Do you know how many people read stealing not be good but still choose to steal?
I didn't manage to find the answer though I think each of us knows the answer without knowing the percentage of occurrence.  Grin

I can tell that user pandukelana2712 is an honest person and so is the person (sup)[dewo_sat](/sup) he entrusted the BTC with.
Pandukelana2712 is a trusted user with a good reputation. He is a Policeman who serves his community and country, so I think his good reputation is worth his contribution to the forum. All of our local users know about it, but may never know his real jobs is out there if someone doesn't tell them.
2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sports and entertainment industries could play a big role in Bitcoin adoption. on: November 06, 2022, 06:58:44 PM
Dear you didn't get my point.. let me elaborate it as from sponsorship my mean or context is Awerness about the crypto and commonly crypto is only known by the name of Bitcoin so when these platforms act as the sponsor they attract local audience to the crypto market and this brings adoption from there 80% of audience do invest or do own Bitcoin as when they learn about it. Bitcoin is not a direct sponsor of anything but indirectly these platforms brings audience to Bitcoin.
Great Hamza2424, I understand even if you think I fail to get your point. But your explanation is good.

Several exchange platforms sponsoring the sports and entertainment industry have increased the attractiveness of the public to buy bitcoins or invest. I believe that this advertisement has indirectly increased bitcoin users regardless of the main purpose of the sponsorship itself, and I don't think it's something that just happened. Bitcoin is growing in popularity indirectly, and the great thing is that it doesn't have to pay any fees to get the interest of the audience.
2003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 06, 2022, 06:43:59 PM
Aston villa played great football today but seems with lot of players missing for United, they were also not in their best either. I think having Eriksen as an attacking midfielder in absence of Fernandes should have maybe supported them well in attack. Van de Beek didn't made much impact so the link was kind of broken up there. There were lot of slight lapses but Aston Villa did a great job picking on this moments perfectly.
After an underwhelming performance in the previous match, today Aton Villa surprisingly proved that they do not deserve to be underestimated even against a top team like Manchester United. This is Aston Villa's 4th win in their last 14 Premier League match, which is amazing because from the start I didn't expect Villa to beat Manchester like this. Of course it's a bad result for Manchester United and I feel disappointed about the result.

Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool won their respective matches for a tight match. Chelsea became the most disappointed team because they only won 2 points in their last 4 matches because today Liverpool came out with all their heart to win the match. After bad results in the last 2 matches against Nottingham and Leeds, then today Liverpool look very strong vs stronger opponents.
2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 06, 2022, 10:18:39 AM
As a gambler we see winning big as success is gambling, do you share and celebrate your winning story with friends ?
IRL, I tend not to tell my friends that I've won some bets for some reason. I don't want them to think negatively about me and gambling because in reality I am not a compulsive gambler although I am really curious about how other people win bets.

Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you
Sure, most of them will be very curious but I don't want to make them gamble because of my winnings.

Have you ever taught or predicted a game for someone which turn out to be a win,how big was it ?
Of course, this happened when some friends wanted me to analyze a sporting event. The win wasn't big, but it was enough to celebrate last night's party.
2005  Other / Meta / Re: Report new changes on Bitcointalk forum in this thread on: November 06, 2022, 10:07:38 AM
What about any other change on the bitcointalk forum ? Have you seen any recently.
There are several, but they may have been discussed and known.
  • The factoid slot is no longer at auction and advertises various sites other than those oriented towards forums, forum statistics and knowledge about bitcoin.
  • The OP's feature was added to recognize who created the topic when he replies in his own topic.
  • Not yet, but will soon be.
  • The rest, just modify it as you want with some user extensions.

In my opinion, any newly implemented changes in the forum will be announced by the admin. I don't know if it's important to have some sort of new change update log thread for the forum, but if it's for referencing users to know what has changed over a period of time then I think the OP needs to have the list and the official announcement.
2006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sports and entertainment industries could play a big role in Bitcoin adoption. on: November 06, 2022, 09:46:00 AM
I don't know if you have seen or not these industries are already playing an important role in the bitcoin adoption by advertising
I don't think so, bitcoin is promoted by influencers for personal gain through volatile investments. While all platforms advertised by the various sports and entertainment industries are sponsors for those who are paid to do so, bitcoin does not act as a sponsor. Bitcoin is adopted on many platforms generally as a means of payment or currency. This is a real use case for bitcoin which is a traded and adopted currency.

The sports and entertainment industry has an important role to play in increasing the adoption of bitcoin as means of payment or currency if they accept bitcoin. They are using bitcoin and its decentralization to make profit because privacy-loving people will use bitcoin as a currency instead of fiat. Bitcoin can support this industry in gaining purchasing power and convenience in terms of payments and financial transactions, but bitcoin does not sponsor them.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 05, 2022, 07:47:05 PM
Barcelona disappointed their fans by saying goodbye to the Champions League, but they continued to fight for the title in La Liga and showed everyone that this season is not over for them. Actually, they don't give me enough confidence for my betting slips but they will be playing against a weak opponent tonight. I think they will be able to take the lead in the Spanish La Liga temporarily by winning tonight...
Today Barcelona have the opportunity to top the standings if they win the match against Almeria. Barcelona are playing at home which is still very good with their record especially in Laliga, so it is clear that Barcelona will be very ahead in this match.

Since Barcelona's chances of winning are very high then I don't think betting on this match will be really profitable which may not be worth the risk. I'll probably only make about $15 profit on a $100 bet for Barcelona win, so I don't think that's very exciting. But it will be interesting to see a less than optimal result in this match if Almeria play well.  Cheesy

It is nice to also see that the people he entrusted the fund with also make the right decision by maintaining his reputation.
In the view of religion, a person who gets mandate is obliged to pay it off so that he is completely detached from all the things that are mandated. I see this kind of honest attitude supported by religious side of the user that he actually paid that amount of money even if no one on this forum ever knew that pandukelana2712 had given him the money. I believe dewo_sat because of his honesty, he deserves good reputation.

Now I wish dewo_sat all the best, he could probably learn a lot in this forum and stay longer. Thank you dewo_sat, roycilik and skarais for this thread. I've seen the reputation of pandukelana2712 has returned to the best.
2009  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 05, 2022, 07:25:43 PM
Some of the point in the OP are indeed very reasonable and it seems that these are some habits that often make people wasteful, greedy and unable to control their finances well. Personally, I somehow agree that when we have lot of money we can literally do anything and there are even a lot of people who want to be friends, while if there is no money then they will stay away. This is the dynamic of life that is always happening.

We all have our own way of managing finances to be useful for the future. Some tips and experiences of other people's success will be good to read and maybe also adopted, but our success will depend only on ourselves.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 05, 2022, 06:35:50 PM
Manchester City had a really problematic day indeed but they still managed to get the win by 2-1. Cancelo's getting that red card has made things more difficult for the team. Technically Manchester City were still much stronger than their opponent and I thought that they would get the win comfortably anyway.

But the winning goal came really late. Thanks to Haaland's penalty goal in the last moments, they won the game. It was really great to see Haaland scoring a goal right after recovering from his injury. If it weren't for him maybe this game could have ended in a draw.
The inclusion of Haaland and Foden to replace Grealish and Alvarez actually made Manchester City's game as expected. It didn't take long for Haaland to score, but unfortunately his position at that time was caught offside. But in the end Haaland really changed the mood the stadium rumbled after he scored the penalty, it was an entertaining match.

Manchester City managed to snatch the top of the table today from Arsenal, and of course they really deserve to be happy. But I don't think they will stay in this position for much longer if Arsenal beat Chelsea tomorrow.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 05, 2022, 03:51:22 PM
Manchester City still haven't fielded Haaland in the early minutes for the match against Fulham, Julian Alvarez will replace Haaland who is currently on the bench. It is possible to play in the second half considering Haaland has just returned from injury after missing several matches in the primer league and also in the champions league. Even without Haaland in the starting eleven, I don't think Manchester City will have any trouble getting 3 points from Fulham. Predicting City easy to win above 3 goals opponent with Fulham and Julian Alvarez still have chance for scoring goals.
Now I think winning will not be easy because Manchester City have to play with 10 players after Cancelo was sent off with a red card. The temporary score was 1-1, but Manchester City really played as usual with good dominance. It's just that some chances haven't been scored yet but I think it will be soon as Fulham seem to only be able to defend against attacks.

The first half finished for 1-1, so some strategy changes in the second half are likely to help Manchester City to win again. I don't believe they will drop points in this game, but of course Fulham will defend this draw well and take advantage of the counter-attack.
2012  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why there is so much resistance at $23k price on: November 04, 2022, 08:29:31 PM
I also think that way everyone will end the year with a bitcoin price of $20k-$21k, but in this month and next month I also have a little faith that Bitcoin can go above $21K if there is a better price increase in Bitcoins from now on. And hopefully at the beginning of next year Bitcoin will be at a much better price level because considering this year Bitcoin is so difficult to increase in the market, even though there are so many people who like Bitcoin.
I think all of us know that no one can really predict the future even if it's about tomorrow. Many people hope that in the next 1-2 years we will have a good opportunity to buy bitcoin because the price is still low. I mean it's still around 70% - 75% of ATH is the best price to buy although that doesn't exclude the possibility it could be more expensive in early or mid next year.

My mind is still reeling from this opportunity, so I hope I have plenty of ways to save a lot of money to invest instead of buying something I don't really need.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: November 04, 2022, 07:49:51 PM
I support the idea that the existence of exchanges is among the factor that makes Bitcoin popular, and accessible with ease.  With exchanges, people who are too lazy or not knowledgeable enough to set up and secure a wallet, are able to do that in a single step.  Besides having an exchange attracts speculators, investors, and traders to get into the Bitcoin market.  Without exchanges, I doubt that people involved in trading will be as many as today.

So basically, exchanges are very important to establish a marketplace where people can easily buy and sell different cryptocurrencies and currencies.  Without a marketplace, I doubt people will take notice of Bitcoin.
The market has impacted the growing bitcoin economy due to the ever-increasing number of traders. I certainly agree on the same assumption that exchanges have contributed to why today bitcoin is growing and becoming more and more popular among the public. Without the swap I would probably have imagined something different, but that's a fairy tale.

So popularity and accessibility strongly supported by the existence of exchanges whether it is centralized or decentralized. I support that argument.
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: November 04, 2022, 07:36:59 PM
Arsenal have seemed to be the biggest contender for the Europa League title until this point. However things might change after the teams from the Champions League join this arena.
Of course the odds will drop a bit when some Champions League teams join in. But this will certainly be much more interesting in my opinion because the title competition this season will definitely be very tight.

There are really challenging opponents for Arsenal on paper. But it is all about a prediction of course. We don't know yet how much these teams will fight for the title. One thing is certain that the Europa League will have a quite bigger quality with the additions of those teams. We might see a finale between quite powerful teams and teams that deserve the Champions League normally. For now, I see Barcelona as the most competitive team for the title. Because this time I will be expecting them to be more passionate here. It'd be pretty nice for their finances as well.
About Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax are things that will probably make the chances of the other European League seeded teams in the group stage a bit down. But it's precisely like this that you don't see Arsenal being able to relax if they want to win the title. Barcelona are a good team, but in Europe they are uncertain because of their form.
2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 04, 2022, 07:28:51 PM
I thought I was the only one to realize that PSG does not play as it should play, in my personal opinion I think that PSG have been very lucky in the games, the truth is that their stars are the ones that have taken the team forward, both Messi as Mbbapé and Neymar are the ones who have managed to get the team ahead,
It's still hard to believe someone says PSG haven't been in good form this season especially since Benfica can score so many goals in their last match. I don't think that's true because in reality Benfica were very lucky in their last match. The goal stats for both teams are the same, conceded the same and the points the same, but Benfica are a little more fortunate.

I think that now if in this phase that remains things can change, they have to face teams that are very strong and that can make the difference, if they don't want to be left behind and leaving they should all play much better, I see Real Madrid the same or stronger, like Man City, Pep Guardiola must already be studying any match and these teams are very calculating.
PSG must prove its strength and readiness this season to any team that will be its opponents. They are certainly one of the favorites in the Champions League because of their star players, but if PSG are going to meet Manchester City or Real Madrid then I think they will fail again.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 04, 2022, 06:56:00 PM
No one knows what will happen in the future, but during the current or next year it will be a golden opportunity to buy bitcoin at a low price, and therefore keeping bitcoin for 3 years will be very profitable.
If it's based on past history, then it's definitely profitable but about the future it's a hope that might not be certain. As you said, No one knows what will happen in the future. So therefore, everyone who wants to invest should first consider the risk for the amount of money can afford to lose because the first point is that no one knows the future even if we are absolutely sure that there is good potential for repeat.

It all depends on how much you invested, the amount for each month, and the return on it.
The percentage is the same, but the size of the profit depends on how much funds the OP has.
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 03, 2022, 07:46:20 PM
When it comes to seeing the performances, things might change really quickly. For example, who could have expected Villarreal to make it to the semi-final last season, right? They eliminated very powerful teams like Juventus and Bayern Munich. Especially Bayern Munich were like a nightmare to smaller teams on paper. But Emery created a solution to their style and shocked them. Of course I wouldn't like to mean like Club Brugge or Frankfurt will do the same this season. But there is always a chance for this as long as they have the right game plans for doing this. But I'm also not expectant in that way truthfully.
Club Brugge, Frankfurt, Leipzig and Dortmund probably wouldn't believe they could be up against the best seeded team of the season in the last 16. But of course anything is possible in a match and it is proven that hard work, team cohesiveness, good defensive strategy and luck will bring this unseeded team to a higher stage.

But believe me, there are a lot of things that could possibly change because we will have another big competition that I absolutely don't want to miss. Yes, it's the World Cup, maybe this will affect the team and players a little because they can also come back with a bad condition after the world cup ends later.

We might think badly of them that Club Brugge and Frankfurt will not qualify for this round of 16 but the facts on the pitch will be different maybe we don't know but for sure there will be one of the big teams that will fail in this phase.
But it depends on how the draw will take place on 7 November, if Mancity meets PSG, or Real Madrid meets PSG, it's hard to imagine if they meet and lose earlier. I'm honestly waiting for this draw even though the Champions League will be run next year.
Some tough matches can be expected, but probably won't guarantee any team will qualify easily. I have said, all possibilities are there because every team has a lot of destination in this competition.
2018  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 03, 2022, 07:21:54 PM
I believe that the future of crypto currency is strong and big, I am a long term investment myself but...
Forget and ignore what other people say and stick to your point of view. Other people are not responsible for the gains and losses you experience on your investments, so don't take whatever other people say as a guide before you do your own analysis.

Here are some reasons why you shouldn't trust what other people say:

Quote
  • There are many posts on this forum saying the crypto bear market is over, some are already saying that a pump is coming.
  • The truth is they don't know what's coming, bear market can last longer than they think, it will get to the point where many will give up or about to give up before things start changing.
  • Some holders will get bored and tired.
  • Some will even start believing that crypto is dead.

If you like long term investing, then hold to your stance for anything you can afford to lose. You don't have to force yourself to remain a holder if something happens when you're absolutely sure it's the price you deserve.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 03, 2022, 07:09:39 PM
Teams like Club Brugge and Frankfurt seem to be the most in trouble teams on paper now. Because there aren't many teams that they can eliminate among the group winners. Club Brugge missed the chance of finishing the group stage in the lead by a small difference actually. Porto have taken it from them like in the last moment.

On the other hand, Club Brugge at least seem more promising than Frankfurt. They at least have some experience in the Champions League and they might prevent a disastrous result against some of the teams. But I can't say the same for Frankfurt. I see only Porto as a team that they might be able to eliminate. But they also have recovered a lot recently. This might be the end of the road for them.
I don't want to say they are the most problematic team in the last 16, but I have to realize that they will be the unfavorable team in the match against a stronger team. On paper quality speaks for itself, and on the pitch it will be different but I don't expect these two teams to make it to the semi-finals. My guess is that their journey will only reach the last 16 this season if Manchester City, Napoli or Real Madrid are the opponents.
2020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 03, 2022, 05:35:24 PM
By the way, when does the Champions League round 16 debut start? I'm quite curious to see the list of these 16 teams
Now is the time to wait for the draw for the round of 16, and the first leg will start in February 2023 according to the schedule on the official website.

The date and time are still subject to change, but it seems I'm more impatient for the World Cup than for the Champions League last 16. The draw for the round of 16 will take place on November 7, 2022, it will be thrilling considering that the seeded team will likely have a tough opponent as there are several strong teams in the runners up.
