So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
In BTC itself I'd say and if you don't want to leave the Crypto area: so in 'good' ALT (maybe some promising ICOs) because some good & legit ICOs did like 7x-10x (but don't forget to do your own due diligence exercise) |

A wave (ups and downs) is a fact of life....nothing (including BTC) can only go up forever....
But it's getting more attention and momentum (and of course good news), so even if a dump happens due to a correction/cash out for profit...., that'll be to give more power for the coming pump.

Even with a new ICO era (as you said); there will still be fake ICOs....It's all about one's own due diligence exercise to make sure they're investing in the right 'good' thing

With the $10K mark predicted to happen before the end of 2017 and apparently it could happen this week; the $25K mark could be easily achieved during the course of 2018 (not necessarily before its end)

2 things here:
1- Who are 'they'? Keep in mind that BTC idea (and the other Crypto Currencies as well) is all about decentralization, so there is no single authority behind it to issue something or to decide about a project/idea
2- There is currently the Crypto Debit Card option (whether Physical or Virtual) that you can load with any Crypto option and use directly, so you are actually spending from your Crypto holdings but in an 'indirect' way

Because they think it's wise to only follow the folks and the word of mouth without doing their own due diligence exercise for any ICO/Project! That's why many of them fail (and end up investing in the wrong ICOs)

Few times, I used BTC directly to pay for things
Most of the time; I am using it 'indirectly' through my Debit Cryto Card (that I load with BTC or other ALT and then be able to use it as any other card)

I always believe that BTC (and of course the 'good' Crypto ALT coins) will live hand-in-hand with FIAT
FIAT will never disappear, so banks won't either

ICO regulation isn't a bad thing....I won't say 'Good' unless it doesn't really mess with the 'centralization' concept.
Last thing any Crypto Enthusiast likes to see is a government that allows their citizens to invest in any ICO and even to adopt BTC and other Crypto Currencies but under the condition that every single activity, transaction or payment should first go through their system!....That will simply ruin everything

From a 'user' point of view, Waves GUI is awesome....I like the idea that it doesn't need someone to have programming/coding experience to be able to create a token & even launch an ICO for example....In addition to its built-in exchange, that really grants it a bright future. From an 'investor' point of view, I can see it gaining more and more attention & adoption, hence price increase but can't imagine it'll surpass Eth one day....For me; BTC is the king of the Crypto world, Eth is the Queen! |

Just wondering, who is accumulating Bitcoin via using it as a method of being paid, so instead of being paid in dollars or any other amount you ask client to pay you via Bitcoin especially merchants and freelancers. I think it is cool to be paid via Bitcoin because it appreciates so its like you can earn twice if you sell high.
Still working with my current employer on the process of getting our monthly payment/salary in BTC As we're an International company with 'virtual' existence all over the world, the wire transactions fees (& of course the delay in many cases) are really huge, that's why we're working to convert to Crypto (especially BTC) |
