You can also use reservebalance=99999999 in DigiCube.conf to run a node without staking or encrypting, as well (the network and I appreciate you running a node ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) This can be turned on and off in the debug window, too reservebalance true <amount> reservebalance false Replace <amount> with how much you want always available for sending Thanx Spots and Bones261 for the info... Much appreciated Spots suggestion trumps mine. That's why I deleted my comment. I see... I used the 'reservebalance=99999999' in DigiCube.conf as suggested by Spots and opened the wallet having this unlocked icon and message 'Wallet is encrypted and currently unlocked for block minting only'... I hope I did it right, I just want for the wallet to have its true stake reward percentage

I still confused about new mint reward system in wallet 1.6 ? if before 50k block I got reward in 5-6 day ~20 cube(from 100 coin) that now only 1cube ?
yep, spots made cube v1.6 a unique coin, tamagotchi-like, one should constantly nanny the wallet to keep block weights above the 2% threshold, and small blocks are practically useless (almost) soo my 7 k cubes is useless ? everyday i will get those 1 cube ? : D hahahaha Send all of your coins to yourself so they are all in one input. Lock your wallet for two days. Unlock your wallet after 2 days and wait for stake. Repeat and what happens after 2 days?, every time after I got reward, I merge coin block manual by sending to yourself. I have lot blocks at age 30 -40 day if I send yourself right now I lose coinday. If you have 7000 coins in one input, after 2 days the coin-days would be 14000, so more than enough to qualify for the 2000%/yr stake. You may have to sacrifice some of those coindays if they are less than 2% of the current block number. You could also lock your wallet and wait for the day when all of your inputs have a coinday greater than 2% of the block reward. Not sure how big your inputs are though. If they are only 1 coin, that would take over 3 decades for that input to get enough weight. You are better off saying fuck it and eating the loss one-time right now to combine them all at once. I see why you would want to hold on to all that coin age, but sometimes you gotta just say screw it. You should have combined them a few days before block 500k, but luckily it's still fairly early so competition for big blocks will still be pretty slim; not that big of a loss. Each minute you wait, however, is potential coin age that you won't accumulate, so I would do it as soon as possible Send all coins to yourself in one transaction and lock the wallet for like 3 days just to be on the safe side. When you unlock it, you should stake almost immediately for 5.5% x the days it was locked. If you keep it locked for three days, you will stake approximately 1155 coins with an input size of 7000 Newbie here... Does lock the wallet means encrypting it or just don't open the wallet?.. I just combined the cubes in another wallet, sent it to wallet 1.6 and will open the wallet again in 2 1/2 days prior my trip for days... Thanx in advance for the response

Here is the long-awaited update to DigiCube, which I am still labeling as a development release. This wallet is not yet perfect, but is a work in progress that I am only posting prematurely to get the chain moving again. I do not normally post something in this iteration before a final build, but it's been long enough and we need to get the blockchain moving again Upgrade ProcessThis is only a little more detailed than a standard fork. To update to DigiCube v1.6, please follow these instructions: 1) Close all DigiCube wallets that are running 2) Backup wallet.dat in as many places as you feel comfortable with 3) Delete all files in this data directory, but leave wallet.dat and DigiCube.conf here4) Download the Bootstrap for block 500k here: http://freestaking.com/downloads/wallet/DigiCube16-Bootstrap.zip5) Extract these two files to the same folder as in Step 3 6) REMOVE ALL NODES. Use these two, and only these two, nodes in DigiCube.conf, until more people have had time to update:
addnode=46.105.158.205 addnode=98.144.161.18
7) Ensure the only files in this folder are the two blk files from the bootstrap, DigiCube.conf, and wallet.dat ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Open DigiCube v1.6 and enjoy the new experience - Not following these instructions will result in an error when loading the wallet
NOTE: It is highly suggested to go to debug window and do 'repairwallet' without the 's to ensure all coins are displaying properly There is no loss between forks, but when wallet.dat is loading into a bootstrap it does not verify all blocks as thoroughly without a rescan Known IssuesPeriodic wallet crashes from the debug console window - Will fix later; priority is to get chain moving again ASAPInvalid Checkpoint Alert - This is expected and actually a good sign. It's showing the bad blocks are being invalidated properly Please report how the wallet performs. Yes, the landing page for web is loaded like crazy right now - This is to stress test wallets and see how much information they are able to process in that tab, they are not permanent
The most up to date information on the situation as a whole can now always be found in-wallet by using the 'On the Web' tab Wallet crashes have been fixed. New wallet is uploaded: http://freestaking.com/downloads/walletApologies, I am new with this kind of installation... Persistent runrecoveryexception fatal error 1) Close all DigiCube wallets that are running Ok... Done 2) Backup wallet.dat in as many places as you feel comfortable with Ok... Done 3) Delete all files in this data directory, but leave wallet.dat and DigiCube.conf here Where could I find or get DigiCube.conf? From Cube wallet 1.2 or 1.6? I only have the cube 1.2 application (no other files in the folder where it was extracted) when I extracted it before staking 4) Download the Bootstrap for block 500k here: http://freestaking.com/downloads/wallet/DigiCube16-Bootstrap.zip Ok... Done 5) Extract these two files to the same folder as in Step 3 6) REMOVE ALL NODES. Use these two, and only these two, nodes in DigiCube.conf, until more people have had time to update:
addnode=46.105.158.205 addnode=98.144.161.18
7) Ensure the only files in this folder are the two blk files from the bootstrap, DigiCube.conf, and wallet.dat ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Open DigiCube v1.6 and enjoy the new experience

I downloaded 1337 qt wallet v1.0.1.1-g-Z_A-beta for staking 1337...
I only got 1.4989274316 % after 24 hours (25208.8937433 divided by 1681795.4760318 x 100) and the staking time is extending (after indicating 5 hours then it will be extended to 6 hours after I logged in again)
What could be the problem?
You received 25k coins from staking 1681795 coin? Thats not 1.49%? more like 450% [/quote] Thanx for the reply... Don't know how the stake percentage is computed but the way I understand it, for this matter... (25,208.8937433 / 1,681,795.4760318) = 0.0149892743 x 100 = 1.4989274316 % Did I get it right? I haven't received my 2nd stake yet for 4 hours now after the 24 hour staking time... Current weight is 3096139 and network weight is 801268611 [/quote]

I thought the stake percentage would be 3+% per day... Also, the staking time is extending (after indicating 5 hours then it will be extended to 6 hours after I logged in again)
