2001  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you Spending Money the Wrong Way in Pursuit of Happiness? on: May 10, 2023, 11:10:55 PM
Some people find it difficult to spend their money on others because they are enveloped in the "me" cloud. Some regard it as unfair to extend a hand of financial help to others since everyone has two hands to work, so your number two point, op may sound like a foreign language to them.
Money can never buy happiness, rather to some people, it makes them greedy and unsatisfied hence the need to look for more. True happiness can come from contentment or using what you've gotten to benefit others.
2002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 10, 2023, 04:07:47 AM
For arsenal to win Premier league Two things will happen which they will  continue to remain consistent in their games and if Manchester City lose their games, this is the only way arsenal can end up with winning the premier league. Manchester City have a better chance of winning Premier league than arsenal,  as for the Champions league it is not  very sure if Manchester City will win over real madrid,  because the game is not going the  way expected to be. Real Madrid is a tough team that Manchester City can defeat just like that.
City isn't even ready to lose a single match in favor of arsenal. They would spread out and play with every strategy they've got to be able to win the remaining matches...
Go take a close look at a table, you'll realize arsenal still got a big problem with the goal difference... It's clear that the lapses can't be covered in just 2 matches straight,...one of Which they might even lose in the process... lol😆 .. now arsenal have got to face Brighton next... That's total brutality though, we all hope they survive them.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

Manchester City are not ready to let go any point at this point in time, that you're correct but never forget that this is football and the EPL one of the greatest league in the world that's full of surprises, nobody can right off any team or say "this is a smaller club, is a walkover" when it comes to this stage in the EPL tables do shake teams do drop points.
As for City and Arsenal is going to be like a surprise package to some football fans, City can still drop point for Arsenal to top and win the league, Pep has one of target right in front of him [UCL] and I so feel that he's going to do everything possible to get to the finals and win it.
To rap it up, I have this strong feeling that Arsenal are winning the league with just a point, is not yet over for the Gunners.
2003  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: May 10, 2023, 03:49:54 AM
Success can be all in one money, fame or achievement but I see those 3 working together. Someone can have money but not famous and hasn't achieved anything depending on what he/she wants.

CONCLUSION
Let's stop making money and fame the only measure for success. Being successful is being happy and satisfied with ones fully achieved dreams. Money cannot buy satisfaction and happiness. Satisfaction and happiness is the true definition of success and anyone without this can not be declare as being successful.

In this life as humans we can never be satisfied no matter what we have in store, like we want more of it, even the richest man on earth still goes around commanding his business while he has excess money on his account even if he spends a lot in a day it won't show that he's spending, is like something we humans have in us to never be satisfied.
If I'm satisfied and happy (no money) and there's nothing on the table for me to feed on how is that going to work out for me? I can't call that success. Having money alone brings the other two (fame & achievement) together but it depends on where your target is. To me if I have money that would make me feel comfortable then I'm good to go, my money will speak for me better instead of working myself out. Well, all I can say is we're humans and can never be SATISFIED!!!
2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 10, 2023, 03:10:02 AM
Manchester City played absolutely well last night by making Madrid struggle to get the ball and it's what I was expecting from the Citizens, to me Madrid was no match for City. After the first goal by Vinicius Jr I thought that would be another problem for Manchester CITY, like they would be panicking to get an equalizer but Pep controlled his boys asking them to continue pushing till they got a goal.
I still don't know why whenever it comes to a crucial game such as this, Erling Haaland would just be a ghost in the game, like is worrisome and Pep Guardiola needs to start up somebody who's not relaxing in games such as this like Alvarez. I believe he [Alvarez] can do better than Erling or if possibly play both attackers in the return leg and make the defense of Madrid work more than they did in the first leg and hopefully it will be a win for City at the end.
2005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I won £50 - should I use it to buy Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2023, 02:53:04 AM
To me £50 is not a little cash Mr Cash . First of all lemme congratulate you on your winning and expect more to come. If I'm to be having such amount in my account I'd look for a way to increase it by investing on it, you can split it into two (use the other half to get something for you that you would be using as a reminder), I'd say go ahead but your Bitcoin with the other half and who knows before the end of 2 months (if you're patience) you'd be smiling more than you are now because I believe Bitcoin will raise to 30k+ and your profit would make you giggle.
2006  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: May 10, 2023, 02:27:05 AM
There are so many ways to generate profit in business, it all depends on the individual and how you set your goals, you can try something different from what you have been up in you line of business. You can increase the number of items you sell to your customers, make your goods to be unlimited.
By continually seeking for a way to increase/raise the prices of goods without scaring away your customers or to lower the cost of product without decreasing the quality, you can generate more profit per sale.

If PSG want to win the UCL trophy, even Mourinho is good coach, i think they should try to re-sign Ancelotti. With the squad currently have, maybe Ancelotti can give PSG the UCL title. For me, Ancelotti is a coach who is reliable enough to give the UCL title to the team he coaches. In the past, he failed to deliver the UCL trophy for PSG but not with the squad that PSG currently has. So, better chance if PSG can bring him back instead of Mourinho. Or, PSG can try to negotiate with Zidane once again.

Ancelotti, Mourinho and even Zidane are all good coaches but the question there should be, can PSG live up to expectation? Answer is No to me, because with the good players they have even with the coaches not mentioned they couldn't get hold of the UCL, the PSG side have no determination to be Champions but domestic champions.

Is so saddened that a great club as PSG could not do well when it comes to Europe competition.
Even if they sign Mourinho, Zidane or even Ancelotti they can't have a clinch of the UCL. To me I think too much pride is killing that team and they can never make it to the finals of UCL only to qualify and get knocked out like a smaller team.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 09, 2023, 05:07:36 AM
Manchester City are going to face one of the finest in UCL history but I this encounter is going to be a different one for the Spanish side, City are going to take advantage of the act that Real Madrid are losing a very vital player that can make a very big impact on the field of play, talking about the man they call Vinicius Jr. I don't think he'd make it on this encounter.
City on the other hand have a very high spirit going into this game with 10 games unbeaten (if I'm not mistaken) and is a booster to the Citizens while Madrid are like a switch, off and on in terms of form.
Pep Guardiola boys will do everything possible to get a win in this game, UCL is their number one priority so I can't see CITY making any mistake on this one, to me is a win for Manchester City.
2009  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Avoid Ponzi/Ponzi scheme is a scam on: May 09, 2023, 03:08:02 AM
Be aware of GMG website, should Incase kind of website will be close to your country, this site is a ponzi scam website where you will be asked to invest with the them, some days a go some people who invested with site because of a skirt Maker who promoted the site and many people thought with the skirt Maker who is promoting the GMG website that the site will be legit. So I'm of the opinion that we should avoid ponzi scheme and also make sure we make a research properly before investing in a newly created website. To inform you very well the website has crashed and people who invested their money, all are lost. Let everyone be careful for investment.

To start with, anything concerning Ponzi scheme is a no go area for me, is something I told myself I'd never engage myself in anymore, have never benefited from it either.
At some point when a friend introduce me to Bitcointalk I thought it was one of those Ponzi scheme crab sites, if I should say, this [Bitcointalk] is the best have ever come across.
I really don't blame people when they hear of such site as this GMG (quick money hurts at times) if a friend who has gotten something from it would likely invite you to join, most likely you won't want to doubt your friend when he said he has cashed out a huge sum of money. Well that's how the owners of this sites want people to see them as legit. Ponzi scheme is just a no no for me, like you said OP, about doing some research, it helps but I don't think these scammers are that dumb to let their end loose, is just a matter of being careful.

Hello Mates, I wish to venture into trading but I'm just being mindful of the current market situation. Looking at the market, I see instability.
It's a commendable step you are trying to take, especially as the next bill run is getting close but the way it looks like, you just want to trade and not be faced with any losses. Truth is business is risky and trading in a market like Bitcoin is risk itself as you rightly pointed it's one flaw; instability.

Quote
I wish to get the needed guide on how and when to start trading Bitcoin

I don't think there's a best time to start trading. For me, I'd advise you to start trading now, but be mindful of scammers who lurk around, because it's seems to be their territory, looking for an easy, desperate prey and just like people have said, trade with an amount you can easily part with. And also patience is the major key when it comes to trading, also avoid being greedy.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 08, 2023, 09:59:19 AM
I can't really explain how happy I feel right now concerning the victory of Napoli as they've secured the title but they still have another vision, although is for the hit man V. Osimhen. He has to be the highest goals scorer of the Serie A and at this point the whole team is backing him [V. Osimhen] up to win that individual award, I think for the first time they have to let Osimhen take a penalty, not just one but two in yesterday's encounter against Fiorentina. He missed the first one and converted the second, that's what I call team play coming from the Napoli side.
Before the end of the season with just 4 games to go (if I'm not mistaken) I know that V. Osimhen will emerged as the highest goal scorer of the SERIE A and the first African player to secure that award [highest goal scorer of the Serie A].
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 08, 2023, 04:39:05 AM
It's not as easy as you might think, this season still leaves 3 matches for Liverpool and 4 matches for Manchester United, so there is a comparison in the remaining matches that make these two teams have different opportunities. but if you look at the points results of these two teams for the time being it is true that the two are only 1 point apart. even i think if liverpool make 1 more mistake then their hope to close the season in top 4 is gone.

Likewise for Manchester United, if they fail in the next 1 match then their ranking will be quite threatened to be moved by Liverpool. I think these two teams will try their best in the upcoming matches and one of the hopes they are chasing is a Champions League ticket.
Manchester United defeat was quite surprising, even bigger than Newcastle goalless defeat against gunners. Everyone makes mistakes but the errors done by ManU players are catastrophic for the team. By far Maguire is leading the mistakes record but also De Gea sometimes makes big ones.
ManU and Newcastle have to win their remaining games in order to pick a Champions League spot. Liverpool are just behind both of them
I don't know what's going on with the man utd squad, it seems they have lost back the good form ten hag has built in the last few months.  This 1-0 defeat was actually quite painful for Man Utd, they failed to take 3rd place even though Newcastle lost 2-0 to Arsenal.  the next reason is man utd is wolves, if they lose this game again then I'm sure there will be more people who boo ten hag.

Manchester United have one problem, them (UTD). They just gave the fans what they have in store, the team has already lost focus, no determination at all, this is the time that even the weakest team in the EPL gets stronger to get a point. UTD against the Hammers was a game some fans expected to be a draw after coming into the second half but it wasn't , if the fans should look for who to blame then it should be the players. Some players have nothing to offer especially Anthony, that guy is just a waste of money, to me I don't see  the fans booing Hag at all, just wonder what they [Man UTD] would play against Wolves in their next encounter.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the world still see Bitcoin as a scam, or is it just a lack of interest? on: May 08, 2023, 03:39:32 AM
I would say it's regarded in both ways as stated by you, OP. While there are people who have heard of it but are sceptical about involving themselves, there are still those who have heard of it and still prefer to operate the traditional way.
For instance, Charlie Munger believes it's a scam project, an investment in nothing. Will we say he's not aware of the good Bitcoin is doing, especially now that traditional banks are failing?
It's just that everyone has a choice and is entitled to his or her opinion. So for me, I don't think that changes anything.
2014  Economy / Reputation / Re: How secure are you when unknown user chats you up? on: May 08, 2023, 02:01:17 AM
Sometimes whenever a chat comes up I just feel like getting to know the user immediately because it might be someone who meant well or probably someone who wants to get something from you, could be a vital information or could be a scammer as the case maybe.
To me I'd let the chat flow and I might even play to the tune of the unknown user, but giving out information from my end won't be possible until the intention of the user has been stated and one needs to be careful. I feel anxious sometimes when an unknown message pops up from someone I don't know even here in this forum.

Yes, I told them about the forum that everything that I gave to them was on behalf of bitcointalk.org forum members. I have all their contacts on my WhatsApp so that I can follow them up and bring them into this forum.

First of all lemme congratulate you, is not easy to do all you have done. Taking your time to convince them (the students) about Bitcoin and how best to go about it despite how some people would say ill things about it especially they scammy ones and you made sure that this forum is a good example to use to secure their minds, before you know it 85% of them would be here to make this wonderful forum grow in a bigger way.
I wish you all the best of luck to continue what you've started, the sky is your limit. Your hustle will continue to grow and I wish to do something such as this some day.

Congrats bro...
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Fun Question Here] Where Would You Live As a Bitcoin Millionaire? on: May 07, 2023, 01:07:25 AM
Question are..
1. Would/will you leave your current place of residence(your country), and relocate to a place you think is better(another country), if your bitcoin investment pays off, making you a millionaire, or almost a millionaire?

2. Yes or No - what is your reason.?

Some decisions can't be made immediately but when the time comes, without you thinking twice you'd just decide weather to stay or not.
Well, with the way Bitcoin is acting up and by the grace of God it happened that it came out big in my favor I still believe that I can make a move to relocate myself and my family but is not permanently. If it happens that after HODLing and I saw a bigger profit that would make me a millionaire, I'd rather invest more here in my country than going off to another man's country, I could make out chance visiting my family over there.
But I'm never leaving my country for good, like they say "home is where your heart lies".
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 07, 2023, 12:35:13 AM
Aside for the fact that Napoli won the Italian Seria A after 33yrs, if there's a team I should give an applaud it should be Juventus, 15pt deduction and they still made it to the top 4, that's an outstanding performance this season for the Old ladies. I must say these guys [Juventus] did everything possible to be where they're now.
Going head to head with Atalanta is going to be a game to watch out for. I feel the Old Ladies have all it takes to secure all 3pt and I don't see any thing holding Juventus back from winning this game today.
IMO, I see Juve coming out as victors in this encounter, is going to be a bit hard talking about the first half of the game but a huge win for Juventus.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 07, 2023, 12:00:41 AM
Man City got away with a 2-1 win against Leeds who are currently struggling with form but is a good win for the Citizens, at least they got all 3pt to keep the title race alive while one the other hand the Gunners will visit St. James' Park in an encounter that I doesn't seem to be an easy one. I wonder how Arteta and his boys would dance to the tune of this inform Newcastle side, can they [Arsenal] even come close to get a draw, talk less of a win? Who knows.
I just feel for the Gunners because Newcastle won't want to give up their chances of going to play Champions league football next season, top 4 is their [Newcastle] target so it won't be an easy one for Arsenal.

Well IMO, a possible draw could come out of this fixture but if the Gunners keep on pressing harder like they did against Chelsea I think a win could come to light for the Gunners.
2019  Other / Meta / Re: Account rank and posts on: May 06, 2023, 10:02:44 PM
OP, I don't know why you'd want to do such to your account by deleting all you have worked for (your post), if you delete all your post then what's the essence of coming here? Lemme tell you, your info is more valid than you think in this Forum.
The Forum needs you more than you think because for you to start up something here that means you have a bigger row to play to make this forum greater. Well, maybe you just felt like getting this topic to clear your curiosity.
