And polo pumped it to 3300 btc at launch, definitely an insider trading I would still go with a 20% founder reward like what Zcash or Zcoin has compared to a full POS ico AND the founders holding another 10% of the coins released before the software is even released. This also gives an incentive in their own currency (and not USD or Bitcoin) to keep on working. We can argue that the 20% is a bit too high, but still better compared to the rest of the schemes. I agree with you, too high but similar scheme to other projects reserve with incentives, which is acceptable, I am just angry about too high reserve. For those who want to be extra careful with leaving backups laying around in plain sight, or if you are afraid of losing it while you take a backup with you I suggest you use the open source encryption tool called VeraCrypt (get it here https://veracrypt.codeplex.com) After installation open the program and click the "Create Volume" button, then create an encrypted file container by pressing "Next". A Standard VeraCrypt file is very good for creating an uncrackable file so click "Next" again. Then select the location and filename you want to store it before copying it to various physical or digital places. You can basically use any file format you want for this. As a random suggestion you can name the file "haha.mp3" Why name it as an .mp3 file? Because nobody will ever expect it to have your precious Stratis coins inside (or other digital gold) It is strongly adviced to use 3-cascades algorithm like "(AES(Twofish(Serpent))" and as hash algorithm SHA-512 for MAXIMUM security and encryption. Press "Next" when done. A filesize of 10 MB is more than enough to store multiple cryptocoins inside. Even 1 MB is enough for a backup of the Stratis wallet. Click "Next" Read the guide in the program for a good password. Now select your password and double type it as confirmation. Click "Next" Move your mouse as randomly possible within the program to generate an increased cryptographic strength of the encryption key until the red bar turns full into the color green until the end. Press "Format" Encryption will begin and you will get a message in screen that it was created successful. How to load the encrypted file container (and store your file in it)Go back to the VeraCrypt program and select a drive letter. Select the encrypted file "haha.mp3" in this case and click "Mount" Type your password and select "OK" It will load the encrypted file container and now you can access the selected drive letter on your computer. Copy your Stratis wallet.dat inside it and after that click "Dismount" Congratulations! You now have a maximum encrypted wallet as backup that you can store anywhere AND take with you. In case you lose the copy you don't have to worry about it. And as always make multiple backups and do not forget any password  Great article, the unbreakable password will make hackers headache, and REMEMBER: don't download files, or open any unknown link from email or see elsewhere. 1. is there any threshold for kick start the project? And an upper limit?
2. social campaign is in TVE, best choice there, easy to manage the campaign and eliminate the spammers there, but now there are more and more spammers there.
3. Asset on ardor, escrowed by nxt community, do you accpet nxt and ardor investment? Or only btc payment? OP is too long I didn't read a lot.

I think this dump is still from bounty hunters, they have 2 million bounty iconomi tokens, a few dumped above 20k sat, which was rough ico price. And some others are dumping below ico price because their tokens are free(or earned from daily forum posting, tweeting, fb posting) Also some weak hands dumped with losses, I wait for their chips at 10k or lower. And then Enjoy big profits next year. |

The price is stable now, new floor is 7k sat, although last time people dumped at 6.5k sat lowest, it still did not destroy strong stratis. I feel that it is time for us to discuss about this matter. How long do you people thinks that Bitcointalk signature campaigns will last?
Bitcoin will be hitting its peak and probably surpass it very soon looking at the current rate. Which means that more people will be joining us in investing Bitcoin. This mean that there will be a huge changes in the signature campaigns community.
I feel that the number of signature campaigns will be greatly reduced once Bitcoin reaches a new height because it is much efficient to just start a advertisement campaign on popular AD networks like A-ads and MellowAds or even Google Adsense.
I would say it will last very long term, at least 5 years. Unless bitcoin is dead or the forum bans any form of signature campaigns, which these two do highly unlikely happen. Firstly, I compare the price, Ad networks like google adsense is expensive than signature campaign, and can be cheated on ad clicking. I remember one click can earn 0.5-2 eur when I cheated in google adsense network, google earns money too, so one click of ad will need 1-4 euros fee IMO. It will be very expensive way to promote. Secondly, btc companies/service providers have their specific potential customers, most of them are in the forum, not in the whole internet world. |

Longest time frame is 48 months from their road map, and that will only happen when they raise 800k eth, it is very large amount of fund. It is not easy to raise so much fund. In my opinion, this project will not attract so much fund. But 200k is reasonable for them, 800k is very unlikely. |

I fully agree with you dude. When we see many people said that the price will be lower than now, I tend to ignore them. Why? I don't wanna be panic, we can't let them get cheap coins, i refuse to pay them cheap coins, I will stake and hodl my coins. Because I know stratis is an awesome coin, polo is near, moon is near, top 10 is not a dream, top 5 may come true in next year. Very confident, that is why i still hodl and keep buying since ico. |

Total supply will be double of the number of sold incent tokens. Thanks for chipping in, that's absolutely right! We will sell Incent tokens up to a cap of USD 5m. In the end, we will issue double the amount of sold Incent tokens ( see here why). Currently, we are at 17.65m sold Incent. the value of the coin will drop if its going to be double, won't it? 5m is the target, not the threshold, if 5m not achieved, the project also continues, so don't confuse incent with inchain, inchain will only continue the project if they raise 1.75m minimum, their names are similar but totally different projects. It will be cheaper to buy KMD after the ICO.
Most coins (that had ICO recently) are cheaper when launched at exchange especially the coin is launched on exchange just after ICO. see the likes of Waves , Rise, Singulardtv etc.
The market is too saturated with ICO. Those days are gone when only a handful of invester knew about the ICO and the rest of the traders only find out about the coin when it hits exchange. The situation is vastly different now. Lot of promotion of coins during ICO. everyone know about every ICO. So no one is buying at exchange when it launches. it is hard to find new buyers in two weeks time so there is no fomo when it launch at exchange. Investors get disappointed when the price just hover around ICO after launch and the ICO flippers dump at loss causing the price to go well below ICO.
So that's when you buy the coin if you believe in it. Not in the ICO. it only makes Dev & his shills richer. Dev has already said that the amount raised is sufficient for the project. If a reasonable amount of BTC is raised it keeps dev honest and motivated to raise the price of his stake (10% premined). if the ICO gets bloated Dev is already rich. he does not need to do anything for the investors after ICO.
It is right, for example singulardtv is a huge ico, raised $7.6 million in 15 minutes, but after hitting on exchanges, the price plummeted, the price is still under ico now. Buy after ico is a wise choice, especially all the ico markets are saturated and overpriced now. Unless we buy an undervalued ico, like stratis, only raised 915 btc(they should have raised 5-10k btc) and now is 5.5X of ICO price. |
