2001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: November 19, 2021, 09:03:39 PM
This topic have taken the center stage of my thought we have seen how countries around the world are gradually opening the economy to adopt bitcoin and as a result a lot of government policies are already underway to develop a framework that allow regulation of the bitcoin ecosystem which have made me to wonder on this topic. Can a decentralized currency like bitcoin ever get regulated?
I have also been having this same thought, and so far I don’t think that it would be possible for the government to be able to directly regulate bitcoin. The only thing that they have been doing is to regulate the centralized exchanges.

Centralized exchanges are like the tool for them to regulate cryptocurrency, and when you’re making use of exchanges like which are centralized, like Coinbase, they will be able to know what you’re doing with this cryptocurrency. And that’s because these exchanges will request info from you such as name, ID, photo, address, etc. And these information that are being gathered by these exchanges can be used by the government at anytime.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about the new alts? on: November 19, 2021, 08:37:19 PM
Never do that kind of mistake with your hard and money. Because, in long run you cannot predict about any individual or team based projects. Most of the teams of dev will forget or switch over to some other new project by abandoning their existing projects. So, always plan of only for short term for all kind of altcoin investment.

Instead of looking for new project in altcoin in industry, you may go with ethereum and bnb coins blindly because they got at least some assurance to get you minimum good profits in long run.
That must be a practical approach because we are having lots of options in altcoin industry and also we need to invest against lot of scammers who are all well experienced in making their fake project to look like a real one. So, instead of risking with unknown things I agree it will be a good suggestion to go with existing and known altcoins. Moreover, all crypto investors must consider for investing with bitcoin in more percentage and only after that they should think about investing with altcoins.
2003  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: November 19, 2021, 08:12:32 PM
A recent situation in my country where the banks have been instructed to block accounts related/associated with crypto trading has prompted me to start thinking if these banks are actually happy carrying out government policies against their customers, because some of them seem not too happy about it but look to have little or no choice on the matter.

Can the banks challenge the policies from the government? Are the banks working for the people or the government? is there any possibility that banks can operate freely entirely from government policies?
The banks serves the people, but even at that they still have to take orders from the government and they have no choice in a situation like this. If the government should instruct them to close the bank accounts of users who are trading cryptocurrencies, then they are going to do that.

But, I think it is up to you as a crypto trader to be careful how you trade and use cryptocurrency so that they wouldn’t be able to find out. Because for them to be able to find, you must have done something that would lead to them finding out. If you’re simply making use of peer-to-peer methods/decentralized exchanges, then they wouldn’t find out that you’re trading crypto. You have to learn to keep your tracks clean.

Don't forget with such VIP Club you can get better Monthly Bonueses Wink
I am not saying the bonuses at PD are low or bad compared to other casinos, but to be honest, I wagered a lot at stake and I got not just great reloads, better monthly and weekly bonuses but also got a top player's bonus which was awesome. I am saying this here because I know both sites are owned by same person or team so I really hope you consider improving PD bonuses somehow.

By the way any plans on adding USDT in the near future? I really want to bet with a stable currency because these crypto ups and downs are a bit too much for me to handle.
2005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 18, 2021, 09:20:52 PM
Another loss for Lakers, things are not looking great at all. I get that Lebron is missing and Lebron is by far their best player no matter how old he is, but they built a team around Lebron that keeps on losing once again. Meaning if Lebron left the team today then Lakers will become a bad team once again. This is why I believe that we should not be considering Lakers to be a bad team like that right now and should pressure them or at least expect them to be better even without Lebron.

Otherwise this is another team Lebron carried for a ring if it ever happens and at this point I do not expect that much from him. They either fix themselves and get better and find a good way, or they are going to end up being so much worse when it is playoff time.
2006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: November 16, 2021, 08:23:00 PM
To what i think on my own view i don't know if i can get more knowledge and understanding to this.
You just have to understand the market, you need to be able to study and know when it’s a right time for you to invest and withdraw your crypto currency. And also remember only invest money you know you can make back even if you lose the money.
If you would say that you’re never going to lose money, you know that’s not really going to be true, because there would be times when the market would go against your prediction. But when you have a good plan you will be able to curtail your loss and increase your profit.

Losses do happen and it is part of the business, you just have to learn how to deal with the losses so they are not much, and you can later strategize and hit a better profit. That’s just how it works in the market. There are so many tools available to trader, it’s good to look out for these tools and know which ones are going to fit in best and be useful in what you want to do.
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: November 16, 2021, 09:59:44 AM
What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.
The market hasn’t been in a favorable condition for the meme coins any longer. Most of them have been going down, maybe that’s because there isn’t much hype for them. Among the two top meme coins in the market, Shiba Inu seems like it would keep going up for now, plus the market has been on the positive side.

But that hasn’t been the case for Dogecoin, it has been on the very low end and doesn't seem like it's going to increase to reach its last all time high price. So for now I am not holding any meme coin and have no plans to buy any for now, I would prefer to go with better coins then investing in any of these meme coins as of right now.
2008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice regarding buying on: November 15, 2021, 09:48:36 PM
To put it in other word, i want to add more bitcoin to my portfolio but with current near ATH price, i am not sure how to proceed from here.
We all know buying at/near ATH is not the best move. On the other hand, people will suggest « DCA DCA - long term long term».
What people here ate suggesting must be the best one to everyone and to be followed. Because, we cannot be sure about how long the current ATH will persist. Definitely it will get broken and bitcoin market will set another new ATH at any time in near future. So in order to to keep covering the upcoming bull run you must need to keep on buying at regular intervals rather than hesitating to buy around the current ATH.

DCA is a practice which will help you to build your portfolio to be good only in long run. And in short run, DCA may not look like a profitable one as you need to keep buying rather than figuring out a bottom prices to buy. DCA is a best one for the people who are not into technical analysis.
2009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losses in trading are nothing but Business expenses on: November 15, 2021, 09:14:35 PM
When I follow my strategy and I lose, I see it a the price I have to pay to get it right, because there is no 100% strategy and since I don't know which trade would be a winner or loser, I detach myself from every trade and execute my strategy flawlessly regardly of the outcome.
This must be a different perspective of how we need to treat losses while trading. But, definitely this will give positive energy to all traders by not minding about their losses but they will keep learning to improve their strategy so that they will be turning their losing trades in to profitable ones. At the same time we need to to be careful while losing our capital otherwise we might need to go for arranging funds from other sources for continuing our trading. I mean only up to some levels we can consider losses like expenses for improving and enhancing our strategy but not for all the times.
2010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making profit with a bubble on: November 15, 2021, 08:51:54 PM
It will vary on how you do deal up with things and also not all would really be that good when it comes to these things.
Yes, it will be difference between traders but when people are trying to make profits from bubble and then trying to shorting from the point of bursting of same bubble, the problem starts. In my opinion it is highly risky one because you cannot predict the endpoint of bubble but probably we need extraordinary level of technical analysis to find that.

As for me, if a trader makes a profit, then other aspects simply fade into the background. The main thing is to make a profit.
I agree with this but fishing on calm water will be much better option rather than trying on storm times. You must wait for your perfect time in market condition so that you will make consistent profits rather than looking for one time opportunities. So, other aspects are also important in my view.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 15, 2021, 08:31:16 PM
Do you remember any captain winning the toss and electing to bat first. No one dared to do that because the pitch was difficult to bat early on and as the match progress it will be easier to bat while the dew factor played an important role which was making things hard for the bowlers.
Yeah, I remember Afghanistan elected to bat first after winning toss against New Zealand and Bangladesh also did the same against England if my memories are accurate. In my opinion also Dubai pitch is totally a different kind from what we have been seeing at all around the world.

Some pitches are pace friendly which will lead to low scoring matches but Dubai pitch is also getting us low scoring matches still second batting side or first batting after 10 overs are seeming like batting friendly pitch. Not sure how curators have developed such an unique kind of pitch which is totally different from earlier IPL match pitches.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 15, 2021, 08:01:19 PM
It's not gambling that can build your character but it's important that you have a good and strong character if you are going to gamble, you cannot justify that you are gambling because you want to develop a good trait, it's like justifying why you are spending and losing a lot of money, I prefer to look at gambling as it is and that is to get entertain, and spending more money and time will lead you to lose money and time.
Are you going to recommend gambling to build character it's like heading them into a quicksand.
I agree in order to develop good characters of out of gambling first we need to be capable of learning out of anything. Addicted gamblers will never mind about learning anything while they are gambling. Such type of gamblers will keep on gambling regardless of whatever outcome they are facing so when they are not focusing anything outside from gambling then you cannot expect them to be developing good characteristics from their activities.

Overall, the positive evolution of gambling is possible only for the gambler who are all open to learning. If you ignore everything then there will be no room for any of positive things.
2013  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: November 14, 2021, 09:43:15 PM
Give it one or two years 1xbit will become one of the most popular crypto bookmaker on the forum and other global cryptocurrency forums, with the level of efforts being put in to  resolve and build reputation by the 1xbit team. This is the first time am seeing a team paying signature participants for week they never work just to clear things up. I believe the same thing is applicable to issues with deposits and winning on they site.
1xbit is paying player on their site unless you violate the T&C.
Just because people (like me) are saying that there is a lot to unravel here and 1xbit needs to do a better job. Doesn't mean that we are saying they are going to be full on scammers and keep being a scammer. What 1xbit and all the defenders do not realize is that, I personally (and many like me) just say that there is a big problem here, there are a lot of people who are even known in bitcointalk ended up saying something negative about this place.

If you could work hard to fix all of that, fix all this live betting problems, fix all the "bet is void, shouldn't have been able to play to begin with" situation, then of course it could get a lot better. The only problem is that they are doing one thing that everyone hates and they are doing it consistently as well. So stop that, fix all the previous complaints, and of course it could become a big thing, why shouldn't it be?
2014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For those who think that they caught the moment when it's late to buy on: November 14, 2021, 08:12:01 PM
The reason why I opened thread about this is that people often think that they can only buy something and don't realize that they can do borrow sell too and get profit even when price falls.
But, at least for bitcoin trading it is always good to go buying rather than looking for opportunities for shorting. Because, in long run you might be getting proven that you are absolutely wrong with your decision but when you keep buying then you will be getting plenty of chances to make profits over the time.

By considering the limited supply of bitcoin, keep on buying alone got bigger chances to help us on making profits compared to shorting. Shorting might be profitable in short run but you might get trapped when unexpected sudden pumping of bitcoin market will happen.
2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 14, 2021, 01:16:37 PM
Eddie Howe has been named as Newcastle's new head coach with a contract until the summer of 2024. Eddie Howe is also a good coach. Bournemouth's glory days were brought by Eddie Howe, who moved Bournemouth from the bottom of league 2 and into the Premier League, then helped them stay there for five seasons. Newcastle will undoubtedly be the same after Eddie Howe joining. Welcome to the club, Eddie! Best wishes.

I actually was expecting to see a much more qualified manager at Newcastle. But I don't want to be prejudiced also. As long as Eddie Howe creates a strong game plan and Newcastle get the right players for the team, they can still become very successful. Leicester became the champions with Ranieri even if they didn't have a very fascinating squad then. I can't even imagine what Newcastle can do with big transfers and a strong lineup.
A good solid appointment. A man with a footballing brain, honest approach and meticulous in detail. Newcastle fans must see the logic in that. It's a building process with financial backing to make it work in the long term. Take it from an Leicester city fan, you have to consolidate and build. Like you have said, you were expecting a more qualified manager, but there has to be a middle man. You can't just go straight and get someone like pep or Klopp. Eddie took Bournemouth from the brink of relegation out of the football league to the premier. I think this is a great appointment from a non Newcastle fan.
You know what this Eddie Howe appointment tells me? They signed him until 2024, which is not short period of time, that's like what 3 seasons or so? That means they are not going to really change things around in a single off-season. I knew this much, I knew that they wouldn't do that, but I also saw so many people assumed that they would do that. What happened? They ended up with so many people being wrong, because they always said things like "oohh maybe they will offer Mbappe 2x of what Real or PSG can offer?" or "maybe they will offer 300 million for Haaland??" and so forth.

Those are the type of things that I really wanted to see, it would be very fun but I knew that it wouldn't happen right away, players wouldn't just go there for the money right off the bat. They didn't spend insane amounts for the manager and got a decent one, they will do the same for players as well. They will get better a bit, but not a whole lot overnight.
2016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 14, 2021, 09:58:24 AM
B/W I will place my bet right after the toss, anyone winning the toss will surely win the game.
Winning toss and choosing fielding first also more important. I guess in this tournament Bangladesh and Afghanistan had chosen to bat first after winning the toss but ended up losing their matches if my memory serves be perfect. I am also in plan to bet after the toss but we need to remember that in the IPL final, CSK won the title after batting first on the same venue. So, we need to be prepared to face all kind of results as well.

Absence of Convoy might be getting them negative impact to New Zealand in my perdition. Still, bowling attack in terms of both pace and spin, I guess New Zealand is in better form than Australia in my opinion.
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French presidential election betting on: November 14, 2021, 07:08:32 AM
Do you know a website where one can bet on the french political election of 2022 using crypto ?
What are your favorite betting houses? I am sure if you find one of your preferred event is not covered by them then you may go requesting them then most betting house will work on that to get you such betting. These days external odds providers are in plenty of numbers hence if a betting platform is ready to host an event then everything needed will be done in matter of hours.

I guess you must have account in at least 5 different betting houses so that all your preferred events will be covered. I do bet on freebitco and I just checked but they are not covering any of political events for betting, it seems.
2018  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: November 13, 2021, 09:58:12 PM
I can't believe that we even have "hash clash" because it sounds as silly as it is also real too. I mean we have 2 crypto casinos having a sponsorship with 2 premier league teams. That is surreal, crypto casino world was something tiny when I first started. The very first thing I remember was blockchain.info had satoshidice as an option on your wallet, you could gamble if you wanted right there with your wallet, THAT was crypto gambling.

Now looking back on where we are currently, we are talking about millions of dollars worth of sponsorships every single year, that is something totally crazy to consider and I can't believe how much further we got in the past 10 years.

Damn, worst week for me still not making withdrawals on almost all sites including stake.com
it seems the slot provider is activating suction mode  and suck all the balance  Cheesy no need to be greedy for recovery it might be a good idea to leave slot games for a while and go to sports betting.

I am sure you are aware of your own finances more than I could ever give you advice for. However I would say that putting a little less money into it for another week or two could be something a lot better maybe? I have a strict 50 bucks per month rule, I will never lose more than 50 bucks each month because that's all I can afford to lose, if I lose it on first day then I won't gamble another 29 days until first of next month, if I win a lot then I won't have to put in more next month, so all in all I have strictly limited myself.

This could be more than 50 bucks for you, but I would highly suggest you to put a limit to yourself. That way you are not going to miss out on gambling, because why would you? As long as you get to lose a small amount that you do not care about, then it is a very fun thing to do so we should do it with care but still have fun.
2020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 13, 2021, 09:26:13 PM
It seems to me that it would be safer (and more convenient) to keep your crypto on an exchange (coinbase, blockfi etc) than cold wallet. Wouldn't the odds be greater that you mess up your cold storage than a large exchange being hacked or whatever (even if they are hacked, that wouldn't necessarily mean you would lose any coins, whereas if you are hacked that's a different story). I ordered a ledger nano X but it seems that the exchanges are still the way to go based on probabilities. What are your thoughts?
Yes, in a way you’re kind of right. But it’s all about whether you’ll be able to manage the hardware wallet by yourself. If you'll be able to do that, then it wouldn’t be bad to have your own cold storage where you will be storing your crypto currencies and knowing that it would be safe from being hacked by anyone.

The reason why a lot of people prefer cold storage is because exchanges are usually a target for hackers, they would always go for any exchange that doesn’t have a good enough security and once they have the access, they steal the money from the exchange.

A lot of exchanges has been shut down through this means, when they lose customers’ funds they are unable to continue their business and that also results to their users losing their money as well. Then as for you not being able to keep your hardware wallet safe, if you misplace it,that’s another problem again. So, you should learn how to keep it safe and where to keep it in your house and not carry it around.
