that how its not controlled by some jerks who have it all ... and how it is controlled by community .... its transparency and anonymity
Yes it is controlled by those jerks, they are commonly called whales in here.
They manipulate the market prices of Bitcoin very much.
They just want a good news for Bitcoin and they increases the prices.

2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going to happen to Litecoin price? on: August 12, 2015, 02:12:22 PM
As litecoin halving is very near so there is a huge pump expected because everyone will know that the litecoin mined in the blocks will be halved and with this reason the pump and dumpers will take benefit of this.
2025  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: August 12, 2015, 01:27:15 PM
Trade coins
Make signature campaigns
And dice sites
The first thing in your list is good for investment.
The second is a safe heaven for most of us.
The third one is not at all for all of us. If you want to loose money then dice games is the best thing, in my opinion.
2026  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: August 12, 2015, 01:19:10 PM
I`d throw in some NXT, Monero and DASH aswell into that retirement portfolio.

Btc is good, but NXT and Monero has much more ROI%.

If NXT hits it right, then it can single handedly generate your pension!
By watching your confidence I can risk some amount of my Bitcoin into these projects.

But there is a huge risk that these altcoins will fail like all others and I'll be one of those bagholders.
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you didn't get paid for your signature, would you still care about Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2015, 01:16:52 PM
so wait, you're telling me people are here ONLY because of signature campaigns?!
No it is not that way.
You can see from the poll that most of the people have said that yes we would care about Bitcoin.

But without signature campaign the daily posts here on the forum will be much less.
2028  Economy / Economics / Re: This is how 0.037 Bitcoins looks like in Venezuela on: August 12, 2015, 01:07:33 PM
Then everyone there should quit their daytime job and get into 100% Bitcoin.
Even me can make that much in one week and I'm only part time in Bitcoin.
And hero members will be treated as millionaire there.
2029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you didn't get paid for your signature, would you still care about Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2015, 12:56:37 PM
Yes then also I will be willing to get bitcoins even there will not be any signature campaign present.

But then it would be boring to post on the forum.
Now we know that we are paid for posting so it's fun.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you think is the world’s bitcoin center? on: August 12, 2015, 12:48:06 PM
According to me, it is Paris.
Because approximately every shop there accepts bitcoins and we would have not to convert our cash into other currency.
And even customs cannot see that how much money we have brought with us.
2031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: August 12, 2015, 11:50:09 AM
It's just simple,  buy double the amount you have brought initially to reduce the losses and make a profit if odds are with you.
There's a saying that everything that goes up always comes down and vice versa is also true.

Some call this strategy "martingale" (in respect to trading). It is one of the best (if not the best) ways to lose money. And not only at gambling. You never know when and where the price will hit the bottom...

Since if you did, you wouldn't rely on this strategy in the first place
In gambling if we loose a bet then it's all gone from us and never come back.
But in case of trading it(altcoin) still remains with us and all we have to do is cut off the losses or if we have enough patience then earn much more of what we have invested.
2032  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: August 12, 2015, 11:46:20 AM
Pardon my ignorance, but what is signature campaign and how can i earn btc ?
Signature is the space under our reply.
There are many websites which give us money to rent our signature space for their advertisement and you can find a signature campaign here
2033  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: August 12, 2015, 08:27:22 AM
I did, then I lost it gambling. Don't do that, it never ends up well. Ever.

Same here I had more than 2 BTC, but again the greedy nature came into play, to make it double quickly, and lost everything in gambling, It was hard to accept that I lost my 2 BTC in a single day, But then I bought some bitcoins and again gambled  Grin and recovered my 2 BTC and since that day I haven't gambled I have kept my bitcoins safe in cold storage  Cheesy
Nice luck.
I recently deposited into bustabit and lost all my btc in greed.  But it was not that much, it was around 0.055 btc.

This Sunday again I'm gonna invest that much and also aiming to get my btc back along with some profits.
2034  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: August 12, 2015, 08:21:49 AM
I liked everything about bitcoin, but it is very easy to get the bitcoin
What do you mean about "but" it is very easy to get the bitcoin ? Lol
It is not that much easy to get bitcoins.
We have to invest something to get anything.
Nothing comes free.
We invest time in doing signature campaign or faucets to get bitcoins.

Exactly, you need to spend hours and hours to earn bitcoins, and it is not easy to do, yeah if you are a rich guy then you can simply buy it by spending fiat on it, but the point everyone cannot afford to buy bitcoins, the best way is to earn bitcoins by signature campaign or faucets, and it is not at all easy.
The faucets are not feasible for earning money.

The amount which faucets pays weekly is so much less that we can make more than it in a day via signature campaigns.
2035  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2015, 08:20:21 AM
I started using bitcoins recently.
Currently I'm a student and also don't want my parents to spend money on the games and some things like it for me.
So I started using Bitcoins to earn some pocket money and buy the things that I like.

Even I started using bitcoins in april 2015 when one of my friend introduced me to bitcoins saying that it is a future currency and you can earn some bitcoins weekly by getting into signature campaign, I was very much surprised and was happy too that it would take care of my basic expenses and pocket money, So I bought bitcoins and joined signature campaign to earn bitcoins.
Why did you buy Bitcoins in the first place.
If you wanted to earn pocket money then you should have just joined signature campaign.
Buying bitcoins is investment.
But yes nice decision.
2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin Crash Gold? on: August 12, 2015, 08:10:38 AM
Bitcoin is never going to replace gold. It is a good alternative, but it is not intrinsically the same. Both have their benefits.

That is right, bitcoin is a new to the world yet, and gold is ruling the world since its inception, Bitcoin can never replace gold, but the only advantage with bitcoin is that you can carry any amount of bitcoin in your digital wallet, even if you are travelling across the countries, whereas gold is something that can catch an eye of customs if you are holding in a bulk.
Now a days we can also store gold digitally.
Then also customs can not get to know that how much gold we have with us.

But getting Bitcoin cashed out is a big deal because not much merchants accept bitcoins and which does have also trading fees.

for me, open resource and decentralitazation is the future
and also that no goverment can control it

Not only that, still some more best reasons to use bitcoins like
There are no chargebacks
Fast transactions
It is very safe - People can’t steal your payment information from merchants - If you use credit cards to pay online one need to provide the credit card number, expiry date, and CSV number into a web form and these can be easily stolen from merchants side.

Yes that's why it is written on the merchant site that we are not responsible for your private information leaking.

Even if the connection is https but still their database can be hacked, and worst things are keyloggers because Bitcoin wallet is also not safe when our own system is hacked.
In order to prevent this we should use virtual keyboard.

2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum dump starts? on: August 11, 2015, 06:41:31 PM
I am lucky enough to not be able to buy etherum.
Now I feel sorry for those who brought it at manipulated prices an now are watching the prices going to ground.

I was lucky enough to buy Ethercoins when their price was at $0.66 before Ethereum announced it's frontier release. Now I can exchange those Ethercoins for Ethers and still earn some profit.  Cheesy
Yes you are lucky and all those people who buy in early in an altcoin and cash out at the time of pump and dump are also lucky.
But who come late in in becomes the bagholder cuz every pumper is gone by making decent profit.
