......"I will be adjusting the prices downwards shortly to reflect the recent rise in BTC value. This will apply to new orders, not orders already placed. "......

Barntech

Any chance there will be consideration for those who sent their funds early, largely on faith?. Arguably, we've taken much of the risk for new orderers.  Wink
203  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 19, 2013, 03:57:28 PM
Hi all - I've been in contact with the factory early this morning.  They are making 1000's of boards and shipping in earnest next week.  We will be *very* busy building, testing and shipping rigs to you.  Please don't knock me for not camping on the forum thread for the next two weeks.  I'll do my best.

Don't expect half-price H-boards or rigs to appear on the store any time soon.  Tytus and I are not believers in the endless-doubling of difficulty theory promoted by sites like TGB.  We'll mine our own equipment before we fire sale hardware.

I am making USB miners, which should show up before the end of the month.

Regards,
Dave

Where can order the USB miners? Do you mean they will show as available on the megabigpower site,
or that they can be ordered now and show up in my mailbox before the end of the month?

Uh Oh Wal's back. Hopefully Chod will show too.
I'm gonna retreat to the newb department before I get thrown out of here Wink

Thanks and OK. Time goes backwards the further up I look.
I don't see any real difference between now and then so I presume there's nothing to be gained here. All steady ahead. If I see an obvious skew in one of his charts, I'll take notice and ask again. Then again, maybe the acute observer finds insight in what common folk can't perceive.
206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: October 13, 2013, 09:19:34 PM
ChartBuddy sure is persistent. Could someone with time on their hands start a thread for beginners on how to read these things?
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: October 13, 2013, 08:39:14 PM
No choice. Fiat at Gox.
As soon as I sense my target might be reached, I'll probably cancel, put in an overnight bid at 122, and get some sleep. That's what I've been doing and one day I'll wake up happy Smiley
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: October 13, 2013, 08:13:50 PM
I have to laugh at myself. I'm trying to go all in right now with gox at .1btc below market, just enough to cover the trading fee. I'm the one sitting there at 144.9 and nobody gives a hoot. .1 is insignificant I suppose and I could just buy at market but don't you think somebody would drop a few cents/coin just to get out? Shows me how insignificant I am in the scheme of things Wink
209  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.5.1 on: October 12, 2013, 09:18:34 PM
3.1.1 needs the USB to UART driver in addition to Zadig (winUSB).

You can't have both, even though I do. Each is resident but you have to choose one or the other.
From my view, If devices and printers shows com numbers for all be's, then you have silabs in charge.
If all be's are present with no com numbers, WinUSB is in charge.
Neither selection is working for me.

You only need to run Zadig to install the WinUSB driver once.  On reboot they should come up to WinUSB every time. If you need to use a different driver you can run Zadig again and select a different driver.

Holy Moly, I was good until now. What does it  mean 'if I need to select a different driver'? I have a choice?
I'm windows 7. I need WinUSB. Hopefully you're referring to drivers for linux et al.

'Usually you remove all of your BE's but one, have Zadig install the WinUSB driver for it and then add your remaining BE's and they should all default the the WinUSB driver after that.'

I haven't tried that but will. Probably be tomorrow till I report again.
If it works, what should I expect if I need to restart, will I have to do the one at a time thing every time?
212  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.5.1 on: October 12, 2013, 06:24:02 PM
mdude77 says "Zadig is needed for 3.1.1.  It will prevent 3.5.0 from working.  Depending on your hardware, you may be able to run 3.5.0 w/o zadig.  Some hardware just isn't recognized by cgminer (I'm about 50/50 with my hardware).

Also, I tried 3.5.0 briefly and ran into errors (didn't have a chance to look closer).  Using 3.4.2 or 3.4.3 right now w/o zadig."

Using without Zadig?
How can this be?
213  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.5.1 on: October 12, 2013, 05:51:22 PM
I reread the ASIC miner read me. Other than the 'might need to unplug everything', I've done the hot plug thing on pre 3.5.1 and at least got some action, but couldn't get more than maybe 22 BE's to be recognized as AMU's and that was just luck or coincidence.
Then it was  back to Icarus can't detect, or Ztex can't detect..
Now someone above is saying zadig will keep 3.5.0 from working.
I'm on windows 7 and with all these usb's attached, I cant restart windows without dealing with the restart windows normally thing and only then by unplugging the usb's. After a few restarts, I get my monitor back.
This used to be a pleasant challange Smiley

I'm embarrassed to admit, my 63 block erupters run on bfg without problem.
I don't want to use bfg because I'm loyal to CGMINER, it supported my gpu's for as long as I used them.
And I always smile seeing 'only ignoring Luke Jr.' I've yet to figure that relationship , other than that he thieved and forked CGMINER, there's seems a sort of mutual respect there. 'Icarus can't detect. Need to install Winusb'. Done it, restarted, done every variation. CGMINER not friendly to BE's.

"the yield is still the proof of work"

A major wake up for me.  I don't have to solve anything. Whether 1 or 63, I'm rewarded for the effort to send the correct answer even if I don't and never do. I'm paid for effort, not results. Honestly, I thought I had to solve something Embarrassed
216  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Do multiple Block Erupters behave as a whole or as individuals? on: October 01, 2013, 11:03:08 PM
Thanks balanghai,
To better help me understand; if you were me, would you set your pool share diff to 1 or 16 ? Smiley
217  Bitcoin / Mining support / Do multiple Block Erupters behave as a whole or as individuals? on: October 01, 2013, 10:26:05 PM
My 63 Block Erupters are hashing away merrily on one machine with one bfgminer.
I'm  playing around with pool share difficulties looking for significant 24 hour differences.
Do I  have 63 335Mh miners or one 20Gh miner.  I imagine the answer is both but how do these individuals work in unison on the same problem at the same time?   Huh

Hey MK4Y,
Thanks for your help. Turns out I have the settings you recommend.
Today while ATK and mining presumably some other coin, I'm now submitting 100Khs more than Cgminer claims I generate.
Probably depends on the coin. I'll either figure it out or forget about it... whichever pays better Smiley
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: September 17, 2013, 10:13:07 AM
Cgminer says my 7970 is hashing at 540-550Mhs yet the pool reports around 440Mhs. Any ideas on where that 100Mhs might be hiding?  Huh
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 07, 2013, 10:38:30 PM
I tried twice to register at CoinMKT using two different everyday email addresses and it said that each was already in use by someone. Huh
