201  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: June 20, 2018, 12:19:40 PM
at present, bitcoin is becoming known to people around the world, especially in developing countries. the majority of bitcoin is introduced through news on television and on the internet. Therefore people are starting to want to know what bitcoin is and if it appeals to them, they will invest instead?
Well the government should not be silent on bitcoin, they think bitcoin is disrupting economic stability and there will be inflation in the country.
Do you think that bitcoin will disrupt economic stability and there will be inflation due to bitcoin in a country?

Bitcoin definitely isn't disrupting economic stability, but it is taking away tax money from governments that haven't taxed it yet. I don't see inflation happening in a country as long as we still need fiat currencies. Inflation mainly happens by reckless printing of money. Too much money supply=money has lower value=inflation.

204  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: June 18, 2018, 02:34:36 PM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?

I believe everyone should study economics to some degree(altough I may be biased as I'm an econ student). It's part of our daily life and if you plan to make money in crypto, which I suppose you are seeing as you're here, you should prob read up on the basic principals.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: June 18, 2018, 02:26:55 PM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?

They can, but that doesen't mean they will get hacked. It takes a lot of work to hack anything and unless your worthwhile tnobody will bother. Nonetheless, it's important not to share private keys or even keep them on the computer. The best thing of course is getting a cold wallet and keeping your crypto there. Cheers!
206  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bot trading on Exchanges on: June 18, 2018, 12:39:22 PM
Bot trading is, unfortunately, the present and the future. Traders are not in demand anymore, as opposed to the 90s. Today, it's all about developers who can make the right algos and bots.

208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 17, 2018, 09:59:01 PM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

You have to remember that every currency in the world suffered problems. Look up any nations currency and you will see inflation problems, failed currencies. BTC is still young, this is the formating phase and I agree it does act as a speculative asset currently.
209  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Building a Forex Community on: June 17, 2018, 09:43:23 PM
I suggest making a discord or telegram channel.
210  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New cryptocurrency exchange is looking for talented people on: June 17, 2018, 09:34:13 PM
Hi, I'm the founder of Bon PeKaO (BON) and I would like to build a team of talented people to run a new cryptocurrency exchange. This could be based on Peatio but doesn't have to be (depends on us). If you are interested in this project please reply to this topic or drop me a message. I'm covering the costs of AWS and offer professional QA. My idea is to initially run the exchange in my home country of Poland but we can go for other countries as well (only the ones where it is 100% legal). I'm looking forward to hearing from you!  Smiley

I am very interested in this project. A discord channel would be better for communication.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: June 17, 2018, 09:20:25 PM
I know some coworkers that sold BTC today, they are real casuals, they got into BTC because they heard it went up a lot, they don't know even to set a local wallet so they store their coins on Coinbase or wherever the fuck they buy at.

Well, they sold today at at the dip near the $4000 double bottom.

The irony is, these casuals are the ones that are always complaining about how it's unfair that BTC is distributed in the hands of few whales, YET, they are the ones that constantly panicsell and give their cheap BTC back to these same hands they are complaining about, because guess who is profiting the most on these dumps: whales. They buy lots of cheap BTC.

If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.

I believe the problem lies in the reason those people bought in the first place. They were uncertain from the beginning and that is why whales can use their uncertainty and profit. Better education on cryptocurrencies will lead to less people panic selling.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest personal bitcoin loss on: June 17, 2018, 08:46:56 PM
Lost 0.15 BTC on BitMex. I got carried away with leverage..
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers or Tether - who do we blame? on: June 17, 2018, 08:30:58 PM
Different people blame different things. The important thing to remember is to stop listening to everyone's opinion, but rather to form an educated opinion of your own. People often post those kinds of articles for views, rather then to inform people. The marketing aspect of crypto is very real.
214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop: Is this the Best Time to Buy? on: June 17, 2018, 08:15:37 PM
I actually preffer shorting bear markets like these. Hoping for a trend reversal is risky business. Buying the dip is also called "catching a falling knife" for a reason, so be careful!
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: June 17, 2018, 08:00:46 PM
Every type of investing/trading is for risk takers. The problem with crypto is too many people thought they would get rich overnight, just like with the dotcom bubble.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: What happnes to BTC,if the oil price goes up? on: June 17, 2018, 07:34:15 PM
I don't see any correlation. Currently, I think, only whales influence the markets.
