I added it to my pool because the profitability is high and my miners want it. If it goes to oblivion in 3 days I haven't lost much.

edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think if you fork GPL software, you have to make the source code available.

Only if you distribute binaries, and then only to the people you distributed the binaries to.

Those people are then free to distribute the source to whomever they wish, though.

A 41% drop in difficulty is not going to be enough to get the profitability to a point where people are going to start mining this again on a large scale unless the price rises.. Maybe after the second adjustment.
