Here's a message about Bitcoin on their official site! https://www.foodler.com/user/Bitcoin.do

I can't find foodler on Wikipedia but I did find that the internet archive has caches of www.foodler.com

Note: Mhmm, you could format the article so it conforms to bitcointalk standards, but your decision it is Cheesy
203  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] CoinMap - Map showing places where Bitcoin is accepted on: April 16, 2013, 01:02:30 PM
For shops that say it clearly "we don't have an office and we only allow online purchases" well then it may not really fit into a physical location since it gives no real value to anyone.

Guys, please don't try to come up with your own rules. OpenStreetMap already has its vision and purpose. For businesses that do their stuff in the virtual world there are lots of other listings. Let's keep CoinMap for the real ones - that you can really visit ...
There are no "new rules". Only "Map the world". Also a common rule on OSM is less talking and more mapping!  Grin

It says the service is free so what can you pay for?

Donations, right?  Smiley
205  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-04-15: Fox Business: Bitcon Crash Coming? Jeff Berwick Interview on: April 16, 2013, 08:06:09 AM
Jeff Berwick simply rulez.  Grin
PJ(I don't got a better word for it atm)

03:43 PJ "The first time where you actually take my money off me, is that correct?"
03:47 Jeff  "...or give you a federal reserve notes from your Bitcoin account, we do both raze[sryhelpme]"
03:51 PJ "You do? A federal reserve note from my Bitcoin account?"
03:55 Jeff "Yeah."
03:56 PJ "Whats that mean? Dollar bill?"
heat
03:58 Jeff "If you look at Switzerland[sryhelpme] you might also notice"
heat
04:02 PJ "Wait a second, wait a second, so I put a dollar bill into your atm and I get a dollar bill back?"[LOL]
04:08 Jeff "No no, you put fiat currencies in, dollars, and it goes into your BTC account or if you have a Bitcoin account that has currency in it you can take, dollars, out of your Bitcoin account.
04:18 PJ "Alright, ok, so that's a conversion factor, introducing it in Southern California"

206  Economy / Services / Re: Proxy to order Dominos Pizza with BTC on: April 15, 2013, 04:59:29 PM
Nice, add Europe. Cheesy

That might take a bit of research  Tongue
Is there Dominos over there?
Depends on which part of Europe we mean...
I would love for pizzaforcoins.com to support Sweden(then I can brag about being able to use my BTC for food  Grin). We don't have any Domino's and neither Papa John's(?) but we do seem to have loads of Pizza Huts: http://www.pizzahut.se/restauranger/
207  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] CoinMap - Map showing places where Bitcoin is accepted on: April 15, 2013, 04:40:41 PM
What do you think?

I don't think that OpenStreetMap is a good place to store information about web merchants, because their field of activity is global rather then local.
Well, if they got an office somewhere tag them, and if they accept Bitcoin, tag them as payment:bitcoin=yes and if they don't take Bitcoin up front at their office then tag with note:payment:bitcoin="payment only accepted online" Cheesy

There are solutions for everything!

210  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-04-12 Roger Ver Rocks on FoxBusiness!! on: April 13, 2013, 10:28:30 PM
You all make it sound like this is some sort of game of who will come first to the finish line.

Roger and the other two presented their views, opinions and they respected each others opinions. I was glad that Roger was so calm without being agitated or anything, so he's good for PR.
211  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-04-11 Bloomberg - Bitcoin Value Plunges: Is the Online Currency Safe? on: April 12, 2013, 06:24:13 AM
Can I who live in Europe buy pizza from pizzaforcoins? Also it's not practical with the skyrocket fees to buy anything from bitcoinstore so my chances of buying anything with Bitcoin are pretty slim..

Yeah still I can buy domain names from Namecheap, I can buy from wordpress although I don't need their services...
though 9flats seems interesting.

Bitcoin can't progress and do world-domination from day 1. We take it in steps...
Otherwise tell me where do I buy my food with Bitcoin in Sweden?
212  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-04-11 Bloomberg - Vessenes Discusses Bitcoin Trading on: April 11, 2013, 09:59:26 PM
Peter? Thought he did very well in that interview, he was pulling no punches with the comebacks too Smiley
Is the person talking at 04:16 Peter Vessenes? Googling him doesn't show up any photo.

No, that's Michael McKee, a bloomberg "analyst". Indeed he doesn't know what he's talking about, and Peter did well answering him.
I said 04:16 for a reason. Anyway, I got my answers so thank you.

linky for those able to access iPlayer:

Those who are able to watch iPlayer are probably those who have installed Google Chrome on their Ubuntus, cause it got built-in adobe flash player.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cause of the crash - was it bitcoinbillionaire? on: April 11, 2013, 08:16:32 AM
Could it be worth somebody's time and money to do something "weird", as they are a fan of Bitcoin and want it to succeed, to "invest" in its stability?

Also you decide yourself if you wanna call this a "crash" or a "market correction". Me personally since I'm usually a person who brags my views I'll happily go for the latter Cheesy

bitcoinbillionaire is Satoshi Nakamoto. (joke)

Thx to all contributing factors for this market correction. Finally I can buy some Steam games, if Valve can see that this is a serious and stable currency.
220  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-04-10 Great, now engineers think that they are economists too on: April 10, 2013, 09:03:45 PM
The problem is that economists and journalists think that they are engineers, or at least that when they report about Bitcoin that they can ignore the Bitcoin technology part. That is what spreads the Bitcoin myths. Damn, now I managed to offend half of Bitcoins community.

Only spend an amount in Bitcoin that you can afford to lose says Gavin Andresen! = Pocket money!
