It's hard to get a good read this time. Believe it or not, this actually looks like it's not a bubble, despite the significant price rise. We haven't seen anywhere near the rapid rises we had in previous bubbles. The longer we move up gradually, or experience sideways movements, the longer this run can continue. So at this point, I see no end in sight. Big question in my mind is what happens as we approach August 1st - we could experience some significant changes as we get closer, maybe part way through July. Long term, the trend over the last 4 years has been a rise of about 2% per week, on average. Currently we are about 220% of the forecast price of $1276, as predicated by that trend. While high, I don't think that's enough to result in a significant crash. Corrections yes, but growth still quite likely. Have you updated the cycles to know if this rise is the main bubble of the cycle and how long can it last? 1 month, 2 month... |

We had been very quiet for a few weeks when suddenly the controversy returned with the donation-investment theme. I hope this does not affect our dev.
I keep the positive side, people working together for a project: Unvoid, EK, Coralrefeer, Imi, by rallier ... sorry for the forgetfulness
I think we should leave this donation-investment discussion aside because it is very toxic. It would be well for anyone wishing to discuss this issue to open a separate thread, because now it is only in the interest of progress.
Here there is a lot of work from people who have believed in this project, and it has done it free or almost free. We can not waste time discussing issues that drive us backwards rather than moving forward. We must respect the work of all these people.

Now note that the start and end of each cycle is completely arbitrary at this point, but that doesn't matter when it comes to comparing cycles and supercycles (the length is what matters, and that stays the same). Using this formulation and comparing just the supercycles, it looks like this:  So there you go. I think the cycles still exist. I'll look into playing with the ending points of cycles and seeing what more I can glean, but looks good for now. |

Totally agree. This discussion has been held several times. Before I thought it was good to set a percentage of donation, after hearing the community I understood that a forced donation is not well seen. We have to focus on lite wallet, then I am sure the community will make a major effort to donate when it is required to form a foundation. |

I do not know @yosir of anything, but totally agree with his message. We just have a vote in progress, EK is not obliged to NOTHING. I hope that EK and other dev as coralrefeer continue with us, but it will be their decision, not ours. He is one of the genius on this board. I think he is working on it. The lite wallet is not a bad thing, it is good for the distribution of the coin. If so, the lite wallet vote can give a figure similar to that 40%. There may be several reasons not to vote: -to think that you are going to expose private key. -do not know how to do it. You must learn because it is the same procedure to claim donated XELs. - Lack of interest in the vote. It is similar to an abstention. - Not knowing that there is a vote. I think the final number will be at least 30% less than the original 100M. where the left 70M ? I would not be surprised that many have not yet learned, we do not all look at this thread every day. Many people may look at it once a week or less. |
