201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is this gift right? Send 0.5 ETH = 1ETH on: December 28, 2019, 01:36:03 AM
can someone check this site? about the 2x fold prize of ETH.
if someone sends 0.5 ETH to their address & will get a bonus 2x = 1 ETH

https://mixineth.com/

2x bonus will be sent to the address that you entered or that you want from ETH.
Are gifts like this true?

EDIT:

If it is plain double your ETH, that is certainly a lure or a bait to a likely scam. If there are certain terms and conditions and other complicated rules to make sure everything is sustainable and that the profit will not be taken from other new members, there is a possibility that it may be true. But from the information that you presented, I would conclude that it is a scam. Stay away from it.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: December 27, 2019, 04:32:47 AM
It seems the project is addressing the concern. We do not have to shout scam immediately only because withdrawals are not successful. There are so many possible reasons why withdrawals are not successfully transacted. For now, the team is active enough to address everything. Give them some time and wait for the result. We can only consider this scam when they leave all these concerns behind without lifting a finger.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet is best for ERC20 tokens? on: December 27, 2019, 04:05:16 AM
It is good if it is web based, i.e. similar to blockchain.com. Otherwise, installation makes it machine dependent. Its not a BIG sum. So, high security is not a priority. Ease of use is what I am looking for. Needs to work with all kind of ERC20.

Also, please let me know, How is MetaMask as an ERC20 wallet?

Blockchain.com is a pretty nice wallet but since you need a wallet that works with all kind of ERC20 coins then I guess blockchain.com is not the best option. Others are already suggesting myetherwallet.com. That is also what I suggest. It caters all ERC20 coins. That makes your plan served well. Metamask is another one which is safe and will also cater to ERC20 coins.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanges provide legit trading volume data? on: December 27, 2019, 03:41:16 AM
Since I use volume profile indicator for trading I wonder how do I know which exchanges are known to provide true volume data and have considerable history.

I think there is no tool to know whether a volume of an exchange is totally real or fake. But I guess most exchanges have a hybrid mixture of fake and real volumes. Some have larger fake volumes than the real ones while a handful have larger real ones than fake ones. If you want, choose the exchanges that are popularly accepted by the majority such as Binance. The volume there is mostly real.

binance was a big exchange so the high volume that we saw on this exchange are more likely to be legit  while other unpopular exchange that shows some massive amount of volume could be fake  .

It does not mean that the volume is legit because it is coming from a big exchange. Even in Binance, there is a portion in their volume that is not legit. There is no single crypto exchange with a one hundred percent legit volume. A portion of all crypto exchange volumes goes to bots and fake traders of coins to make sure their coins are moving.

Quote
there are also tools that we can use to see the volumes of an exchange and most of those tools were already proposed above    . some examples would be cmc and coingecko   .  cmc is the ones that people use the most for this matter while coingecko works fine also

CMC and coingecko data are not legit and clean.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sharing My Personal Trades on: December 26, 2019, 03:29:14 AM
Hello everyone. For those who don't know; I manage a community with over 4000+ Crypto Traders all over the world.
In this thread, I will share our personal entries & exits of each trade.

Oh, that's a very huge community of international crypto traders. How do you do that? The information you are giving is just like a tiny drop that makes little sense to us right now. Where do you guys communicate and share analysis and signals? I am also curious how it started growing that big.

Will wait for your trade entries and exists here.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: December 26, 2019, 03:07:05 AM
Which point of view are you looking at it? If you look at stop loss as a mechanism to save you from bigger losses, then it is indeed a life saver. One the other hand, if you look at stop loss as way to fail gaining or taking profit then it is a bitter tool that you should do away from. Having said it, stop loss is not to blame. It is just a tool or a mechanism. The market is totally independent of it. You analyze the market well and stop loss is going to be your friend. You fail it and stop loss is an enemy.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Authorities Confiscating miners on: December 26, 2019, 02:45:06 AM
If you are doing all your mining stuff legally then I don't see any problem with it. You are not facing any risk of getting your mining stuff confiscated. But if you are mining while cheating or even stealing electricity then expect the government to run after you and confiscate your stuff. That is just as simple as that.

In terms of staking, I am in favor of it compared to mining.

You don't even need to steal electricity or use it illegally for them to confiscate and ban your mining business, it is as easy as not complying with the papers needed for your business to operate that will trigger them to have reason to confiscate and to stop you. Remember, government have a deeper reason why some instances like this is happening, they don't want cryptocurrency right from the start so it will be easy for them to pass regulation that when we just fail to comply even with simple terms then we are getting compromised.

That is also one way to stop the operation of your crypto mining. But it is very possible that some crypto miners, especially those small-time ones who only have a few rigs and do not operate mining farms, are hiding their operation from the government. They can easily conceal their rising electric consumption with other legal and registered business operations. But once they are caught, they don't have any defense to that.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is This a Scam? on: December 26, 2019, 02:24:51 AM
What exactly makes this project a scam or a ponzi? That it generates a dividend of 1% in 24 hours?

Read the White Paper and you'll see why it's possible.

Yes, you will recoup your investment in a 100 days. Is that a bad thing?

Could you please expound more on this offer? I won't read the whitepaper as I am not interested to participate in it. You are very familiar with the whitepaper I assume. So perhaps you could spare us a few lines explaining the overall design of this 1% in 24 hours profit. That's double your investment in 100 days.

210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons for traders to look at! on: December 25, 2019, 04:55:34 AM
When we talk about trading whether it’s Forex or Crypto, there are some very common reasons why people tend to struggle.

So that’s take a quick look at what those reasons could possibly be at https://www.qatarday.com/blog/information/4-reasons-why-youre-not-making-money-with-your-forex-trades/69233

Although, this is not going to turn you into a professional overnight, but strictly following these are ways you could begin the long journey to the destination you want to reach.

It is hard or even impossible to become a professional trader without an actual mentor or formal training. You cannot learn everything all by yourself. I tried learning crypto trading alone and I failed. I even failed countless of times after I had a few trader friends to compare my analysis with. In sum, my trading experience was not fun but interesting. If one has the perseverance and determination, he should be undergoing a formal trading or mentoring to succeed.

1% in 24 hours? Sounds too good to be true.

I didn't proceed going into the link. Your very short description of the offer is enough for me to jump into conclusion that it is probably a ponzi type of scam.

If something or someone offers a 1% return of investment in just 24 hours then that is like offering a double your investment in 100 days. That is incredibly unbelievable therefore a ponzi if it pays or another type of scam if it does not. Either way, avoid it.

214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Authorities Confiscating miners on: December 25, 2019, 03:37:57 AM
Chinese authorities have seized nearly 7000 crypto mining machines that are illegally consuming electric power, really hope this won't affect bitcoin in any way? And why are people doing this? Prove of staking is a better option and no one will ever know you are mining anything, i am not saying POW miners are bad but illegally? Come on! It's not worth taking such risk when they know they can be caught, they can earn same profits from Staking

Full news is right here

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the low to buy more Litecoins on: December 24, 2019, 03:32:18 AM
Litecoin dipped under $40 a few days ago, I am looking for prices under $30 to buy more.  I could buy maybe a couple hundred LTC, depending on the price.

The way the line moves right now I guess you will not be able to buy more LTC in the next days. LTC is in red just like BTC and many altcoins but it is already moving up. Sooner this red will be gone. LTC at $40 is already cheap. You can either take this price as a good bargain opportunity or risk not buying at that cheap price at all and wait for the price to go down less than $30. Which for me is not probably happening.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: LOOKING FOR DEV on: December 24, 2019, 03:10:21 AM
Hi, im looking for Developer who can create blockchain explorer, web wallet and android wallet.

This is not the right place for this kind of thread.

I think you can move this yourself to this board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0.

That is the Marketplace (Altcoins) board where topics just like this one could be posted.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Bounty project Day by day incresase? on: December 24, 2019, 02:50:56 AM

I've noticed that crypto projects are increasing day by day? Is it true?

It is not true at all. In fact the number of crypto projects are not growing; they are moving to the opposite direction. The number of crypto projects are decreasing. The reason for this is the widespread failure of crypto projects. Many have come before them and most of them failed. This is the reason why the number of rising new crypto projects are now fewer compared to a few years ago.

220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto community predictions on NewsCrypto.io on: December 23, 2019, 01:17:36 PM
I am not a user of NewsCrypto.io not only because I have not even heard of it here but also because I am not really interested with chart technical analysis. My experiences in following technical analysis coming from other people before are not good. I am not blaming them because I know how hard it is to create an accurate technical analysis. But that was enough for me not to trade based on them.
