201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Believe That It's A Fix on: September 28, 2019, 03:48:35 PM
Oh boy! We can't tell if that guy really gave you a tip or just like a wolf hiding in sheep's skin Huh. Hmm, If I were be on that situation then probably I'll choose to not bet anymore simply because worse regrets might feel once you lose. If you listen and you lose then you will even blame yourself for trusting that guy; on the other hand, you will also feel so much regret for not listening to him if he is right. It was such a pain in the butt to think those kind of things, I really hate overthinking. So what would I do is to postpone my bet and do it next time.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can more ATM's increase adoption for Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2019, 12:34:13 PM
We know consumers love ATM's and the convenience. Would you buy Bitcoin at ATM or nah?
You know what, I would really love to if I only I have the chance but since I am living far from Makati, Philippines where you can find one of the bitcoin ATMs here in our country then I can't. Well, there's a good news for us tho, I'm looking forward to Unionbank launching more btc ATMs aalomg its branches nationwide for us to have a chance to feel the futuristic living Smiley.

The only problem I anticipate on the first time we will use such kind of machine is on how to operate it by our own but I think it wouldn't be so hard for us because I might say that crypto holders are computer literates already. It's not a big deal, we can surely adapt.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: How long can you endure? on: September 28, 2019, 10:47:32 AM
with the view of things, the bear persists, there is a lenght to which everyone can persevere in tough time. how long can you endure the bear?
Hmm, I don't know either. I'm not letting this thing stress me out, I just continue hodling. Right now I considered myself lucky because I don't need huge money thus I don't feel the pressure of bear market so far. Sorry if I can't give an exact answer for your question becaus I can't relate Grin. Anyway, if I assume that I need money right now then probably I'll just withraw the amount I needed I let the rest remain on my wallet hoping the price will rise soon.
204  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Yobit / CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] managed by yahoo62278 on: September 28, 2019, 09:49:20 AM

[snip]

Ouch!

Guys I look on the members list kasi parang may pamilyar na pangalan sa akin l. So I checked it and and unfortunately tama hinala ko, may na ban galing sa board natin. Siya si zupdawg Sad.
205  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Yobit / CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] managed by yahoo62278 on: September 28, 2019, 06:53:44 AM
Ano masasabi nyu dito, hindi na ba mainit ang mata ng mga tao sa yobit?
Mainit in a sense na marami na namang gustong sumali dito dahil sa mataas na reward (I do belong) pero I have less worries now compared before dahil under na ito sa management ni yahoo62278. I expected na marami pa rin ang sasali dito pero sure ako na konti lang ang tatagal. We all knew that very strict si yahoo against spammers/shitposters thus yobit campaign's participants will greatly reduced, tanging mga good quality posters lang ang matitira. Well, okay na din ang ganitong set up para 'di na rin tayo mawarningan ni theymos.

Tama, 20 max post per day? Kung 3 post per hour so lumalabas na 7 or 8 hours per day? (kung tama ang math ko hehehe). So parang ang hirap unless na wala ka ng ibang work talaga. Mahirap din sa utak yan ah.  Grin.
Good luck sa atin guys, keep safe.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fiat-to-crypto: is it safe? on: September 28, 2019, 05:22:18 AM
Aren't they selling my private info (that would explain 0,25$ fee on changelly for example), and doesn't that conflicts with the statement about my anonymity?
Mate that's only a KYC requirement, don't be paranoid at a sudden. By the way, are you using social medias like FB and others? If yes then that should be the one you suspected for selling your private info first and foremost. Why feel threatened on using exchanges which only ask for fee details but not on those risky social media sites where you can post almost all of your daily routines?

Anyway, though I don't use exchanges since I'm only buying coins into my wallet I still say that using legit ones are safe. I say so because I haven't heard complaints from my colleagues so far regarding privacy issues. Smiley
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fell again, what conspiracy? on: September 28, 2019, 04:00:24 AM
Every time btc's price fall it doesn't necessarily mean that there is a big thing behind it. C'mon guys, it's normal. If you think that market seems got a little bit steep downfall recently then it's maybe because of the elite whales, who knows? Don't believe so easily from those rumors/conspiracies/talksh*ts or whatever your term for it simply because their uncertainties — they are not considered as pure facts. Remember that not all of these news (even the good ones of course) could be manifested on the market.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of alts you hodl on: July 21, 2019, 02:03:34 AM
Most of these projects just die after the initial hype.
Yes, indeed. My perspective on alts right now is pretty negative, for me they are just intended to be made for "pump and dump" purposes. They can't sustain in the long run and die later on simply because people are only up to its price not the vision of the coin itself. That's why I advice some of you especially the beginners to avoid alts as much as possible. Just stick with btc or at least those outstanding alts in the market.

210  Economy / Reputation / Re: Stake.com Signature Campaign - A new kind of future on: June 14, 2019, 10:03:00 AM
What changes have been made? Official campaign member list?

Last week's pay rate - $3, $2, $1, $0.50 per 10 posts (rank based)
Current pay rate - $11 per 10 posts (all ranks)
Hmm, for me that's a lot better compare to the previous pay rates. At least the participants will now become more motivated to create quality posts because of the reward increase.
Last week's total members - 125
Current total members - 27
There will be a two sides of the story regarding this matter. The 27 who got chosen will be glad of course but on the other hand the remaining which are all eliminanted will surely felt bad after reading this news (including me as well). Honestly, I'm worrying a little bit because there's a tendency for you to get bashed by members you removed so prepare for it and I hope you can handle them in all peace. Don't get me wrong, I'm not scaring you I'm just saying the upcoming possible scenarios.
Last week's total posts - 1521
Current total posts - A lot less
That's because of the lower ranked members you hired. As we look on the previous spreadsheet (why I can't gind it any longer?) most of them wasn't able to make even a single post. I don't exactly know the reason behind that but that's the sad truth.
Last week's paid post limit - ∞
Current paid post limit - 30 (10 per day)

Last week's min character count - 25
Current character count - 100
That was I great move because you are now complying to a typical signature campaign rules Smiley. I foresee that from now on this campaign will be more less toxic simply because participants are no longer pressured of creating tons of posts for the sake of increasing the reward they could get. This means less spams and shitposts.

Official campaign members list

Let me know what you think and if I missed anything from being awake this long I'll then fix it when I wake up
Honestly I am very sad that my name wasn't on the list. Yeah! I'm aware of my lapses as your participant but it wasn't my intention at all. Sorry if I only made 5 posts last week, I already told you my reason but let me repeat it for the rest to know. It happened because I got sick that's why I don't have the energy to make greater number of posts (in which you understand, thanks) and for that I'm really sorry. I'm not saying this to make an excuse I'm just stating my own side to clear once and for all that I'm not a spammer, a shitposter or a member with poor attitude. I hope you will give me a chance once again to prove you that I'm also deserving to become part of your campaign.

This post is a proof that I'm not a shitposter. I consider this post as a quality post. I know it is not so technical/geeky like we can see in the Technical Discussions Section but at least this is not a shitty post. If you still demand a post with even more quality then I will gladly give you one with as much as I can. I hope you will consider me again, thanks Smiley.
211  Local / India / Re: Indian Government Backed Program to offer Crypto and Blockchain Course on: June 14, 2019, 12:22:23 AM
STOP SAYING THEY BANNED BITCOIN IN INDIA THEY DIDN'T!! One person drew up a proposition to create a law.
He is right! It is not yet a law but a bill instead entitled  Banning of Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill 2019. That's why India can still freely offer courses about blockchain technology. How ironic, isn't it? There's nothing wrong about it however hey should first make sure that such bill have a greater chance for to get dumped because it will only become a waste of time for them making efforts for crypto adoption but lead them on violating a law in the future.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worlds first Crypto-Postagestamps issued! on: June 13, 2019, 05:38:39 AM
Honestly it was cool because at least crypto are now getting more attention from the Austrian community. On the other hand, I think post stamps are not so important anymore because there are already social medias and SMS for sending messages to anyone. But ig we will look on the brighter side of it, this is could be a good memorabilia so I'm sure that collectors aout there are now rushing to get this one Smiley.
As stamps collector https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1915529.msg19001071#msg19001071 and bitcoin/blockchain passionate, I have just placed my order.
Despite I am not a collector of new editions (or Austrian stamps), I think this is a kind of object that deserve to be collected!
Thanks for share!
I've seen one already Smiley.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Playoffs Prediction Pool(REGISTRATION CLOSED) on: June 11, 2019, 02:17:56 AM
Durant will not finish the game now, might have reinjured himself again, so most likely series will end tonight.
That was a bad move by Durant, might affect his off season price with this injury again.
I totally agree to you but well we can't blame him or the management if they allow KD to play because it's already an all or nothing situation for them. They should now give their best shot despite of all risks that could happen.

But IMHO, Warriors will not even win today's game not only because of the homecourt disadvantage but also because some of their star players are not in their 100%. Advance congtats for Raptors Grin (I might be wrong tho).
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposed new law to jail Bitcoin holders, miners and sellers in India??? on: June 09, 2019, 02:55:29 AM
I saw the headline of this news recently and it is quite alarming because this is a big loss for us aiming of mass crypto adoption. A 10 year imprisonment is totally not a joke so sad to say but I guess this is now the end of crypto for Indians Sad.
In my own opinion, these lawmakers are just plain stupid and are one-sided idiots. They’re focusing on the bad side of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies rather than looking on the real use cases and benefits of it.
Mate we are not in the right position to say that because we really don't know their struggles. If a certain government find somethong threatening for their countrymen and economy as a whole then of course there's a tendency for them to take precautionary actions against it. I'm sure that all they want is the best for their country, don't get them wrong Smiley.
C’mon you lawmaker morons, money laundering has been around for a long time before Bitcoin was born, and you guys ruled out that owning cryptocurrencies is a crime?
Maybe they just don't want to let such crimes spread faster in more even worse way (since we all know that crypto offers anonymity). Actually, there would be no problem at all if all people are purely good but since it's not then it's understandable to pass that law. You can't make exemptions, law is for each of everyone whether you are good or bad.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin have FUNDAMENTALS?!?! on: June 08, 2019, 01:50:47 PM
Now, looking at the current price of bitcoin, do you think it can still safe to enter the bitcoin mania or not anymore?
In my opinion, it is still a big YES for me. Why? Simply because btc is not yet skyrocketing to the moon. As we look on the lates update on btc's price, it is now currently heading to $8k mark. It is not even the half of the ATH that we reached last year. But still, depends on your perspective and gut feel. If you now feel threatened then much better for you to back out as soon as possible.

There are only two fundamentals that I always apply:
1) Invest what you can afford to lose, and
2) Buy low, sell high.

By doing this two, I already feel safe and relieved Smiley.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ,Gold and the global market collapse on: June 08, 2019, 06:19:52 AM
Hmm, so the Gold is now growing and btc continuously drops. That's very hurtful to know but let's admit the truth, I thought btc can now exceed the $10k mark but we can see in the market trend that we're not yet there Sad. So disappointing.
Quote
According to eToro analyst Mati Greenspan, Gold is “skyrocketing” and close to reaching “multi-year highs.” Meanwhile, Bitcoin, has struggled to maintain its price at $8,000 after being rejected at $9,000, and is currently trading at $7,600.
But anyway, I've already seen such kind of dips and actually even worse than this (remember the bloodbath after China's banning of ICOs?) so it doesn't scare me any longer. I 100% believe that btc can and will bounce back for the good of all of us.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i start a game here in the forum? on: June 08, 2019, 02:19:34 AM
I want to know if this is possible here in btc forum or not. And if anyone can suggest more ideas on how to realize this.
That's possible. Actually, I've already seen couple of games/bettting games conducted here inside our forum particularly on our local board (e.g. Senatorial Elecetion Betting Game). But remember, the prize for the winners is your responsibility of course but you could at least implement a fee for entry and use it for the prize pool. Well, it's up to you any more.

Good luck for the game you plan about your turtles. Honestly, I can't understand what you really mean by that one.
Sorry for the bad english.
That's okay, keep on practicing Smiley. You will make it!
218  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 08, 2019, 01:24:08 AM
My answer doesn't suit to any options available in yout poll but anyway here is my number 1 reason why I love crypto. It's because of its VALUE. Yeah! I also like its capabilities of anonymity and others but this one is the major reason I like, I'm sure everybody does too.

But if we disregarding that because it's pretty obvious that it drives all the people here to engage in cryptosphere, the second thing I really like about it is it provides faster ttansactions. Imagine, I can now have a prepaid load just one click away Grin. When I'm buying prepaid load before I used to walk on the nearest convenience store and avail it but now all I need is my digital wallet, paste my phone number and Voila! I have now prepaid load + a 10% rebate from its price.

Fucking campaign manager! Fucking payrate!.
Leave!
Dude, chill. If you really hate this campaign then just ignore and leave, as simple as that. Using bad words is not necessarily because this is a decent forum in the first place and not a social media platform where you can say whatever you want to say.
