201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: July 17, 2017, 12:15:02 AM
Hi,

Even just a year ago bitcoin was useable... now the fees are about 10x what the banks charge. Seems like its changing from a peer-to-peer money system for everyone into yet another convenient way for rich people to exchange funds!

What went wrong> And more to the point, who is responsible? What can be done to fix it?
Thanks
Andy
Yes, as you say. Now when using bitcoin we need a big charge. This is detrimental to us.Perhaps bitcoin seems to have become the currency exclusively for the rich.
well you may be right but still there are many opportunities to earn or buy bitcoins. Firstly you can earn bitcoins through advertising and marketing for those investors who provide a fair share, secondly you can work for wages and get bitcoins instead of cash. A little time ago there were same opportunities for both but its economy which is fully dependent on money.

I don't know why you guys are saying that bitcoin is for rich? It is so ridiculous, I'm not a rich person, yet here I am in this forum and earning bitcoin, the real thing is bitcoin is for those people who are dedicated and who are not that narrow minded to try the things that they thought was just for the rich person. Bitcoin is the one that could make us rich, and there is no such thing like Bitcoin is for the rich people only.

What we should do is to spend some time on earning bitcoin in this forum or on whatsoever way we wanted to do to earn bitcoin, of course we need an investment here, but not all of the investment is all about money, we just need to invest some of our time here to earn bitcoin, for example is joining the Signature Campaign to earn bitcoin weekly or monthly, and that's it. We could save our earnings and only spend some of our bitcoin on the things that we know that bitcoin is worth to spend with, and not to those things that we only want, but for the things that we really do need.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: July 09, 2017, 03:20:41 AM
It is hard to make a gambling site this way, there is a big chance that you are going to be bankrupted because of this idea, if you do really want to make a gambling site then you don't have to be fair at all the time, because you need to make a huge bankroll everyday, for what? well of course to maintain the needs in your gambling site, for example is having maintenances every week to avoid bugs and so on, and obviously you are going to pay a professional to do it.

And it is going to be a big money that you are going to need on this one, so make sure that you are ready to make one, because having your own gambling site is not a joke. Spending most of your time managing it to avoid this bankruptcy is a little bit hard for a single person, unless you have someone in your side which you could trust on handling this other than yourself.

If I were you, I'd rather use the money in Trading where I could be sure that I will really going to get some profits in return in the long run, gambling is so risky, but it depends if you really want to do it.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: July 09, 2017, 03:08:14 AM
It is a sin when we lost our money and it isn't when we won huge amount of money from gambling....jk. To be honest, most people around me said that gambling is indeed a sin but unfortunately, I don't care! As long as I can enjoy it.

It is sin if you are going to lose the money which is not yours, let's say that you spent your money for the tuition in your school, of course you are doomed when this thing happen because you are going to be scolded by your parents doing such thing over studying and so on, but still, gambling is a sin, a very big sin to GOD, it is written on the Holy Bible, but if you are not a religious person, then I guess that you are just going to say that gambling is not a sin as long as you are not messing with other people lives.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can bitcoin be used for regular transactions.. on: July 09, 2017, 02:59:57 AM
It will take a very long time before this thing happen. The Government should approve bitcoin first as a global currency that we could all use in any transaction that we are going to have in our everyday lives, if we want to buy something then we could pay it using bitcoin or either fiat, depends on us. But first, let us wish first that the Bitcoin ETF would be approved by the SEC the second time we are going to propose it to them.

In this way, we could make a stepping stone for the bitcoin to be declared as a global currency for us to be able to use it on any thing in this world.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 09, 2017, 02:24:36 AM
Not for me, for us, bitcoin is the best online payment system and also source of income. Some websites offering free bitcoins, but be careful and make complete research on free bitcoins. In market, there are a variety of ways to earn bitcoins.

I used to have bitcoin for payments, but these days with high fees it's better to have/use bitcoin for speculation. I hope the time will come again where the fees are normal and transactions are faster without paying jackpot.

The normal fees won't ever come back, because bitcoin is changing, it is increasing all the time and it will continue on rising above the ground as long as the day is passing by, because of the people who are interested in bitcoin, the bitcoin demand is increasing causing the fees and other stuffs on bitcoin increase also, it is just being fair with the demand, it is normal.

If you don't want to think about this high transaction fee, then start to make your earnings bigger than the usual so this transaction fee would just be like a simple "coins" to you and not the "paper" money.
206  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 09, 2017, 02:09:25 AM
Interesting! Well for me, it's a yes
It will be a great wedding gift that can help them financially and can help them understand what bitcoin is
It's a good investment and it would be a big help for the future, we didn't know what will be the value of bitcoin in the near future.

Since my girlfriend also know about bitcoin and how to do bitcoin, then I guess bitcoin would be a great present in our wedding, I would secretly send a message to her that she should open her wallet before our wedding, I bet she would be surprise and glad at the same time. In fact, it is also true that bitcoin might be more valuable than it is right now, I mean its price would be more high than we ever expected.

Bitcoin as a gift is just being practical with your partner, relationship is not all about love, sometimes you need to be practical too in your life with her, because making your own family is not that easy if you are not financially stable.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: July 09, 2017, 01:54:44 AM
Bitcoin can be source of income with consideration, if from our activities in it provide better than having a boss. I am have proven, bitcoin can meet the cost my life and family. Bitcoin into a new tap for me.

Earning money through bitcoin is mostly bigger than what you could earn on a normal job, that is why it would be better if you are going to quit your job if this is the situation you are in, instead on focusing on your job why not spend all of your time on bitcoin so that you could earn more bigger out of it. Time is gold, that is why we have to think of the things that we really wanted to do in life before it is too late.

Working to earn money is the most common scenario nowadays, but the truth is we have to learn how money will work for us, for example is Investing our money into bitcoin and make profits in the long run, or do Trading, which also have the same benefits to us(depends on the Coins that you have though).
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 28, 2017, 01:21:37 PM
Many criminals are using bitcoin such as legalizing crime

Maybe? But even though they are not a criminal, but they are using bitcoin in the illegal deeds then they are criminals. This problem is one of the reason why the Government in some countries are limiting the usage of bitcoin or even more worst, they banned it. Most of the people are buying illegal drugs online, having this anonymity is giving them the guts to buy such things.

As a solution on this, since the Government can't easily annihilate all of the illegal sites which do sell this kind of stuffs, that is why they came up banning of bitcoin.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: June 28, 2017, 04:32:07 AM
If I decided to save bitcoins in bank, how will deposit rate be changed compared to dollar or other currencies? Will it have much lower percent?

Your question is pretty confusing since there are currently no bitcoin banks that are available to deposit money in, maybe you may be talking about online wallets?
There is really no interest you can get from banks, but if you hold bitcoin for a couple of years it will most likely rise in value since bitcoin usually rises in value over time.

It is very a confusing one, lol. @vaxo_nba, there is no bank that is accepting bitcoin because since bitcoin is decentralized and they can't even touch it, maybe that is why bank don't have an interest on bitcoin itself. But I know that in the near future there will be banks that will accepts bitcoin, even though, I will still use the hardware wallets to save my bitcoin and so that I know that my bitcoin is in the safe place.
210  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: June 28, 2017, 04:13:26 AM
Which one suits you the most?

I'm using the web wallets way back then but my friend told me about that web wallets are not that safe compare to the hardware wallets, that is why I'm now using Trezor wallet, it is expensive but it's worth it. It is not that easy to earn bitcoin and it's price is not a joke, that is why we have to be careful on where we are going to store it, because the hackers are just out there waiting for the opportunity to steal our money.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: June 28, 2017, 02:54:15 AM
Being rich won't make you happy, but on the other hand it won't make you sad either Grin

Indeed, being rich is just one of the reason why a person should be happy, this happiness is just for temporary and of course this wealth also, this will fade if the judgment day comes, when GOD will going to end this cruel world. But I'm not saying that it is bad to be a rich person, what I'm saying is that we should not put all of our attention on it, GOD should be our first priority.

Though it is true that bitcoin is the ticket for our success, because if we are holding our bitcoin and going to save it for the future then it is expected to happen that we are going to be rich.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 23, 2017, 06:25:32 AM
Because cash is better than bitcoin because cash can be anytime we use offline and transfer invidu, and cash cas fixed on our fiat value and not too worried when compared with bitcoin
Yes, still money is better than bitcoin because we can buy any thing any where and any time with money . but this is also a fact that bit coin is making progress rapidly and bitcoin increase its value very very high in a few year s and it will take no long time when every thing will be reachable with bitcoin .

I don't think so, bitcoin is way more better than this fiat thingy, we could see their differences of their potential on their prices, Fiat do have a fixed price, well not that fixed but their prices difference do have a big gap. Bitcoin's price is volatile that is why its price is always fluctuating, it started to a lower price then its price right now is skyrocketing and I know that it will increase more and more everyday.

213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2017, 07:21:37 AM
Holding my bitcoin is the only thing that I'm doing right now, because I know that I could make a lot of profits out of it in the long run. I'm also converting some of my bitcoin if the price is rising and skyrocketing, in this way I could feel the profits that I'm having in holding my bitcoins. But there are some people who are spending their bitcoin on all the things that they are buying in their everyday lives, which is very immature for me. It is like throwing away the profits and the benefits that we could get on bitcoin in the long term investment of it by holding it for years or for lifetime.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wtf? Blockchain transaction fees is outrageous!!! on: June 21, 2017, 06:22:34 AM
omg!!

blockchain transaction fees killed my entire 2 days earnings on bitcoin 40$

i never know and wanna try exodus wallet so i transfered frm blockchain to exodus 40$ and they cut 16$ as transaction fees.

HOLY MOM!! Wth is this fees???

anyone experience the same...

I think $16 is a little bit overboard, maybe you have just mistype the transaction fee that you are putting in the transaction fee option.  The biggest transaction fee that I'm using right now every time that I'm transferring my bitcoin to another wallet is just 0.002 bitcoin(I'm using Electrum wallet anyways), the transaction fee is too big for me but its worth it since my bitcoin is safe there.

I'm not worrying about it that it could be hack by someone, because it could only hack if they are going to do it personally on me, and not by the use of the internet.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: June 21, 2017, 05:53:18 AM

How do you currently store your coins

The best way to store your crypto is in a hardware wallet. I really recommend the Trezor, I recently got one and the peace of mind it brings is worth every satoshi I paid for it.

You bet, because this is a very safe place where we could store our bitcoin without worrying of it being hack. Hardware wallet is a little bit expensive but it is worth it, hardware wallet is too hard to hack unlike those web wallets out there which is very vulnerable. Blockchain have lost $400 million worth of bitcoin way back 2015(correct me if I'm wrong) because someone hack it, but the hacker was caught by the authority.

But since this hardware wallet is a little expensive that is why people are still using this web wallets because this is just for free, the only thing that they are going to pay is the transaction fee of it.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 20, 2017, 05:02:18 AM
We actually need more articles like this so that people would support bitcoin more for its usage as currency rather than solely an investment instrument. We always read about how the price has went up over the years, but news of wider adoption as currency has taken a backseat. It is good that Japan and Korea are warming up on bitcoin and more shops are starting to accept bitcoin as direct payment.

Most of the people are thinking that bitcoin is just for this "Investment" thingy that is needed to buy first, but they never know that they could earn it. Typical people are like this, they only know one thing, and they are narrow minded for the other things, and nowadays people are just ignoring bitcoin over fiat because they thought bitcoin was just a scam.

And having this encouraging articles will help to promote and spread the news about bitcoin.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: June 20, 2017, 04:31:05 AM
For me my bitcoin stored in my wallet but sometimes i trade it to collect a big amount of bitcoin. Most of the time i exchange it to a real currency specially if the bitcoin value is high.

Of course we are storing on our wallet because there are no storage for bitcoin except to the web wallets and hardware wallets. But I prefer to store it on the hardware wallet because it is more safe than the web wallets. Web wallets are too vulnerable for me, too easy to penetrate for hackers, so having this hardware wallet gives me assurance and safety, I'm not saying that it couldn't be hack, what I'm saying is it is too hard to hack.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: June 08, 2017, 01:25:41 PM
Actually to gamble or to invest is a risks but in gamble your chance of winning is a little because you might end up lose or win. So I prefer to invest like in trading Ill be the one holding my money just buy for those altcoins which is promising hold and sell when the price looks profitable.

But the risk in Trading could be as big like in gambling, because if you are not that good on trading, and you are just going to buy random Altcoins, since you don't know if the Altcoin that you bought is promising or what. It is all about prediction, or analyzing its price history and about that Altcoin. Trading is a good way where we could earn a lot of bitcoin if we are going to focus on it.

Still, we have to consider the fact that our bitcoin is at risk, because we are not going to be successful without taking any risk, for us to know what will happen, then we have to take the risk and whatever the result may be, we have to take it as a lesson.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 08, 2017, 12:32:56 PM
Well im not using big fees at all, all my transactions has been made with 50-65k satoshis those are taking a few more hours then the usual time when there werent the delays at the blockchain, since im not in rush to get and make the transactions i can wait, but doesnt make sense to pay a premium fee to make my transactions.

It is the second to the highest of the transaction fee if I'm not wrong, because the transaction fee is depends on the wallet that you are using. I'm using Electrum wallet and the transaction fee that I'm paying is 0.002 if I'm not wrong, and if you are paying high amount of transaction fee, then expect that you are going to have fast transaction, that is why I'd prefer to pay high than the other way around just to have convenient transaction.

220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 03, 2017, 05:36:17 PM
because you can make a lot of money out of it

How come, if we are always losing? the only one's who are earning a large of profit in gambling is those people who are lucky on gambling every time. It is addicting because we are always losing, we are being provoke by that, that is why we are not quitting gambling.
