 2018, 09:34:22 PM
Well, I don't know if 2017 will repeat again and that kind of price  increase. It was so fast, so unreal and people that collected Bitcoin or altcoins really had made serious profit. I do believe that value of all the coins could rise even higher but not on the same tempo. Will have to pass more time and waiting is dangerous enemy, people are holding but nothing special is happening. I support your idea but bounty and signature camping participants can earn some coins, exchange for fiat and add some cash into the monthly budget. There are places, states, counties where a hundred or two hundred dollars could mean a lot and people have daily expenses. For those with deeper pockets, buying on dip, selling on spike is great tactic.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 08, 2018, 06:51:00 PM
Whether it's difficult or not difficult to understand, every person need to have wish to understand the theme. When I was a school boy, things that I didn't have no interest for I never could and never wanted to understand. It is the same thing in life. Those who want they will hear you, those who don't, don't even try to hard with them. It's waste of time.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 thing you have to check before Investing in ICO company. on: September 08, 2018, 06:04:19 PM
I think once you're done looking into these you should then go on to investigate the following to really cement your choice.

1. Does the team have an excellent track record of raising capital and bringing complex products to market?
2. How realistic is the road map? Are the funds they are looking to raise sufficient to bring it to life?
3. Who are their partners, check the partners website to see if they really are partnered, or if their partners are just a paid PR firm.
I was researching, better said getting known with some of the icos in December of 2017 and I noticed that there are some projects that have big companies as their partners. I think that I saw that one of those have Microsoft for their partners(I think that it was Stellar). That was pretty convincing for me. I don't think that they would lie about such a thing. I suppose that such a great name as their partner should be a guarantee for that project. So I agree on point no.3
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: September 07, 2018, 07:35:01 PM
I don't regret it because I didn't have much to sell in that moment, although I did sell some of my coins three months before the pick, but not big amount of it.
I do believe in ATH, that's why I am holding some amount of coins on long term saving. I don't have a clue when that might happen but I do believe that it will.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or not? on: September 07, 2018, 07:15:41 PM
In trading you are buying and selling. In the moment that this post was created, value of all the coins was much higher and as I understood you are willing to wait for price to grow up on satisfying level so you could regain your investment. Since the price of the coins didn't hit the point that they had on January of this year, it means that you are still holding yours. And there it is. You are holding, not trading.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: September 06, 2018, 11:11:40 PM
Off course that not all going to survive. Those who have good purpose, usable and useful ones definitely have present and the future. For example, every protocol has it own special purpose(bitcoin as some sort of substitute for traditional currency, Zcash should be anonymous bitcoin, siacoin as a cloud storage platform, ethereum as an open platform for building and deploying decentralized applications etc..)
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: September 06, 2018, 10:12:53 PM
Social media is a good source for learning on how to use strategies and at what time. Just keep in mind that many traders offer their advice for a particular situation in a particular time.
You should design your own tactics, at your own pace. There is no guarantee that everything you see in these guides will work out for you the same way it did for posters. Keep learning, trade, and draw your own conclusions.
https://www.cryptocointrade.com
Basically we all have different life energy. Social media as a source for learning can give lots of good, useful tips but as you said, not every advice or strategy will work same for calm and nervous person(for example). There has to be correction and adjusting to a character of an individual, in order to find a winning method.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year? on: September 02, 2018, 11:49:06 PM
I am skeptical about that scenario. 30 thousand is way ahead than where we are right now. Things finally moved a bit, Bitcoin broke that 6 +thousand price, went to 7+ but still, 30k is  very optimistic.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Worst Case Scenario for Bitcoin? on: September 02, 2018, 11:42:24 PM
For more it definitely would be. Imagine how many long, short term holders would lose. Complete disaster. But others will see a chance to buy, invest, because the price is so low and it will increase soon in the future.
For me it wouldn't be disaster, I believe in benefit of the technology behind it.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 02, 2018, 11:35:13 PM
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.

It will not happened even for a decade. Don't worry.

Most people here just expecting too much without looking at the reality and the massive effect of it.

Crypto will grow more but fiat will still be there.

This will take a long discussion so I will leave a simple statement first.
Exactly. Even for a decade, I would add even for a century won't happen. And the reason for that is applied up, world will have to look much different than now, to be completely globally connected so that crypto could even have a chance to replace fiat.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: September 02, 2018, 11:01:20 PM
Existence of fiat currency is still unquestionable. Crypto currency have everything that is needed to replace fiat in the future. Banks and governments don't care if it will be fiat or crypto, they will benefit out of whatever it is.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make people accept bitcoins as a currency? on: September 02, 2018, 10:32:44 PM
Yes, like that expression, 'guns don't kill people, people are killing people', we can use it for lots of things in the world and it also can be applied on Bitcoin too. We can not do much about that issue, maybe we could affect on it on small local level but people that have been tricked once is hard to change their opinion. Those who didn't have negative experience with Bitcoin have to research good  everything that they want to know and that will lower chances of scams or similar unpleasant things.
