201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] FidelityHouse - 🔥 Where your Content become Tokens 🔥 on: October 14, 2018, 10:50:46 PM
I understand that the creators of this project want to focus on protecting the intellectual property of users and give them the opportunity to generate content freely and without any restrictions, right?

In a sense, yes, in fact, as far as I understand, this is not a new project, it is a continuation of the idea that the creators have been developing for 7 years already.
Is it real? Wow, I didn't know about that. So now they decided to enter the blockchain market with a ready-made solution? But why did they need it? Have they not been successful all this time?

They have achieved tremendous success in Italy, and now they want to spread their ideas to the whole world, and the blockchain is the most suitable platform for this, which will allow them to realize their ideas.

Ok, it will change the media sphere, but how it will affect my personal money? Because you have sent no information about it
I supposed that you will understand that money will be paid for the content that will be created, the better content – the more money you will get!
Oh, now it is clear for me, may be there is some more information that I should know?
yeah, every single word is to the point in this video, you will understand and see the position of the team of developers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYU-seC-kek
Oh thanks, I will watch it with joy! Thank you one more time for your help. May I contact you if I have any further questions about the platform?
yeap, contact me at any time, I am always glad to help to participant of such a useful project

Hello, guys! I see that this thread is well-designed, but the concept of the platform is still greek for me and I ask you, those who already get on well with all information about project, to explain me what is this
Good day, I see that you are interested in this platform only because of beautiful pictures, it means that developers bet on right thing. This project will help you earn money for content you create
how did you send two messeges without 6 min prohibiton? Do you have a copper member account?
I don't know, it just happened, my computer lagged and then i see two messages sent. Well, you know sometimes something bad happens Smiley
Ok, lets skip it
I think that there is nothing bad to become interested in the project only because of eye-catching pictures on the thread. Hmm, how is that, how can I earn on this platform?
FidelityHouse.com aims at becoming one of the main high quality content aggregation platforms in the world, changing world’s media and making it more customized, personalized and highly social.

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know about my latest project. You can use it to transfer bitcoins to various addresses. The fees are really tiny and are a random percent between 0.001% and 1%. I have been testing this on testnet for a few weeks and is stable. In the coming weeks I'll be moving my own coins through it to make sure everything is peachy.

Suggestions/Questions are welcome ^_^

How is this different than a traditional mixing service? I just read the "How it works" page and nothing stood out. Why should people trust this site, especially with the promise of decentralized mixing (e.g. zerocoin) on the horizon?

The mixing services I found were either flagged as scams, or didn't seem to allow multiple addresses. Also the fees were much larger (ie 1.5% and up).

As for trust, why should I trust you? We can all come up with reasons not to trust each other. Sometime this week, SSL certs will be added to the site and the only way to access it would be through a SSL connection. While this isn't the silver bullet that will make people magically trust the site, I think that it helps. You can also trust this site because I have spent about a month on coding the site. I also have many more ideas for sites and services that I want to build that I will not do anything to make people distrust me or the services that I have worked hard on.

I'm curious about where you found the information about decentralized mixed. I have not been able to find any information on this.

Read this, just for starters:
http://spar.isi.jhu.edu/~mgreen/ZerocoinOakland.pdf

He's presenting at the Bitcoin 2013 Conference right now. There are other approaches to decentralized mixer that don't require anyone to trust some random poster on a forum with irreversible BTC transactions.

Yeah, after reading that pdf and some other information on zerocoin, I took it down. It was a good learning experience, but ultimately it's not worth keeping the site up seeing that something else is going to take it's place. Thanks for the link.

UPDATES

https://github.com/nbobtc/BitcoindBundle

  • Added doctrine entity BitcoinWallet
  • Added Wallet Manager
  • Updates to documentation and more code documentation

More work still needs to be done with this and I'll post an update again once there is more complete documentation and code examples. Feedback is welcome.

This is something that I'm working on right now. I've been developing an exchange for the past several months now and it's almost complete. Well, I say almost but there is still a lot of work to do on it.

I think it's a good idea.

I'm looking to have a logo created and a site redesigned for my next project. I'm willing to spend up to 8BTC. The site is very simple and I need a general template that I can just fill with copy. The other templates will will need to be custom. One will need to an order page, One will be a confirmation page, and the last will be a Payment page. If you are interested please make an offer in the thread or PM me.

217  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Thinking about my next bitcoin project on: March 24, 2013, 06:28:56 AM
Search around, it has been done before, and it failed. I think the reason they failed was it was too closely to kickstarter, I think if you built out the idea a bit more and some more features, instead of a direct copy.

Was just thinking about it, using sites like those as inspiration. This would be a fairly large project that would take me a while to do. I use be very active on prosper before they shut down lending money out because they don't have a license in my state. Cry

Thinking about prosper, the site could be set up so you loan BTC to the person or biz, would receive monthly income. I don't think this will work since the value of bitcoins is very volatile, I could be wrong though.

A bitcoin kickstarter would be pretty cool, but this idea needs to be really be fleshed out with a full list of features and functionality before I start work on it.

So I have an idea I would like to toss into the community to get a feel for what you guys think about it.

The idea is to setup a web site that would be similar to kickstarter, propsper, or some other crowd or micro funding web site. So what do you guys say? Should I start work on this?

Thanks

219  Bitcoin / Project Development / Mixing Service on: March 24, 2013, 03:17:34 AM
For the past few weeks I have been working on a mixing service and was thinking about getting some feedback from the community before I launch it within the coming weeks after testing is complete.

Here's a list of some of the features:

  • Fee is random between 0.001% and 1%
  • Can send out to multiple address, each with different amounts
  • Transactions information is only keep for the duration of the order, once complete, the details are deleted from the database

Something that I am considering adding is a status page for your order so you will be able to see what exactly the system is doing with it. Example, has the service received your funds? Has it paid out anything yet? Once complete, the page is no longer valid and would return a 404 error. Something you guys would like to have?

What else do you guys think would make a great mixing service?
220  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKeno.com on: February 19, 2013, 03:01:42 PM
I see no point in having a keno game if the expected rate of return is constant for every outcome.

really? Why not? The reason the players play with more numbers is to have a chance of winning more with the same bet value.

So if I pick 1 number, my expected return is 97.5%. If I pick say 4 numbers, each number has it's own expected return. So if I was to make everything have a constant expected return, what's the point in submitting a ticket with 1 number or 15?
