2021  Economy / Reputation / Re: Rest In Peace Becky666 on: June 03, 2021, 02:28:27 PM
RIP @Becky666. you are very active in the gambling discussion board, so it's easy to notice you, however, I didn't notice you were inactive already and I just see this thread and was surprised you are already gone in this world. I hope you'll live in peace in another life, and thanks to OP for making us aware of it.
2022  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is our last hope for financial independence - John McAfee on: June 03, 2021, 02:11:13 PM
We never know what will come in the future, but once we always follow the centralized part, we will never have independence as they will always control us. Think of this, in the future it will all be a digital currency, but it's still under centralization, so the best way to compete with it is the decentralized part, as long as there's commerce, it will survive and the rich will invest on it.

He is right on his point, good thing he does not promote a specific coin, crypto is a broad market in general though.
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 03, 2021, 01:27:18 PM
@YuginKadoya, there's no such thing as an absurd line, you just choose which side you'll bet, that's it.

I believe that Floyd will easily win the fight, that 1.09 odds is easy money, bigger than the interest you'll earn by putting your money in the bank, my only worry is, what if Mayweather will intentionally lose this game?
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: June 03, 2021, 12:48:48 PM
Low odds are not risk-free, it only has a high chance of winning but it does not guarantee a win, in fact, if you are just betting on low odds all the time, it's guaranteed that you will still lose in the long run. You gotta be smart man, look at where the value is, whether it's the favorites or the underdog, just make your own research before putting a bet, don't rely too much on the odds.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 02, 2021, 12:56:29 PM
Poor LeBron James that’s two games in a row his teammates have all but disappeared on him. Chris Paul took a bit of a hit tonight that might hurt the suns going forward. If the Lakers can’t get some help around LeBron James though it won’t matter. Hopefully Anthony Davis comes back soon it was really obvious that he was missed tonight.
loosing Anthony davis during the playoffs series really hurt the team, its not that lebron can't carry the team but, if any team loses a part of the team that have impact, it will really change the way they play, because its their rotation, they will need to adjust immediately which is very hard, especially the are in the playoffs, but if AD can play in game 6 we might see a game 7.

Really huge for the Lakers, we have seen how the Lakers without him in game 4 and game 5, they have no answer on the Suns' offense, in short, King James can't carry the Lakers anymore, they need AD and AD is really the best player in the team.

There's still plenty of time, if Davis could return in game 6, then it should give the Lakers a chance to win, but I'm not sure they'll play the same energy they do in game 2 and 3 as Davis lacks practice and he is not fully confident when he comes back.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Student Coin Speculation/Discussion Thread on: June 02, 2021, 12:17:00 PM
Those calculated scammers made me waste my effort and data promoting them for 12 weeks and getting peanut in return,  I don't  see anything deserving in their site,  they are cheaters and will always remain so,  the question remains at what stage will the Student Coin Team rug pull and run away with investors money,  this is a scam project and soon investors will learn from hard way.

We can't easily see it in the price or the volume as they have money they collected during the ICO, they can play with it and some might still try to trade.

as of now, the volume is still at $2 million, that's good already but the price is not improving anymore.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/student-coin/

if they'll scam right away, they can do that, so we better be ready and just don't gamble on trading this coin.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 02, 2021, 11:54:21 AM
We also have to add that Clippers two best players Kawhi and Paul George are shooting very high percentage even at road and they started to blend and adjust. They can allow Luka to score if they want, and cut the support, just like what they did in the 2 games that they are in the road.

Luka needs help from guys like KP, he can't go it alone scoring 40 or 50 points per night. And now that he is not 100% and on the road games, it makes it difficult for them to salvage their series against Clippers.

KP is the problem here, he is not consistent and they are allowing the Clippers to score in the paint area.
Both Leonard and George are so athletic, they have the height so they can go inside and score.

With the way the Clippers are playing, there's a big chance that they will win the Western Conference finals now that the Lakers are struggling.
If the Clippers will win in game 5, this series will be good as over already.
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will SHIBA INU going to reach $1? on: June 01, 2021, 02:39:12 PM
It won't reach $1, I will not make further research regarding the project, but looking at the supply, you can already tell that it needs to be successful big time in order to reach that price, even Elon Musk can't help that.

For now, I think don't expect too much towards $1.

Even in the future I believe.
2029  Economy / Reputation / Re: The AdkinsBET Army of Alts on: June 01, 2021, 02:20:16 PM
I'm wondering how long the 1xbet signature campaign will last when all of their participants have a negative rating. This is an experience for them I believe, and if it will be successful, then other gambling sites with bad reputations might follow the system of 1xbit.

They are now live in their first week, some campaigns have a trial for at least 1 month.
2030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 01, 2021, 01:28:09 PM
Without Joel, the match is more balance as both and defense are much equal, unlike with Joel, Sixers have that huge edge 7 ft
who can carry the ball and shot outside,..

Would be exciting to watch in the first round, even if the Wizards still won the next game, I think they can't still come back in this series. Hopefully, Embiid will be back in the 2nd round, he is really needed as they will be playing a better team than the Wizards, it should be The hawks.

It's unlikely that the Wizards will upset the 76ers here.

I saw a good game in game 4, but they are not dominating the 76ers despite Embiid only played with small minutes due to injury.
I think the series will be over in game 5, with or without Embiid.

There's no official update on the status yet, but hopefully, it's not that serious.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Curacao license scam on: June 01, 2021, 12:58:16 PM
Hello friends,

I'm shocked  Shocked about the number of crypto casinos using the same gaming license from Curacao! Please take a look at this post: https://game-protect.com/curacao-license-scam/

They are scam or not? Can we play safe  and withdrawal our winnings or not?

What do you think about?

One of the main reasons for any institution to go for a license like this is so they can hide behind the anonymity it gives them while pretending to look official. It's explicitly flaunted to people who think that a gaming license from any location requires the company to be vetted and certified, except only the bare minimum is done and it is primarily seen as an easy income stream for the Curacao government. There have been many dodgy companies over the years who abuse this and it does little to give gamblers any protection which you might expect. Quite simply the regulator is already overwhelmed by complaints, it has few resources to investigate them all properly and rarely takes any action against operators - most of which are located far from this country which has little power to shut them down either.

Do we have some crypto casinos already that were punish due to scamming?

How reliable this Curacao license? are they really due diligence before granting a license to the casino applicants?
That's the question that needs to be answered, because if they do their job and there are casinos punish for scamming, then they are reliable.
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Want Tesla To Accept Doge? on: May 31, 2021, 09:25:18 PM
i think its enough talking about doge and tesla, its not effective anymore to drive doge price in market . just look at elon's tweet about doge, market didnt responses anymore and price only move a little. i am doubt if tesla will accept doge in 2022, its just elon's strategy to drive anything that we dont know.

We know DOGE so well, it's just a meme coin, right?

It's actually Elon's job to hype bad coins so he will benefit, his reputation has now change into a big shill, but he is not effective anymore in doing that, so DOGE will certainly struggle and we might see a bad dump of this coin. I'm wondering if there are still a lot of people here who are holding DOGE, I would say that's a bad decision as anytime whales will unload their big holdings, the market will collapse.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 28, 2021, 03:57:48 PM
Knicks should try to steal this one versus Hawks while they are too confident in their venue. Just like how the Hawks stolen one from them in Madison Square Garden.
My pick is Knicks ML.

Same thought, but I did not put a bet on the ML, instead I go with the point spread to be safer. However, I think I am not gonna miss this opportunity to take good odds, so I will follow that ML and put some special bet with 5.64 on NY winning by 1-5 points only.
2034  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xbit is at it again with bounty and a signature campaign on: May 28, 2021, 03:26:14 PM
Participants without a red tag will not risk applying their account, maybe some DT will not tag but there's a risk that their account will still be tagged. I guess all of the accepted applicants have a red tag already and I believe 1xbit already sees this coming since in their rules they allowed a red-tagged account to apply.

The reward is quite attractive, but if it would result in the account getting tag, I guess it's not worth to risk.

I don't know how DT would treat this, I saw yobit ran a signature campaign before, and non of the members were tagged IIRC.
2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is no one talking about shorting alts? on: May 28, 2021, 03:09:35 PM
I tried setting up some type of API where if Elon tweeted about Doge, then it would automatically buy however you would be surprised how many people out there are already doing that. And honestly most of the time ,the entire move completely retraces. It seems its better to just short the rip, put in a tight stop and short it back down to where it started to rally from.

This is a guess common. Basically if too many people do the same thing then obviously it won't be profitable anymore and this is pretty much what happened. I am surprised that his tweets have so much power to be able to make the market cap change in near seconds by his tweets.

I am totally not surprised that there are hundreds and thousands of bots and alts doing this,,, very old and recognized strategy used to be McAfee tweets;)

But yes it would be so good to just short alts every time he Tweets (since they will be already too late to buy).

But DOGES and when he Tweets sell though is the only way most people can do unless somebody knows about DOGE futures?Wink

Will he tweet to sell?

I guess Elon is more on accumulating and holding, that's why people invest as he is so optimistic with his prediction.
He doesn't need to be detailed with his tweet, people would already speculate and knows what it means.

In short, they just follow Elon blindly, so they can't blame anyone of DOGE will dump in the future.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Degree in gambling? on: May 28, 2021, 02:15:51 PM
I guess depending on the job, being a gambler I think it's not hard to adjust to the situation.
Since the gambling industry is profitable, I'm expecting that working with the casinos will make you earn a good salary.

I'm just guessing since I don't really have an idea, but if I would choose, I'd rather start my own casino so I would really grow.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Denver vs Blazers series odds if Denver win game 3. on: May 28, 2021, 10:18:43 AM
I'm gonna know the odds today, after game 3 I would know, but it's too late, since I didn't get any answer here, I decided to just put the bet on Denver Nuggets to win the series with 2.44 odds, and they'll win, I would take the 44% profit, and no risk if they lose. That's easy, right?
Yes that's correct, you'll get a 44% profit if Denver wins and if the Blazers manages to pull the upset you'll just break even since you still have that bet against your friend.

The series is far from over but good luck on that Denver series bet. I rarely hedge my bets but i'd probably do the same just to lock in those profits.

It was not an upset before game 3 because the Blazers are the favorites.
The odds changes now, Blazers is 2.70 without a price boost.

Good luck, your decision is correct, but as ralle14 said, this is far from over.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Student Coin Speculation/Discussion Thread on: May 28, 2021, 10:06:25 AM
Previously I was very optimistic about STC, but after this project was finished I started getting fed up with the team, even though this project was running successfully, many mistakes were hidden in this project, where they have had lied to the bonty hunters, the STC Team had taken most of the hunters' rights prizes, where the payment is made not as promised, hopefully other projects do not follow in the footsteps of STC,
As part of the big community of bitcointalk, I also feel how the bounty hunters are feeling now, though they don't invest money here their effort is worth rewarded if the company can't keep their words on a small amount, how much more on the investors who trust the project's future.
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 28, 2021, 08:24:26 AM
I think the Lakers will be able to beat the Suns without much effort (maybe 4x1).

I feel the performance of CP3 is not 100%, even with Booker and Ayton standing out, I don't know if they will be in the same level as LJ and AD, and i see, Schröder is standing out too, in the last game he scored 20 points.

That's what I'm seeing as well, Suns can't depend on the Lakers on the inside, Ayton is so small compared to the bigs of the Lakers who would dominate. Suns needs to play a fast pace game but they aren't doing it well, so we are seeing them struggling.

I lose my bet as I thought the Suns could somehow win the handicap, but that late surge was quite a big short.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sextortion - more than 4000 BTC cashed on: May 28, 2021, 03:04:29 AM
How can this actually affect the crypto market?

There's none, we have some bad and good news, it's normal.
It's the lack of regulation that makes people suffer but bitcoin will stay and will remain a potential coin good for investment.

If one is careful with browsing online and protects his/her computer or any private data, this kind of "Sextortion" will never happen.

it could happen using fiat too, so there's no big difference.
