Just look at the fiat to Localbitcoin volume exchange for BTC in their respective countries. Russia is always hitting all time highs and they are aggressive against Bitcoin users. It is so obvious as some have pointed out already, that there is simply no possible way to stop Bitcoin. It's too big to fall now.

There are some big gambles you can take, for example NAUT and BITS seem like they will get pumped. XMR can recover at any time in the long term, and ETH is supported by the banking mafia so I can expect more pumps before it dies. Try to take advantage of those.

What was your fee? I never have problems with Bitcoin Core's recommended fee, but i have had problems before when I was sending bitcoin from somewhere else... developers need to come together and make all wallets recommend the correct fee to avoid this annoying delay.

Im getting scared of having some of my coins in Poloniex. Before you tell me that it is a bad idea, I know, but it's only a small amount, and it's impossible to take advantage of sudden price movements in the altcoin world unless you have liquid BTC disposable, otherwise by the time your confirmation happens in your Poloniex wallet the party might be over.

Usually most people that I have learned how they got rich, usually start some form of startup, kickstarter or website that ends up being a success. To get rich you need to attract a lot of people into your product, whatever you are doing must be exposed to a lot of people.

Either that, or you get rich with investments.

The actual gambling games can be fun and exciting for kids, you can let kids play with casino games and darts and have fun, the problem is when you involve real money, then it stops being a game and it can start becoming a problem. So I say the games are good for kids as long as no real money is involved.

I think Anderson Silva is past his prime and Cormier is overall a better fighter nowadays. Of course with someone as good as Anderson Silva you never know but he is not what he once was.

GSP is also starting to be past his prime but it's also one of the best ever too so it will be a fight of 2 legendary fighters nonetheless, but I think Cormier and Johnson are more hungry to win titles.

There are videos already of developers testing the lightning network and big steps are being taken in the right direction. Once the lightning network is live we will see some serious acceleration in the development, adoption and price, it will be fun to watch the people that are still doubting about getting in.

Yes, there are still some uses to be made with Bitcoin no matter how rich you are in USD, but I would buy a lot of it and put it in an offline hard drive for cold storage and would not touch them for at least a decade or two, then they would be worth hundreds of millions worth of dollars, or whatever currency governments are using by then.

It's agood strategy, but knowing what to do in the altcoin market is key and right now I don't know where to put the bitcoins at. So many altcoins and so many scams, and the coins with teh big marketcaps seems to be stagnating now for a while. Bitcoin is going up tho.

The main problem is still the fact that people is too dumb to buy bitcoin, to keep it safe and to make transactions on local wallets. We need to fix those points in order to try to aim for actual mainstream adoption. As Andreas.A says, until your mom can send a transaction in an iPad with a simple finger movement we are not there yet.

China will keep getting most of the hashing power as long as its profitable to do so, and this coupled with the fact that no one is still competing against them will keep making the China monopoly bigger, but Andreas says that we will see new technology developed that will decentralize mining again.

There are a lot of stupid coins with high interest but they are dead coins, and the big ones give too little unless you are a big staker.

A good middle ground is Bitstar, it's a good coin, wallet is great, supply is 21 million like Bitcoin, staking is good and the coin is cheap, I think it can eventually pump a lot and im under the impression whales are staking on this for months now.

Lol I remember Quark. If you have been enough time here you may remember the pump videos by Bill Still aka Bill Shill. He pumped Quark so hard and then he stopped making any videos on crypto, not even on Bitcoin anymore.

For example, we have seen SingularDTV make an huge crash, then recovered at half the price. This could have been a good opportunity to get in really cheap.

Chances are he was a guy, most people into technology are guys. Also, chances are if he comes back, he would never try to directly compete against Bitcoin. In fact, im pretty sure he is one of the anonymous coders delivering improvements in Bitcoin.
