201  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to use Binance on VPN on: October 23, 2021, 05:32:26 AM
You have to check on your reason for wanting to use VPN on binance, am from a country that the government aren't in a friendly relationship with crypto-currency but still I don't have a problem using binance without VPN. We all should know that VPN is mostly use to change the location IP of it users and many times it is suspicious to some app when the user uses VPN.
So if you aren't ban in your country from using binance and you are a legit user of the application then I don't think you should be scared of using binance without the use of VPN. But further more I haven't used the app with VPN so I don't know if it's safe to use.

Am sure if he ask is because of a valid reason not because he has something to hide, it is quite simple, your country didn't stop the use of such platform yet even though your government is not crypto friendly, but other countries aren't that lucky, using a vpn does not necessarily mean someone has committed a crime, if there is a need for it I don't see why not, the op can pay for a static vpn to always access Binance that way the ip won't charge constantly.  Undecided
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: October 23, 2021, 05:20:24 AM
Btc is not yet massively adopted because many people are unaware of it, others only sees it as a money making tool, once they invest they expect to make profits quickly, several others don't understand it, to them it is complicated and risky, and this categories of people are more than the btc supporters for now, so probably with continuous awareness people will start understanding it and adopt it more.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase Partnering with NBA and WNBA on: October 22, 2021, 08:48:31 PM
Coinbase already have millions of users using despite being a centralized exchange, I don't think they will have any problem with this new partnership with NAB and WNBA, it gives more opportunity for users to be able to access nft and crypto under same platform, maybe this can extend to other countries someday.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best place to get Yield on Stable Coins and other questions? on: October 22, 2021, 06:46:44 PM
Maybe in the dex platform you decided to choose, you can ask them what insurance protects you as a user in the platform, they should be on better position to respond to all your queries since they have access to inside information, there is not much Forum members can do for you.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: October 21, 2021, 01:52:46 PM
And the op even refer to it as "new best altcoin" it seems he has no idea what that sentence means, for an altcoin to be regarded as best means it has all the potential of a top altcoin with solid partnership and strong community support, clearly the op is just here to promote a pump and dump project, this type of project are risky investment, they are not worth the risk.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 21, 2021, 01:47:26 PM
I tried to invest on coins that will always have demand irrespective of the of the market situation, project with utility or good usage will always be valuable, at present I hold some pyr (holding my bounty reward) and am glad I hold because this project will definitely have its momentum when the time is right, I also hold eth because the demand for eth is huge, bnb as well, bnb use case is huge too, am think of adding dot or axs to the list.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Hashbon BOUNTY]: SIGNATURES Campaign - 200 000 Hash on: October 20, 2021, 05:00:32 PM

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP! My metamask is not showing me coins out of nowhere please tell me a fix.. on: October 17, 2021, 07:21:25 AM
For those who are commenting after, do endeavour to read through post before dropping your opinion, op already find a solution from his post above, it seems to be an update thing and now everything is back to normal, no need to quote the first post to make your comment.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are there bounties in Solana or Fantom. on: September 29, 2021, 06:56:54 PM
There is scarcely bounties of Solana-based or Fantom-based projects advertised here or any other platform. The most common way by which projects built on SOL or FTM reward community is by airdrop. Particularly, most tokens on Solana are shared by airdrop to users who join Twitter or Discord or sometimes to holders of particular coins e.g COPE. That's the hard fact.

Maybe the all the project launching in this platform don't need this type of advertising, seems sol is already very hyped network on its own so any project launching through the network automatically gain recognition from the vast solana community without doing any extra advertisement.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptos Under 20 Cents on: September 29, 2021, 04:46:40 PM
See and thats the thing right most chinese wont invest more than .50 cents USD so its tough to find a significant investment when your a medium to high cap stock.  I'm sure we will finally see someone taking interest in these eventually.
The reference for each investment lies not only in China, but also in many others and even some big influencers can also be taken as a strong reference if you want to run your investment in two different directions although China should not be forgotten either.
better to trust influential people than China. Even though they are quite big in the crypto market with a lot of speculation thrown around, they are making a bad reputation with their government.
influential sometimes focuses more on low-cost assets as well. we can see how Elon brings dogecoin? the trend may not be repeated. but some are still talking about new altcoins having good trades.

Don't use Elon and doge as a yardstick to jump into any new low cost project, dogecoin is a very old project and gain the trust of majority of the crypto community before Elon Musk came into the picture, Elon did not just support doge after few months of launch,  there is a big difference.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking stables? on: September 29, 2021, 04:42:35 PM
Lending is also fine, mean in general something with a ROI which won't scam me for my stables Smiley (or horses)
So have you tried it? I'm seeing in my Ledger Manager that you can do the Lend option. It accepts the following stables
  • USDC
  • DAI
  • USDT

It's pretty informative within the site linked below. Just be careful about how much you are risking. I haven't tried it TBH but I think it's worth to try.

https://www.ledger.com/lend

I also think this is your best shot, from my understanding you are looking for a total decentralized way of staking without any risk of losing your funds, having the ability  to lend directly from your ledger even though the roi is small is better,  better to be safe than sorry.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kid already making $32k monthly through ethtereum on: September 28, 2021, 08:31:58 PM
I came across this news recently on the Internet and I was really amazed, excited and hopeful as well, those siblings are vert smart and behave very maturely in the for their age, something not very many adults are involved in, this little kids are able to handle effortlessly,  congrats to them, their parent must be very proud.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OpenSea admits insider trading on: September 28, 2021, 11:24:45 AM
First there was an accusations about someone from inside doing some manipulation. The alleges accusations come from someone in twitter.

And now they have admit to it? Weird in any case, are they any repercussions to the person who committed this fraud? I know that the reputation of OpenSea is on the line here, but not sure if they really value it or not. Will the next competitor take advantage of this situation?

Most definitely,  their reputation is really at stake here until they do something to regain the trust people hard on them, right most people will be very scared to have anything to do with opensea, as it is anything can happen because there is a red flag.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is easier? on: September 28, 2021, 10:04:13 AM
To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

Am not a full-time trader but I do feel I can say one or two things about this topic, you see, sometimes riding the hype is more profitable when you get in a bit early, if you should wait for the hype to die down and wait for a dip it will probably take some time and you must have missed out on good profit,

Once a project hype is high and it begins to pump then jump in when it's still 5% up, you could be lucky as long as you are able to monitor the market closely.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To recover Lost Transactions in cryptocurrency?? on: September 28, 2021, 09:55:24 AM
IF we send wrong Transactions to anyone who we can recover it??

No brother, you can't recover it so easily by telling someone else, the only way is if the person who owns the wallet decided to transfer it back willingly otherwise there is nothing you can do unfortunately, a wrong crypto transaction is into someone else wallet and only that person has the power to send it back.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Good ways to trade? on: September 26, 2021, 08:44:18 PM
you are not new to crypto. stop lying for just to get post. you have been into crypto for a long. if you have nothing to post. please read or go try the post in this community and choose the one you are related to and have something to comment on. that youway, you will learn or learnt something New. there is no need creating a post because you are New.

It could be he is new and just too lazy or don't have the time to do proper research, there are people who like to be spoon fed for them to be able to survive,  I only hope with all the contributions of information made in this thread by members of this forum to assist will not go to waste because he didn't bother to read.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Website for tracking new IDO on BSC. on: September 26, 2021, 08:37:28 PM
Have you tried icodrops.com, if it hasn't been recommended above already,  you should try it because it gives detailed information of different varieties of projects, websites, tokenomics, ido,ico or ieo details, perhaps there is a website that specify on bsc related projects only to make the search much easier.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC Ever Stop Defining Market Movements? on: September 26, 2021, 08:30:25 PM
I would also love to see altscoins operate independently from btc some day, hopefully sooner than we know this will occur, as of now, btc still have a strong influence over the other alts reason why many alts are currently red while btc fight going below 40k, only few out of the majority are not affected.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL? on: September 25, 2021, 08:21:32 PM
Honestly no, I don't see this as a good idea, although i don't deny that sol has really surprise many of us and even exceed the expectations of many but btc and eth are the two most recognised coins in crypto, trusted and reliable to some extent,  selling them for sol is not a wise decision at this point when sol already pumped so high, supposing the investment on sol was at it's earliest stage I won't object. Better to invest on sol with new capital and keep btc and eth.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto declared illegal in China!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: September 25, 2021, 06:52:27 PM
Why China always show disinterest on crypto so much that they always declare it on the news all the time! Why they like doing this, Is crypto such a big threat to their economy that bad they are compel to always have bad publicity for crypto! It is really becoming very boring to constantly read about such negative news from China all the time, my wish is to see the crypto community going stronger without their influence.
