201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chainlink is a shitcoin and will dump to zero on: August 16, 2020, 07:50:43 PM
Why hate this coin? They coin is around for years and looks very strong with its community. All I can say is congrats to strong holders that believed in Chainlinks vision, every legit project deserves a pump but unfortunately many ignore this coin from the start.

Link is a great coin, and I am holding it for the future! Don't fall on this, in my time here I have seen many similar topics, only
difference is in the coin. We saw similar topics about Bitcoin, Ethereum, and all other great coins, this is nothing new.
When you see too many similar headlines usually that coin rise in price!
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 16, 2020, 05:56:34 PM
If scams are obvious no one will fall victim to them, many crypto investors have no knowledge about crypto and yet they refused to do some research to gain enough knowledge about crypto, this is the mistake they make

It's the main mistake people make, they invest without doing any research. We all have some knowledge about crypto-currencies,
but new ones are coming all the time, different ones, and they offer something, without researching you can't understand the
project and you will not know what you can expect from them. Anyone who wishes to invest money in crypto-currencies should
know how to research a project, you need to do it because you need to know in what you are investing in.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are your top 5 coins for HODL? on: August 16, 2020, 11:27:18 AM
if you want invest in long time then you'll top currency. However, there are many good currencies that have disappointed investors so stay away from such currencies. We easily understand btc, eth to mean good currency but many currencies are in a good position all the time which is attracting investors with new development activities.
Like see here
1. ETH
2. BTC
3. ADA
4. TEZOS
5. XLM

I have all 5 coins from your list for long-term holding, and I am working to have more, I am trying to accumulate as much
as I can. I think all 5 coins from this list are the coins for the future, until now they made incredible progress, and we can
expect a lot more from these projects.
Many good lists in this thread, good for new people who plan to have crypto-currency portfolio.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Kickico KICK coin a good investment? on: August 16, 2020, 09:42:47 AM
This project uses dirty techniques in marketing, distribution frozen tokens, pump the price a little, and then dump it again.

Like others, I got those tokens from the airdrop as well! And I can't do anything with them, they are just sitting there in
the wallet waiting something to happen. It's really odd what they did with this airdrop, and I would like to hear the real reasons
why they did it, when people can't do anything with that tokens.
I don't think it would be a smart decision to invest in this token.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Gameplays and Strategies on: August 16, 2020, 05:10:24 AM
Before you play online poker, you need to learn about playing poker, and you can play offline poker. If you can learn poker until you understand how to play poker better, you can try to play online poker because when you play online poker, I think you will play with someone who has skills in poker.
Your chance to win will not be bigger if you don't learn about poker to get lost many times.
By learning offline poker, you can also learn how to make a strategy that you can use when you play online poker. That will help you to play better in online poker.

Traderethereum he needs to learn more about poker, to practice playing poker and that can increase his chances for winning.
And it's the process, learning and practicing, there aren't strategies that can be a key for winning. Only knowledge obtained
trough playing will make someone experienced and more skilled. One goes with another, and with a bit of luck maybe OP can
manage to make some profit with playing poker.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 15, 2020, 11:00:24 PM
This 99% only happens to people who are new to crypto because for people who already know about crypto would never do such a ridiculous act. Most new people will think that crypto is a place to get rich in a nutshell

I agree with you Karmat, people get wrong ideas about crypto-currencies. They think it's an easy to get rich and they
trust in huge promises. Most of the people who get scammed don't do any research before they invest money, they just
think about the profit they can make, but in the end all that happens is they stay without their investment. After that
they start learning, when it's too late and money is gone.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 15, 2020, 06:47:36 PM
I would hold it for a long-term, as I hold my Ethereums. It would be just +1 on my amount in my wallet, waiting for the
far future and possible very high price.
It would be a great feeling to have +1 ETH without needing to work for it, or to gamble with what you have.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) Coin Future Price ? on: August 15, 2020, 09:58:47 AM
a very appropriate designation for the future TRON coin, TRON there is always big news and high volume in any market besides that, there are high enthusiasts of TRON but I doubt if TRON can pump high because TRON has such a large total supply unless the TRON team is willing to burn some of TRON

They know how to get needed attention, and slowly they are growing and having more and more people using it. It's fast, it's cheap,
and it's one of the things that makes Tron network great for developers and users.
Justin Sun knows what he needs to do, but he is the main figure and that makes Tron centralized, and that's what many people don't
like. We will see what will future bring for Tron and us Tron holders!
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: August 15, 2020, 07:40:43 AM
I guess you missed out on LEDU. It is one of the most underated projects in the blockchain industry now.
https://ledu.education-ecosystem.com/blog/education-ecosystem-adds-new-projects-in-response/ This news says a lot for a keen investor.

I missed LEDU, it's the first time I hear about it. What I find interesting here is education ecosystem, I see a several new project
that have a focus on education and learning, and I think there is something in that. There will be a big need for platforms like this
in the future, where anyone can learn everything they wish to know on one place.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best deFI tokens out there on: August 14, 2020, 05:19:02 PM
-Reminder: you do NOT have to participate in "the latest hot defi thing" to be in ethereum. In fact, unless you *really* understand what's going on, it's likely best to sit out or participate only with very small amounts.

There are many other kinds of ETH dapps, explore them!
Source of tweet: https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1294183084640759815

One of the best tweets I have seen in a while! It's really like that! People become to hyped about DeFi and I already saw
some DeFi like Yam that had incredible rise and then drop! It's time when you need to be careful with DeFi's. Too many of them,
and with certainty we can say not all of them will be great all of them.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves created token how good is it on: August 14, 2020, 01:39:27 PM
Is it still good to create a token in Waves I just created a token in Waves platform as an incentive to the forum that I am going to relaunch, I created Ethereum token in the past but with the very high fee and lag in the confirmation it's not recommended, I am down to Tron and Waves,
anyone here already created a token in Waves I am testing it so far the fee is very low and the transaction is very fast.
Creating token via Waves platform is kind of easy: https://blocksdecoded.com/create-cryptocurrency-using-waves-platform/ Im not really that familiar on the differences about confirmation time and fees though.
Have you tried on creating tokens on both platforms? You can eventually spot out the difference whe it comes to fees and transaction speed.

I haven't even seen a token success below the average Waves platform, many failures and no interest in the blockchain. Now the Ethereum and Tron blockchauns are being targeted a lot.
Even today, many projects that use the Tron blockchain are in the DeFi trend and this success is quite good and lots of tron fans are interested.
This is true and which signifies that TRON platform is much more capable of.Im not saying that Waves is bad but there would be always a thing thats ahead to another. DeFi is getting some attention and same
goes of ETH which would be having soon that 2.0.

Tron has a better marketing, they are more present on all social networks than others. Their DeFi project JUST is everywhere,
and everything they do with just, new listining, new AMA and all other things, they cover that from all sides, it's really hard to miss
them.
I like Waves as a project, I lend them and I receive some tokens from that, even after a long time they don't worth much. I agree
that Tron is more attractive in many ways.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project Vitalik! on: August 14, 2020, 11:56:08 AM
One of his tweets from today: https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1294183084640759815
Good job Ethereum, we waited for this to happen! Ethereum over $400! And this is maybe a top for this rise, or it can go to $500!?
I don't know, but what I know is that I am waiting for Ethereum to break last ATH and make some new records! This good times give
me confidence that it's coming, I am patient!
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will likely see a sharp increase then decrease in price on: August 14, 2020, 08:38:26 AM
This is not quite true. Yes, we had increase although not that sharp and then decrease but a light one I would say. Now it seems that we have some semi stable situation but that can easily change and to my opinion further corrections are possible although I don't expect to see some big drop. The price might touch 12000$ but to my opinion it will not cross that line so.soon.

Bitbunnny you are right when you say that situation can easily change. It's something we need to be ready for in crypto-currencies.
You are here longer than me, and you see more changes than I did, and I seen a lot of them. The prices are going up and down, coins
replace each other.
One big change from these days is Link price surging and overtaking Bitcoin cash as the 5th largest crypto-currency by market cap.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the new crypto scam hiding in wait? on: August 14, 2020, 05:21:22 AM
Expect more defi related scams in a few months.
The hype is too fast, more investors are biting the bait, taking another risks. And this reminds me of previous old projects that ended up scam like ICO, IEO, etc.
DEFI industry is booming, the rapid growth of this new project is something we should not trust easily. Certainly those defi uniswap which reportedly been used definitely as a scam by using fake tokens.

Maxreish you are right, we must be prepared for some DeFi related scams. It's what scammers do, they use any kind of hype to
lure people into their scam project. Like you I am sure we will see some big scam soon, people are investing in anything that has
DeFi tag, without researching, thinking, they just think about the profit. Now people should be careful where they invest and what
they hold!
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: losing $90 in Medicalchain Coin on: August 13, 2020, 04:15:38 PM
Dears,

What I have to do am losing about $90 in Medicalchain Coin

and It's price no is about less $1

do u expect to raise or not ?

People have a reason to dump this coin eventhiough there is a good volume if you are an early investor you are losing a lot here, here is the ROI stat of their early investor Medicalchain ROI Beta   -98.3%.
If you are still holding you will have a very long wait for the coin to recover or you can opt to sell it and buy coins that has potential now but make your decision based on what you learned from investing in Medicalchain coin.

If we wish to be honest we would say that some coins will never recover. Truth is that everyone here have some coins that's going
down in price, but we still hold it, even we lost hope it will recover deep inside.
I don't know a lot about Medicalchain! What I know that nobody should allow others to tell them in what someone needs to believe in.
It should be your own choice in which projects you will have faith in long-term.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) Coin Future Price ? on: August 13, 2020, 03:21:48 PM
TRON is indeed very suitable for long-term investment because TRON updates always look good, I also save some TRON for the long term although not expecting a high rise because TRON has a large total supply

Justin Sun made a Tweet today about how cheaper transactions are on Tron and how faster they are, and you know what? He is right,
fees for sending Ethereum and tokens are very high. I wanted to send $10 of one token and fee for that was $17!!! Is that possible? I
see many others complaining and if they don't do something about this fees people will turn to cheaper solutions!
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: August 13, 2020, 11:39:22 AM
I think that TikTok has nothing with crypto-currencies, people are the ones who use social networks to share their interests, and
we can see crypto-currency enthusiasts everywhere. More people in crypto-currencies, more about them we will see everywhere we
go on the internet. It's a good thing for all of us, it's advertising in some way and that will attract more people.
If you have read carefully, OP wasn't associating TikTok with cryptocurrencies but just explained that the last hype for Dogecoin was made of TikTok famous celebrities. It's another social media where crypto enthusiasts send message to the world.

And as for Dogecoin it was a perfect and effective hit. But there's the bad news that has been revolving for TikTok, huge countries have started to ban it.

I read the topic carefully, but the headline is referring about TikTok like it's some new platform for promoting crypto-currencies.
But they are something different, as I said just some random people sharing their interest about crypto-currencies.
Sadly I read about banning TikTok in US, and some other countries. I am not sure that I understand what is the background of this,
why they are banning it? Do you have any clues?
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: August 13, 2020, 08:01:05 AM
I don't really think that we would be seeing any new ATH in this year.
I think the highest that we could get would be around $15-17K  and we should really be happy when we reach it for me it would be a huge achievement in crypto again.

Current barrier is at 12k levels and after crossing we can see it at 13k levels too. But yes 2020 will it be ATH is difficult to say though we should be seeing anywhere near 15k would be a real big thing as in a year’s timer it would have given very significant profits and should get stable 15k upwards.

I don't believe that Bitcoin will reach new ATH this year as well. I think we can be happy with the current price, it's over $11k and
it's holding good. Little higher price, and we can be satisfied with Bitcoin performance for this year. It's good to open the next year
with some higher price, many of us here on forum expect a lot from next year.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: August 13, 2020, 05:53:14 AM
I think that slots are way better than dice because of their payout structure. Lets say you are hunting 99x in dice, in this hunt you will not get paid if you hit 98x. But in slots things are different and you will get paid for every hit though you are aiming for jackpot.
I know that most of the slots pay like 80-92% of what goes into slots but still if you compare it with dice (specially hit and run method) it is more profitable in long run (although in long run you will eventually loose in both games because of house edge)
I want you to ponder upon this and please tell me how much I am right in this line of reasoning.
How come it become profitable? you can lose on both games also in my experience in slots you needed a lot of money to hit a jackpot unlike the dice game you don't need to wait for a jackpot you can gain some small amount from winning and you can use strategy like martingale unlike slots there are different winnings depends on the patterns. Not really fan of slots.

Andycarrol you are right, we lose on both games. What's interesting is that we really need more money for playing slots than
dices. With my deposits I have for a few spins, while I can play dices for a lot longer. It's true that slots can be more profitable, but
if slots can be more profitable it means that on slots there can be more loses! I am not fan of slots either, becasue they are really
expensive to play.
220  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: August 12, 2020, 08:23:03 PM
I will agree with the headline! It's not hard to understand what OP is talking about if you are involved with crypto-currencies.
It's like that for me, everything I know about decentralized governance I learned right here in crypto-currencies.
I lost faith in centralized organizations. They had time to develop and look where are we now? I think that global economic
a situation doesn't look good, we need something better. Is that decentralization? I believe it is, it offers so much, and it can bring
a fair economic system available to all people at all times.
