201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: April 15, 2024, 10:43:01 AM
The answer "I don't know" is the most accurate answer because the truth is that no one knows what will happen next. Everything is just a prediction, and predictions are based on each person's expectations, no one has a crystal ball to tell about the future.
No one knows is what we should tell about $100k but we all have the same heart and mind that it's going to happen anytime soon. However, we don't have exact date when.

I didn't expect bitcoin to reach $100k before the halving but I did expect bitcoin to reach $75-80k before the halving. Even though time is running out and bitcoin is trading at $63k, but I still hope for more positive changes in the coming days.
Not possible this halving since we're less than a week before it happens and I don't think that we'll get a more than $30k of increase with that span.

Maybe $5k-$10k is possible of gain for BTC's price but not that much for less than a week for it to reach $100k.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 15, 2024, 09:12:28 AM
Sure he will be training hard as Tyson has built his name to be a solid KO artist. But I doubt this will be a serious fight. It's called an "Exhibition fight" for a reason, no one will get harm especially the old guy and probably Jake Paul would be able to continue his career as a boxer now.
I also doubt that this is going to be a serious fight. You know how Jake Paul fights and if this is going to be favorable to him then Mike will have to let go with his ego and pride and let the guy win.

With the history of Paul with his matches, it's said that there's always some contract being done before the match happens or even the day the fight has been announced to the media.

There's still plenty of time to promote the fight, but the world knows it's Mike Tyson so they'll watch especially that it's broadcast in Netflix where membership is not expensive unlike paying a PPV subsciption.
It's more of a comfortable PPV this time since it's on Netflix.
203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: April 15, 2024, 07:55:23 AM
If you are for trading, you definitely are for trading and there are no complaints at all. Yes, the hardship is there but that's part of the how fun trading and making money is.

Most of the time we feel this during bear season.
Why is it that people keep on talking about bear season where in fact, we're in the bull run? I know that I've got the context about it that it gets boring during that season.

But as you trade, you don't choose any season and if you're certified trader and you're full time on it. You can justify the profession that you've chosen.

Anyway, as a free person. You can enter and get out of trading anytime you want.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: April 14, 2024, 11:12:32 PM
Eradicating the entire poverty through Bitcoin is not possible. But if it's going to be each individual's poverty then it's possible that Bitcoin can help through the means of investing and holding it.

Check out those holders that have been holding Bitcoin since year's ago. You don't know how many of them were minimum wage earners and they're able to surprisingly earn through holding Bitcoin and able to uplift their lives and way of living.

Uplifting everyone in poverty isn't the job of Bitcoin. But those that have believed and took the risk buying it surely has been paid off now.
205  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: April 14, 2024, 09:57:48 PM
IMHO, there's not that much difference of investing in exchange tokens and casino tokens. But if it's about the main difference, it's about the volume that these two categories are getting.
and about out trust in the coins either exchange token or gambling token  because it is
their long running is what important here , as we are mostly  for long term and not in instant profiting.
Well, it's opposite to what many known that if you can take profit on an instant with that, why not take them if you've got no plans to long term?

Quote
While most of the exchange tokens have got a lot of volume daily. The one with the casino coins depends on how successful they are with their business.
while freebitco.in and Rollbit.com is truly successful yet their tokens does not
gaining that much popularity .
RLB has $330M in market cap.

Fun token has $58M, honestly both of it has got a lot and their volumes are fine.

Quote
I've known FUN token and it's good to see that it's doing just fine.
Have not invested in any of those, maybe I find no interest at all.
Okay. But now you know their existence.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar being addicted to online poker on: April 14, 2024, 08:57:09 PM
I think most of the athletes have their not so dark secret in terms of gambling. When they're still a dreamer and wanting to give the best life for their family, they're able to achieve that by being a star or by just simply signing a contract.

Now after that comes the harder part and that's about how they can contain and control themselves not to be spendthrift with their money. Because when you have the money, everything is accessible and easy to do.

We've got athletes, celebrities and even a commoner becomes addicted so, it's not surprising to see such news about one has seen gambling on some random videos.

And it's quite alarming to see that it has become so commonplace that a lot of people have become desensitized to it, even thinking that what these athletes do are something to be idolized and in turn, people will also do it even though they don't have the means to do so. The youth is who's the most affected from these activities by these athletes and superstars - and no, this doesn't mean they shouldn't do it, but perhaps people like Neymar should do it privately or not let other people document him doing it.

Then again, it's up to those who watch these guys if they will follow their footsteps even in that direction or not. IMO Neymar isn't doing anything wrong apart from prioritizing his gambling activities over his daughter's birthday, but still it's going to translate to a lot of youths thinking that gambling is cool just because their idol is doing it.
I agree, since they're idolizing him and there's a thought that "our idol does it so it's common and we'd do it too". This kind of thinking isn't new to the fans and as idols, they really have to set example.

But at the same time, we can't invade their privacy and whatever they do in their private time outside the sports that they've been doing or passion or career.

It's just sad that many kids are fans of him and other athletes as well and anyone who's being looked up to and then these kids might materialize someday that they'd gamble in support to their favorite athlete and team.

208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 14, 2024, 06:56:26 PM
Yeah, what a way to finish the game and I thought that we'll see some clutch. But we actually saw a clutch but that's a different clutch that we're not expecting.

This is what really means when there's still time left, anything can happen but on this game, it was still in the favor of the Lakers instead of the Memphis.

Next game of Lakers is on Monday against the Pelicans. Whilst for the Pelicans, they've just won against the Warriors today.

Yeah, Lakers survived this scare, I thought that they are going to lose this game because GG Jackson was so hot in the last minute or two of the game. And so it's a wild ending and Lebron's IQ wins the game for them. He followed the ball and he knows that it will be almost outside and it's bound to be pass and so he track it and then that windmill trade mark dunk of him to sell the win.

Still a tough game for them against the Pelicans who are in a winning streak and just beat the Warriors in their home court.
Yeah, that was unexpected and that play really did the highlight for that match. We're going to see later on how they're going to do against the Pelicans.

I think it's not anymore a bearing game for the Pelicans because even if the Pelicans will be tied with the Suns in case the Suns will beat the Timberwolves, I think The Pelicans have more wins between them and the Suns. However, for the Lakers, Warriors, and Kings which are currently tied, they all have their last games, so it's still important to them as they are aiming from that 7th or 8th spot.
You're right, actually the Suns are on the play-in whilst the Pelicans are already in the 6th seed. So this game just has to pass and we'd see on the play-in is with Lakers and Suns.

Which is for me a more interesting game.
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: Building a unique Casino game from scratch. What features do you want? on: April 13, 2024, 01:24:15 PM
How's the progress of your unique casino game? After you've posted here, the thread that you've made OP has got a lot of replies but you have never come back.

You've been online yesterday and I guess that you've dropped and checked this thread out for more details.

I like that you want to have no kyc at all but sadly, this is gonna be in some rare case with small amounts but when a user has grown or when the casino has implemented an entire kyc-policy, no one can stop that implementation.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 13, 2024, 11:24:15 AM
But it was even better when the ball was gotta be on the out of bounds and that ball save by White but then passed to Lebron and what a way to finish that posession.
Big finish by Lebron and with that shot they have the win. Honestly I think the game would be easy for the Lakers but it turns out they are having a hard time beating the undermanned Memphis Grizzlies, so now I have doubt if they can beat the Phoenix Suns. With that win also, that put them at the number 8 possesion, which means even if they loss to the Suns, they still have a chance on a do or die game.

Davis and Lebron were beast in that game, but if they want to make this team advance in the playoffs, they need everyone to get involve, especially  Russell who was out of tune in this game scoring 4 points only.

That last seconds of Memphis and Lakers was funny. Honestly, the last shot game and ball posession of Memphis shouldn't be that hard but that drive didn't go in, 3 points in the lead of Lakers but got a drive in on the paint.

But it was even better when the ball was gotta be on the out of bounds and that ball save by White but then passed to Lebron and what a way to finish that posession.

Ja Morant even pushed him and LBJ was just laughing at him, LMAO!

213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 12, 2024, 11:33:21 PM
With shift or none, the land based casinos will still be the go-to of many gamblers that don't like to gamble online because they don't want to be found out by their wives or husbands that they're into gambling because of the history that might have seen on their phones, and computers.

But the traditional way of gambling will never be gone. Yes, the digital age is there and this innovation seems to be unstoppable but we do have our hobbies and ways to enjoy gambling.

If it takes you to go to the physical casino and that's how you like gambling because it gives you the sense of luxury as not many goes there then go for it. And if you sense some feeling of convenience, online gambling is the way.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 12, 2024, 09:57:45 PM
The gold investors and fans would argue about it having limited resources or supply too. But no one knows what measurement and what exactly is the limit of it.

Compared to Bitcoin, we all know that it's got 21 million supply and the last Bitcoin to be mined will take 120+ years before it happens.

With all of the comparisons and aspects of Bitcoin, it's no doubt a phenomenal asset that everyone should look at.
IN ADDITION BITCOIN IS A KIND OF INVESTMENT THAT IS HIGHLY ENGAGED ON WITH A VERY VOLATILE HISTORY WHICH MAKES IT VERY APPROPRIATE FOR A LONG TERM PORTFOLIO PROVIDED THE INVESTMENT THOSE NOT EXCEED 1% TO 5%
NOTE: IN EVERY INVESTMENT INCLUDES RISK.
You don't have to do the ALL CAPS mate.

You're right though that every investment, it's always including the risk that we have to take and as for Bitcoin, this is risky as well although the risk that it has got seems nothing to us that has been used to it.

Those that have investments that are wanting to diversify, 1%-5% of your portfolio for Bitcoin is quite low but that ain't bad at all. But you'd see people here that have more than 50% of their total assets are in Bitcoin.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling or selling? on: April 12, 2024, 08:52:39 PM
How did you find the strength and patience to resist this temptation?
Please answer people who hodl not $1-2k,but at least from $20k
Make your busy, you don't have to think of selling them when you can but you don't actually need the money at that time. But don't forget to take profits when you can because that's how you make money on this market.

Resisting the temptation is that when you can think of your actual use with the money and if you truly need it.

If you don't have anything to think of and you're seeing the profit in there, you can still take the profit and convert into stable coins and wait until the dump again so you can rebuy at a lower price.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you consider yourself, the family and gambling? on: April 12, 2024, 01:05:54 PM
I have no control to my kids when the time comes and able to provide for themselves. They can decide for themselves but I'll still be there to guide them that they should do anything with moderation.

Because if they're not going to do that, the result will be bad and they may not take it provided that they will see the results of those that have became reckless with gambling and wasn't able to control themselves.

Educating them the good and bad thing about it and when they can understand deeper, they'll be the ones to decide whether they should gamble or not.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 12, 2024, 11:33:31 AM
Inoue's team mentioned before that they will take 2 to 3 title defenses and then they might consider moving up again to 126. I am also expecting Inoue to move up in weight next year.
While the match hasn't happened yet, they've got plans already. I guess that they're confident that Inoue is going to win easy against Nery but with that confidence, doesn't mean that they're going to go easy with his training.

They could really be very confident here, Inoue has the best record in a championship fight and the odds Nery just like the rest of Inoue's opponent is a huge underdog. I think the camp of Inoue is not going to overlook Nery, we have seen him pushing himself in training to the point that sometimes he got injured and have to postponed the fight.

We will see him at 126 lbs, and possible next year. I think he scan still be as competitive to that weight class.

Just a matter of time before he can adapt adding 4 lbs in his small frame.
That might be his last flight before he retires or else he'll not be contended if there's no thrill to that next weight division that he's moving.

But before we talk about that, let's wait until this match ends as Nery no doubt is the underdog on this match. Or as fans, we're just also confident at all on how this match will end.

With that, we have to wait in less than a month.

However I guess 126 is Inoue's final division as he is already in his early 30s. It will be more risky to continue moving up in weight while fighting bigger and heavier opponents.
That's why he has to do it as soon as possible when he's done with these matches. More title defenses and moving to the next weigh for him to have this undefeated record on history.

It's probably boring on the division that he's in when no one can beat him.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports winnings taxes on: April 11, 2024, 09:40:01 PM
OP didn't mentioned where he is from and that's the first question he should answer for us to give some idea to him on how it should go with his taxation.

If you've got to evade taxes OP, it could be a criminal offense in your country and you might be charged more than the tax that you're going to pay.

Anyway, we all congratulate you for winning that million bucks of win with a lot of soccer games.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for BSC memecoins to take over Solana? on: April 11, 2024, 07:53:59 PM
Just because you've seen another meme being posted by someone over X that's on the BSC, you think that there will be a change in narrative?

While, I'd believe that there will be some change but not because of that reason. This is crypto market that every narrative changes so quick while it lasts.

The meme coins that are trending through the solana network won't be lasting there for so long. But as long as they're popular and making a lot of attention, it will take time until they lose that momentum.
