2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: July 13, 2016, 06:52:27 PM
There is always a big risk of losing investment when we talk about gambling sites, so just play with what you can afford to lose, to avoid the worst risky cases.

That's why i find it very wrong to invest in a gambling site.
Not only does it seems too risky I seem it unfit as a profitable investment because from birth I distrust anything that has to do with gambling.
Well, its good for those I guess who gamble and loose all their money. They are still gambling after investment but not with house but with players. So actually it doesn't matter if you love or hate gambling, but investment is always better than gambling. Yes though I also agree that losses occur while investing money.
2022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin as fiat money in all online games on: July 13, 2016, 07:13:31 AM
I would not deny that the possibility is high, considering Steam, as one of the largest gaming community, has already adopted bitcoins as a form of payment. So, bitcoin sooner will be available in each and every gambling site.
2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 64 more halvings to go for bitcoins on: July 12, 2016, 07:53:18 PM
Being an average Joe, as per my understanding, halving has nothing to do with survival of bitcoin system. After 21M bitcoins mined, the block reward would be zero. So, there will not be any possibility for further halving (assuming 1 satoshi still not divisible then too). But new blocks will be kept on created with zero newly generated bitcoins.
(miner's reward would be purely tx fees, that could be even more than 500 or 1000 BTC based on tx volume)

Only number of bitcoins are limited. But new blocks will be keeping coming unlimited for every 10 minutes till this universe (or internet) survives. As long as new blocks are generated there will not be any worry for bitcoin ecosystem.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: July 11, 2016, 08:19:53 AM
Yes in my eyes betting on sport is gambling, and its in my eyes also officially connected to it due to the fact that you need luck and you are betting on something and on what does not matter in my eyes.
Its all about luck with gambling and if you are betting its gambling and this is no matter what...
For me also, when you bet or gamble is same because without luck you cannot win any type of game or bet.
Sites are not stupid to offer odds on a event and hence you need luck to win it.
2025  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2016, 04:48:25 PM
i was thinking to try earn something with sportsbooks, but i dont know if it's really works
I thought to get rich from gambling is a phenomenon it is today. because very few people can
become rich from gambling. you need great luck. if you do not have the luck is better not to approach gambling
Well, that's the problem. Luck is not something that you can improve by training your skills or something because it is luck. Gambling is not really a good choice to make profit.
2026  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old people earning bitcoins on: July 09, 2016, 09:09:02 AM
Hello guys,do anyone here know's some old person's who actually make bitcoins by investing them or i dont know,by signature campaining ?
I was wondering about it for some time,i just never heard about someone older than 45 years and making bitcoins.
I have my own uncle that earn a lot of bitcoins and in fact more than me by doing some freelancing jobs, he is actually very good in coding things and get projects and get paid in bitcoins.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High bet amounts or low bet amounts? What is your style? on: July 09, 2016, 08:31:40 AM
If I have a big bankroll I do bet high amounts at dice then YOLO, it's just a one time big time roll, it's a risk but it's fun. Sometimes it doubled the amount of winning I bet and sometimes it will lead to the consequence, loss.
You are great mate because you are taking the risk for your fun. If we roll big bet and if we lose that bet means I am sure we will suffer for that. Because we are not a real time gambler. Yes, i am also played for fun, but I will not risk like this. If I played ALL In and lost that means I will get hurt lot it happens once so after that I never tried this. I will go for an only small bet.
To be honest what I have got till now with all in a single bet is just loss. Whenever i try to bet a huge amount in a single go that always gives me just loss. So, I also prefer small bets.
2028  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 08, 2016, 08:27:19 PM
In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?

I would like to be paid in Bitcoin Smiley but i doubt i would be seeing that service anytime soon; we currently have economic recession and also living in a developing country not many people are still yet ready to accept Bitcoin. I tried talking to my boss the other day about Bitcoin but he just thought of it as fake internet money. Still got a lot to learn...
There already are some kind of companies that has bitcoins as form of payment. I just don't remember what company that is and where it is based but I definitely read an article about that somewhere.
2029  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: July 07, 2016, 08:08:32 PM
Yeah I have bitcoin and PayPal acount also but I never use PayPal now because itsore I like bitcoin and for me bitcoin is more good for transaction than PayPal and much easier
I do too. I have both bitcoin wallet and PayPal. One reason is solely because not all things that I want are readily available to be bought with bitcoins. There are just some sites that I am really used to buy from using paypal.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 06, 2016, 06:10:38 AM
So after reading this article and especially the ending:

Quote
One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands.

I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin?

And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it.

The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy?
i think most people dont trust bitcoin etc because:
1) its a new thing pretty much, people dont trust new things
2) its in web, people dont trust anyone in web too (in most cases)
3) Its too pretty to be true? a lot of my friends thinks like that
how can you say that the price of bitcoin are stable now. you can see that on previous day the price of bitcoin reached to 700 USD and on next day the price decrease to 650 USD. now the rate is again touching 700 USD. So how can we call it stable i think it is a flexible rate and t a stable one.
Well, that reply was made on October 2015 and the price was indeed stable at that time so your argument is totally invalid and I always believe only those who are buying bitcoins for long term holding might worry about the bitcoin prices and that may stop them from their actions. To use bitcoin, stable nor fluctuating prices are not a concern as you are risking only very small negligible amount.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 04, 2016, 08:07:41 PM
My main reason is always making profit on gambling and for fun is my last thing on gambling. Because if you lose on gambling, it's not fun anymore.
True though many people will hide this with terrible lies, you only love gambling when you win and when you loose you really can not be happy. So, we all are from inside at least gambling for money and fun is just additional.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 04, 2016, 07:54:40 PM
I believe that gambling will not fix our life but I wish that time will come it will, that would only happen when I will hit a jackpot lottery with a millions of winning and I promise you guys you will never find me their because by that time I will be a focus investor who just put my money in my wallet.
I thought it might be a gamble to do that. you have a chance to hit the jackpot or the lottery at any gambling site. nothing is impossible in gambling you still have that possibility my friend got 3 BTC of jackpot in jackpotracer. suppose if he uses 10k satoshi amount or more likely he'd get 30 BTC

I think evening getting optimistic for winning a bet is bad, and you guys are getting greedy for the jackpot which is almost impossible to hit on certain sites. So, better do not rush for jackpots at least.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 04, 2016, 07:37:58 PM
For me gambling has very big problem when can't give up it and continuously losing money for very little hope after this i will get recover all my loses, yes that kind of thinking is very big problem and that is so many people think it is totally wrong.

My thinking is often like that. Always chase the wins then tell myself I'll stop after breaking even but I never do. That leads you into bad situations and you can only blame yourself
Who else can we actually ? So yes its completely our mistake. I have the same tendency too, I once lost money get frustrated and try to recover that from more and more bets and unfortunately leading to big loss.
2034  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 09:44:47 AM
High Prize, FAST,Anonym,Instand,Fee Cheap, recognized at the world.

I forgot the price and the low charging fees that bitcoin is giving to it's users. And that are also the things that I like with bitcoin.
Unlike other sites that offers remittance they are charging very high amount of fees.
With such transparency and such security, I think surely bitcoins have become the world's most moved internet currency ( among the ones who know it ). I think its a proud moment to be a part of the bitcoin community.
2035  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: July 01, 2016, 10:12:48 AM
I think that i will try to get loan from bank or just lend some money from my family or friend, i am sure that somebody would help me in situation like this.
Chances are a family member or friend would be able to bail you out if you were really desperate for money, but I don't know what your family's financial situation is like, so I have no idea if they would have the funds to spare.

Personally, I'd probably just go and take a loan. It would be much simpler, and I could probably get more money than I would get out of my friends and family, if required.
That depends on a person's nature, some people prefer to take a loan while some people consider loans the worst thing and prefer to work for the money they need rather than asking loan. I would have asked loan too though.
2036  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 30, 2016, 07:17:44 PM
for saving money ..firstly you sholud to not spend money extra ....money spend only where necessary...or need .. then you can save money....
You guys might find it funny but what I do is give my friends loans ( the friends I know in real life ). This way I can not spend those bitcoins and earn small interest too at the same time.
2037  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 29, 2016, 05:05:24 PM
You can become rich by simply holding the bitcoin for a while, I think holding itself is already profitable if you are just holding enough.
If not rich then surely you can double your money at least if you buy now and sell the same amount of coins once halving is done. So, the best option is if you have no other skill then just hold and sell later.
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: June 29, 2016, 04:55:27 PM
i think i never leave the dice then how can i come back when i am already here. and engage in gambling. i am such a strong decision taker and committed person that when decided to stop gambling then i will never come back in the world of gambling.
Well, what he meant to ask was, once you have lost a big amount of money ( we all have lost that ) why you come back the next day to gambling ? Simply because you are addicted or you miss the fun you had ?
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you spend your gambling winnings on ? on: June 29, 2016, 04:37:20 PM
Games and outings with my boyfriend ^^
Hehe he is amzed by my magic money. Lol
I should get him in on the action. So he can buy games too.
Hahaha very nice, I think I also spend money I earn with gambling on vacation outings and such, though no GF yet dear, you are lucky to have boyfriend. I hope you win a lot like me Tongue
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: June 29, 2016, 02:15:13 PM
i think aproximately it ranging from up to 1.5M u its only up to 2M
im not exactly sure about it,its only a guess Wink

I think it is between 200,000 to 500,000 users. We have about 800,000 users account here, but I think we just have about 100,000 unique users.
That is how many users actually registered here, but in actual there are tons of people who actually are not a member of forum. So, its really impossible to guess the amount of users using bitcoins.
