2021  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: September 20, 2016, 07:33:52 AM
If you can afford  to lose it and if you're willing  to take some risks , I would certainly buy it, especially  now at such low prices...

Then you must buy bitcoins today already because the price is going to increase for the next days. And you are planning to invest for long term I think that 1 bitcoin is already enough if you are going to be a good trader and you able to grow it for longer time. But it is better if you are going to add some more capital to it.
Good time to buy is not always when there is a price fall back, there are many factors to consider when we are buying bitcoins, like now when the price  continues to increase sometimes it is good to ride, I was able to make profit on that even in a short period of time.
2022  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: September 20, 2016, 07:20:41 AM
I use it more for investments, it has been quite useful for this purpose. But for purchases, I have not used that much, except on rare occasions, buying games on the Steam service, for example, which is now accepting Bitcoin.

Neither do i use bitcoins for purchases, mostly the reason for that is it is not accepted anywhere in my country nor i can buy anything online with it as the shipping fees are a lot and i cannot afford it, so i can simply use it as investment or convert them to fiat and then use them which i'm going to do soon.

Yes shipping cost is a big headache in purchasing anything online, so I have dropped the idea of buying online using bitcoins, mostly I prefer to sell them and convert to fiat when I see higher price.
i think you can also use bitcoin directly in your local market for shopping if you have the facilities of using it, and if there is no facilities in our area mean no one is ready to accept bitcoin in your local area for shopping then you really need to introduce bitcoin in your local area, so that people may start using it and hope that after some time you will be able to use bitcoin in your local area for shopping.

it is easy to buy in local market if there is available store but i think for now its difficult to find that store because not all store in offline or online will use bitcoin as payment.

and for me, i use bitcoin for long term investment and for convert bitcoin into fiat so i can use the real money to buy something in my city. but if there is a store offline that will accepted bitcoin as payment, then i want to try it and want to visit for regularly.
It is not necessary for me to see stores that will accept bitcoin for my own satisfaction because I am not a spender, I usually save my bitcoin for my future and I consider it as one of the funds allotted for my retirement, slowly saving but consistent will make me reach once success happens.
2023  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: September 20, 2016, 07:15:30 AM

I don't think that bitcoin will replace money since to me, bitcoin is a form of currency and not as an investment. I hope that more sites will use bitcoin so that I can use them there without using a debit card.

I doubt it too that bitcoin is going to replace the current currencies that we are using. Because if we are going to think about it. It is still a young currency and people are going to doubt it because everyone of us has their own standards regarding on how we are going to trust something. But I think this is going to happen for implementing cashless society, but not now.
Everything is just a dream, it will never happen because bitcoin will remain an online currency that is unregulated, I would only be happy if bitcoin will be popular and the price will increase so my investment will grow but I will not anymore hope for that to happen.
2024  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: September 20, 2016, 03:50:43 AM
I do not know, maybe. in 2016 the price of bitcoin getting up and hopefully in 2017 and subsequent years will rise continuously. we all hope so

If we see higher price at the end of this year then we can expect that it will be followed in next year too, but as there are no upcoming events, I doubt that price will go higher.

For sure that is going to be an indication that next year is going to be a good year of bitcoin. And when whales in the other industries are going to see that bitcoin is making a loud noise then for sure they are also going to adopt bitcoins. And if that happens that is going to be another success for bitcoin because more and more are adopting it.
I am sure once we are in 2017, there will be a thread to be created stating 2018 is the year of bitcoin. I mean, why not just conclude that every year is the year of bitcoin, we have been seeing that every time and their is no doubt we will continue to progress.
2025  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2016, 03:47:23 AM
Taking into consideration  the current high volatility, that will probably  continue for some time, I think  the alts market can be  one of the few places where this  is possible in  a few months... But before investing  be aware of the risks,  which in fact are high...
Doubling your bitcoin is good but you cannot do it with bitcoin waiting for the time to increase substantially as it will not come easy, you need to wait for longer time before you see it, but there is always an option, invest your bitcoin in ETH, when the price will begin to fall back, the trend is consistent and I am sure you will make money.
2026  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 20, 2016, 03:44:06 AM
Saving money is not that  hard but it can be hard when  you do not make much  money then it looks like saving  money does not really  works out.. But even when you  cannot put much money  on the side it is still  smart to do that.
It is only hard when you are not focus on your goal, it is actually easy as long as you have something to save. Regardless of our status in life, we can always save a certain amount if we include that in our plan, saving constantly will always help us in time of trouble.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: September 20, 2016, 03:36:22 AM
my strategy gambling is marti
martingale is literally the worst thing you can do while gambling because most of the time it is going to make you lose a lot of money

Since only luck can bring us money in gambling. All other strategies will work only in short time or even single time so don't waste your money in finding an effective strategy instead just enjoy these games sometimes when you're free. Invest some other places to earn money but not in gambling.
Why only luck? so you do not consider the knowledge and skills in gambling, I think you will increase your chances if you have those and luck is just a gift for a person to win in gambling in a good rate, but there are days that you are not lucky so it is better if you have the skills as you can minimize your loses.
Of course knowledge is also important because without knowledge in gambling you will end up losing more of the time, when you are gambling you need to understand the game so you know that is your advantage and how would be your approach.
2028  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 20, 2016, 03:21:41 AM
I use bitcoin for both, as currency and as investment. I use bitcoin for currency because i do trading and gambling using bitcoin and i use bitcoin for investment because i also hold some bitcoins until the price of bitcoin increase.

Well all of us uses the bitcoin just like the way you do.  It is better if we use bitcoin as currency to buy our needs and as investment because it gives us another way of doubling the value or amount of bitcoin.  I would never use my bitcoin for gambling as it is such a waste of time and bitcoins.  There is no guarantee that you will be able to cope up with the loss of bitcoin after a bad day.  Gamble the amount you can afford to lose.
Investment will do good for me, I don't actually cash out my bitcoin when I do not really need it, I learn to control myself since I am optimistic that the future of bitcoin is great, therefore my actions is more on savings and investing rather than spending.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 20, 2016, 03:18:14 AM
Gambling usually it is always wrong and is not meant as a way to make you rich or to make you money but rather the other way around which is to make money to the casino, the house.

If you play little money like 3% of your monthly salary or even less and this amount is an amount you can afford to lose than there is nothing wrong with it. You are playing to entertain yourself.

If you play in an addictive way you without thinking about consequences for yourself, family and the ones around you then in this case gambling is totally wrong.

If you can't control yourself and have an urge for gambling you need to quit immediately and ask professional help. Google it, there's tons of websites which can help you.

That's what makes the difference. If you play for fun and use small amounts of money, there is no harm for you.
If you try to be professional and gamble daily with large amounts of money, it's a wrong career choice.

Going to be a professional gambler is not a wrong choice of career since you are shifted into that career. It is just going to be wrong if he is going to lose all of his assets such as properties, cars and well as he is not able to be a responsible person for his family. Then that is going to make gambling wrong because he is doing it wrong.
You will not become professional if you are not good in gambling, and when you choose to make it a profession, there was already an assurance in yourself that you can make profit in gambling, for me, I believe that most of the gamblers who profited are those professionals.
Exactly, some people claiming they are professional but in reality they just want to sell some of their services or picks actually to transfer the risk to the punters and they will continue to receive profit at the expense of the others, just all your self a professional when you can prove you are making money in gambling.
2030  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: September 20, 2016, 03:11:18 AM
Yeah, it is worth for  me, because some  of my business transactions are transacted  using btc, also the payments of some  of my bills, thats why btc has been very valuable, in my opinion.
Some but not actually all because we are in the state that people are not yet familiar with bitcoin, they only know and trust the fiat regulated by the government, but as we are earning bitcoin, this is worthy to us because we consider it more as an investment rather than a currency.
2031  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money on bitcointalk? on: September 20, 2016, 03:07:05 AM
If you have trading  skills, btc/usd pair. If not, try to learn or hold  for the long term. I recommend  avoiding cloud mining  sites. Good luck with that.
Cloud mining investment is definitely a waste of money, you have no assurance if business really existed, anyway this is just my opinion but if you love to take higher risk you can do what you want but at least I have warn anyone here about that kind of business.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 20, 2016, 03:03:50 AM
Best thing to do is to  search for another hobby that  is going to keep you busy but  will cost less money than gambling . If you are able to do  that then I am sure  that you are going to  be able to quit  with in not time...
Any hobby wold help you as long as it is not related to gambling, that is the way to stay away and since we have unique interest but I would recommend that for someone to quit of stay away in gambling, he should focus on sports and productive activities in life.
2033  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: September 20, 2016, 02:57:05 AM
I used in various sites for investment and buying online stuff but after losing lot of bitcoin Scam site i had stopped spending bitcoin. Now all i earn and gather bitcoin and keep all those on hold so that when price will rise i could sell asu higher rate and make profit out of it

That is the right move, just keep your bitcoins because overtime the value will increase, I commend you for not letting your dreams down although you experienced being scam, let us work together and spread the good news about bitcoin and witness it grow.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: September 20, 2016, 02:53:18 AM
This is opposite from topic "How much can u win with gambling?". Well I`m on zero again, I`m looking how much I can win with gambling but actually I`m tryin to calculate how much can i lose. It`s always small amout`s but after many times this several small amount`s becoming one big one. There is some crazy stories on internet about people that have it all in one moment...
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/active/mens-health/10976770/Online-gambling-how-I-lost-my-wife-children-and-750000.html
And this guy started  with almost nothing and made almost $500,000 gambling with Bitcoin, then he lost it all in about 60 seconds. https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1ch7wb/

So pretty simple question, how much can YOU lose with gambling?

It depends on your self tolerance in gambling,

You can't actually compute how much can you lose, especially if you are an avid gambling player.

If you want to regulate your money and want to know every penny that comes out of your pocket, then it is recommended that you set an amount to put at stake every week or month.

In that way you can compute how much you can lose.
You can lose up to the last centavo of your money if you will not stop gambling even if you have already been losing big, the control is really very important and that is to minimize our loses and to get the right entertainment in gambling, excessive gambling can never do good.
2035  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2016, 02:46:23 AM
my plan is be publisher , although not much advertisement site and we all know it pay not much , i can learn to be publisher and want to try another way to get rich
It is definitely a good plan if that is your passion, nothing can stop us if we love what we are doing and with our passion it would be easy for us to achieve our goals as although there are many trials along the way we will sure fight it to succeed.
2036  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 20, 2016, 02:43:04 AM
It is important to invest, when the investment has great potential. But I think it is a good decision to also have reserves, because you may it need in the future and this can make a difference.
This is the reason I don't invest my 100 earning. I always prefer to hold some money in my hand or my wallet for any urgent need.
investment is good and recommended from me but you should always keep a part of your money with you and invest only whatever you can afford to loose..
whenever you invest prefer your self for loose also. not only hope for profit.
What you are talking about is called liquidity, a person cannot invest 100% of his money, some of that money needs to be in cash, that way even if something happened you will have a way to cover your expenses besides there are some investments that require a particular set of months or years and if you withdraw your money you will do it with severe penalties.
Why would you focus on that kind of investment when you can do it with bitcoin and you will be able to withdraw automatically you if you wishes to. Investing alongside with continues savings will always generate a good result therefore we need to discipline ourselves on that.
While this is a bitcoin forum and I do understand the excitement over it, the reason some people may look at other investments other than bitcoin is simply because there are other investments in the world besides bitcoin, bitcoin is a great investment, but if someone wants to buy gold too, then that is fine it’s his money and he can do whatever he wants with it.
Of course we can choose where to invest because in the first place that is our money and we should put where we are comfortable seeing it and I think bitcoin is the most transparent investment as you can monitor it on a daily basis and that is more important.
2037  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: September 20, 2016, 02:36:31 AM
nothing savety doubler site
double site only hyip scheme ponzy, your invest you can get lost your money

if save your money you can trading, but your must have skill
but not doubler return can under 200% or over 200% this can
Well, I think you are right but if you really wish to double your money just do not invest it as it will not happen easy, you need to manage it and make sure you have the skills to grow it, the only thing I can think is to use your money in trading.
2038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: September 19, 2016, 09:24:18 AM
Nope I did not put all my money into the bitcoin because of the fact that is just stupid to do  in my eyes.
Its not worth to put all your money in it, it stays a investment and it can still fall down.
I agree, if we put all our money in bitcoin that would mean we are putting all our wealth at risk, bitcoin is not for savings
but for investment and every investment has a risk associated so we only need to put the amount that we can afford to lose.
when i do something i will go all in for sure but with the bitcoin you need to know the right time to go all in because you can lose allot of money by going all in with the bitcoin.
The right time is now, we are still in the early phase so it is just right to put our investment for preparation of the future, I am optimistic that it will be a big success in the future, so we better put a big amount on our investment in bitcoin  but not all of our resources of course.
2039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: September 19, 2016, 09:19:21 AM
Quitting wont make you better it would be more profitable to continue with small amounts just take one btc and keep trading with it.
If you keep going at it then your bound to start making profit one day, you just have to practice more then you did.
It is the only last option after the long unprofitable trading, of course if you are continuously making loses the best thing to do is to quit and accept the reality in order to minimize the risk of losing more.
2040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: September 19, 2016, 09:15:15 AM
I earn some from trading but not much I think till now in my whole trading career I earned +- 10btc but this is over the course of one year.
It's about a year ago I started and the first month was kinda hellish as I was just analyzing everything and reading but now I can make some profit finally.
Experience is really the best teacher, not all the technique is written in the book, if we know the secret we can surely make more money in trading and sky is the limit or we will make unlimited amount of money depending on the total bitcoins we want to risk.
