2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: deleted thread on: May 13, 2014, 05:41:21 PM
You know guys this Coin has problems and I thought also it goes to the moon but what keeps me confident is that the Dev is motivated and could fix the first Fork. Hope he gets it done this time again.

I also like the own board to discuss .. Bitcointalk really kills some coins through bad publicity and Kindergarten.

Just my 50 cent..

Keep going Dev! You do a good job (not great.. Tongue)

Please don't forget your loyal customers who bought Gridseeds from you and who are willig to buy your new miners in the future but can not afford it at the moment. We brought you your money to get forward. I am speaking regarding your new beta project. Thanks.

also the restart loop issue is so annoying and my blade is stuck in it for almost 24 hours now.. sent ticket in but no reply

Same. Jeff can you give some explanations due to this error? I get this restart loop every day. Is it caused from the Gridseed Blade? Software?

Thanks for transparency.

Cheers,

Chris

Waere super thx!

Cheers!

Hey guys,

I am new in the mining business and I have got a question to POS. I read some explanations about Proof of Stake and I understand the system in general. My question is now when I hold the UVC in Bittrex on their wallet are they counted for POS? Are the coins coming automatically?  Thank you for your help guys.

SO i'm 98.75% sure these are zeusminer's chips..

Posts made from a visit to Zeusminer's warehouse.

Those look an AWFUL lot like a shell for the uniquely designed "WAR MACHINE"

http://www.gawminers.com/the-war-machine-54-mh-s-asic-scrypt-miner-week-one/

When you look at the power consumption vs hash-rate and the fact that these are 55nm chips, the new miners are clearly based on gs3355 chips. The War-Machine possibly has some 800 of them, maybe they put more of these chips on a larger die. Only Josh can tell.

I believe the War Machine and Gawminers have Zeus Chips not Gridseed chips - at least the Zeus Newsletter that came out last night said they're supplying the Gawminers.

Yes and in the Youtube Video you see that they look very similiar to the pictures from the Warmaschine

IPOminer was also 12-20 hours too late on the coin. When everyone stands still and no one gets panic it can go high. I will not sell no risk no fun Smiley

You changed the coins per block? New is:

Reward         # Blocks
 125,000.00      50.00
 100,000.00       500.00
 75,000.00          1,550.00
 50,000.00           3,550.00
 25,000.00          6,300.00

Before it was 50.000 till 2.000 blocks !!
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Compare profitability: Scrypt Scrypt-N X11 multipools and hashrate rentals on: May 05, 2014, 10:45:18 AM
great comparison chart. i've seen links to this within many other threads.
have you looked to include https://www.ipominer.com/ has around 4000Mh/s
ipominer is a big headache to say the least.
They also happened to calculate exchange rate by the SELL price sometimes on some coins. Which was way, way, way off to BID prices.

Yes but when you do it right and speculate a bit then you make good profit with them.

But you are right the Profitability calculation is very real-time I calculate myself 24h earnings per coin per bid price to decide which coin I mine from them.

Cheers,

Christian

2016  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- THE WAR MACHINE 54MH Miner!! on: May 05, 2014, 03:48:01 AM
G-glade hash rate fluctuate wildly and going down a few times a day.

yes I get this issue a lot as well, please fix this especially for those who rent out on leaserigs
Using worker difficulty 16, 32 and 64 make the blade very unstable (too many errors force reboot apparently).  The blades are much more stable with something like 1024 difficulty.  I think the problem lies with pools that don't allow you to set the miner difficulty, or don't use VARDIFF properly.  So set a higher worker difficulty, or use a good pool with VARDIFF.

If it were possible to change the error tolerance for reboot, that would be great.  I don't know if that's hard-programmed into the controller, or if GAW can allow us to set a limit.  There seems to be something with the blade that causes errors and reboots when getting lots of small work very fast, versus less, higher-difficulty work.

Power issues:(?)
There have been several times when my blades will get stuck in a reboot loop, even at higher work difficulties.  I've emailed support, and they say, "It was a power issue", and usually the blade comes back online, apparently after they tweaked something.  Other times, 1/2 of the blade is down, while the other half is just fine.  Rebooting only makes that good half come back up again, while the other half is still down.  This happens often.  Eventually (hours), the other half comes back up.

Not sure if GAW has fully implemented their "revamping of the blade's power delivery for all effected blades", or if it is just selectively done.  I'm guessing all of the blades suffer from lack of proper available power, and that GAW hasn't updated the power delivery for every blade- just those that people have complained about. This guess is from the observation that others also are still having issues, and that I get 1/2 of blades that won't come back up after reboots, or blades that won't reboot.

It's possible this is due to poor blade design, or the controller.  It would be nice to know that GAW has upgraded the power delivery for EVERY blade, so that this can be ruled out, and not just for "those blades effected by a power delivery issue".   I think I still may have power delivery issues on some of my blades, manifested as reboot loops, or half the blade staying stuck.

Anyone else seeing the "1/2 stuck blades", or infinite reboot loops?

100% Agree. See the same issues in my UI. From support I heard they are working hard on the issues. A statement today would be great the LOOP of Restarting is a real problem cause it takes sometimes 1-2 hours.

2017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: $/MHS for Asic Miners is finally coming down on: May 04, 2014, 01:32:06 PM
Hey JJJ,

Thanks for the thread Cheesy

Yeah you are right the $ per MH/S go down, but I am happy to have mit Gridseed Blade running NOW. The point is to have the most MH/S the earliest you can get atm in my opinion.

I think waiting a bit is a good strategy Gawminers e.g. try to get you into their sales funnel by time pressure offers.

Falcon - 27 mhs - $3,499 = $129/mhs sounds for me for the best deal at the moment. But better wait a bit like two weeks and then buy it .. I don't believe they will be out of stock and maybe the price will drop more.

The Flacon 27Mh/s

I'm still waiting on my double hash reward and email. :-/

Also still waiting for those 4 additional hosted blades that will be set up "this week" according to Josh. Today is the last day of "this week." I know you guys are busy, but waiting sucks. Sad

Keep plugging away GAW, and I'll keep ordering more so you stay busy.

I am waiting for my order also.

May purchase more after they come online.

Waiting too. Josiah answered me two days ago that they might be able to bring blades online today. (I purchased in the beginning of the week)

Would be great to hear updates. I am ok if it is not possible today to bring them online, I just like transparency and news Smiley
