2001  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: January 31, 2016, 06:08:42 AM
if bitcoin will be worth 1mln dollar next year you will retired next year
But if dollar will fail like  that we will see the biggest economic tornado in human history
There is a thread that Bitcoin will become 1 million dollars. If that's the case, you only need like 3 or 4 Bitcoins.
2002  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: January 31, 2016, 06:07:53 AM
Why not. There is a possibility the later is worth even more and afterwards less.
So you just have to take a risk. Otherwise buy one later.
The price will continue to rise, but at some point you should sell it. Don't just keep it for your whole life.
2003  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2016, 04:58:12 AM
of course it is good for bitcoin because it makes the price to keep on rising in my opinion thats the main reason of the halving isnt it? i think its really good

I think people here only minimal amount of knowledge about halving or miners need to read more on how stuff works around.Everyone around has the same opinions ,halving will increase the price but will be sad for miners.I'm not saying its wrong but the explanation is quite vague. I could write a 10 line paragraph on it but too bored to type .Check out this nice article about halving and bitcoin prices in 2016.Gives nice insights on the entire system : http://forklog.net/bitcoin-halving-and-its-impact-on-the-price-in-2016/
All I know it's that halving is good for bitcoin because the price will rise. Well it's good for me.  Grin
2004  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: January 30, 2016, 04:16:24 AM
Is bitcoin safe, yes it is I even think the bitcoin is the safest payment method there is available at the moment, as example paypal accounts are getting hacked very much. Plus bitcoin is secure, fast and untraceable.
PayPal do have relatively good security. However, hacks on PayPal accounts occurs because of bad security practices, just like Bitcoin. Since PayPal payments are easily reversible, it isn't of much interest compared to Bitcoin. With Bitcoin, it is easier to steal if the user doesn't take proper safety security practices.
That is what I really hate about Paypal. It is just too easy for a transactions to be reversed.
2005  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: January 30, 2016, 04:05:57 AM
Is it safe to keep all of my assets in Bitcoins? And how Department for Combating Economic Crimes, can affect my account?  What permissions they need , to freeze all my money ?
It is not safe to keep all your eggs in one basket. Keep some in Bitcoin and some in something else.
Very true. I keep some of my assets in Bitcoin, and then I keep some of them in gold.
2006  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: January 30, 2016, 03:55:58 AM
i think that it could actually happen in the future though it will require the mass adoption to happen and people starting use it way more in their everyday life
There is no way that it will ever happen. Fiat is much better and Bitcoin really needs to do something big for it to overtake fiat.
2007  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: January 30, 2016, 03:53:17 AM
Gold is beautiful, but my favourite for sure right now is Bitcoin.
It's hot and happening. Can't see this changing on the short term.
"Gold is beautiful", is that really all you can say about gold. Bitcoin is definitely much better though.
2008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: January 30, 2016, 03:51:25 AM
I think BTC has advantages when paying online. It has fast transactions and low fee. But in the outside world, the transactions just take too long.
But as soon as you put the transaction through, you can't take that back. The transaction time is fine.
2009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Donald Trump made comments on bitcoin? on: January 30, 2016, 03:44:45 AM
I don't think he will comment anything on Bitcoin prior to elections as the effect of it can go both ways and he wouldn't want to risk that. But I am sure he knows it and probably owns it.
Yeah this is pretty true. If he says something about Bitcoin, a lot of people could change their votes for president.
2010  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2016, 03:38:07 AM
My new plan to get rich with Bitcoin is to buy a Bitcoin gambling site and maybe make some money off that.
2011  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 30, 2016, 03:32:09 AM
just bought bitcoin yesterday..the main reason is btc getting lower price and would sell it in high price and get some profit
i think that will be a good investment in btc when it hit low and buy
I just bought some Bitcoin today. The price dropped quite a bit so it is a good time to buy.
2012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Donald Trump made comments on bitcoin? on: January 30, 2016, 03:22:28 AM
Well he is very good with his finances and investments. He very well could be holding some Bitcoin.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 30, 2016, 03:09:19 AM
For me it is kind of worse than real money because I can't use it in shops. It is better for online shops though.
2014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2016, 03:05:03 AM
Nowadays, trading is very hot!..

Many altcoins are mooning and you can make good profit for them if you trade wisely...
I don't trade altcoins, the price of altcoins are always fluctuating and Bitcoin is better for trading.
2015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blocks are full. on: January 30, 2016, 03:03:51 AM
Even with all the backlog, I can always get my transaction confirmed really fast. I really have no problem.
Yeah. This backlog hasn't really had any impact on me. My transactions go through like normal.
In other words, there is currently no backlog and thus the transactions are going through as usually (if you include a fee).

-snip-
As interesting as this idea might be, it is off-topic to this thread and thus I will not continue the discussion here.
Ohhh. There is no more backlog. OP said there was and I believed him. That is great then. NO MORE BACKLOG. YAY.
I don't think that there ever was a backlog. If there was one, I never felt the effect on me.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Comes First: Block Size or Halving? on: January 28, 2016, 08:16:36 PM
We are going to have to wait a very long time for the block size limit to change. Halving will come first.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Greed - the driving factor behind 'bitcoin is dead' on: January 28, 2016, 08:03:54 AM
Exactly. People want the price of Bitcoin to fall so they can buy a shit tonne and then make the price go back up and sell.
Do people really need extra money that they would announce that Bitcoin is dead? WOW
2018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 28, 2016, 08:02:29 AM
I think sign campaign is good for the ones who have nothing better to put in the sign space...

That is why I joined a signature campaign. I want to make some extra money and I have nothing better to put in my sig space.
2019  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ballcoin price falling?? on: January 28, 2016, 07:51:00 AM
shouldn't this be in the altcoin forums?

I couldn't find ballcoin on coinmarketcap... are there even exchanges that trades this coin? Cheesy
LOL. OP means Bitcoin, he said ballcoin because the price is going up and down. xD
2020  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What are the benefits of a Xapo Wallet? on: January 28, 2016, 06:54:44 AM
Barely any faucets send payments to Xapo wallet. Just use like blockchain or something like that.
Yeah I really don''t know why people even use a xapo wallet. An online wallet like coinbase is better.
