Didnt it say that the promotion end already based on the 2nd last post?
Yes, round one of promotion indeed ended. But they currently started round 2. Which means refund is basically still going on.
You can see the details in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1456127.msg14782529#msg14782529
2022  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are Venezuelan not switching to Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2016, 12:30:58 PM
Because you can't buy your groceries and gas with buttcoin
You can buy everything with bitcoin. But we are not on that level yet. Venezuela is not ready for bitcoin, and as much I wanted to help them by introducing bitcoin - it won't help the whole country.
Bitcoin for now is supplementary currency, more of a commodity or speculative tool that real money usable in everyday. Definitely not a cure for national crisis.
2023  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟2016's Best Bitcoin Gambling Site Award!🌟 on: May 07, 2016, 12:23:55 PM

Thanks for adding sportsbet.io .

I know that now is too late to make so extreme changes, because too many efforts is included in this thread.

I'm not sure when you would like to close this poll..? but maybe in July we can make three threads (or more) with same event, but for every type of gambling separately.

Like i wrote before it is difficult compare dice game to sports betting, don't you think?
I'm not sure what connects these two types of websites? Probably only support is possible to compare, and maybe marketing skills if we take it as subject of assessment.

Such a proposal to consider .. Wink

There is plenty of time left. In fact as stated in op this poll will be closed in April 2017. So people will still have much time to spend on voting on their favorite gambling sites.
Also one question: Why there is no Moneypot in that poll?
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ALL IN!!?? on: May 07, 2016, 12:16:45 PM

congrats on the win, you are so lucky. but how can you accidentally click on the max bet and still bet, all the dice sites have some kind of preventing mechanism to prevent their players from going all in with accident.
for example in primedice you should click multiple times and confirm you want to bet max.
Absolutely, primedice has a good features for the safety of your bets, even in the earnings from faucets and you want to bet all you need to confirm first before the actual roll. Maybe that site really want to fast pace the betting of an individual to gain more profit.
on 2014 if i'm not wrong primedice don't need to confirm if want to bet on max. correct me if i'm wrong but sometime when i tired to playing dice,i put on max bet then just click on single roll and no need to confirm it first. or maybe i'm wrong  Grin
I think they adjusted it  because they are now more concern with the gamblers due to reported some addictions in gambling, they want the gamblers to think twice before pulling the trigger, LOL Grin

Maybe they just want us to gamble responsibly.
Gambling is irresponsible by nature. You can't change that - you test your luck and pray for positive outcome.
What you talking about is simply anti missclick system. It is not so rare for people to type bet amount wrongly with manual betting.
This feature prevents errors like these.
2025  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recent Price Bump on: May 07, 2016, 11:55:21 AM
Trying to put a finger on the nice increase recently...
Some possibilities:
Segwit going live
Open Bizzaar up and running
Steam BTC acceptance

Other thoughts?

open bazaar is good for bitcoin, same with steam, so it rises price, but i think this huge price rise now was because of halving, it is a almost main reason why price rises

lots of people know about halving now, and they know that price should rise, maybe to new ATH, so lots of people buys bitcoins now just to sell them later and that rises price
Segwit is still far away and I doubt people even consider it at this point. Open Bazaar is nice technological demo of decentralized market place... and that is it. For now.
Steam acceptance from the other side was huge deal. The biggest online gameshop finally embracing Bitcoin - it boosted Bitcoin credibility to the moon imo.
2026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DRAW bet of the day on: May 07, 2016, 11:40:06 AM
look like is a good strategy as most odds of draw is above 3, so you need to get 1 win in 3 picks and you still got profit...

OP, how about this, find a match that Home team / Away team is without draw in the past 5 games (or more like 6 or 7), and pick that match...
Just to clarify some things. You are not betting in this way - ever. It is textbook example of gambler's fallacy - thinking that team will most likely draw when they didn't in last couple matches is huge mistake.
It is the same when you play roulette and ball hit red 5 times in a row. What is the probability of it hitting black next? It is not higher that it was during last 5 rolls, but most people will bet on black anyway.
2027  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: DUST LOTTERY ★★★ HAPPY HOUR TRIVIA ★★★ Free Ride to win 32 BTC ★★★ on: May 07, 2016, 11:26:17 AM
I checked your site Op and I found really peculiar thing. Bet History Table with Last 100 bets. How this is possible that all of 100 recent bets are lost?
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 07, 2016, 11:19:39 AM
I am quite sure Leicester City will handle Everton very handle because it need it much to win today than before, i have very good reason to place my bet on Leicester City because it deserve there, i will support Leicester City for this match too.
It is simple. Leicester City is better a team this season. Simple as that. With 77 points they are 7 points higher than second team - and 33 over Everton.
Today's match is pure formality imo + Leicester is playing on their home stadium.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is no life in Gambling can you accept this....?? on: May 07, 2016, 11:10:18 AM
I heard that, it is better to have permanent income that it to be exiting. Don't try to earn money with gambling. A gambler plays even when the odds are constant and always against him.
There is no 'knowledge' in gambling there is only wishful thinking and anticipation of positive outcome.
2030  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: May 06, 2016, 01:08:56 PM
My real life friends ask me all the time what I recommend to do with their free capital - and my answer is - buy BTC.
I am not recommending to sell everything you own and buy BTC but buying couple BTC with your spare money is heck of a deal and everyone should own at least 1 BTC.
2031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to End Government and Change the World on: May 06, 2016, 12:37:18 PM
Good video, definitely they are talking about some vital problems and bitcoin could be a cure for some of them for sure.
But what pains me is some comments under that video on YouTube:

Isn't Bitcoin OPEN SOURCE?? Are you aware of what that means?? Good work, but yikes!, I'll pass on BC.

People are still living in the dark and have no idea how bitcoin works, what open source is and why bitcoin is secure, in fact more secure that FIAT ever was.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: May 06, 2016, 12:22:34 PM
Signature campaign is not easy job and its need more knowledge about bitcoin and other thing related in the topic.. before they can start posting.. and yeah its from signature earnings we are using im not using my real job earning to gamble.. some of bitcoin earning just to try my luck and having fund sometimes but not all my earnings spend in gambling because i am waiting for more increase price of bitcoin to use it in the future.. or to start a new business online..
It is interesting that you are not finding your signature payment real enough and think about it as different kind of income than your 'real life' FIAT payment.
Which is rather strange for me. But I've seen may people who think similar. And in the the end is good that people have clear gambling budget - and gamble by their own set of rules.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is no life in Gambling can you accept this....?? on: May 06, 2016, 12:02:22 PM
Play with your SPARE money, never go ALL IN. How many times  I need to repeat this - my real life friends are the same, they can't understand that gambling is either 0 or 1.
Either you lose or win. So try not to lose everything you have only to be crying later.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: i win every day some btc, it's easy on: May 06, 2016, 11:59:29 AM
they just posted that because of this post they fixed it.....

next time you find a winning bug its best to keep it quiet lol

(unless you were just advertising the whole time)
Isn't Op said that he is admin of that site, so it was his advertising all along his own service?
Moral of the story is - don't play on unknown, new gambling sites without testing if first, also working verifiable probably fair system implemented is industry standard.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 06, 2016, 11:40:22 AM
Gambling is a problem only if you are suffering from your excessive hazard problems, you lose money you can't afford to lose and your personal interactions with family and friends is weakening.
But aren't almost everyone addicted to technology? Can you live without your smartphone, laptop, PC, internet, television etc? Maybe gambling isn't the worst problem?
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: i win every day some btc, it's easy on: May 06, 2016, 11:28:43 AM
Hi,

I win every day some btc, it's easy with http://rollincoin.com

I know secret.. need use bet HEAD only.

really works.
OH man don't spam the forum with fake statement and claim. So us what proof you can show us about your winning. I have seen lots of loss on head bet in the site and also site script look fishy non professional. I don't gonna place bets on this 90s type of gambling site. Grin

see my proof

but here not only my bets.. I use Head
You are telling us something totally different from what you are actually doing. From this screenshot we can tell, you are not betting on heads only as I clearly see bets on tails.
But if this game is probably fair and it is coin flip simulator then there is no way that betting on one side would guarantee your 100% win ratio.

2038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you waiting for Halving??? on: May 04, 2016, 02:11:26 PM
We are waiting for it whether we want it or not. It is approaching - I feel that correct question should be - if we are waiting with hope of price of BTC being significantly increased in the process.
And as Bitcoin crowd I don't think we have many people here who don't want BTC price to be doubled or tripled...
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: May 04, 2016, 02:03:15 PM
The only bet you can win for sure and win everytime is current case of dr. Craig Wright - on VitalBet you can bet whether he is or he isn't real Satoshi Nakamoto.
I will be sure to bet that he is not the deal deal.

2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on Dr Craig Wright proving he is Satoshi or not! on: May 04, 2016, 01:56:55 PM
I bet that he will not provide any valid proof that he is the real bitcoin founder, he is just another troll who like to be in the media.

Let's face it if he is the real deal he would allready posted here under his real nick Wink .
Posting here is not like saying that he is real. Bitcointalk account can be hacked a lot easier that Satoshi's public keys.
And AFAIK Theymos blocked Satoshi's account after that last security breach, so no one can use it anymore.
