201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold on to patience even when it feels like wearing off on: January 02, 2020, 09:44:47 AM
for what reason do individuals consistently think patience is the key? For me personally I think patience not the slightest bit restores the circumstance back to typical. what you need to do is change your mindset totally going ahead and discover a way to adjust when the market is in an awful circumstance and sell when you need to and hold when you can
Because patience can do lots of things to us and also to out mindset, with patience within ourselves we practice controlling ourselves which can help us avoid the things we need to avoid like desire to sell when you need to hold for a little bit longer. For me i think patience is pike the general thing we need to have and the changing of mindset comes after you learn how to be patient.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: January 02, 2020, 03:43:31 AM
Well i obviuosly expecting the cryptoworld to be more known to the world because of the things that will happen this year, cryptocurrency being consider by lots of companies like samsung which can make crypto a mainstream and also i expect to have a good upcoming market in the late quarter of this year because of the halving that will happen in the mid 2020 so smart move now is to hold out your coins until you can see profit in it.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: December 29, 2019, 09:55:54 AM
Taking Bitcoin always makes sense. You may have damaged in a short time. However, Bitcoin can provide long-term profit. Anyone who has already invested in this market must afford to lose his money. The price of bitcoin can be very low, but you can be rich.
Bitcoin really never fails to give us profit, you just need to know what are the things you need to do in order to obtain that profit but altcoins are also a way to gain profit from the money you will invest there like ETH, XRP, Litecoin and lot more and i sometimes looks at cmc to see good looking coins, just remember to do not put your money in just a single coin, spread it so that the loss will be minimized.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube vs Crypto on: December 28, 2019, 06:17:50 PM
Yeah right, as long as cryptocurrency on the YouTube platform does not make violations of the rules on YouTube so this problem will not be long and will make cryptocurrency can be on the YouTube platform again
Yes it will be back on youtube again because cryptocurrency is our future, if we think about the future we cannot ignore the fact that cryptocurrency will be there so banning crypto stuff on youtube will be a mistake that they will realized when its too late if they will not realize it now. Youtube will consider adding cryptocurrency in their platform im the future and i am sure of it. If we can't learn crypto on youtube then lots of newbies will loss their interest and that will have big effect not only to crypto but to the world.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think altcoins will be used for in the future. on: December 28, 2019, 02:21:17 PM
I think altcoins may replace the current payment system and being good holding asset. Lots of altcoins have good feature like fast transaction confirm, decentralize, high security, avoid hackers, ... I think with those feature, altcoins may become the best payment system in the future.  Cheesy
Indeed we can't just set aside altcoins and focus on bitcoin, altcoins will innovate same as bitcoin and it might surpass bitcoin in some point like what you have mentioned about faster transactions but of course altcoins is also a way for scammers to fulfill their evil deeds so if we are talking about being used it is one but others usage of it in future will be some certain altcoin or altcoins may be used more often than bitcoin like ETH, XRP and etc because people will focus on investing on bitcoin and holding it more than using it in a daily basis. So to conclude altcoins will be used in the future like how we used fiat money today.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: December 28, 2019, 11:28:02 AM
I would now recommend waiting and not investing, the market will clearly fall below, you can invest about when Bitcoin falls below $7k.
will the market fall that low? what is a strong reason for your opinion? I'm not sure whether the market will fall deeper than now. see at the beginning of next year there is an update from ethereum and bitcoin. not to mention libra and other good news. I do not expect any further decline.
Well we should be prepared in this kind of times and yes waiting is a good thing specially when you are waiting for the right moment to invest but what the 2nd reply said was right, i also think that it will not fall lower than $7000 or will not stable under $7000 so you might wanna consider investing now because you might lose the opportunity, for me i have set a price where i will decide to invest and will not wait till it falls lower because i know that i will still profit from it even if it falls lower because i don't want to lose the opportunity.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 28, 2019, 03:54:48 AM
The whole crypto will always act as one. It is not because of individual characteristics of each coin but it is because of human behavior. We humans tend to group things together so that in the markets, industries fall and rise together.
Good point from that part as the hole industry was supported by investors and there's always people who will keep bringing new ideas but will also
take part of the original concept. Alts will depend from bitcoin and bitcoin investors will look after alts to bring something good from their investment.

It is true that when the market is going up similar assets have a tendency to move together but this tendency is even greater in the market of cryptocurrencies because as we know a substantial amount of the projects are just copies of bitcoin which means that they are heavily dependent on the behaviour of bitcoin for their progress.

And that is a problem because everything depends on the fate of one single coin and when bitcoin is not doing well then the whole market is not doing well.
Well it is because no other altcoin can keep up or meet what bitcoin can do now so altcoin's behavior and price will really be dependent on what is happening with bitcoin and indeed almost every altcoins is copied or have the same system as bitcoin has so no doubt why altcoins move depend on what move bitcoin has but i think it will not stay that way always, we are innovating and so do altcoins so maybe there will be some innovation that will happen to altcoins that can chage the way it is.
208  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: December 27, 2019, 12:49:08 PM
Well, that is true. People could create their own currencies and that would not be a problem to them since they can just improve things that is already there but the problem here is the value of that currency they've made. You could create a lot of currencies but I don't think without investors, that would not have any value hence it will be useless, don't you think? Saying that it would not be bad nor a problem to the economy of a country.
In my opinion, it would be bad for the economy of a country because if there is too much currency then it will clutter the marketplace of a country and people will be annoyed of the different options that they have. It is better and cleaner for the economy to have one dominant currency that everyone can use.
It's not that they will get annoyed because of many options, the thing js everyone has their own currency meaning that they will not be focusing on other currency but theirs so that they can increase its value but what the first reply have said is true, it won't have much investors that can help it increase its value so it's useless and cause lots of problems to economics.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: December 27, 2019, 09:50:07 AM
My answer is no at this point in time. The current reality does not involve everyday use. Let's hope that there will be changes for the better.

I agree, my answer is no too.

I do manage my cryptocurrencies but when we are talking about using it in my daily life, we are so limited to do so. We can exchange them into fiats or the currencies we are using in our country though.
Limitations are the same reason as mine and I only convert them with fiat currency in the country where I live to be able to use it.
and I use it only when I really need it, because I prioritize Cryptocurrency for future assets and use it only as needed and if needed.
We can't really use cryptocurrency in our daily lives in this era because there isn't much physical stores that accept crypto as a way of payment, day trading is the one that can make you use crypto daily but it isn't something tha we need like food, water clothes etc. Indeed we are limited now and daily spending cryptocurrency will be a waste because of the volatility do for now we keep on investing until the time comes we're we can use crypto just like how we can use fiat.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: December 27, 2019, 04:38:04 AM
It seems to me over the past year and a half that the crypto market has taught us one main thing - you need to be flexible and rely only on yourself.
For me, this means the need to expand our own boundaries of investing outside the cryptocurrency market.
The diversification of my assets should be much more universal than before. In view of this, I am considering other investment profiles, in a more classic format.

The year is almost over now and we should just be thankful with those things that  had happened this year, whether it is good or not, what matters is that we've been grateful and we've given so much knowledge and opportunity again that we will bring this upcoming year, so hope and I wish everyone will have a great New year.
Indeed. We should grateful on what is happening right now, even we experience a lot of ups and downs in the market this year of 2019. Good thing that bitcoin is starting to get back it's price again, so i think we should still focus on our investments because there is still a chance that it could increased it's price even more, especially for bitcoin.
We should be really ready for the year 2020 because i think many good things will happen to cryptocurrency, specially with bitcoin because of its halving. Lots of companies also having cryptocurrency in their projects like samsung and many more so invest now while the market is still low and prepare for the things coming after 2019 ends.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: December 27, 2019, 02:38:48 AM
For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now. Wink

We can't continue to regret about the past, it's time to look into the future.  If you can't buy 1 btc now,buy a fraction.  Imagine when it get to $30,000/btc, that would make some person give up on purchasing it.
Whenever you get the information about an investment, is the right time for you.  Regret no more and take action now
Indeed you can't just bring up the past because it will just make you feel bad for not taking that opportunity but now that you know that bitcoin is a really promising coin you should invest in it, exert time and effort in studying its movement, its price along with altcoins that will be affected by its price and also watch out for altcoins out in the market where has the same potential as bitcoin so that you will not regret not buying it once thay altcoin booms.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: December 26, 2019, 09:55:00 AM
Having a full time job and trading at the same time is a difficult task. Unlike qhen you are a full time trader you can watch the market closely. Just aim for a long term trade because day trading will be more difficult. To monitor the market find the best application to monitor your portfolio.
Day trading isn't really for those people who are taking crypto trading as a part time job because if you do and encounter some problems it might affect your full time job and worse case you can get fired so better to allot a time where you'll do some research on what coins can you go for long term investment and then focus on your work and check it every weekends or whatever you like to check it.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Boom to $100K Will Destroy Altcoins on: December 26, 2019, 07:11:58 AM
not all altcoins will die. maybe history like 2017 will repeat itself. right now I think big altcoins might like ethereum, xrp and others will still be able to survive if altcoin is priced at $ 100k but altcoin with low prices, low volume and also less interested. will definitely fall
Altcoin will loss its value and it's possible. You must not take the old history of the altcoin as a good information to determine where will the market be going on as so many experts have been doing the same and they are all getting failed to predict where is the direction of the market.
And it is very hard to happen what happened in 2017 and i agree with you that altcoins will not die right away when bitcoin's price reached $100,000, those altcoins who have no potential and good future will slowly loses its value and honeslty i think most of altcoins will slowly die if ever bitcoin reaches $100,000 and for those good altcoins out in the market tha will survive will surely have a massive price increase same aa bitcoin.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: December 26, 2019, 04:31:59 AM
There is a possibility that cryptocurrency will comeback by next year and maybe by first month of 202p so we just need to have more patience for now and wait until the market recovers.

And i think that it is right to comeback whilr the msrket is in dip and cheap prices for altcoins.
It might take a little longer than that, i think it will be in mid year of 2020 or 2 to 3 months after that. Bitcoin will indeed take some time to recover and a lot of individuals are expecting that halving will make a good effect on bitcoin that is why i think bitcoin will recover in that time frame, so for now be patient and take advantage of the down market, add coins to your portfolio that can make profits for you.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 25, 2019, 01:49:19 PM
I understand your perspective but I don't understand on what logic you said that Bitcoin might be over. The technology of blockchain is already being implemented in many industries and Bitcoin is being used by the masses. It'll be there until people use it and I don't think it'll be over that soon
Maybe he is talking about the remaining supply of bitcoin, when the last bitcoin is mined i think that is when "bitcoin is over" that he is talking about. Bitcoin may be nearly reaching its total supply but the fact that we are innovating and yes lots of companies are considering it in their next step i think they will come up with an idea on how will they make bitcoin become more useful for the public and they will not let bitcoin collapse or vanished.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 25, 2019, 10:43:47 AM
Well there is a lot of things that will happen specially to those individuals who have invested big amount of money to crypto, they will lose everything they have in crypto and i don't think we can recover the cryptos anymore and if ever some groups plans to rebuild crypto people will be having a hard time trusting it again, crypto might not exist again and a new system will be establish.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: December 24, 2019, 07:12:44 AM
The only way to stop scams is to stop investing in them and warning as many people as you can via the usual methods like the scam section of this forum and through telegram groups etc. and this will help inform those who aren't aware of these illegitimate projects
Yes a thread or discussion about scams that lurks the internet can help all of us to avoid scam projects but we can't just rely on that for not all of your questions can be found in those things, we should learn how to analyze a project, how to do some research about it so that we can figure out if the project will be a good ome and not a scam one. Knowledge is power and the only thing that we can trust here in crypto space is ourselves so making ourselves better is a must.
220  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin will replace money sa aking palagay ganeto ang mangyayari on: December 22, 2019, 02:13:27 PM
