I wanted to like it initially, but saw a lot of people (or one loud person?) acting like a complete obnoxious asshole, posting childish FUD all over the forum. I suppose I shouldn't assume this was a founding member of DGC, but it might well be. Kind of turned me off the coin.

What do you thin about eMulah (EMU)? See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=220530.0

Seems to be the first (?) altcoint that is not just a bitcoin-clone.

By the name, I assume it is an effort by devs associated with eMule, which is a good thing if true since they will have a lot of experience with P2P and security, and a ready-made community. The protocol certainly sounds interesting, although I have questions about the resilience to certain kind of attacks.

~4 Mh/s for scrypt mining.

I'm gonna say worldcoin, mostly because it seems to have accrued significant hashing momentum and goodwill, which will propel it onto one of the exchanges. Choice of name is good for broad appeal. Superficial things like that can really matter for the success of a coin.
2005  Other / Beginners & Help / Information sources for trading bots -- apis, scraping, etc. on: May 19, 2013, 12:11:56 PM
What sources of information would be useful to a trading bot on BTC-e? The ticker API seems a bit limited in terms of the information it supplies. Are there other more detailed tickers available? Has anyone put together code to scrape the BTC-e pages?

I'm trying to work out which altcoin to invest my kh/s in. It seems Goldcoin is run by a bunch of arrogant teenagers looking for quick profit. Worldcoin seems to have potential but there's no guarantee it'll be traded on any major exchanges. So I'm thinking either BQC or LTC. What other promising coins are out there?
