In the year 2010,my best friend introduce me to cryptocurrency and he advice me to invest in bitcoin. I felt bitcoin was another ponzi scheme created by scammers to scam innocent people. Today my friend is a multi Millionaire. If only I had listened to his advice,I would have become a millionaire by now.
I wonder how your friend didn't sell his Bitcoins when Bitcoin gained some value in the initial days since he didn't know the future and what was going to happen.  I also wonder why you think you could become a millionaire and wouldn't sell your Bitcoin because even if you had bought Bitcoin in 2010, after a few years when Bitcoin started soaring high, you would most probably sell your assets after waiting for so long because you wouldn't know the future unless you have a crystal ball that tells you. You are saying this only because now you are seeing how successful Bitcoin has become, but in reality, you wouldn't be able to hold on to your Bitcoin for this long if you would be active in the industry unlike people who went away while having Bitcoin lying around in their wallets and then they came back when Bitcoin skyrocketed. |

I can't even imagine how it must feel to go to bed having a million dollars in your account and waking up to having nothing as all of it is gone, it's lost. This is a classic example of why one shouldn't put all their eggs in one basket. Someone investing or having $1m in their account can't be a beginner, so I wonder how he didn't take any precautions while having such a large trade open. I hear a saying that what important is now and not the past or the future. Those peeps believe on that and only living the moment. Maybe they don't need a help for now but there will be a time that they will do, once their resources have depleted. That must be the time that they will admit their mistakes.
There Is nothing wrong with living in the moment, and everyone should do that as long as they can afford to do that. And, the affordability should only be checked after the person has done all the necessary stuff they need to do with their finances and the very first one is securing the future. A person who has a lot of money in the present should make sure that they and their family have a secure future because they have made investments, started businesses, saved money, and have done everything required to make their children's future secure and so that they don't need to face financial problems when they grow old. If someone has done all that, then they are free to do whatever they want in the present. |

Dude, bragging about your Bitcoin is basically handing out a target sign. The world's full of folks who wouldn't mind "borrowing" your crypto if they knew how much you were stacking.
When I explain Bitcoin to people, I pull out my "dummy wallet" - the one with like $5 in it. Main wallet? Invisible. Close friends? Love 'em, but my financial life stays private. A best friend might accidentally (or not-so-accidentally) let something slip, and boom, next thing you know you're looking over your shoulder 24/7.
A very large percentage of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency holders tend to show off which is the reason why they disclose their private information and details in front of people which isn't a good thing because as you said, this will make one become the target of one of those people who might have bad intentions or have evil ideas in their mind after knowing this reality, so it's better if a person hides their financial status and financial holdings from everyone. I don't even feel comfortable discussing my finances and holdings with my family members and the reason behind that is certain things are better if kept private and aren't discussed with anyone and I believe finances and financial activities are one of those things. This is why I never discuss what I do with my money, how much I earn, where it comes from, etc., with anyone. |

How long a person will hold his invested bitcoins depends on his investment strategy. There are many investors who invest short term and invest long term. But those who are true bitcoin investors and who want to hold a large amount of bitcoins opt for long-term investments.
I believe one should do both, take profit when the time is right and then keep holding the remaining assets for long term but holding forever doesn't sound like a great idea to me. I know that Bitcoin tends to grow higher in value over time but it doesn't mean we should avoid taking profits when the market peaks and then starts crashing because if you sell at the peak, you can buy again after the market crashes and enters the bear market. With this strategy, one can earn more profit than just holding and not selling anything at all whether the market goes up to $100k and then goes back down to $30k which isn't wise in my opinion. If you sell at $100k, and then buy again at $30k, you will have more profit when it goes back above $100k in the next cycle. |

I use Grammarly as well because it's a useful tool that helps you find small mistakes in what you write that you might not notice normally. However, what I write is my own thoughts and it is exactly what I want to write unlike AI-generated text which is not what you think but everything is generated by itself. So tools such as Grammarly aren't comparable with AI language models such as ChatGPT, and people using Grammarly or related tools are not doing anything wrong, in my opinion. |

You are right about copy-pasted content, but as far as I know, people don't get banned for posting AI-generated content, it is just that it is frowned upon and disliked and one might even get a negative trust score from DT members if they are found using AI-generated content because there is still no official rule against this by the admin and until then, people will only get tagged for making this offense but will not get banned. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. That being said, most newbies barely read the rules of the forum before they start making posts and engaging in the forum which is why they violate the rules and then get banned. I have seen a lot of newbies making repeated replies in a thread, there are two probable reasons for that, first is they don't know it's against the rules, the second is they don't know how they can include all the quotes in one post and reply to all of them at once. |

BTC touched 72k awhile ago which means it's still bullish and may continue through the halving. If this happens; it will be a change in price trend compared to it's historical data.
BTC is usually a bit bearish after halving which I usually see as my last buying chance but it's obvious institutional interest may change it's price action this time around.
I could be wrong but do we think we are gonna experience the same repeated price trend?
We can't be sure of anything because we have already seen Bitcoin changing its historical movement patterns and moving differently than how it used to move during or around the past halving events because it has never happened where Bitcoin has hit a new all-time high a month or more before the halving event but it happened this time which was a very shocking and unexpected thing for most of us in the market. So based on these facts, we can't expect anything but we should be mentally ready for any outcome. It can't be said that one should buy more assets at this point nor can we say one shouldn't buy anything because the outcome is totally unknown. Maybe doing DCA is a good option for now. |

How come? There are a lot of hobbies that people have where they spend a lot of money because they simply like doing those things no matter whether it's a sport, a game, involvement in a financial market, buying and selling certain items, collecting items, and a bunch of other stuff that people do as hobbies and a lot of such hobbies would require the person to spend money on it. So if a person likes trading in the forex market and they don't do it as a profession, they might spend some money on it and do it as a hobby, they might make a few trades every week because they just like doing it which is why they categorize it as a hobby and not as a skill or a profession because they do it only when they want to or when they got free time. |
