201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects are abusing blockchain technology. on: November 13, 2018, 11:21:09 PM
Blockchain has a vast range of utilization which makes every business, company, institution, sector etc eligible to adopt it into their payments. It is not bad to see numerous coins being created each time but rather a sign showing that crypto is growing. It becomes bad when scam or fake projects set in the seen to loot from investors. However, there are new developments coming up nowadays to check all these scam projects.

Looking forward to the developments coming to check all scams here.in crytocurrency. These might be some sort of regulations. But, these regulations are very difficult to implement universally because of the decentralized system of cryptocurrency. I think the next best thing to do is intead of universal regulations, we can implement per country regulations such as Australia has been working on about ICOs. Also, US lawmakers have been debating about ICOs too.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the fear of crypto-currencies legit? on: November 13, 2018, 11:05:20 PM
We can't take away the fact that there were people who got scammed in the past involving a lot of money here in cryptocurrency community. So, it's so natural that there are people afraid of having any transaction in cryptocurrency. Taking consideration that cryptocurrency is not yet well introduced to the majority of the people. That fear is legit.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there hope for this year? on: November 12, 2018, 04:32:32 PM
For the past two months, the cryptocurrency market is less volatile. Prices are stable though at very low prices if we gonna compare them last year. But, at least the hope that these prices will rise is there already. Stability after consecutive months of downfall is a mometum builder towards bullish market.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is Going to $50 based on what I Observed! on: November 12, 2018, 04:13:11 PM
Ethereum is really hit hard by this one-year-old bearish market. However, $50 price per Ethereum is too much. Actually, ETH is stable around $200. Expectation is still high for ETH as soon as the market shifted from bearish to bullish.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guarantee of an ICO on: November 12, 2018, 03:35:07 PM
No sites about ICO ratings and reviews will guarantee the existence and truthfulness of ICOs. It's really hard to determine which ICOs are fake and scam. Considering that some ICO review sites are being paid to make ICOs look good. So, before investing perform a lot of necessary research.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Volatility: Creeping Evil or Essence of Crypto on: November 12, 2018, 03:26:52 PM
Volatility in cryptocurrency is needed for the it to be attracted to investors and to get attention of the people about the potential of cryptocurrency. This is very important especially for the very young technology. However, as soon as these cyrptocurrencies get mainstream, volatility must be reduced, if not eliminated, to sustain its adoption.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BULL RUN! BULL RUN! BULL RUN! on: November 11, 2018, 04:00:10 PM
Some expectations lead to disappointments. So, instead of expecting a bull run, let's just hope that it'll happen soon, if not this year, hoping next year.

Price stability maybe one of the initial signs of bull run. But, don't forget that the market suffered massive loss this year, so revovery might takes longer than usual.
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now a stable coin? on: November 11, 2018, 03:38:23 PM
For the past 2 months, the volatility of bitcoin is very low. Bitcoin's price can somehow be classified as stable but at low price. This stability may attract investors to feel positive about the market and hoping that might bring bullish market next year.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Altcoins Discussion Are About ETH on: November 11, 2018, 03:14:07 PM
This is just a prove of ETH popularity. Most of the talks this mid year are about the drop price and people are concerning about it. Since ETH hit the highest peak last yesr it never rise again and fall harder than any crypto coin.

Yes, popularity is one. But, aside from it, the Ethereum blockchain is also one of the primary reasons why ETH is highly recognized. A lot of ICOs were built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. This makes ETH as the king of ICOs.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: November 11, 2018, 02:34:49 PM
Cryptocurrency investments are good for people with already stable source of income. Why is that so? Simply because cryptocurrency is a high-risk investment; though may offer high profit. As for starters, invest only what you can afford to lose. You need to study the market well before investing. The marketis not always bullish market. Especially now, almost one year of bearish market. How can you make earning if this is the case?
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan’s Mitsubishi Bank Partners with Brazilian Banco Bradesco to Test RippleNet on: November 11, 2018, 02:19:41 PM
Ripple holders are surely happy with the recent turn of events. Through these trials, ripple platform can be tested thoroughly by these institutions. This shows how established institutions welcoming the blockchain technology rather than rejecting it.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: November 10, 2018, 03:58:55 PM
check out the Goods boards, i don't know if you can call it a "business" or a "store" but there are certainly a lot of people there who are making good amount of money from selling all kinds of physical goods for bitcoin.

These stores or businesses that accept bitcoin as payment are really investing for the future. They are taking the risk of accepting bitcoin. They want to be bitcoin holders, and believing its value might be 10 times in the future. This is just similar to mining, excpet that this time the cost is the product. In mining the cost is the electricy and equipments.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Till date, why is there no crypto that is near Bitcoin's worth? on: November 10, 2018, 03:42:45 PM
Aside from being the first cryptocurrency that shows innovation to the current financial transactions, it is also the way bitcoins have been mined. Its really hard to acquire bitcoin back then, of course now, you can buy them instantly. It's the trust and confidence made by bitcoin holders that makes the community of bitcoin bigger and bigger.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reason why crypto market bull run on: November 10, 2018, 03:17:19 PM
Bull run is somehow manipulated by those investors and pumps. We all know that cryptocurrency is still very young that only few have known this. Now, bull run is one way to attract new investors and at the same time making the rich holders richer. The decentralized system of cryptocurrency makes the task for manipulators easier. There are.no rules and regulations and everything is anonimous. It's very hard to trace those manipulators and pumps.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: November 09, 2018, 06:13:08 PM
I bought bitcoin when it was around $14,500 in January and I am still holding because I am not discouraged.  I have great hope that bitcoin is going to increase in price and volume in some years to come.

Well bullish is the only hope for me to recover all the losses that have gone away recently. The volume market so far are still in the situation were most traders are in the scenario of financial difficulty of investing in altcoins. Its really hard to apply bearish too due to the volatility was too unpredictable, that's why accuracy its hard to determine too. so keep holding was the methods we can do for now.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Currency on: November 07, 2018, 11:53:48 PM

Bitcoin is made as a digital currency but unfortunitely it is difficult to apply because at this time it is in less acceptance in any companies.
Also, it volatility made it not a currency either.
A currency is that which is accepted and adopted generally but Bitcoin is not accepted or adopted generally uptil  now.
Bitcoin is a digital asset and not yet a currency.
Bitcoin was created as an alternative payment system to the existing payment systems, but in this state it has not been massively used yet. The states are not in a hurry to legalize cryptocurrency, and without such legalization, the infrastructure under its circulation will not be created. Therefore, bitcoin is still used mainly as a means of accumulating value, which is interesting to people because it makes a good profit.

Yes bitcoin can be classified as currency as one of the virtues of why bitcoin was built in the first place, that is for payment for financial transactions. Actually, bitcoin can be used already in payment only if people would use it as payment. However, if you are a bitcoin holder, would you prefer to use bitcoin for payment knowing that its value is low? Of course not. So, at this time it is not used as intended because of the volatility issue that is why investors treat bitcoin as assets.

Hopefully in the coming years, bitcoin will go mainstream to perform its designation as currency. But, the problem as of now, for bitcoin's young age, people don't want stability on bitcoin's price, instead they want the volatility to earn profits. One way to help sove this issue, the governments should start recognizing bitcoin so that different applications and usage of bitcoin will grow steadily.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise again in 2019 on: November 07, 2018, 11:32:22 PM
The first ten years of bitcoin, it is treated as an asset. It is seldomly used for payments, in which it is designed to be. The main reason is volatility. Now, ita volatility is a factor that attracted more people to invest in bitcoin. So, these people are the ones who will make bitcoin rise again. The idea of bitcoin as a profitable asset. If not this year, maybe next year the bullish market will be the new hype. This my prediction.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of Italy's crisis on the Bitcoin price? on: November 05, 2018, 03:17:03 AM
Bitcoin's price won't be affected by any county's economic crisis because bitcoin is not under control by any country. Bitcoin is decentralized. Its price is determined by its supply and demand. It is more likely that whales have an impact on bitcoin's price.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitex head: bitcoin price may drop to $2000 on: November 05, 2018, 02:12:05 AM
What a bold statement made by these experts. But, it's really hard to believe to this kind of statements whether they have basis or none. With the current situation, investors just want to stay positive but this news want to shift the mind set of investors to at least think twice when investing. But, remember almost all predictions for 2018 fails. Now, only time will tell.
220  Economy / Economics / Re: Evolution of Money on: November 05, 2018, 01:56:31 AM
After knowing how money evolve through the century, next is how could this evolution be significant to the evolution of a new technology by the coming of the cryptocurrency. I think if money took a century to fully estanlished its presence, that would also be a very challenging times for cryptocurrency to fully function as it was designed to.
