2001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Position Size on: August 24, 2021, 08:03:30 AM
An informative post indeed, i'm a day trader and still getting profit but one problem i had have since many time due to which i had loss many of my profits just because of my greed, whenever there is a chance of getting more money i had performed greed and had loss most of my money in this way whether in futures or in other trading, which is quite a bad habit.

The greatest advantage of a day trader is to identify your mistake by yourself and that will make you try to do the right thing the next time. As always greed is a very bad eater of your balance, you can profit on greed but if it turns against you, it is likely taking you far back to your beginning. Keep to the corrections you have made, your emotions have to be on check not to be tempted.
2002  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things I wish I knew before starting my day trading journey on: August 22, 2021, 08:35:56 PM
You did a good post on your experience and some of your points and solutions you make are good for others to follow but my advise to you is still on your emotions. Don't lose grabs of your emotions when you think you have started making consistent profit. If you lose grabs, you can go back to the beginning because the market isn't friendly. Again too that you are still young in trading. If you have less than two years experience, you still need more experience to be better and stay with your plans if it is working. Good luck for you as you trade.
2003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: August 22, 2021, 07:23:33 PM

The market is not friendly but one can utilize their power when they see opportunity to buy more or sell more provided by the market volatility.

Yes the market isn't friendly to any trader which is why we need to be careful. Taking opportunity doesn't mean that we have to throw all our money into the market because we think the opportunity is ripe but it might change at the long run , the reason we need to use our stop lose and this is very important.to do
2004  Economy / Economics / Re: How to identify high-quality projects in the primary market? on: August 22, 2021, 06:01:07 PM
In my opinion, any project today is almost a scam project, accounting for the majority of good projects, only about 1% of the market today, if 100 projects are released every month, there are only about 1 or 2 projects. The real growth is left when they spend some money to attract buyers as well as a small amount for liquidity and then they disappear forever with investors embracing junk coins, it's really hard to judge a high quality project all like a gamble , you red you win you black you lose everything.

No I won't agree totally that every project is scam because I have benefited from some that are cool, maybe few are though. Joining a good project is luck and that is it. You can also study the people around the project, exchange taking up the project. Overall you need some real research to invest and not just investing because others are done so.
2005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I'd prefer to be forex trader of my own on: August 22, 2021, 04:04:32 PM

I don't know there foundation if they are legit, anything can happen.

The foundation being legit is not even the challenge but actually the real business of doing the trade and making profit for you, forex trade is not easy and that is the fact. Not every FX trader make profit and they go into business of pretending to being experts and they advertise for people to give them their money. You fall for this people because of laziness to learn or lack of interest to the business but want to enjoy the money in it.

Back sometime ago , I think there was a body that was responsible to backlist some forex companies that were scamming traders who register with them. You don't get to know they are fake and scammers until you make profit but can't withdraw your money. A body was responsible on that, I think if a remember it was called "forexpeace army".
2006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: August 22, 2021, 01:56:28 PM
You have exposed your child rightly to have an independent source of income from an early stage, this is an advantage to you and your family because your family will grow in it and will master it even better than you because kids have a way to create, innovate and be better with technology. Your kid understand this little because you have not hidden it away from the kid and is a lesson to learn. Trading is a source of income even if you have a government job, it can sustain you before you receive your monthly salary which may even be smaller than your profit in trade.
2007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: August 22, 2021, 01:08:13 PM
The balance of $15,000 can give you more than you are estimating for the month. The profit of $5,000 is easy to achieve even before the month ends and how it can be easier is to trade in highly volatile coins like bitcoin. Bitcoin was around $29,000 the past one month and now above $49,000. The calculation of the difference of $49,000 - $29,000 is $20,000 , this is really big as you can see for a month.

The above analysis is if you just bought and hodl, you would have made like $20,000 without trading at all, just with your investment resting on your wallet or exchange. Therefore, if you do trading and you understand how to enter in the right time and exit time too you can keep smiling all the time with profit above $5,000.

The issue is to do the right kind of trade decision. Hodling and trading at the right time is a good way to good profit.

2009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things to know before trading. on: August 21, 2021, 04:58:35 PM

2. Risk management: You must work on your risk/reward ratio, know how much you must invest in a coin, and only invest what you can afford to lose. If you are trading futures, always use a low laverage and don't forget to use a stop loss.

At every trading time, our stop loss is encouraged for us to use and if you don't apply it, you can not stay in the market for long before you make your huge mistake. We need not to trade with stoploss because that is the real money management that I know. Looking only at leverage and exposing the stoploss is not money management.

2011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which was your worst crypto trading decision? on: August 21, 2021, 11:54:01 AM
If you buy a coin to hodl for long without doing proper research on it, you can have big regret. This is an incident I keep remembering, I bought a token that had been due to be deregister and I got stocked with it because no other exchange can I sell it  Grin I just lost the hard earn money just like that. I'm more careful now in my investment and confirms a coin is in good exchange before buying.
2012  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the nature of currency? on: August 20, 2021, 04:45:12 PM
Money is an object that is agreed upon by its users as (means of exchange), even if it is made of a piece of stone or wood.

Likewise with the presence of bitcoin which is predicted to be a currency (means of exchange) and will be accepted throughout the world if an agreement is born to use it.

So for now about bitcoin, it is still an issue to have that kind of acceptance that Fiat money has. I think that is the nature of money that every country creates an acceptability for their own currency and bitcoin's nature is that it is decentralized and uncontrollable unlike Fiat legal tender.

To build Bit Civilization, we must establish a new human order centered on Bitcoin, which is not limited to the currency field but for all aspects of human civilization. What do you think?

I see you are making a long thread that is looking boring for contribution but reacting to the above about new world order in btc civilization, I don't expect that it will be a consensus effort. If this will happen, it will take a natural process and not humans organising and agreeing on it in a round table discussion, conference or treaty requiring appending of signature, no. The financial system is going to revolutionize itself.

Example with the world order that the US have been pointed to be the carrier has been problematic even yet as China is battling with trade war with America and different countries in east developing nuclear weapon and that world order has not been successful.

Going back to btc civilization as your topic, it must be a natural process and not by agreement. We remember in 2020 how covid-19 took the world into a new normal, from quarantine that is still going on , wearing of face mask, working from home, vaccination etc and the biggest of all, a new and emerging financial system that is blowing up the internet, that is cryptocurrency. This is now having effect on countries trying to chase the tides of cryptocurrency through their digital currency. It was natural from covid-19 pandemic.
2014  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing about communism: The real cause of hyperinflation in Venezuela on: August 20, 2021, 11:04:21 AM
They don't have communism in Venezuela, they have socialism I think which is a bit different from communism. Their economic development wasn't put in the right place, they didn't invest in infrastructure but instead the individuals prosperity and they only have one way to make money back then which is their big oil reserves which got destroyed when the price of oil tanked.

Quote
Their economic development wasn't put in the right place

I believe that when you have leaders who have self interest it drives the economy to the left. Venezuela has large oil reserves and that took away the focus of the leaders and they got corrupt to embezzle public money. Oil is a big business for Venezuela but when OPEC don't make oil more lucrative, it affects countries that depends on oil. Like there are other means to avoid the use of oil and countries are changing and diversifying which they are yet to do but they still rely on oil on a large scale.

Again Venezuela has faced some sanctions too.

2015  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who's been buying recently? on: August 19, 2021, 08:19:29 PM
Of course they come to the market when it is down even now the correction has started but do they dare to buy now and hold it but if they still believe in an increase to the $50k figure of course they are ready now and usually before this happens the price will definitely strengthen again so that every investor will definitely take their best step at that time.

At this stage with sideways trading going on for months, and BTC creeping upwards after the flash crash post ATH, it would be crazy for buyers not to continue buying, as the new ATH is looking on the horizon. Even if BTC does end up not rallying further, it's never going back to 20k again. Still a 50% loss at max bottom in the coming 2 to 3 years.

A buying now may be a right time, this is not for investing information but the ranging is gradually increasing upwards. Today and this evening, the price jumped a little and now back to close $47,000 it is like a bullish sign. When price jump sometimes it is for the near bullish season that happened also in 2017 and 2020 during the covid-19 before the ATH.
2016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 19, 2021, 04:59:50 PM

They say it will be disrespectful if they are treated in any other way...

So what do you guys and gals think..... ?

I think it will be dehumanizing if they are rather treated differently from the other alteletes. Showing them on public is even a good think which is going to expose them to government , philanthropies and charity helpers to do more support for them and better their personal life after the games because after the sports and they return home, some don't live a good life and are abandoned but just remembered because of the game and feeding them in to participate and win medals for the government. I support that anything that will be done for the public to know about them is good and placing bet on them as other sporting activities is not a bad thing to do.
2017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Futures - Leveraging Risks on: August 19, 2021, 02:24:01 PM

Which means I would OWE $200, and will have to pay that unless I want legal action taken against me.

Please correct me if I am wrong as I would love to hear that.

No I think you are not correct about your explanation. First online trading is not a physical interphase trading that you see your buyer or seller standing right in your front that you can explain a spoilt product to. As far about online, everything is done there and that is the pattern. For leverage and trading, you can owe the broker but you are supported of funds online there in your platform to have more trading opportunity and diversification but if the leverage seem to be at risk from your lose, the leverage is deducted at some point and allow you to take the risk alone which affects your pocket.
2018  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you be able to take an additional work if required? on: August 19, 2021, 12:28:25 PM
Unfortunately, from a position (geographical and financial), I am forced to take sporadic additional jobs, sometimes in crypto, sometimes outside of it, but there is always something going around. And it's not because I want to, it's just the way it is. But, crypto made it easier to get some additional income. But, who knows how long that will last.

You are responding like the type that has no passion for cryptocurrency, like it was chance and hard times that pushed in for it. Actually most traders find it that way like you but have moved more inside of it to embrace it by learning more of it. If you don't have passion for trading, you will run up for copy trading.
2019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mobile phone vs. laptop vs. tab...what's your preferred device for day trading? on: August 18, 2021, 10:48:44 PM
You can use a mobile phone as much as you can use a laptop, tab or desktop computer. Finding your way around daily trading is not a difficult task when it comes to the use of these gadgets. But mobile phones is more preferable anyways. The ease of being able to carry it around and not having to seat before a desktop all day. It's mobile.
Add it could access the apps and Web apps you use for trading as you'd access them on a desktop or tab.

I strongly believe that mobile phones give more convenience and comfort in trading especially the experienced traders, yes the newbies will definitely find it to be difficult starting up with trading on phones because they can never understand or enjoy it. An experienced trader finds more comfort with it and that is the area I'm pointing.

I checked online to see certain phones that are good for mobile trading and more are upgrading. Trading has gone mobile and phone companies are upgrading to same level of manufacturing high tech photos with large screen space too.
2020  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and entertainment. on: August 18, 2021, 06:13:24 PM
I relate with that you are saying with example like BnB. Far back in 3 years ago binance was not popular exchange but recently it has become a very popular exchange and that has hype the coin, BnB very fast than we expect and the CEO kept developing the platform. Currently binance is doing an identity verification that ended yesterday 17th August. This identify verification that is tightening withdrawal and deposit into binance is further bringing it limelight about how secured it is to hodl your coins. Although that I have my own reservation on it about regulating withdrawal and deposit but it is putting binance on the public because of the news it will generate. Therefore, if bitcoin and cryptocurrency have such public gigs, it can get more adoption. adoption is the bigger news that the public and ethusiast expect.
