201  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 03, 2017, 07:29:00 AM
I try to do the sensible thing of saving it. It’s always nice to know that you will have something to get your money from when you’re broke. But sometimes you can’t resist temptation and try to use in unexpected circumstances. Sometimes I spend it on some things like food or clothes. I try not to splurge too much and only spend what I can afford to lose. I always try to spend on things with the least quantity that can be used in maximum capacity for a long while. Saving makes you rich. Tongue
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: August 03, 2017, 05:07:31 AM
It’s already been used and being used in criminal activities. With bitcoin, terrorists can buy weapons in the deep web and not be traced. Recently there’s a big crackdown on a big criminal case that have something to do with bitcoin. Apparently there’s a virtual Silk Road out there on the interweb wherein illegal drugs are traded, sold and bought, with some people using Bitcoin as payment. But take note that while Bitcoin is used by criminals, it is not its objective to support them
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: August 03, 2017, 04:36:51 AM
For me yes! but just for the sheer novelty of it. I would gamble for the sake of gambling. I always wanted to try gambling with high stakes just so I can flaunt that I have money to lose money and burn but that would be it. After that I will turn to a more profitable business that is not addicting and can possibly ruin my life. Because if I will still gamble even though money is not a problem, soon enough money will be problem. I will invest some of my money and build a business I can run.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: August 02, 2017, 11:04:47 AM
I have yet to do something embarrassing for me to be shameful about being a gambler. I do not borrow money to sustain my vice. I still have our furniture and appliances because I did not sneak them out to be sold just so I can gamble.  I’m not hurting anybody and not embarrassing anyone. I am not ashamed that gambling is one of my sources of income BUT I’m also not announcing it. I know it’s not conventional and not really a decent topic in polite company. So I don’t endorse it but if they do ask then I answer as politely and simple as possible.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: August 02, 2017, 09:52:04 AM
It can. It will cause some impact and will surely sway influence to the people. People will see this new alternative that is much better what the public and private sectors of money business can provide. They will see a system that is mostly free and will not likely rip them off so the government and private banks will have to compete with them. They will be forced to lower their fees and change their security to some extent to provide security to the people that people will be comfortable with. If ever Bitcoin may not improve the economy then it can surely influence it.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: August 02, 2017, 09:10:29 AM
My best investment strategy can be pretty much summed up in one sentence,” buy low then sell high.” It worked to some extent so I kind of stuck to it. But it’s not always successful. What worked to some extent is not always successful. Sticking out to only just one strategy is not going to cut it. Sometimes you need to use another strategy to stay afloat in the business. Because what worked for the first time will not always work every time. Any investment trends that will pop out now will not always be a trend. The business of investment is always changing and if we want to stay in it then we must change with it.

208  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2017, 10:04:56 AM
It’s easier for kids to grasp new ideas while their minds are still impressionable. So teaching kids about bitcoin can be easy. One could integrate Bitcoin in a kid’s daily life by talking about it and showing it how it works. Kids these days are tech-savvy, you can teach them how to buy something form the Internet by using a digital currency, and they will immediately understand. It’s important to also answer their questions and being patient about.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 28, 2017, 09:36:00 AM
Best way for a steady income? Don’t rely on one source. If Bitcoin is you main source then you should have a few other sources as well. Find something that relates to Bitcoin or the Internet and it will be easier finding money. It can be online advertising, a little bit of gambling, blogging and the likes. If you already have a steady source of income, hold onto it because not everything is permanent and with one snap everything can change.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: July 28, 2017, 08:33:19 AM
If it Bitcoin can become a legal currency, not only an acceptable option of payment, then it will be a start of something massive. The mass will see its advantages and its pros. It will start a campaign for other countries  to legalize Bitcoin as currency so it will be easier for two territories to exchange trade.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 28, 2017, 07:51:21 AM
To gamble in a smart way is to be smart about it. If you notice that you’re losing more than you’re winning then stop. Gambling in a smart way is to use our common sense and stick to it. If you’re becoming more and more desperate to win then maybe that’s a sign to stop. If we are gambling more than we can afford to lose then maybe we should stop and take a step back. Smart gambling is not only about common sense, it’s also about restraint.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: July 27, 2017, 07:02:50 PM
Yes but don’t put too much expectation to it. You can make money on Forex but usually not that many. It will not lead to an instant jackpot or thousands of dollars turning suddenly to million. Sometimes it’s just luck to make that much money on Forex but most of the time its hard work. A lot of hard work, patience, research and good investments. Going into Forex, one should be armed with knowledge and information about how it works, understanding that not all techniques work ,and acceptance that it will not always end in millions.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 27, 2017, 06:41:01 PM
In what essence? Bitcoin will replace dollar as what? Comparison of monetary value? I don’t know of Bitcoin will replace dollar soon but just in case I agree by making Bitcoin as the global currency.  It’s been so long since USD has been influencing monetary values and foreign exchanges all over the world. I think it’s time to have a currency that has no influence of any country or institution. It’s unfair that a value of a certain currency should be compared and be influenced by another currency.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: July 27, 2017, 06:22:16 PM
When we suddenly revert back to the Middle Ages. Bitcoin will not die. Maybe it will be replaced by an updated version or a new digital currency. Maybe it will co-exist with other currencies. Maybe its popularity will fade and people will move on. But it will not die. It has made much impact in the history of the inter web for it to die. It has made headlines and broken and surpassed records. It will continue to cycle and it will continue to exist. It may be forgotten but it will not be dead.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: July 27, 2017, 06:06:46 PM
Maybe but it can make new ones appear. Maybe it will be banks that will deal with bitcoin on how to regulate it. Maybe it will be banks run by the government and how they distribute by Bitcoin to its territory and how can it be used in government projects. Maybe it will be banks ran by authorities to trace illegal activities where Bitcoin is used. It can be all these and it can be none at all. But one thing is for sure, Bitcoin is here to stay.

216  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: July 27, 2017, 05:47:36 PM
By simply talking about it. When my parents ask about what am doing on the computer, I said Bitcoin. When my relatives ask what am doing with my life? I said, currently dealing in Bitcoin. When my friends ask, where I get my money, I answer Bitcoin. I answer honestly as much as possible. When they ask for an explanation, I explain not thoroughly. When they ask questions, I try to answer in ways they can understand. Sooner or later they will search Bitcoin themselves. No need to be obnoxious about it and announcing it every moment. It will just turn people of off instead of being engaged.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: July 27, 2017, 05:12:59 PM
Yes I do save mostly for future purposes. I think it’s time for us to learn from history. Bitcoin was pretty much useless in the early history of bitcoin, 10,000 worth of Bitcoin for pizza? That's $25,590,000 now worth millions.  Bitcoin will become more in demand in the future, its price will wildly fluctuate, but its value will go nowhere but UP. So I will be saving now for the future because I’m sure Bitcoin’s value will rise in the future. Right now I don't have coins for me to hold because I already cashed out last week for an emergency. Back to 0.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: July 27, 2017, 05:05:34 PM
It’s not a question of what’s better. In my position, it’s more of a question of convenience. When you’re living in the city in the mountains in a third world country, sometimes technology hasn’t evolved past dinosaur age, thus making use of bitcoin in daily life a bit complicated. I use and earn bitcoin of course but until the world get on with the program and make bitcoin global, cash will still be prominently and frequently used.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 27, 2017, 11:22:22 AM
I have been gambling for 3 years and every time i decide to quit it there is something what bring me back. Not only me but with a lot of people is the same.
Is it addiction or just those casinos have something that pushes us to keep gambling?
It is not about money because even if i have enough money i keep gambling for no reason.

You're addicted! if gambling is affecting your life in a negative way then you must seek a professional's help(gambling therapy). addiction is pretty nasty thing, get yourself out before it's too late.
It is never easy to leave gambling right? Everyone know bout that .
Just treat gambling better , i mean don't set any target in gambling just like when you are usually doing it in other profitable business.
It is just an exclusive hobby that mostly cost a lot of money , so just try to gamble such as twice a month or so.
yeah its really hard to leave gambling if you ask alot of people in this forum. some people put goals and almost reached it but failed and ended up losing up all its better to not set target. some others gamble to get profit but its not their hobby. its better to not gamble rather than gamble twice a month
No of course it is better to don't gamble at all right?
But at least when you have a problem to leave gambling addiction you can give it a try.
To gamble twice a month isn't a bad idea right? Rather than you will always losing control and lost a lot of money.

To leave gambling instant when you are already addicted into is really difficult. The thing to do is to do it slowly. Limit your time and money. Give your attention on other thing to put away your mind on gambling. Trading is better than gambling to have profit

Indeed , everybody have experienced about this i guess.
Nothing easy when it comes to gambling , especially when you talking about gambling problem , what makes it addicted and how to handle it.
Everything could be so complicated , just don't give up when you want to stay away from gambling and its addiction.

I gave up when it comes to face my gambling addiction. I dont want to ruin myself just because I stopped gambling. I have done this in the past and I cant control myself to keep thinking about this. I made conclusion to stop gambling with high amount in the past and only play with a smaller amount to control myself

Well we are surrounded by people who cannot control their gambling so one addicted definitely is not alone. My friend tried everything he could to control he's gambling addiction. I tried to help him a way which was to limit amounts of money and walk out with any win. I thought by doing this he was in control. This kept him gambling thinking he's alright.
220  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hash Block.net - another scammer??? on: July 27, 2017, 10:42:24 AM
Before joining in a investing platform you should be an early bird to invest for the on time payment. Once you got the payment don't re-invest because there's a  big chance the will collapse. For OP that's a huge amount of money you've have wasted for a scam site, I don't know how can you recover that money. Their facebook account is a bot! That's why some people attracted to invest because of the followers and likes that displayed on their page.
