201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits - BTC, Free Coins or Both? on: July 21, 2017, 08:29:08 PM
Hi everyone!

I would like to hear your opinion on three scenarios. I am not sure which one would be the best.

Let's say that you are trading altcoin X and you think that it will rise significantly within a short period of time.
You put 1,0 BTC on the trade (example).

Now the altcoin X rises as predicted to an BTC amount of 1,5 (+50%).

Which profit taking strategy would you prefer?

2) Take out your initial investment, keep free coins

- Now you have 1,0 BTC and an amount of 0,5 BTC of altcoin X
- You can start trading with 1,0 BTC again
- Instead of more BTC you have an amount of altcoin X - but those free coins have the potential to rise even more (especially looking at the possibilities of crypto currencies)

So ... which one would you choose?

Second one is the most logical one for me because you take some portion to the safety and you can continue with the rest. If you withdraw all, this doesn't make sense for me. Good trade should be conitnoulsy done.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 21, 2017, 08:19:42 PM
The best way to earn a stable income is to work constantly. Only because of the too unstable bitcoin course, not everyone will agree to receive a salary in this currency. It is possible to attribute simple storage of coins to a stable income, if you do not touch them for several years.

Working constantly is already being done by people. They're asking for another thing. It is in terms of trading or investing in hedge funds. You can choose some nice and solid altcoins and start to trade them against bitcoin for steady income.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Can’t Cryptocurrencies Replace FIAT? on: July 20, 2017, 08:08:56 PM
Fiat money is unique since the creation of the world. Crypto is just a good and innovative technology to make our lives easier. We all must beware of this and don't expect too much things from cryptocurrencies.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICO's are SCAM ? on: July 20, 2017, 08:03:14 PM
Most icos are not scams. I disagree with you strongly here. If you know the team, project and road map, it will never turn into a scam. It will only take some time to make a working product, as expected.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SONM or GNT on: July 20, 2017, 07:55:23 PM
Yes they are similar projects. I think the marketing abilities of their teams will be determining the success of their projects. The one made the marketing better will be in steap ahead.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: July 20, 2017, 07:47:13 PM
Yes, if coin not available on one market i will search alternative exchanges to trade my altcoin also if you are using arbitration strategy, trade at multiple exchanges is important to see the gap between each market.
Trade at multiple exchanges often give more benefits at the times when the price of bitcoin at one exchange is higher than the other one so in this case we buy bitcoin at one exchange and sell them on the other where the price is high. So we earn a good profit in that.

Only one exchange today does not meet the requirements of investors. Some of them are good for bitcoin and ethereum but some of them are better for tokens. Bittrex for example, a good place for tokens, but not good for major coins.
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 07:43:00 PM
It's never late to buy bitcoin, the vital thing is that finding the correct and cheap point to collect them. As long you be patient, you'll benefit from bitcoin.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Energy provider in Austria accepts BTC as payment on: July 20, 2017, 07:39:00 PM
http://www.nachrichten.at/nachrichten/wirtschaft/wirtschaftsraumooe/Energie-AG-Ab-Montag-werden-Bitcoins-akzeptiert;art467,2617284

sorry but it is only available in german.

The energy provider EnergieAG in Austria (Central europe, south of germany and no kangaroos) started to accept BTC as payment.
Why I post this here and not in a german subforum? Because it is great news that a second big company (biggest food delivery service in Germany too) started to accept BTC in a few days. That is great news

I read in one article that bitcoin is not legit in Austria, how come the energy company accepts payments in bitcoin? If yes, it's great news for the future of bitcoin and this can trigger new acceptances.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: July 20, 2017, 07:35:34 PM
I can't really understand people saying there is a link between criminality and bitcoin. Obviously, there isn't. As one of the users said above, the criminals keep going. They can get paid in money, cash, gold, any valuable thing. Bitcoin has nothing do with it.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 07:30:27 PM
I think it's better to let them learn what's they are being taught at school first. By the time they grow a little older or they start going to university it's no doubt that bitcoin will also become a part of their curriculum and studies so no need to teach them about bitcoin. Our kids I believe will be more bitcoin literate than we are.

Actually, that would be great to teach kids about bitcoin in primary school. So that they are provided a fiscal education during their childhood.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best altcoin to collect? on: July 20, 2017, 07:09:22 PM
Litecoin, ethereum, ethereum classic, gnosis, bat, tezos and dash are good ones to collect if you consider long term investments.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Ziber — The First Blockchain mobile operator. on: July 20, 2017, 07:02:31 PM
I'm sorry but the project really sounds copy cat to me. You could have found a creative name instead of Viber imitation name. This is really pitty if you're a serious team.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do now? on: July 20, 2017, 06:59:32 PM
Do you think we should buy altcoins now when it is dropping or just wait until it recover back? Also which coin has the most potential nowadays?

Buying coins while they're dropping and selling those while pump happening is the best strategy for me. This is very simple but it's hard for you to control your emotions while doing this.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: July 20, 2017, 06:55:28 PM
Some ico are still promising but people started to see ico as gambling. They thought ico makes their money x2 x3 automatically. This is wrong way to invest in a ico.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest ICOs in July? on: July 20, 2017, 05:04:21 PM
Please watch DENT mobile internet ico, rivetz ico and True Flip ico. These three look very trusted and serious projects to me, personally. I'll join them all.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: July 20, 2017, 04:40:47 PM
Are MCO tokens traded somewhere else than Livecoin?

Yep, It is being traded at Bittrex as well in pair with Bitcoin : https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-MCO and also in pair with ETH : https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=ETH-MCO you can see by yourself for more details following the link of desired market.
Good news, has been listed in bittrex, next exchanger is poloniex. I hope this coin can raise the ICO price 160k satoshi.

ICO price is never 160k satoshi. How are you saying this?

Please don't give wrong information to the people. The ico price of monaco was much less than 160k satoshi.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia prepares to legalize ICOs on: July 20, 2017, 04:39:09 PM
Russian lawmakers are working on amendments to the civil law aimed at legalizing ICOs, according to Vedomosti, one of Russia’s largest newspapers. Discussion of the amendments has already begun by an interdepartmental working group under the State Duma, which has been assessing the risks of cryptocurrency use in the nation.

I never think Putin will let Russians to use this crypto currencies freely. Russia has a close economy which the government has an intense control over people.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Spectiv: DECENTRALIZED VIRTUAL REALITY | ATTENTION MARKETS TOKEN 🎥 on: July 14, 2017, 02:34:33 AM
Dev, I have a doubt! And if things are not favorable on August 1, could this situation affect your project? I think this issue is independent, but I'd like to hear from you! Because if nothing happens, your ICO will be finalized in hours! Wink

That affects every single unlaunched Project for sure. But I don't think it's gonna be serious problem for Spectiv VR Project. They have already their plans done, I believe.

Waiting for the ico on september.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: July 14, 2017, 02:10:24 AM
MGO price and market cap pretty much back to the ICO values.

http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/mobilego/

You couldn't have expected it to stay around $2, it was obviously hyped. So the current price is even high for the value of mobilego project. Hyped project triggered a synthetic demand in the market.
220  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 14, 2017, 02:06:35 AM
As long as mining is profitable and the costs are reasonable, if we keep going like this then it wont last for another 8 years, imagine how many miners will be needed to mine by the next 2 halving? would you buy 100 ASICs to mine half a Bitcoin in a week?

Mining could maintain profitable or not. But the lasting time of bitcoin is not directly dependent on mining. The usage and demand are much more important.
