2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When choosing an online casino, what do you look for? on: February 07, 2016, 04:35:42 PM
One thing that draws me in is whether or not they have a welcome no deposit bonus especially with new sites, this gives you the chance to get a feel for the site before making a deposit.  A good selection of slots and also Poker tables with more than just 5 or 6 players are an attraction for me.
2022  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin mining lottery on: February 07, 2016, 01:51:24 PM
It will be interesting to see if we get lucky and hit anything, some of these groups are quite lucky and have had success.
2023  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Bingo on: February 07, 2016, 01:45:37 PM
Bingo is not that popular with bitcoin, true there are a lot of women and elder people that like a game of bingo.  It could be a good entry point into bitcoin for this group but for now I think you will only find a couple of bingo games around.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌟Sportsbetting🌟 -- 🌟Doublers Everyday🌟 -- JOIN ME🌟 on: February 07, 2016, 01:42:39 PM
Will be interesting to see how your first bets go, if all goes well this might be something to be part of and follow, let's hope you are lucky.

2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favourite gambling game ? on: February 06, 2016, 08:30:24 PM
There was site ages ago that had the 2048 game and rewarded winners in bitcoin, it is now dead but that was a great game and very addictive I would love to see that again, I see you have opted for blackjack which is a good option for mass appeal.
2028  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin/Altcoin slot machine on: February 06, 2016, 06:40:41 PM
I have a suggestion to the site, could you please add an automatic spin button. So that people won't break their own mouse by clicking that spin button Cheesy
An auto button is definitely a must for slots, then the player can just leave it running in the background, nice game though and a shame you have to give it up.
2029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 06, 2016, 12:39:57 PM
I would have to agree and say it is involved on the same way any form of currency is, the majority of news about bitcoin tells us as much.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Airdrops 1 Million BTC to the Poor on: February 06, 2016, 12:36:49 PM
That's a nice idea and it really would have been something if that was a secret plan with some super secret code but it is highly unlikely.
2031  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best free/paid tipsters? on: February 06, 2016, 12:15:51 PM
I have seen a few topics on here with some tipsters, I haven't really followed them too closely but would suggest if you do try them out just stick a small bit on to test the waters.  End of the day you could be better off just guessing and you may have luck on your side.
2032  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New online store that accepts Bitcoin exclusively on: February 06, 2016, 10:00:43 AM
Nice idea and accepting bitcoin is a great move, I would be interested to see how many customers you get as my wife was doing something similar a few years ago but not for bitcoin.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does sports betting works ? on: February 06, 2016, 12:05:10 AM
Say, a betting will take place on a soccer game score. Does people bet against each other or bet against house ? If they can bet against house, then how does house calculate its odds ?
Most places are against the house, sports betting allows you a lot of different options and varying odds based on your overall bet.  FYI I think just the UK had a ban on bitcoin gambling sites unless they have a license so if you are based outside the UK you will have a lot of options which sportsbook you can use.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sport To Gamble on: February 05, 2016, 11:55:01 PM
Horse racing is a favourite of mine, not made any huge profits but it is fun to be part of, football or soccer over here is also a good one to bet on.
2035  Economy / Gambling / Re: Holy Grail - Sportsbetting Strategy on: February 05, 2016, 11:49:04 PM
Let's see how your horses go tomorrow, I love the horses and if you get all those in an accumilator it'll be happy days.
2036  Other / Archival / Re: How can i increase activity and rank of my account on: February 05, 2016, 06:00:34 PM
Spend time in various topics and contribute where you can, in no time you will find that your rank has increased and you have learned more about bitcoin and the crypto world along the way.
2037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 05, 2016, 02:31:41 PM
That it some jump from 2010 to the current price, only wish I was around at that time!
To get to the $1000 mark again I would think 2020 would be about right but $10,000 is hard to imagine.
2038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that Satoshi is still active on Bitcointalk.org? on: February 05, 2016, 02:19:46 PM
I would like to think that Satoshi still pops in every now and again to check on anything new and interesting that might be going on, this forum is one of those places where if you have been here once it's kind of hard not to keep coming back Smiley
2039  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-02-05] EU COMMISSION WANTS TO END BITCOIN EXCHANGES’ ANONYMITY on: February 05, 2016, 11:52:49 AM
I think making everything leagal is better for all.

It would certainly help towards more mainstream adoption anyway.
2040  Economy / Speculation / Re: EU is about to end bitcoin anonymity. Price reaction? on: February 05, 2016, 10:17:27 AM
I don't think this is as bad as everyone thinks, one of the things that is holding bitcoin back in my opinion from mainstream mass adoption is the fact that it is associated with a lot of dodgy dealings, I know myself when mentioning it and also when it has been in the news it is never as positive as it should be.

If that stigma of it being 'illegal' can be reduced or removed I would envision a lot more people taking it seriously as a real use currency.
