201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: August 25, 2016, 06:09:14 PM
I believe that both can coexist, so people can choose which one to use.
202  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 25, 2016, 06:07:51 PM
Yes, i am doing different purchases in steam very often, cause i like to do it, also when i am tring to buy something online i am also trying to find a place with accepted bitcoins.
Good to know that there are services like steam accepting bitcoin.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: August 25, 2016, 05:34:36 PM
When I see that the winds are blowing in favor...

Volatility is insane with ETC
206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Bitcoin wallets are best to use? on: August 25, 2016, 03:07:46 PM
I am using coinbase web wallet from the start of my bitcoin journey and till now i did not had problem, and their security is very strong, and after that i started to use electrum desktop wallet for my bitcoins which i use very less only in emergency.

207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins potential in a year from now (25/08/2016) on: August 25, 2016, 03:05:13 PM
Thanks for sharing. I'll follow some of these...
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: August 25, 2016, 02:32:33 PM
A huge research would be necessary, could still exist high margin of error in the results.
209  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: August 25, 2016, 02:26:49 PM
It will depend on population of country and the percentage of people aware about the bitcoins, if people are tech friendly and believe in innovative technology then they will surely start using it.
Indeed, those who like technology and innovation are more likely to use bitcoin.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: August 25, 2016, 02:21:33 PM
People lose more money every year stored in their bank accounts and atms as compared to Bitcoins, the only bitcoins that get stolen are because of either carelessness in handing private keys or investing in scams.
Yes, problems caused by human error factor.
211  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: August 25, 2016, 02:17:55 PM
if i own 21 BTC i will invest them in this areas
Bitcoin P2P Loan

this is good but there are two big problems with it
- the market is filled with other competition doing the same thing, so it is hard for someone new to come in and starts lending bitcoin
- for bigger amounts of bitcoin there is a bigger risk so you will need to take a bigger collateral, and that is something hard to come by and the trust is always harder in these cases.

Local Business eg(salon , supermarket, fish business)

this is a good option but it has nothing to do with investing bitcoin. so I don't see why it is relevant at all here!
That's why it is important to thoroughly research the market before investing, the competition may be there to make things more difficult.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did I tell you? BTC will stay down under $600 on: August 25, 2016, 02:11:21 PM
Every TA article I've read over the last couple of days is bearish. Let's see if we hold $500 and ultimately CNY3000.

In the long run fundamentals always win. So get in if you believe in the fundas, or get out (of the way) if don't
That's true, fundamentals really matter and it is something important to identify in any investment.
213  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why we must trust with bitcoin? on: August 25, 2016, 02:08:04 PM
Trust is necessary in order for bitcoin to succeed and progress, the system is great and it can give benefits to both the investors and the actives users in transaction online so we just need to trust this one as it is the only thing that makes stable because it is decentralized and we have no assurance to get our money back once lose in value or stolen.
I agree, trust and collaboration are really necessary for the success of the currency.
214  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 25, 2016, 02:05:50 PM
sometimes using bitcoin as payment processor for buying something at ebay with Xapo debitcard, but for withdraw at fiat i will waiting price rising, maybe this is can be called investment too ?

Of course it can be called as an investment as you are waiting for the right time to sell to earn profits from it, and we only invest so that we can get higher profits from it.
Certainly, and I believe that most users use for these purposes as well.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is there to do with bitcoins these days ? on: August 25, 2016, 01:49:04 PM
You could do many things with bitcoin just like what you can do to the money.  You can buy it only to a limited shops who accepts bitcoin as payment.  I use bitcoin to topup my phone and you could also pay your credit cards through it.  You can even have reservation for your next trip through bitcoin.  If you are bored and want to have some fun, you could gamble some of it. Wink
That's true, unfortunately there are few places to do so.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon? on: August 21, 2016, 07:30:26 AM
I think Monero would have to offer something else besides anonymity.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: August 21, 2016, 04:56:32 AM
Could this be Ethereums killer app?

JAJAJA. Seriously? This is now a demo. Any developer in the world could go and copy this idea now and go build it. But idea is only ok.

DECENT= VAPORWARE. They pay $5000 for this demo and all these people thinks its "killer app"

I know you all gets paid to spam, but no body likes this for real lifes? Team not developers. What is team for blockchains if not develpers?

Decent is overvalued, I have seen some overview article about decent, maybe other social related projects will be better than decent.

Maybe, time will tell. But I do not understand when you say "Decent is overvalued"
218  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 19, 2016, 04:58:01 AM
I believe that most people use for both purposes. As a currency, when they use it as an payment method and as an investment, when they buy and hold, expecting the currency to appreciate.
219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Legit shops to purchase S9? on: August 19, 2016, 04:52:09 AM
I think buying through other options may be more costly. But I'd like to hear some suggestions as well.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin down to 500? on: August 19, 2016, 04:48:51 AM
After the events involving Bitfinex, it was revealed that the bitcoin really has resilience, being able to recover quickly
from big drops. I believe it will be difficult to see it under 500 USD again this year.
