I have some, but I don't like it. All these copycat altcoins are going to be the death of cryptocurrencies.

I think it's because there is a sudden burst in the pool. As soon as FTC opened up on BTC-E and saw its value lots of people switched over to FTC mining.
This. The sudden surge in users was unexpected. The stratum issues have been resolved, and AFAIK the longpoll issues have been resolved as well. I'm not running any pushpool miners, so I'm not 100% on this. I'm in IRC if anyone is still having issues. EDIT: I urge everyone to switch over to stratum if you have not done so already. It's still running slow for me. Was getting about 14 shares per minute last night, now I'm getting less than half that with the exact same configuration, hash rate, and everything. EDIT: And I'm still getting disconnected every now and then.

So practicaly 12000 FTC you could mine in a day few days ago, now you change it for 50 BTC which is going to be around 50K USD after there is another problem with EU, USA whatever... and some people go to work for money these days, could you believe that? 50 BTC = 50k USD? Since when?

Yeah the server is acting really weird. I'm getting shares in bursts of 5-7 every 45 seconds or so rather than the 1 every 6-8 seconds I usually get.
|
|
|
FYI, 2k FTC is worth around 10 BTC while 170 LTC is worth about 5.5 BTC (as of current btc-e prices).

Did they pay you to announce it because you're a long-time forum member?

I'm getting like half the coins I should be getting...hashrate is stable on the graph at 3200 kh/s average, the past 3 hours my account has gained 9 coins. Should be making closer 20 coins every 3 hours. It's been that slow for at least 15 hours, the pool luck can't be that bad?
Same, I'm getting about half the shares that I usually do on stratum even though my hash rate is the same.

Anyone else getting frequent disconnects to the pool? Especially on Stratum?
Yup, tons.

Oh lawdy I love me some stratum.

Login isn't working. I register and it gives an "account created" message, but when I try to log in the page just refreshes. I've tried turning off AdBlock and tried IE, neither work.

What price are you looking for and how much do you expect to make a day/month?

from: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117221.0cgminer versions 2.11.3 and up can be used to mine with high thread concurrencies now. Follow these instructions: WINDOWS: Open console and type Code: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 Now, close the console (it will not work if you open cgminer in the same window). Open cgminer using a .bat or a new console, high thread concurrencies will now work. LINUX: Open terminal and type Code: export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 Now high thread concurrencies should work in cgminer. Thanks, it now runs at 15000 thread conc, but hash speeds haven't really changed Still getting about 305-310 kh/s on intensity 18.

Did you even read my comment? Anyway, use Reaper, much better and less error, I promise (at least if you configure it the right way ofc.) And you can copy paste the setting I gave you, you only have to edit the pool (don't use http:// before the pool addres).
Thats it.
Yes I did, sorry, I got reaper and followed the instructions, but when I open it the window opens for a split second then closes, any idea?

Just worked through this exact same issue, but with reaper. What got me mining at ~350 KH/s was changing the gpu_thread_concurrency to 15000. More or less copied settings for the 7870, and it worked. There is no where I could find that had the 7860 settings filled in in a guide. You can probably get more KH/s by working with the concurrency. Solution was found in tacotime's post at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117221.msg1256502#msg1256502. I tried to set the gpu_thread_concurrency to 15000, but I get the following error message: [2013-04-06 10:34:38] Started cgminer 2.11.3 [2013-04-06 10:34:38] Started cgminer 2.11.3 [2013-04-06 10:34:38] Loaded configuration file cgminer.conf [2013-04-06 10:34:38] Probing for an alive pool [2013-04-06 10:34:39] Stratum from pool 1 detected new block [2013-04-06 10:34:39] Maximum buffer memory device 0 supports says 536870912 [2013-04-06 10:34:39] Your scrypt settings come to 1006632960 [2013-04-06 10:34:39] Error -61: clCreateBuffer (padbuffer8), decrease CT or in crease LG [2013-04-06 10:34:39] Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling device 0 [2013-04-06 10:34:39] Restarting the GPU from the menu will not fix this. Yup, I watched as it rose from 0.001 to 0.06 in a matter of 30 minutes to an hour. I was skeptical about it, so once I saw it drop back down to 0.011 I bought it up (thinking it would go back up), ever since then it's been below 0.005 or so.

nothing. its a crapy miner . you can try higher intensity, also sometimes concurrency 8000 is much faster than 8192. dont use 12.10 drivers! What miner should I be using? I've tried GUIMiner-scrypt and I get less kh/s. And I believe I'm on beta driver 13.3. EDIT: Still having problems I managed to get my speed up to 290-295 kh/s if I turn the intensity up to 17 or so. But I've heard people getting 350 kh/s at intensity 13 with my card.

Here's the config file I'm using:
{ "pools" : [ {
"url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.give-me-ltc.com:3333", "user" : "xxxxxx", "pass" : "xxxxxx" } ] , "intensity" : "14", "vectors" : "1", "worksize" : "256", "kernel" : "scrypt", "auto-fan" : true, "auto-gpu" : true, "temp-cutoff" : "85", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "intensity" : "13", "lookup-gap" : "2", "temp-overheat" : "75", "temp-target" : "63", "expiry" : "30", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "log" : "5", "queue" : "1", "retry-pause" : "5", "scan-time" : "30", "scrypt" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0" }
Any idea what is wrong?
