So, anyone got an idea as to how the POS algo can be checked. Or the whole code.
Blindly trusting the dev is really an issue.
I am not saying that anything is wrong. What I am saying though is, that the current state of Qora leaves a lot of serious attack vectors open.
I am aware that showing the source will lead to a clonefest. But maybe there is another way to have the code checked without it excaping into the wild.
qora has my FULL TRUST... I leave the decision to him... if he has decided that the code be obfuscated for now... SO BE IT!!!  By the way... you need to make a decision for YOURSELF and stick to it Secondleo... beating around the bush doesn't help much... just saying...  Let ye who has not double spent cast the first troll ! I think its best if you PM qora. He checks his PM more than he checks this thread. i don't need him specifically to tell me where to find the literature. it would be super great if anyone would. surely you guys learned about this new pos algo before you invested  you must have learned about it from somewhere. BCX is a craptsy insider... just like mudder... and the masonic hobo/admin horus. This operation is an IN-HOUSE SHITCOIN JOB. Another victim here. On April 28 , 2014 I’ve attempted to withdraw some coins from Cryptsy.com. The withdrawal got stuck and never came through. After opening two separate tickets (#128955, #131570) and having bunch of futile exchanges with a person(s) named “Phoebe”, it became apparent that:
a) I won’t see my money back.
b) Cryptsy managed to lose track of my funds, could not provide transaction numbers and was not interested in working with me on finding the problem.
Other, be ware - Cryptsy.com may be operated by a negligent and likely incompetent crew.
I guess the fact that you are very pro XRP and your entire post history is bashing any site that trades in other crypto probably has nothing to do with your manufactured issue at all? ~BCX~ Yeah but in this case kwilliams has a good point, and I can understand your frustration first hand, and I don't know what to ever expect from Cryptsy now either. I would have only hoped for negligence since that can be remedied, but I am afraid they are either overwhelmed/negligent or don't care at all, and seeing how they haphazardly open markets and outright lie to people there may be more to it. This is truly an outrage and the one company I was hoping would be a great exchange has severely let me down now. Have you ever thought about trading your shitcoins elsewhere? Please explain how you or anyone else is "forced" to trade here. If you are aware that there are issues and you continue to trade there, then that means you accept the risk. For anyone wondering about the airdrop I received my coins so did a few hundred others and before asking questions always read the OP. Now there was talk about a new wallet with some unique features and devs said they where talking to the exchanges doing something that only one coin has done before.. or was that this massive giveaway? I see I missed the 140 satoshi speak on poloniex a few days ago no worries I have high hopes for this coin if the dev's get active. LOfreakinLOUD ! You said what ? What are the odds that these delays could be somehow related to that GIANT freakin 140 SAT peak ?!! hmm.. SYNC's dev sent the premine there for "safe keeping".. I mean bought it back after it peaked... (bangs head on desk) How the hell did I miss that ! ROLF... |

Let's not turn this into a battle thread. Hippie has valid concerns. He may go about it in an adverse and disruptive manner but i can see that his concerns are valid. I am willing to discuss any and all concerns. I also agree we don't want negativity it benefits no one and there is no reason to be childish.
