2001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why still keep the money on phone? on: December 13, 2022, 05:40:21 AM
if vulnerable why people still keep his bitcoin on wallet phone?, are they rich? Why they give his bitcoin to the hacker?
People who don't consider an extra level of security or to go an extra mile to ensure the security of their coins, can still possess the mentality that the coins they have currently are not up to an amount what's going on extra mile for in seeking security or up to an amount that a hacker would be targeting.

Hackers usually target huge amounts of bitcoins, anyone with a very huge amount of bitcoins and decides to keep them on his mobile phone that he walks around with cannot be considered to be very wise.
2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin project a failure after all ? on: December 12, 2022, 10:28:55 PM
We will not still be having discussions about bitcoins if the project has failed. For the fact that the existence of this forum remains, bitcoin has not failed.

Now, it seems to have become something quite different from what he originally set out to do, doesn't it ?
we can agree that the scope of usage of bitcoins from satoshi back then was limited, the project is both serving the function it was started and also developed other extensive benefits. Wherever Satoshi is, he will not think his project as a failure, but be very proud about the achievements.
2003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Where do slot game developers get the soundtracks they use? on: December 11, 2022, 03:59:21 PM
I recently played a slot game named "Wanted dead or a wild", on Livecasino.io and I so much liked it because of the great soundtrack the game had. I have asked here if anyone has an idea the origin of the songs used in slot games, there was no definite answer, so I am bringing it up here for general discussion.

Where do slot game developers get the soundtracks they use in their game development? Are soundtracks made specifically for every game (that will be an extra budget) or do they use selected already existing soundtracks and just pay the creators some royalty for using it?

Liverpool and Chelsea are currently rocked by instability. Both from the side of the game which looks so chaotic this season and the internal side which is not in full support, the next half of the season still doesn't look so promising. But I totally agree Jude Bellingham needs to consider Real Madrid,
For me, Liverpool remains the best option for him. He will get enough playing time and be closer to home. This world cup increased the worth of some players like Bellingham, Gakpo etc. in the transfer market, another player that has had his worth go up too due to this world cup is the very young Croatian center-back player Josko Gvardiol who is currently playing in Leipzig and has been a strong force in defense for Croatia, the team that sank the Brazilian hopes for a world cup win.

Some big clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Manchester city, Real Madrid and even Chelsea are interested in signing him.

2005  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 11, 2022, 03:14:39 PM
You are incorrect. Individuals have a daily mobile transfer limit of 5 million, while cooperatives have a daily transfer limit of 10 million. If you want to transfer more than the daily limit, there is a fee, and how many Nigerians use 100k cash weekly? Furthermore, I am aware that the majority of heavy shopping is done with a credit card. Who buys cars with cash? In Nigeria, you guys are hilarious. Grin
The idea of this development is to encourage the cashless policy that the government has been trying to start for a while and the use of the E-naira. The big friction with this issue is that it is coming just after CBN letting us know that the have redesign the naira, everything just dey happen too quickly, and the changes dey hard to come to terms with suddenly. If the agenda is to get lesser cash in circulation and more cashless deals, I hope say government get plans for these banks to improve their network, because banking reception recently for most banks have been really very poor.

Also, is there any way we can make our reputation good and be trusted by consumers?
Because definitely in starting this business there needs to be consumer trust in us.
When I started a business then alongside with a family member, reputation was the hardest thing to build for the business so it could keep getting patronage. But first before our services and products could start to market themselves, the first reputation that I noticed was considered before clients gave us jobs as a new business was the reputation of the people who have the business.
Are they by nature, people who keep to their word even before they started the business?, these are things that can be checked, either by extensive inquiry involving some sophisticated methods, or simply find out from people that know you. Reputation in business is built, build from the reputation you have as a good person when starting.
2007  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy tips people should know before teaching them bitcoin on: December 11, 2022, 02:28:18 PM
2. Use a pin, password or pattern to lock your phone
However you choose, make sure people don’t have access to your device. Your passwords should be
private and known only to you.
Most mobile phones now and laptops have the option of creating two users, a function to create another space in the phone or computer for another user. If you let people have access to your phone and computers, this function will be good to be taken advantage of, Separate your important and private applications and information from the other regular and normal applications that can be used by anyone. If you also use the function, It will also be wise to not let people know that you have a private space on your device, so if it happens they have bad intentions, you will not be giving them a head start where to look to gain access to. Stay private.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 10, 2022, 10:17:03 PM
france victory led to the semifinals to meet morocco, i think morocco has a worthy opponent now after beating some other great teams, this will be a great match in the semifinals and i don't want to underestimate morocco anymore ...
You will not be the only one not underestimating Morocco, the French national team know that Morocco can cause an upset and they may most likely be a stronger opponent than England that they won today. for Morocco France will not also be an easy team to defend against considering the efficiency in their attack but it is not impossible we have seen them play difficult teams to survive up to this stage, with a good game strategy, they can make history further. I will like to see an African team in the finals of the world cup for the first time ever.

Croatia are not also to be underated too, Argentina has to take them head on.
2009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: December 10, 2022, 05:15:40 PM
I really want Morocco to win today. The way this team is performing without any star playersis truly amazing.
Very deserving win for Morocco, they worked hard from start to finish and totally deserve a place in the semi finals, the first African team to win in the round of 16 and with a brilliant record of not loosing any game yet, and not conceding any goal except the one scored by their own player, an own goal.

I like Ronaldo and it was emotional seeing him in tears knowing his chance of winning a world cup has just ended, but in the game with Morocco, it was either I support Ronaldo or support Africa, and it just had to be Morocco who have been on a very good performance, and so an African team can still remain in this World Cup to continue to represent us.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambing Halal or Haram According to Jewish Or Christian Faith? on: December 10, 2022, 05:03:58 PM
In Christianity, there is no where gambling is mentioned in the bible that it is a sin.
I am a Christian, and our interpretations of the bible can be different. The bible doesn't mention all the things we consider as sin today. It did not openly condemn some activities, it also did not endorse some activities. What the bible preaches that I know is moderation. Personally the activity of gambling itself is not sin, the addiction to it is what I consider to be sin. The loss of self control to the extent that it begins to affect your decision making is what I consider sin.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: December 10, 2022, 03:20:10 PM
No doubt Morocco has indeed done very well  in this world cup.
I hope they can do better, high hopes for them to take the African name to the Semi Finals after the last failed attempt from Ghana. Morocco have so far not lost any game in the , hopefully it continues today. Good thing for Morocco that they have already seen how this Portuguese side can play without Ronaldo, so they know what to expect. Every Portuguese player in front posses an attacking threat, the Moroccans will be conscious of that. It will take very good play for the Portuguese to go past the Moroccan defense that has been outstanding in this world cup.

 I want Morocco to win.
2012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first sponsored Bitcoin seminar on: December 10, 2022, 01:02:25 PM
BTC To educate people on what Bitcoin really entails.
Good Objectives OP. Many people know about the name bitcoin, but not really about bitcoin, Many have the surface knowledge about the subject as well, but no real in depth knowledge about bitcoins. Your timely seminar has to extent assisted in reducing the misconceptions and the number of persons with some half-baked knowledge. This is your first as you have mentioned, I hope you find it possible to hold a second and continuously, to keep positively making your objectives solid.

Thank you for your contribution.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will there be a replacement for bitcoin one day so that bitcoin isn't number 1? on: December 10, 2022, 12:08:00 PM
I have never doubted bitcoin from the beginning when I was here until now, but my wild thoughts have always asked whether new projects can compete with or even replace bitcoin, especially with the current conditions of bitcoin, which is very difficult to pass anything.
There are majorly use cases for people who own bitcoin right now, the first set use bitcoins majorly for transaction purpose, the others have found a use for it as a way to invest their money. Asking if there will be replacement has to be directed to one aspect. Will bitcoins be replaced as the number one for use in transactions, there is a possibility as technology evolves. Will bitcoins be replaced as the best thing to invest in right now, the possibility still exist.

Speaking about the future, it is difficult to give exact predictions, anything is almost possible.

Croatia 1-1 Brazil (4-2 on pens)
The first two Quarter finals games played today were tense, both games getting to Penalties for the winners to be decided. Argentina in the second game were lucky IMO, very rough game with more than ten yellow cards given by the referee. In the final minutes of the extra time they increased the tempo of their game to show that they were not completely confident in their penalty abilities and were trying to avoid it. The first two penalties saved by the Argentina gloves during the penalties gave them the confidence that they could still win.

This world cup is exciting!
2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 05:40:20 PM
Another goal by Croatia the match score now 1-1 goal . it is really amazing The battle is still going on in the game.  It seems that the winner of the match will now be decided by penalties.
Croatia's goal was very unexpected, Brazil looked to have switched off after neymar's goal thinking that they had already won the game and were moving through to the semi-finals. This game has been Brazil's biggest test in this world cup as nobody would have even seen this game going into penalties. Croatia has the advantage on penalties already as they have already played Penalties in this world cup with their goalkeeper who is in form obviously saving three balls.

All eyes on the Samba boys to see if they will go through, or Croatia against all odds.
2016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 04:25:19 PM
The second half started with a bit of intensity and brazil has some good movements. However, there was a clear handball by a Croatia player and the umpire checked for VAR but it was denied. I wonder why plenty was not given when it was a clear handball by the Croatian player.
If it was a handball, it would have been awarded. The Croatian Goal keeper has saved some good chances that Brazil has gotten, a goal from any team will open up this game. Some fresh legs for Brazil can affect this positively. Tite has removed Raphinha for Anthony, and removed Vini Jr for Rodrigo. Richarlison has not had many opportunities in this game but the coach still leaves him in because he recognises that Rricharlison does not need to touch the ball a lot to be on target, he already has a good record of goals in this world cup with very few touches to his name. Martinelli is another player that will be good for this game.
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: December 09, 2022, 02:54:25 PM
We just have to give Moroccans the credit and not entirely blame Spain for the loss.
Spain's loss is hyped because of the big expectations for this Spain team that many people had for them first getting into the world cup, an expectation that they reinforced by scoring very many goals in their first game, and completing many passes in the competition, more than any other team. We thought they will go far and not get knocked out by an African side. Their coach Luis Enrique has been sacked as a result of the dissapointment the loss brought to the country.

2018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Small Scale Businesses should accept Cryptocurrencies as a medium of payment on: December 09, 2022, 02:16:48 PM
It is a common saying that “cryptocurrency is the future” but one can categorically say crypto is the present. Many big corporation now accept cryptocurrencies as a medium of exchange and that is how it begins.
Before crypto becomes the future, it has first fully conquer the present.

Today governments, big corporations, individuals are seeing the importance and benefits of cryptocurrencies that is why they are adopting it. So why should the small scale businesses be left behind?
No matter how nice, current and standard accepting cryptocurrency can make a businesses look, Small scale business owners need to and  should be able to understand their business structure to know if receiving cryptocurrency is good for their business or not. Not all businesses in my opinion will need to accept crypto for payment, the money that people pay to them for services or products are too small to make over a crypto transaction.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 09, 2022, 11:23:28 AM
Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program?
Some of it's drawbacks are;
-It will Kill the fun in betting. A part of the fun in betting is the uncertainty and the suspense in not knowing if you will win or loose.

-It has the Potential to make people Lazy, and not to want to read or decide to want to know more about the sports they are betting on.

-People will depend more on betting to make money, the dependence on it can pose a danger to one's life since the AI cannot be correct all the time, the over dependence can cause depression whenever the AI doesn't get it correctly.

Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence?
I can take tips, but the final decision will be mine to analyze.

I'm usually against such huge transfers - but Bellingham does look like a complete midfielder and he's only 20 years old.
Bellingham is one of the very young Midfielders in this world cup that has impressed, his value will go up more If England somehow find themselves in the finals. Before England's last game I told a friend how good this young boy was, he said it was just a media hype, the regular hype that English Players get, but beyond doubts, he was convinced after seeing the amount of influence he had for England in that game against Senegal. For me the only other young player that would have had his value go up if his country remained in the competition is Musiala. IMO, Gavi is good, but Musiala and Bellingham are better.
