2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why long-term trading! on: June 13, 2018, 06:15:57 AM
In my own opinion, long term trading is more profitable than short term or day trading. In long term trading, you are more relaxed when there is fluctuation in price because you know by the time you decide to trade, you will at a higher price and earn big profit.
While I agree in Long Term trading is more less stressful since you almost don't care about the fluctuation, day trading can yield more profits than long term trading. Lets say you buy token today and hold it for 1 year (365 days) is it possible that you can gain 200% profits after 365 days? In day trading if you are careful and your appetite for profits are low, you can earn 1% to 2% per day. There might be bad days within the year but hitting 200% profits for day traders is possible with careful selection of coins or tokens to buy.
2022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading or Online betting? 2k Usd budget. on: June 13, 2018, 06:05:14 AM
I would go for Crypto Trading if I have a spare $2,000 USD. I know that in online betting, you have at least a guide on which one have more chances of winning because you can tell by looking at the odds, but still the risk and returns are not worth it. Example is during the NBA finals, if you place $100 USD on Golden State Warriors against Cavs, you'll gain only $8 USD as the odds are -1220 for GSW. However, tables might turn during the game and Cavs may have pulled a win, after the game, your money is gone. Unlike Crypto Trading, if your investment is down by 5%, just HODL on to it and wait for the right tome to Sell it with profits.
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 11, 2018, 04:01:22 AM
The season is over, I want to ask from your opinion here if there is a big chance that Lebron will leave Cleveland and what team he will join.
I request the OP of this thread to make a poll if this is possible, just to know the majorities opinion here.
Looking at his body language in the finals, I think he will leave Cav's. He looks very frustrated with his team. Just look how he looks like when on the last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter, he started congratulating players from GSW and giving fist pumps to his fellow Cav's payers. There are news that he might move to Houston but its still unconfirmed. For Cav's. removing Lebron from their roster will leave a lot of space in terms of salary cap for new players as we all know Lebron is one of the highest paid.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse July 15 2018 on: June 10, 2018, 04:07:04 PM
Not related to Pacquiao vs Matthysse fight but I think if I mention the Jeff Horn at least that rings a bell. Well Jeff Horn had a title fight today with Terence Crawford. Unlike Jeff Horn's fight with Manny Pacquiao, this fight ended in the 9th round with Terence Crawford raising his hand in victory. I guess the only way to beat a boxer with 3 judges and a referee behind him is knock him out.

Anyway, going back to Pacquiao vs Matthysse, I heard the the ticket price is expensive . Starting at $125 USD to $4,900 USD considering that there are no titles on the line and fight is not in Vegas. I'll just wait for it in free TV of someone will try to broadcast it in Facebook live.
2025  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: June 09, 2018, 03:39:48 PM
Yes
like bitchain, Coin.Space ??
or
mobile phones read qr code via camera and show the qr code decode.
Then, I got the BTC wallet then input it manually ?
I just tried to make a withdrawal a few minutes ago to check if there's an option to scan a QR code but unfortunately there's none, all It asks is enter the BTC address manually where we wan't our funds to end up. So I guess your best option is move your funds first to a mobile wallet like Mycelium then withdraw at a Bitcoin ATM.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: June 09, 2018, 03:31:55 PM
How can the government discover I own BTC, let's say I'm from Venezuela where crypto is banned, what they can do to discover and arrest me?
I guess when you start using a local exchanger to convert your BTC to Fiat thats the time you expose yourself as a Bitcoin user but as far as the Government can trace your whereabouts to make an arrest they need to dig deeper on your personal information so they can start looking for you. In my country a local BTC Exchanger needs to be registered in the Central Bank. If you plan to create an account to a local BTC Exchanger, you need to provide a government issued ID. Some Banks in our country will ask the source of funds, meaning, where do we get the money that we will deposit, if we say coming from Bitcoin trading, there's a chance that they will not allow you to open an account.

I've already got an ip ban for the second time for 6 days.  The first time I was helped by an appeal in support. I do not break the rules, only one tab is open. I saw how the ban ip got himself a moderator in the chat. Yes it helped reboot the modem. I can not yet reboot. This is problem !!! And it must be solved. Dozens of people get a ban for unknown reasons, which did not violate anything - it's abnormal !!
There has to be a reason why this keeps happening to you. I suggest that you send Bitsler Support a PM and give him brief history of the actions taken to your account and the current problem that you encounter now. Hope your issue is resolved soon. Here's a link to Bitsler Supports profile to send him a PM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=668840
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 09, 2018, 02:59:08 PM
Congrats to GSW. Look at that Swaggy P got a championship. Also kudos to Mcgee everytime he enter the court he is doing good. No one can beat this team in best of 7 series as long as no one will leave. Lebron got swept twice now in Finals. If he want to stand a chance against this team, he should leave Cavs.
I don't think leaving Cavs will be the answer for Lebron to win another Championship. Keep in mind that Cavs is the best in the East, they beat the other teams leading to the finals. Instead of leaving the team, I think what they need to do is change their game plan. The reason why GSW is great is because almost all can contribute to win. No one is in the limelight, everyone is working. If one player is having a bad day, another will stand up and finish the game.

On the other hand, Cavs only have Lebron doing the job, yes other players are contributing too but the burden is heavily relied to Lebron. Clarkson used to be a good player back when he is still with Lakers but Cavs is not utilizing him that much. I don't know if that's how Lebron want's it or that's how Lue wan't it.

How can I withdraw BTC with QR code at bitcoin atm ?
Do you mean you want to withdraw your funds in Bittrex through a Bitcoin ATM? I don't think there's an option to scan the QR code where you want to move your funds (Bitcoin ATM) and withdraw. You need to move your BTC funds to your mobile wallet first then from that point you can withdraw to a Bitcoin ATM since you can scan a QR code from your mobile wallet.
2030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: June 09, 2018, 02:33:10 PM
For those who are planning a safe investment - now is a very good time for buying an ethereum. You can not buy an ethereum at a price lower than now. Smiley Smiley
Its kinda late actually, Ethereum goes down to as low as $520 USD then it will recover like what we see now but buying at $600 is still ok because it can go to as high as $750 USD or close to $850 USD. When price Bitcoin goes up you will notice that price of Ethereum will follow. Also. take into consideration that there's a lot of ICOs out tehre that still prefers Ethereum.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 09, 2018, 04:15:24 AM
There you go, GSW sweeped the finals 4-0 which makes them the only team to sweep the finals 2x. Cavs also made history being the only team to win nothing 2x in the Finals.

I guess the next question is where is Lebron heading to, there are news that he might opt out of his contract and go to Houston. Lets wait and see.

Good thing I didnt bet on Cavs to win on game 4
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 08, 2018, 09:08:18 AM
Like what they did last season or might be, they want to set a second record that sweeps the finals. GSW can do it, like what James said comparing their top five players to GSW. It's very different.

Anyway, Chris Bosh said Lebron might sign with rockets. I don't think Lebron would fit in Rockets because of Harden. For me, it's better if he stay in East and join Sixers.
This 2018 Finals will surely be one for the history books. If Golden State Warriors sweep the finals, they are the only team to sweep the finals for 2nd time and Cleveland Cavaliers will be the only team to win nothing in the Finals for the 2nd time. Record shows that on 2006-07 Finals San Antonio Spurs beats Cleveland Cavaliers 4-0. If Cleveland Cavaliers makes a comeback and win all remaining 4 games, they are the only team to make such an achievement.
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DinarDirham - A Gold Backed Digital Currency on: June 07, 2018, 07:50:41 PM
The site is very slow today, I can't process a P2P transaction. Other users are also experiencing the same problem with the site. I hope you guys can resolve this. Also, I am interested in getting one of those physical DNC that I saw somewhere in the net, can you tell me who to contact so I can buy one of those?
2034  Economy / Gambling / Re: betcoin.ag removing any negative opinions on: June 07, 2018, 07:34:35 PM
I use Betcoin.ag for sports betting before but just like what others said, after reading negative reviews and feedback specially that guy who was not paid I stopped using their site but once in a while I still visit their site to look at the odds and compare with other sites but not for gambling. their signature campaign in this forum was popular too and pay is good.
2035  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: June 07, 2018, 07:19:26 PM
Don't use bittrex.

I made a deposit of aprox 10K USD in crypto and because of their technical problems the deposit didn't get credited as usual.

Now they tell me that they have to manually check it and that it could take a month or more and this if it finally gets credited, maybe I "lose" my coins, they don't assure me that it will be credited even having blockchain tx id proof.WTF

This is unacceptable, avoid this exchange at all costs.
That's a very heavy accusation there and a big amount of money you lost. Do you have screen shots of your back and forth conversation with the Bittrex support team stating what you just posted? I never had deposits problem with Bittrex before, only out-going transfer of Altcoins to another exchange site but incoming deposits? That's weird. Hope you get that issue resolved as soon as possible.
2036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Competition ideas for crypto exchange on: June 07, 2018, 07:07:40 PM
I think the proper way of promoting an exchange can be done by signature campaigns which can create more attention and if you want to invest more amount of promotion then you can hire high quality participants which can be good for you.

No I didn't join any trading competition but I am doing altcoin trading is short term but not in a huge amount.
Signature Campaigns is a good idea in starting an awareness campaign but keep in mind that signature campaign is limited to this forum only. There's also Twitter campaign and Facebook campaign. They can also hire someone to write a an article about the site in a Blog. There are other sites as well with high traffic volume of Cryptocurrency users. Never heard of such trading competition even in real world trading.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for advice rolling with 100k sat balance.. on: June 07, 2018, 06:53:05 PM
I think that 100,000 Sats is enough to join the Bitsler 2018 World Cup Contest considering that you have an active account already with Bitsler but if none, just try visiting Bitsler site and you can check and play moderately with that amount. Here's a link to the  Bitsler 2018 World Cup Contest to know more about it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268718.msg39533417#msg39533417
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: June 07, 2018, 05:00:32 PM
Ethereum
Litecoin
Dash
Some one borrowed BTC from me a few months ago and uses those 3 as collateral but unfortunately the guy who borrowed BTC disappeared and did not payback so I am stuck with a few bags of Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash. So instead of waiting for him to get this coins off my hands I'll just use it in Bitsler. No I don't use BTC to gamble, for me thats too expensive.

2040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit? on: June 07, 2018, 04:51:34 PM
If you're saying that if you know what you're doing than the risk is smaller then I agree with you.
Risk is always present in trading but you can make it manageable if you do a research.
Even if you do research you are still vulnerable to lose money. Cryptocurrency is classified by real world traders as high risk because of its volatility. They will not even advise you to try trading in Cryptocurrency but instead they would offer you to use their platform to trade stocks. I have attended 2 or 3 trading seminars for stock markets and they don't even wan't to start a topic of discussion about Bitcoin. However, I earned more profits in trading in Crypto than stocks.
