201  Economy / Speculation / Re: The attractiveness of Bitcoin among my friends on: May 30, 2024, 06:09:00 PM
I guess many of you guys here will hit on me that it was risk of me exposing my Bitcon investment to the public but if I may ask in such case, how do we expect to achieve the widely adoption of Bitcoin users if we keep acting ghost of it?
I don't know about those many guys but I think you haven't done anything wrong by doing that. I have also shared my Bitcoin and crypto investment with many members of my family and with my friends and I don't really care that how they consider my investment.

If they like the idea then they may get some interest in it and may also start investing on their own. I believe it's not worth it to hide your investment from your loved ones and from your friends who may also get interest in it after knowing that you invested in it.

I believe that's the best way to promote Bitcoin to those who don't know about it. If you are telling someone about your Bitcoin investment then you should also tell them about the risks of this type of investment and about the volatility of the market.

203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greediness or Addiction -which one is more disastrous? on: May 30, 2024, 11:53:39 AM
Well, I believe that both Greediness and Gambling Addiction make our lives terrible.
Greed is always present in us humans and we can't control it fully but it's not the greed that makes our lives terrible always but gambling addiction could do that literally. I have seen many greedy people making a lot of money and enjoying their lives but in gambling world greed could be destructive without any doubt.

However, when greed crosses its levels and turns into addiction then things go wrong with the addict. Any type of addiction is harmful for our lives especially when that involves money and in gambling addiction most addicts spend a lot of money in order to satisfy their addiction and possibly in hope of recovering the losses and earning profits from it.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🚨Be careful with Shuffle Crypto Casino. Im Worried about Shuffle Casino Staff. on: May 30, 2024, 11:46:59 AM
OP Shuffle Casino's representative has posted his comment on this thread and I believe that's more than enough to prove that they aren't unreliable as a casino. I believe the leaked data which you mentioned in your thread were leaked from somewhere else instead of Shuffle.

If you haven't KYC approved your accounts on other sites then your thread may have some weight but if you have KYC approved on other sites as well then you can't blame Shuffle because your data could be shared in another site's breached data.
205  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: May 30, 2024, 09:35:50 AM
It's dilusional to think that casino tokens are stable, they appear stable due to lack of trading activities and volume, which may also be as a result of low or lack of liquidity.
Yes, it's delusional to even think something like that, the casino tokens are unstable coins and they are highly volatile when there's enough trading volume but I have observed the chart of Fun token and I believe that one isn't profitable at all for the investors and the risk is too high with that token.

I have personally invested in that token a few years ago and lost money in it instead of making any profit from it. I know at current value it has potential of growing to some extent but still the risk of investing in that token is way higher than other narratives and that's why I don't recommend anyone to invest in that token.
206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need hints about renting sig spaces on this forum. on: May 29, 2024, 08:58:50 PM
My question is I will like to know how this idea is beneficial to anyone, what is the gain of renting someone's signature space and how can one make the best of it?
The users who rent their signature campaign earn money and that's the best benefit someone could have on this forum. The platforms that rents the signature space will also get profits in the form of exposure. Renting of someone's signature space is helpful for both the one who place it for rent and also the platform that rents that signature space.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do if you are loged out from your Sportsbet app after wining? on: May 29, 2024, 08:54:54 PM
My question is has anyone of you been in such situation before? And how were you able to handle such situation?
I have never been in a situation like that but if I ever face any similar situation in future then surely I will try my best to take the won amount.

The money that we win is our own money and if a casino tries their over smartness to rug our money then we should not allow them to do that.

I would also do that and try my best to report that casino at all available crypto forums and also I would try my best to take my money from that casino even if I need to go to extreme levels.
208  Economy / Gambling / Re: Potential Match Fixing involving Finnish teams FC Futura and Ilves-Kissat on: May 29, 2024, 08:48:42 PM
All of those cases could involve match fixing but there is always going to be the "could be" not a clear evidence. The bettor was winning huge amounts and the bookmakers weren't happy with those huge winnings. I know the matches were very suspicious but still it's hard to prove that in actual there was any kind of match fixing involved.
209  Other / Meta / Re: How would the forum feel/react if Casinos were banned like Mixers? on: May 28, 2024, 10:06:27 AM
Only hypothetically speaking, because that would literally never happen in a million years.
Do you believe that Bitcointalk will survive million years? If you think it will survive million years then you might have to get some treatment.

When it comes to casinos then it's possible that one day they may also get banned on this forum if new rules and regulations take place and government and other centralized organizations fully oppose the online casinos and start strict actions against those.

But, if I'm not wrong then at current times we should not worry about that because the casinos haven't done anything that would make those organizations to take any actions against them. That's why we should not even think about something like that.
210  Other / Meta / Re: Application for Merit Source - TheUltraElite on: May 28, 2024, 09:59:24 AM
I believe Indian local board needs a merit source and that's why I fully support this application. There are some good posters at that local board and due to lack of merit sources they aren't able to get proper merits for their posts, and that's why this application is indeed a very important one.

I used to make some posts at various local boards where English was allowed as a language but now I don't really post at local boards anymore. Indian local board was among those local boards and I can say from my own experience that there are some good posters at Indian local board.
211  Economy / Services / Re: HB's Signature for Rent on: May 27, 2024, 08:28:53 PM
Since the ban of some services the major campaign in the forum currently are casinos. I just hope you will find a service that will suit your beliefs. All the best.
Yes, these days the most active campaigns are those of casinos only because there are still some campaign s that suit the choice of Hugeblack and I believe he might get some offers from those campaigns. I believe he's going to be a great asset for the campaign that rents his signature space.
212  Economy / Services / Re: HB's Signature for Rent on: May 27, 2024, 08:18:26 PM
HugeBlack is one of the most reputed members of this forum and he's known for his high quality posts. Any platforms who rents his signature space for advertising purpose will get best possible results. He is one of the most active members of this forum, and any platform that rents his signature space will get best exposure on this forum. I highly recommend him!

214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't advice anyone to invest on Bitcoin if he doesn't have Alt. income on: May 27, 2024, 03:38:38 PM
You were the ones who first told him about investing in Bitcoin and now when he's ready to invest in Bitcoin, you're trying to run away from him. I know his situation is different now because he has lost his job but you can still help him to start investing in Bitcoin.

If you're a good cousin then tell him in detail about the crypto market and its volatility, and at the same time you should tell him about the security issues that could arise if someone invest in Bitcoin without proper knowledge.

Once you clear out everything, then allow him to decide that whether he's going to invest in it or not, if he again decided to invest in it after knowing all those things then you should at least help him out a little bit by guiding him that how one can start investing in Bitcoin, or you could tell him about this forum and then he may learn about Bitcoin investing from the reputed members of the forum.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 27, 2024, 03:30:39 PM
If gambling is your thing, have fun, but don't be foolish. Be informed, set limitations, and remember that it's about the experience, not the money
That's a useful advice to any gambler and I highly agree with you. A gambler should enjoy the moments he spend on gambling and don't let his greed to ruin his fun experience.

Gambling is a great way to have some fun but those who doesn't set limitations and allow their greed to interfere are the ones who end up getting addicted to it.

If someone say you can be a millionaire by gambling then avoid such person but if someone says that you can enjoy some time during gambling session then listen to that person.

Gambling can make us enjoy the moments and that's more important than anything. Those who gamble in order to earn a lot of money often get addicted and depressed.
216  Economy / Gambling / Re: Earn Bitcoin With HunnyPlay's New Referral Program! $5k Bonus + upto 18% cut. on: May 27, 2024, 03:23:27 PM
Our new program offers:
💰 A whopping $5000 Bonus for each successful referral!
That's the most insane offer I have ever seen, and I don't think that any casino can afford to pay $5000 for each referral. I smell something fishy about your referral program because if that's the case then there are many users who can easily bring 100-1000 referrals without much hassle.

I don't think that bring 100 users will allow them to earn $500k because that isn't a small amount and how could a casino pay that much to the users who bring 100+ referrals? Are there any hidden terms and conditions behind your referral program? I don't know why but it doesn't sound genuine to me.
217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hot wallets are not the same as hardware wallets. on: May 27, 2024, 03:17:17 PM
Hot wallets are the wallet that are connected to the internet while cold wallets are those wallets that aren't connected to internet. In that sense, hardware wallets fall into the category of cold wallets and those are totally different from hot wallets.

Let's say you have a wallet at an exchange, and you can access that wallet with internet connection, then that wallet is an hot wallet, e.g Binance's wallet is the best example of hot wallet. The wallets that you get at other exchange's are also considered as hot wallets, even your own personal wallet which's connected to internet is considered as a hot wallet.

And at the same time, you have a hardware wallet or any other device that hasn't been connected to internet could be considered as cold wallet. Yes, it's much easy to make transactions from hot wallets but such wallets aren't safe at all. Any device that's connected to internet isn't safe, and can be compromised by hackers.

If you want best security then you should go with cold wallet or hardware based cold wallet but if you don't give priority to security and want transactions to be done on daily basis then you can go with a hot wallet. However, I warn you that with hot wallet your assets are at risk and if your system gets infected with any malware or virus then hackers can easily transfer your funds without your permission.
218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading diary on Binance on: May 27, 2024, 03:06:14 PM
If I'm not wrong then it's the thread where you share your trades with us? But, that's not a dairy in anyway, if your real intention is to make a trading diary then try to make it offline, but if you want to share your trades with others then why not to start your own trading YouTube channel instead of this thread?

Your account on this forum is quite new and I doubt that anyone would ever follow your trades, but if you're really going to share your trades and analysis then I highly suggest you to share some technical analysis as well.

You can embed images directly by purchasing Cooper membership and that doesn't cost a lot of money. If you really want to share your analysis and technical analysis via this thread then embedded images would be very helpful.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: First they ignore you: Are we (the Bitcoin/crypto users) about to win? on: May 27, 2024, 02:59:24 PM
I am scared of politicians. They lie so much. And when vying for office, they lie much more. And now that the elections are close, they will lie 100 times more to win over the support and votes of the crypto community.
I highly agree with your opinion, the politicians often try their best to lie in order to win more votes but we have no other option available and that's why we should give them some chance to see if they are lying or they're sincere about their promises.

Donald Trump can be a good politicians who may support the narrative of cryptocurrencies and may reduce the strict actions against the crypto community and at the same time he may make it easier for American citizens to hold crypto currencies. I believe he's better than Biden when it comes to crypto support, however, no one is fully aware about his real intentions.
220  Economy / Reputation / Re: What to make of members such as "EtihadBitcoin" on: May 26, 2024, 05:17:15 PM
I could be wrong but that does not seem to be the case with this member.
You may not be wrong, what's your assumption about that member? I believe such moves are quite strange because a user who hasn't been active on the forum for many years, starts making posts on topics that are part of reputation board. The case is clear, the user who posted there already had full knowledge about that thread.

I think there's chance that the account might be an alt account of someone else who might not have guts to post in that thread from his/her original account. That could be the case I believe because such accounts when wake up after long time start positing in threads like that shows that they already knew about the thread and that's why he/she posted on that thread instead of any other thread.
