2021  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone who has $1M or more in his crypto wallet on: May 06, 2018, 03:01:10 PM
why would someone holding $1M (100+ BTC) in crypto be willing to help you?
all we know you could pull a scam by impersonating as the owner of the address
when something goes wrong, the address will be marked and the real owner would get in deep trouble
That is the only logical reason the op is asking for such a deal and only fools will fall for such a cheap trick.
2022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on the Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash Dilemia on: May 06, 2018, 06:16:51 AM
Curious to see what people's thoughts are on this topic. There is a strong side of protesters who believe BCH and Roger Ver is hurting the overall market while others support their actions.

Overall the loud banter on the topic is not progressive for the market to grow, thoughts?
Here at bitcointalk we believe that every news source should have a link. Where is the link to this Roger Ver attempting to hurt the market perspective you have shared here. Or are you speculating and spreading fud?
2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: May 05, 2018, 08:55:28 PM
Not yet, bitcoin will not die this year. Stop making a statement like that you are just helping those people to bring bitcoin down. If you really believe on this thing you will say positive things about it.

One day I will be back on this thread and tell you that you are wrong, bitcoin will bounce back for sure, just wait for it.
I think that time to remind the op is now. Obviously, the op would be eating his words by now and wishing they didn't utter that statement at all. Any body in the crypto community with a little interest in historical data knows that bitcoin can not easily die but would pass through occasional rise and fall in price.

2025  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: May 05, 2018, 05:40:00 PM
at present, bitcoin is becoming known to people around the world, especially in developing countries. the majority of bitcoin is introduced through news on television and on the internet. Therefore people are starting to want to know what bitcoin is and if it appeals to them, they will invest instead?
Well the government should not be silent on bitcoin, they think bitcoin is disrupting economic stability and there will be inflation in the country.
Do you think that bitcoin will disrupt economic stability and there will be inflation due to bitcoin in a country?
Already the bitcoin news is spreading around the world and I think those in India or countries in Asia and Africa are the biggest gainers of the bitcoin discovery. The reason being that their poor economies and devaluated currencies make the little bitcoin they possess look much when exchanged. So it should be a good thing if their governments allow and for bitcoin to be made legal so that their citizens can freely trade it.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: May 05, 2018, 04:15:00 PM
There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
Your question states whether investing in bitcoin, altcoin or ico but your post above states only ICO. It looks already like you have made your choice with ICO. That too is not a bad choice if you must know. Nevertheless let me reecho the advice of many here, 'be very weary with ICOs because of the so many frauds with them.'
2027  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: May 05, 2018, 04:41:03 AM
Are we still going to ask now, why is the price of bitcoin rapidly going up? This is market force at work here and sometimes our anxiety only helps to fuel the movement either for better or for worse. Every good and objective project will always have the market decide its price through demand and supply. And this is what happens, especially with bitcoin.

2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Binance arranges competitions? on: May 04, 2018, 05:21:01 PM
That is a simple marketing strategy. In some industries it is called Corporate Social Responsibility.  It is the same way offline companies have their bonanzas or charity projects in certain chosen communities. They draw the attention of investors and at the same time cave a good image for their brands. Do you wonder why Binance is the top exchange now?
2030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading altcoins with BTC OR USDT on: May 04, 2018, 04:39:09 PM
if i trade altcoin with USDT as it's stable and equivalent to usd ,so i can get my calculations .on the other hand trading with btc isn't that much profitable or sometimes not profitable at all if btc price gone down
I believe that every altcoin should be traded against the bitcoin rather than the USDT. This isn't stocks or forex trading where the dollar is always paired with other currencies. In crypto world the bitcoin is the supreme pair. However, the USDT can be used to hedge a trade during expected fall of any crypto it is paired with. It shouldn't be a regular thing.
2031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you keep your private keys?? I need good ideas!! on: May 04, 2018, 03:06:13 PM
Certainly, the best and safetiest way of storing  the private key  is to put only in your mind. In this way you can surely protect and secure your private key. Only you should know this, you can't misplace it and no one can stall it. Probably  you can also store it into the place and/or in the things that very important and memorable to you. Therefore , you could easily remember where you storing i
So you think senile dementia is a myth right? You can be a little bit tactical and say you keep the private keys in your pocket too. How about that? It doesn't sound wise right? That's how your point sounds too. No disrespect here. I am just trying to say people easily forget with time.

I have had a splendid 10week run or thereabout with this campaign and the entire team. It was a wonderful experience. However, I have to move to another and deemed it a responsibility to alert the campaign manager here of this. Also, let me quickly remind the CM that I am yet to claim the allotted coins as I am yet to get the android wallet. I hope I get it before this campaign ends. Pls Notaek take note.

Thanks.

2034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: May 03, 2018, 08:36:03 AM
It's not the quantity of price increase it's increase in volume. For bull market we need more buy orders with higher volumes.
This explanation captures it for me. I always look at volume both in trades and exchanges before I buy in or register. Volume is key because it alerts you of what coins investors are putting their money on. Low volume means lack of interest and that will bring about low buy orders. With that, the bulls trend won't start.
2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🚀💥🚀[Bounty] Bitcoin Crown => 4 Weeks, 10,000 ETH to Reward.🚀💥🚀🔥🔥 on: May 01, 2018, 01:55:12 PM
The weekly rewards look nice but what guarantee is there that the tokens will worth anything close to the pre-set price when it hits the market. The momentary fixed price is just the devs assumption. Again, why would a bitcoin tagged crypto run on an ethereum chain?
2036  Economy / Services / Re: Docademic - Evolving Healthcare Signature Campaign. 30 Slots. Upto 0.01btc FULL on: May 01, 2018, 11:07:14 AM
When are we due for the docademic tokens? It is over a month now since campaign closed or am I the only one who has not received the token yet? I asked this because I saw another signature campaign thread opened for docademics.

They'll apparently be sent out after the crowd-sale in early April.
Nothing seemed to have changed. I am still waiting for my tokens even after April.
Who need those tokens anyways? They are worth nothing.
You never can tell when they will be worth something in the future. Just like your iost was worthless a few months ago. But look at where iost is today.

Yes, the price is so low for this bca token for a single 1 dollar, it's a pittance, what people got for bounty is ridiculous
That is the risk involved in getting paid with unrecognized altcion (I don't want to say worthless coins). It is always a miserable end.
2038  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things? on: April 28, 2018, 08:43:05 AM
I dont know if it is just me or others also experience it. I always set goals financially, set limits in spending and trying hard to save but most of the time no matter how i tell myself to refrain from spending in unnecessary things whenever i see something i really like even if i dont need it i cant resist buying it that cause me to regret later. Are you familiar with this situation?
How do you like a thing and not want it? You statement is kind of hard to understand. For me, I only buy things I like and can afford. Sometimes I like a thing but it might be out of my ability to buy. So whatever I buy, I don't see it as an unwanted spending or unnecessary. Life is too short for this kind of regret.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best cryptocurrencies of less than 0.5 USD on: April 27, 2018, 09:26:09 PM
If you are looking for cheap coins under $0.5, then you should consider coins like Experiene Point (XP) or Allion (ALL). Though I don't really know how viable they are now.
2040  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 27, 2018, 10:48:37 AM
Just by using your phone, you could purchase almost anything. No need to withdraw on an atm. No more heavy coins on your pocket. Paying bills, and purchasing tickets without standing on a line. Very convenient and less time consuming. I know we're already using credit cards right now, but using a single currency like bitcoin world wide could really help on transaction, having less error than the normal and faster transfer and of course the security. Do you guys think this could happen in the future of bitcoin?
This total cashless society thing is why bitcoin won't be a generally accepted mode of payment because it is not going to even be possible. I mean, there are people who can't deal with the internet because of their illiteracy level. How is that now going to happen when not everybody can read and write? Besides bitcoin, fiat can't even achieve such cashless feat.
