201  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: April 05, 2024, 03:23:00 PM
There are some raffles and giveaways from MetaWin on X /Twitter.

A latest one ended hours ago.

There are others for ETH on Base so make sure you follow MetaWin on X/ Twitter, @Meta_Winners.

I’m always joining on this raffles including the paid one that requires purchasing ticket since I was inspired before that user won the jackpot prize despite he only purchase few tickets while there’s a lot of users purchased more tickets than him.

Also the partial refund on all the tickets purchased is the best feature of Metwin raffle. I’m not expecting to win on this raffle because many users usually join with more ticket but trying it in daily basis using few bucks is not bad.

Do you send entry already?
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 05, 2024, 03:18:05 PM
Or am I wrong? I need to know if this advice is a good one or a bad one, I gave him this advice because we are very close and also because I will do the same thing if I am in his shoe, this is the best thing i can think of right now.

Advising about financial decisions while you are not a financial manager or anything related to finances job is always a bad idea. You have nothing to gain if he becomes successful aside from thank you while you will be blamed for the rest of your life by your friend if ever he suffer a huge loss after following your financial advice.

Bitcoin investment is a very good choice but you can’t assure that your friend will not invest on crazy stuff on crypto after buying Bitcoin because he will surely explore including the scam aspect of crypto because that’s the place which the profit is quick and high as promised to newbs.

In short, Don’t do it. Let him be interested and crypto on his own without inviting him to invest.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Betting Tips Heading into the 2024 Postseason on: April 04, 2024, 04:55:36 PM
The NBA Playoffs favor home teams
Easy enough, right? Not so easy when a home team offers a -10 to -12 spread against a fellow playoff team. There will be many games this NBA Playoffs where we want to take the points on a road dog.

Although road dogs can cover and sometimes even win outright, the truth is that in most cases, home squads in the NBA postseason have massive edges. Home teams cover and win much more in the NBA than they do in almost any other sport.

Home team usually cover a spread of -12 on first round of playoffs except on team place @4th and 5th place because they usually have a close points spread. Only few home teams show an upset result to lower seed team on playoffs on first round because most of the time home team usually amassed a huge score using the home court advantage.

During the first round of playoffs, It’s a safe bet to put your money on ML rather than risk on huge spread because it can give you an almost guaranteed profit instead of risking for more gains for an extra risk.

I just increase my bet size a little bit to have a better profit on small odds instead of chasing that huge spread to cover.

..

What a sad reality.

205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What makes a post to be quality? on: April 04, 2024, 04:01:38 PM

What makes a post to be quality? Good English language or the content of the post?.
And if good English, well written in good sentences defines a post to be quality is it that Non English speakers are not qualify to be in this forum or to discuss in general boards because they are only good in speaking broken English which is a borrowed language.

Good English language can be solved easily through the use of grammar and spelling tools like grammarly and other app that help improves sentence construction.

The content of the most matter because even if the post has a perfect english while the content is garbage then it’s still a garbage no matter how elegant the post construction is. It’s reading an AI post without a thought of a real human. Even with a broken english while the thought is gold then it can be considered as quality post as long as it’s understandable and doesn’t cause an eye bleeding to read.  Cheesy
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle emotions when you lose during trading. on: April 04, 2024, 03:11:52 PM
Take a break should be the number 1 rule here! I usually uninstall all my trading app when I suffer a bad trade and continue on the other day once I already get over on my losses. It’s very hard to formulate another entry for trade without considering your emotion for your trade just to recover your losses.

I like the avoid leverage suggestion because this is the typical path of loser trader to get higher capital as substitution to their lose funds so that they can gain quicker for recovery. Exchange intentionally provide a higher a leverage option to take advantage on newbie traders and losers to use it and loss all their funds through liquidation.

Lastly, if you are always losing in trading then maybe it’s time to quit and focus on job that gives you fix profit or simply just hold for long term.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos (2) on: April 04, 2024, 03:01:33 PM
It's just mostly about (Hash-Dice Game)

There is nothing you can find on there, just the result dice roll-up and then the result is show up. It's really boring, and there the service are running on there sometimes a little bit shady (not quite recommended) to play with a big money (for a few cent, feel free to tried).

However, we don't really recommended playing on telegram dice service + even a famous casino has no interest creating a version of their service using telegram.

They are now categorizing telegram games those casino that opens through the telegram app mini browser. I saw some casino that you can access via telegram account and app alone without the need to use a browser.

But the original telegram games is like what you described. It’s just some casino claimed that they are already a “telegram casino” just because their casino can be accessed via telegram app and account.

@OP, just use the regular casino. Less complicated and licensed.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your latest big win from gambling? on: April 03, 2024, 10:37:00 AM
What was your latest big win from gambling? How do you feel after your latest big win?  is

My latest big win is just 300$ because I only have a bankroll of 100$ when gambling while I only on games that gives x2 of my bet or less. There’s no way for me to win a massive amount now that I stop playing slot games.

Quote
$16700 last week and I have lost half of my latest big win cause most times I do chase my loss unconsciously. I really want to know how you do feel after your latest big win. Do you increase your betting stake with mindset( if I lose it’s not my hard earned money) or will you maintain your staking status quo?

This is the typical scenario of gamblers that winning huge amount. They are becoming careless on bet because they think that they have a lot of extra money that can afford to lose. Your latest big amount is pretty massive. How much bankroll do you use and how do you manage to win that amount?
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: April 02, 2024, 04:31:21 PM
Only last 6 slots are left for chance to win $50 USD bonus code without any wagering requirements from BC.game! If you have earned 500+ merits, you can take two slots (only one slot if you haven't). Grab your slot now so that IP can start picking the bitcoin block to begin the raffle. I thought this raffle will only fullfil within 24hrs. Lol Join now here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5490378.0;all

I want to participate but I can’t access Bc.game for a long time probably due to country restrictions. I have an account before on this casino but now I can’t access it anymore for unknown reason since last year.

If only the rewards can be converted to cash prize without the need go in the casino. There’s less than 50 user active on game and rounds section of the gambling board. The 100 slot is only filled because other user from collectible section join on it probably due to the influence of the OP.

211  Economy / Gambling discussion / How many times all-in save your bankroll? on: April 02, 2024, 03:21:53 PM
I knew that most of us here experienced doing an all-in bet whenever when we are already down significantly amount of our bankroll and already get tired to slowly earn back your losses.

I’ve done this several times and I manage to save my bankroll to profit/breakeven greater than suffering a total loss. I usually use the craps or mines to do the all-in bet to have a potential profit greater than x2 while I have more lifeline for my bet rather than a straight bet with x2 multiplier.

What game is your favorite to do this and what’s your record so far if you can still track it?

213  Other / Off-topic / Re: Noticing sign of gambling addiction before it gets worst on: March 31, 2024, 05:28:52 PM
So I'm thinking before you become involved in frequent gambling behaviour what is the sign that you notice that you are doing when you gamble?

I doubt most gamblers will be able to determine or notice any signs of becoming addicted to gambling. It's just a simple going in with the flow of their desire. The moment they realize that something unusual is now happening to them, they are already addicted to gambling.

Fortunately, not all gamblers who are gambling enthusiasts are ended up as a fucked up person.

Some gamblers are still responsible for their life even addicted to gambling. It clearly shows that gambling should not be blamed on why there are unfortunate gamblers but on the person themselves as they allowed it to happen.

This is correct interpretation for addiction. You will never know when it will hits you because your mind is like being drugged to do the things more that gives you satisfaction which in this case gambling.

I once on the brink of being addicted but luckily I have a wake call earlier after realizing that I’m playing already over budget for my gambling. This happened to me when I was sick when gambling and encounter a initial chasing loss disaster but luckily I manage to recover all my loses and that is the time when I wake up to reality because greediness to gain my losses back makes me addicted to play more.

I knew this is not the case for everyone but it’s really hard to snap on addiction unless there’s something that will trigger you to stop.

Is the design is customizable? I like how lively your original games design compared to the typical house game that I play on a casino. Also what is the validity of your support service to your customers once they avail your product?

Lastly, Are you open to referral commission to someone that will help you to find a potential client? My country has a lot of aspiring online gambling owner. I’m interested to offer this product of yours to our local gambler streamers since some of them is interested to have their own for their followers to play.
215  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: March 31, 2024, 03:07:57 PM

My luck came back after several years, my last time winning the Forum Giveaway was years ago.
Keep trying is worth enough since we do not need to do many things except posting our username in the forum every Saturday.

What forum is this? I’m sure this is not from Bitcointalk because I don’t see Stake giveaways on our game and rounds board. This is a very huge amount as a reward for a simple posting of username every week without any other requirements.

Your rewards is even higher on prediction thread here in the forum. Congratulations.

Anyway, I'm shocked to see the number of online users during the last weekend stream was more than 50k users.
I'm not following the chat much but I think the last number of online users that I noticed was around 25k few months ago and now it is doubled already.  Shocked

Many people already interested on giveaway these days. Even on our local country gambling streamer can get more than a 100K live viewers even though the rewards for watching livestream is peanut compared to Stake giveaway.
216  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 31, 2024, 12:36:56 PM
With the world that is moving online now, eventually in the future more people will be focus on online gambling but you can't compare the experience when you are gambling to a physical casino becasue you'll certainly have the best experience if you came to enjoy. Let's use Vegas for example, personally, I haven't been there and it was my ultimate to be their but I would not compare the online gambling experience than going to vegas as it's not only gambling that we can do in Vegas, a lot of things like getting drunk and other fun stuff, you can't do that with online gambling, unless you enjoy being alone doing those things which not my cup of tea.

Aside from the good stuff in the casino that is not related to gambling like you mention such as food and different amenities the gambling experience on their games is just the same if we are just talking about the game and not the physical ambience. Slot games on physical casino is worst because they have very low RTP and low max win compared to online slot games.

Also the VIP benefits of online casino makes them much better than the physical casino that doesn’t reward anything. Gaming wise, online casino is the best but physical casino will win for a total satisfaction for a casino entertainment due to its amenities.
217  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: March 31, 2024, 11:03:53 AM
Guys! Shuffle has an Easter Egg hunt event in which they drop off code randomly every 8hrs to all their social media account including the telegram account.

They frequently rewarding 2$ and more by claiming the code on your Shuffle account. It only requires to have a 2K wager in the last 7 days in able to be eligible. I just recently claim the code from telegram so it’s still working.

Easter egg code: HAPPYEASTER-2
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethena Airdrop on: March 31, 2024, 10:22:40 AM
Yes you are right. Probably most tokens got listed on launchpool do a solid move but what do you think the potential of ena in terms of its current valuation. The supply is quite huge and their intitial circulation will be 1.4B at current price of 0.7 their estimate markercap valuation is at 1b. Do you think this could do another 3x or 5x marketcap? Plus all supply will be coming from airdrop and launchpool there is a 2.5% probably liquidty.

Is this token already traded on DEX? How can you determine the current price because there’s no info about exchange for this token.

I farm this token on Binance Launchpool yesterday. I think I’m already late but still it’s a sweet profit if ever that 0.7$ is the current price since I already accumulate more than 100ENA tokens  using all my FDUSD savings. I don’t have any idea how huge this project is but I’m confident that mining it will payoff.

What’s the best way to farm it aside from Binance pool? I’m currently loaded with Stablecoins from my crypto savings since last 3 years.
219  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: March 30, 2024, 04:57:57 PM

Although, it shouldn't truly matter, right? Because even if the probability was 50/50 for the user, the casino pays slightly less than 50/50 of the total winnings for the user. Plus there are fees that also go to the casino per dice throw, which if a user played more volume, it would definitely make the casino happier, then they could distribute the airdrop to their most loyal users, who would also be happy to be incentivized to play more volume.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If it’s really a 50/50 chance then it means the dice game has no house edge and the payment should be exactly x2 of the bet. Most of the dice game has a default x2 payout for a 49.5% chance of winning percentage. It’s dishonesty if they will claim that the winning percentage is exactly 50% and the payout is x2 while they deduct a certain amount even if it’s minimal on the payout amount.

You are pertaining to the house edge for those minimal amount being deducted when you bet on a 50 % winning chance rate because they only offer payout of x2 minus the house edge they set for their games which on this example dice game.

But if the dice game's probability can be truly 50/50, but the payment if you win is worth less than 50/50, then the casino maintains the house edge. Do you understand? For example if you win, you will receive a win of $49.00 from a bet of $50.00, but if the casino wins, it will receive $50.00 from $50.00. Plus you pay for the fees. For the casino it will be always 50/50, but for the user it will be less than 50/50.

I get your point mate and I’m not trying to argue on my statement. Simply I’m just telling that casino shouldn’t give a 50% winning chance rate for a payout of x2 if they will still deduct the house edge on the total payout. They should just put the payout on slightly lower than x2 to show the house edge easily. But never mind, I might just complicating things and literally look to your example.

Quote
It's a small edge, but the casino doesn't think short term. It thinks mathematically long term. They know that because of those probabilities, they will always win.

And yes to this, I just explain that those minimal fees are the rakeback on my previous post. In the end, those small rakeback will surely make them on the positive side since players always keep coming back for more.  Smiley
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing poker online better than offline? on: March 30, 2024, 03:10:00 PM
So I imagine, and often play poker online, I am very happy if I get a good card and I can't hide it well so just go all in all my chips.

If you bet all in every time you get some nice cards you are easy to read. It's foolish to talk about what can happen on the poker table without knowing many factors (number of players, their bankrolls, type of the game, etc), but generally going all in with good cards can easily backfire on you. Poker requires patience, watching other players, and whenever you have good cards to try to get them into play...

I'm more into online poker, but I have been playing very rarely in the past years. Somehow crypto poker places don't catch my interest... I guess I will be more active when some interesting poker places come up.

I play a lot on Pokerstar poker app on playstar and I encounter a lot of players that always playing all-in whether good or bad cards because they are relying solely on the flop, turn and river card to be in their way. They have nothing to lose since chips in there are cheap and free. They can always buy in when they bust.

This is what I hate in online poker because players are unpredictable. After all, they always think that they can always play again using their reserve money. I still don't play on real online poker tables but my experience with free poker games makes me discouraged from playing with real money.
