2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 11, 2022, 09:40:17 PM
Congratulations Nigeria, although I have problems with the nonchalant attitude of the African football sometimes but today's match was great, and it was even better when Nigeria came out winners, I think people are blaming Mo Salah too much there was nothing be could do the Nigerian defense was solid today and he is only but one person, once again congratulations to my country hope there repeat the same thing in the next match this Time with more goals
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 09, 2022, 09:13:42 PM
It works This way, when ever there is a bull run, many self proclaimed dev and team would jump out to create a project and then most time pay to get it public, it's a normal phenomenal and it would not stop happening, it is fast becoming only by a stroke of luck to get a profitable new project, they are mostly tested during the dip, and holders aren't strong the self off quickly thereby crashing the price.
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 09, 2022, 08:46:51 PM
Best performance I have seen from Juventus this season, I think the deserved the win, although the conceded goals very easily they still kept it strong in their attack, milan still leading the league table with a match more than inter in second, I think the league is more competitive this season although, so many drops in quality players and coaching staff across the league, I like that fact that it would be unpredictable this time around, but I would put my money on inter milan to come out champions.
2024  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: January 09, 2022, 06:56:13 PM
There is no fact to prove what you saying is correct. Maybe a coincidence, and I don't think the rise of Bitcoin and alt-coins has a pattern it's meant to follow, I have seen some coin do better than Bitcoin in the bull in term of the multiple times it went up, but facts remains no alt-coins would compare with Bitcoin in being solid, alt-coins can do well in the bull run but many washes away during the dip, it's not really certain especially when you are holding a new coin regardless of it did well during a Bull run, it could easily be washed away during the dip
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying right now? on: January 09, 2022, 06:44:53 PM
Hi guys, Bitcoin has dropped to 41,000 again, and all altcoins are with it. So this is a good opportunity to buy some tokens for a good price right? Share what you bought and why?
What about me, i bought a couple of fundamental tokebs that showed good growth during the fall of Bitcoin: NEAR, LINK, ATOM
Many would say this is the best time to buy more even projects that is dieing out in people's portfolio would still expect them to get more, to survive here you have to work with smartness, this buy more in the dip and hold is a plot mostly used my team, devs, shillers and community of new project, so you ought to be careful not every project that when in to the dip actually comes out, right now I am not buying any coin yet If I have the capital it would be Bitcoin.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia post office now accepts Bitcoin on: January 09, 2022, 06:05:18 PM
I see this as a much needed improvement to Bitcoin and crypto-currency adoption, Australia has always been a country that I consider to be free spirited, and the government aren't to Ridgid, honestly speaking it would take more than another country slowly adopting crypto-currency before other join, I believe some current government in sit who has no interest in crypto-currency first has to leave the sit, my country for example may not adopt Crypto-currency on a national level on till the present government vacates the sit.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 09, 2022, 05:12:43 PM
Well am impressed with the first half score line between Cameroon and Burkina Faso, I think it was entertaining and I least expected that in a nations cup game 3 goals would be scored in the first half, I really hope other African nations cup game goes this way, but I am predicting a win for Cameroon although this might be their weakest first eleven in recent generation, they would go far but they should be out probably during the quarter finals or so.
2028  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: January 08, 2022, 11:20:47 PM
As d matter be so. Make we try to the relate fine for this our forum so that we at least achieve our aim of getting our own board.
I just d think of ways way we go come together to celebrate our achievement so far for bitcointalk forum. Im go make sense, once in a year we go host guest together party for everybody to celebrate and know one another. If na gbedu of any kind you invite everyone to come jollificate with you
I like your opinion, and it sounds great, but make we no forget say this na crypto-currency not everyone go one show their face, like some go like dey anonymous even if they are legal and decent members of our group, so make we no make them feel bad, and get together can be an off forum discussion, for now I think say we dey do well, and the community dey move but I still repeat am make we no spoil am with diverse language other than the ones wey we initially agreed.
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: January 08, 2022, 10:56:00 PM

There are only two people who would really experience these stuffs which there are gainers and there are lossers and we know that we've been through lots of trends on which
we could really see that this is somewhat been hyped which means people do really have that FOMO feeling despite on looking for its actual relevance.Im not saying that NFT and
Metaverse is shit but dont let those hype blinded you on and be always wise on taking such step specially in investment matters because you wouldnt
know on what would be the next trend.
I appreciate your honest opinion, but I don't share the same sentiment, although I am not involved or committed yet to NFTs and METAVERSE I don't think it's shit, I was watching Justin Bieber performance on the METAVERSE platform and I honestly thought it was cool, there are a lot of potential that NFT has for artists, content creators and just a random person, so definitely it has utilities, but in terms of being an investment I think it's now competitive and would keep getting more competitive till it becomes a billionaire game
2030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: January 08, 2022, 10:42:59 PM
Hi guys, I've been reading this thread, but I want to know one thing from you, obviously if you have experience when it comes to metaverses, since experience with normal NFT games has resulted in most being a complete unsustainable scheme where the devs throw the game to die taking all the money, because they do not know how to maintain an internal economy, how the metaverses can be managed successfully without becoming an unsustainable scheme? in what way can it be? It's hard to trust metaverses if your devs are the same ones who have made unsustainable NFT games.

My honest opinion about NFT and METAVERSE is that many people had earned so much from it, when it was new and some others are still earning from it though but right now it's a game of huge money, many celebrities, and influencers are throwing in big bucks to purchase some making it gradually slipping out if the hands of the ordinary man, but there is hope some few are still gaining well from it but it has just gotten difficult.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 08, 2022, 10:01:39 PM
Leicester showed character beating Watford 4:1 after they went down early enough, I think Leicester has the team but they keep failing to cement a good spot in English football, I think they would go far in the FA cup and hopefully they can win it, it was an exciting FA cup today no much suprise for me, Chelsea bran through chester field by 5: 1 been a while Tuchel's men scored that much a good FA cup round for all the English premier league teams let's see what they do tomorrow again.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 08, 2022, 09:48:59 PM
Is sad seeing Barcelona losing the three points they need very much the ending stages of the match, right now I doubt if anyone is against Barcelona what they are facing is pity from neutrals, I think they don't have a game anymore and it's all about them trying to see they can get the three points or a draw, never thought I would see almighty Barcelona at the point ever, it's a painful draw because Real madrid are at this time wining Valencia by 3:0 I doubt if barcelona has eye on the Spanish laliga title which is already beyond them
2033  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My new year advice to crypto newbies on: January 08, 2022, 09:16:15 PM
1. It's always good to follow your heart and nothing else, struggle till you break through but always know your limit

Great advice you have given tk the newbies and j honestly hope they see wisdom in it, but amongst all this was the one I have some issue with, actually, following your heart isn't wrong but following you heart alone has caused many to fault or make mistakes, rather I would highly recommend they don't only follow their heart alone but also they follow their heart and medulla oblongata, AKA brain.
2034  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My 5 months newbie experience on: January 07, 2022, 08:32:28 PM
Congratulations on your five months on the forum, you have done well in this months so far a d that's why you have achieved such level of development on your rank and Merit, but don't feel lazy just yet, and I think you need to work more on yourself, don't join the bandwagon of those giving advice they aren't following, build your self first, grown then you can now give advice out of experience, you have potentials, but don't follow a trend that would set you back, once more congratulations.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 07, 2022, 06:03:07 PM
I would also not expect too much from Manchester United in this season if I were a Manchester United fan. Because it is already obvious that they are going to need a long time to recover and reach a high level in their performance. We saw their performance against Wolves too and it was horrible. They can still end the season in top 4 though but it seems really difficult as long as their nearest competitors play like now. But if they make it, even this would be a big success for them considering their performance.
Manchester United fans thought that the signing of cristiano Ronaldo would change their fortune but unfortunately it didn't and the choice of their new Coach was baffling to me, I don't see Manchester United coming to the UEFA champions league next season they aren't playing like the air Alex ferguson Manchester United, and they have alot to do to regain that status once more.
2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 07, 2022, 03:58:35 PM
Buying and owning 1btc above now already show that you are rich, and had the purchase it, but other than that owning any BTC like 5 yrs before now show you had invested in it when it was low and you had watched it grow so  if you own 0.01 Btc five years ago you would be rich by now, and if you buy same amount today and keep it for the next five year I can vividly assure you that you would be rich, Bitcoin and crypto-currency makes millionaire with time, so all you have to do is buy that amount of Bitcoin right now and hold on to it, your riches would be unlimited.
2037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is unsettling, for those who don't have it on: January 06, 2022, 09:27:41 PM
Congratulations mate on finally adopting Bitcoin, but let me share my opinion with you, joining crypto-currency should not make you quit your job, as a starter you need that finance to give yourself a strong hold in cryptocurrency main big whales are still running their companies and has not quit their jobs, also if your bank has ever taken you finances you need to sue, and also don't drop your guard down here in crypto-currency many scammers exist here you have to be very sensitive than ever before, this is the hard Truth you should know.
2038  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: January 06, 2022, 08:51:03 PM
Please aren't we going to cause confusion with adding other languages to the board, make we no forget say Nigeria get more that 200 languages spoken, imagine if we come one flood here with indigenous languages, my own opinion be say the pidgin wey we dey speak we be the language apart from English wey everybody can ready understand, this extra language go cause division, we no need am. This na new year and we are happy about the development we get last year, make we no spoil am with unnecessary things like adding extra local languages here go dey divide.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 06, 2022, 07:51:51 PM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?
Wrong assumption is getting spread Everytime the more someone says it, another person is passing same news across, the FEDS aren't the cause of the drop, I don't see how that's possible, their are catalysts that effect drops beyond what the current news and happening in crypto, and besides many people don't mind this dip and are already capitalizing on it, gone are the days anyone is to fear a drop in Bitcoin or crypto-currency.
2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 06, 2022, 07:27:41 PM
just checked the quotes and there is no clear favorite

Senegal 6.5
Algeria 7.0
Egypt 7.0
Ivory Coast 8.5
Kamerun 9.0
Nigeria 9.0
Morocco 10.0

It looks like it's gonna be an open tournament, at least from the final rounds on. It seems the groups are clearly divided into good and not-so-good teams...
Although I am an African the football game in my continent is very poor. Checking how far the African continent has been in football, I feel by now there should be necessary improvement in many areas but that's not the case, I am not even excited anymore about the African nations cup I would only watch it out of patriotism apart from  that the level of game action doesn't excite me anymore.
