2021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish movement on the way? on: June 09, 2021, 10:35:40 AM
Yes, lightning never strikes back in the same place.
It could be different this year.
I do believe Bitcoin already gained too much and it wouldn't hurt so much even if a bear market happens again. Although I don't really like the idea.
The sooner the value of it getting stronger the better. Bitcoin dominance should stay at its place and cannot be overtaken by any coins or the balance will be tilted.
I think it's just resting because even with all the FUD's that had been spread it doesn't let go of $30k.
2022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 09, 2021, 08:42:48 AM
We have a game between Jazz and Clippers, now it's Jazz time to comeback and making it close in the third quarter. Gonna be interesting how the game will turn out. Clippers just holding a slim margin and it's their turn to have a scoring drought. Hard to see, who will win in the end, perhaps defense will be the key here.

Great game so far they been going back and forth in the 2nd half and this is only game 1 this is going to be one hell of a series. But Utah looks great!
Ended with a defensive win. Rudy Gobert blocked Morris' 3 point attempt that could've tied the game for overtime.
That was some thrilling game that we witnessed. Playoff game on a high level.

Donovan Mitchell declared as player of the game. He did all the damage with 45 points. Then, there is Clarkson who made some big shots too.
Defending Leonard was the key for them to win the game by stopping him before he can even set himself for a drive in the paint.
Clippers were also in foul trouble and the Jazz is making bonus shots with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Mitchell realized that and attacked the rim often.
Good strategy by the Jazz.
2023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 08, 2021, 01:22:54 PM
That's not easy even with mixers. You just mix it with another bitcoin address but how will you go out to cash?
It's still the same. The trace will be the exit point where you would sell your bitcoin to another person and he would need all your details for that to happen.
Bank account number, WU, Moneygram, PayPal, or whatever you and the other person agreed to do it, it needs a name, a phone number, or something that will prove it is you.
These companies are bound by the law to avoid tax evasion and money laundering acts. I guess investing it in a different industry will be the answer.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 08, 2021, 07:58:16 AM
^^ I'm really surprised not by the Nets, but by the Bucks performance here. In paper it looks like they are a solid team as compare to like two years ago. I think Giannis has plateaued already and so is the team. And after the Nets win this series, a lot of decisions on management and players as well. To stay in this system or look for superstar players to complement Giannis (if he chooses to stay).

They have to win game 3 at their homecourt, otherwise this is moot. And if Harden's come back, will be difficult for the Bucks to win.
I was also shocked at how bad they lose against the Nets. This is not what we are expecting from the Bucks team who had made so many changes in their roster.
They have Jrue Holiday now and PJ Tucker who is good with his defense but I don't see the same performance as the season and 1st round.
Giannis, I feel like he is mentally blocked with what Griffin did at Game 1.
He may be doubting himself or afraid to commit an offensive foul that's why he ain't attacking the paint a lot.
Nets duo is also just skillful. They can shoot anywhere which makes them difficult to guard.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Airdrops and Bounties worth the work? on: June 08, 2021, 05:56:18 AM
There's still a chance with bounties but I don't know about airdrops.
I stopped doing that a long time ago for it just makes my Ethereum wallet messy whenever I check it with etherscan.
Don't expect too much there, if it's an easy task take it, if they needed KYC's and verification just let it go.

Bounties on the other hand have projects being offered but you should look if they are real.
Most of them are scam attempts and you will just be wasting time and effort working for them.
2026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 07, 2021, 11:26:49 AM
Coach Carlisle putting too much playing time to Finney-Smith in their playoffs series but this guy doesn't contribute well. A bad run for Luka this year. I'm seeing Damian Lillard to him if the same scenario will always happen every playoff.
He focused his play too much on Tim and Dorian. If it's Clippers, speed is not something you will focus on.
It's not like the Suns that do a lot of transition plays because they are playing small ball.
They need height and muscles and Powell and Kleber will be their best option. I thought that's the reason why he gave Marjanovic more minutes but I may be wrong.
They should trade Porzingis to another team. Period.
IMO, I'll keep KP. He is still young and there's a lot of room for improvement.
Train him with Dirk or Dirk's mentor and perhaps it will help him grow his skills.

2027  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Covid-19 carrying the growth in digital currencies? on: June 07, 2021, 03:20:41 AM
There's is no doubt life will be easier that way. Digital currencies as in "fiat" digitized right?
Credit cards made life easier and so does paper money instead of carrying a lot of gold in your bag.
Everything must improve and here goes computerized money being offered for faster and easier transactions.

I think that's one of the good effects of this damn sickness worldwide. We looked for options in a rush so that our economy won't perish.
If it did not happen, we might still be in slow motion and be hard-headed with traditional ways. We adapt.
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT hype is over, next hype please on: June 07, 2021, 02:32:50 AM
Hype is over but it doesn't mean it ended the story.
They are still there and some projects are still doing great up until now.
I also doubt there will be a new hype anytime soon with people still crazy about playing NFT games and collecting cards.
They will still be busy about it and may not notice even when something new arrives.

Instead of a new hype what do we expect will happen with our old cryptocurrencies? Bitcoin and Ethereum.
I bet investors will be going back buying them considering a chance of a pump with NFT's in a calm situation.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 07, 2021, 12:45:03 AM

Los Angeles Clippers 126 Dallas Mavericks 111

Better luck next time for the Mavericks. I'm really rooting for them but at least they don't give the much dominant Los Angeles Clippers an easy run at their series.

Hopefully, Luka will experience his first winning playoffs series the next time they qualified again for the playoffs. His effort will surely be rewarded.

I'm expecting Dallas Mavericks will do some good actions in the post-season to somehow revamp their supporting cast. There are lots of good prospects that will be available in the market and they should participate in it.
Kristaps Porzingis 0/5 3pts. He lost his touch and being the unicorn. I think it was because he was forced to fill the power forward position which he is not.
He should be like Durant making outside shots or perimeter jumps.
Rick Carlisle focused too much just using 5 players in the game and forgot about how strong his power forwards are. Kleber and Powell.
The player rotation was not good and the zone defense killed them.

They have a good roster but forgot how good it is. They are a young team so just add this to the experience.
2030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 06, 2021, 01:36:19 PM
I use to trade with Forex before but I switched to crypto.
Easy, fast, and the volatility just electrifies me.  Grin
Profits, both could be profitable but if there is really a need to choose then I pick Crypto. Again, because of volatility. You just have to know what you are doing and make your prediction accurate with recent news and updates about what's going on.
Ease of trading is what made me stay and then exchanges are easy to access with user-friendly UI's.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 06, 2021, 10:55:34 AM
There is, if you look at the betting odds before the season starts, you got Lakers, Bucks, and Nets who are the top 3 favorites to win a championship, and Lakers are the only one that is down now, well that is due to injury problems but they are done still.

This season is quite different compared to the past as one of the early favorites is down and it makes the competition more unpredictable.
Indeed.
No Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and Golden State Warriors.
We will have a new team champion this year and I am betting for the Denver Nuggets even without Murray.
In fact, I already took it even before the season starts and was devastated when Murray was injured. But there's still hope as long as Jokic could play the same way he did against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The East playoffs are also difficult to predict. 76ers, Nets, Bucks, and Hawks are all great teams but I think the Nets are the scariest of them all.
2032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 06, 2021, 05:26:01 AM
First, invent something that could kill it. Then, I might believe in the possibility of it dying.
Right, you're a newbie and that's the first thing you will say because you don't know the history of Bitcoin.

There's a beginners section and you might want to start there.
If you are having a hard time finding it then I'll help. Here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0
If that's too much work for you then just google bitcoin or use coinmarketcap and see if Bitcoin dies whenever the price plummet.
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto and platform do you invest in in June??? on: June 05, 2021, 07:25:11 AM
Bitcoin is no question that needs to be held.
It may not be June, July, or even this year but there will always be a future for it.

Now for altcoins.
NFT's caught my attention and I like how they put them in arts and games. Instead of paying up for in-game items or diamonds in MMORPG's and will have nothing in return in years of playing, NFT games could be a good option for putting a market for every item you will buy or invest with.
If it gets old it might even have a higher value in return and for me that's way cooler while enjoying the game.
2034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a tool for enlightenment on: June 05, 2021, 05:33:47 AM
That's the spirit. Be careful though when you are selling at high points.
Dividing your assets into different wallets will a good idea to avoid moving the investment part with the trading capital.

You can apply it also in different areas of life.
Jobs or businesses have their up and downs too. Food businesses, for example, customers will get fed up with what you serve (down) and you need to bring something new on their plates. Something that will spark up their taste buds. (up)
You can't just give up midway, being optimistic will help while looking for future gains.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 05, 2021, 03:46:37 AM
Everyone on the Nuggets are stepping up, their defense is their key to success, so being an underdog, should not be a problem for them.
People still see a Nuggets less Murray as a weakness but in reality, it's not anymore.
Super agree.  Wink
They adapted to it. Every player is stepping up. Hell, I don't even know about Shaquille Harrison (named after Shaquille O'Neal) and Markus Howard before but now I do because of their efforts to be known by contribution for the team.
Denver Nuggets will win this 2nd round but that will be a biased analysis since I am a fan of them.
I doubt a Game 7 though if the Nuggets will play the same way they did with Portland Trail Blazers.
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is best time buying SHIB token or not on: June 04, 2021, 10:11:27 AM
$0.01? Too far.
I would not expect a quadrillion amount of coin to go that far.
The best to could get might be $0.0001 and you should be selling at that point without a doubt or regret.
It was high last time a bull run with all the coins happened, like last month. Yeah, buying it might still be profitable in the future, but just not much like other coins.
Coins like this are prone to be played in the market by whales and being in the middle of it is not a good idea.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 04, 2021, 04:13:30 AM
It’s still early in the first quarter so anything can happen. I’d be surprised if this isn’t a blowout from the body language I’m seeing already though.

LAKERS 19 SUNS 47 2Q (as of typing)

Looks like the end of the road for the Lakers. Booker is on fire and the Lakers have no answer to it. Anthony Davis still plays even with injury but there's still more season to him. It's a good decision for him to take an early exit rather than take the risks of being injured more.

Everything can happen until there's a time but knowing Suns they can protect that large lead.
CP3 only needs to start the engine for the Suns and they could go wild, like Booker with 7/8 at 3 point lane.
I don't think AD will be going back. That's it for him if he still wants to have babies in the future.

Nuggets on the other hand did what they are good at. Defense. With Lillard having an off-night unlike Game 5 it's easy to focus the defense with Melo and McCollum.
Trail Blazers' problem was foul trouble and this is not new. Nurkic and Powell got 5 with a lot of minutes in the 4th quarter.
We can almost tell it's the Suns they will be up against if the Lakers won't have a good run.
Ayton vs Jokic? Exciting!
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 04, 2021, 02:34:05 AM
Man, that will be cool if they will add a gambling option for that sport.
I know little about "who" will play this game but I will try to learn them if ever they will make it available.
Next time we will be talking about how much of a "lizard-like" these players are.  Grin
It's a good sport to watch and you will not sleep on it while looking at climbers trying their best not to fall and looking for the best route possible.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge and coindbase on: June 03, 2021, 01:50:06 PM
Bitcoin pump happened and it was also pushed up.
Elon Musk tweet so much good about it and even tried to ask if it could be a payment option for his company.
Is adding it to Coinbase enough to make a bull run to $1 without the help of other cryptocurrencies?
Maybe not, maybe yes. But I am on the side of "not". Coinbase addition could be a double-edged sword.

Have you thought about the possibility that Elon Musk is also the reason behind the dump? If you do, will you trust a coin that is being manipulated by one person?
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discipline hodling altcoins in the face of challenges. on: June 03, 2021, 05:16:05 AM
Will you Judge someone who sold his altcoins in the face of a situation
which he did not see any way out of financially other than to liquidate some assets as not disciplined enough?
Basic question. No. Money is still money. Life is more important than it.
In the face of a life threatening situation that finance is the solution to, will you still hold on to your coins knowing that liquidating some or all will get you out of the situation? Or will you wait for help from above or somewhere else?
Again, no.
You have the capability to help yourself or help your family in a life-threatening situation so take it out, sell it.
Remember, there will always be a way to make money again and invest with new altcoins, or if you want you can buy it back someday.
If you are not breathing anymore, can you still do that?
I won't suggest loans too, because you are digging your grave slowly by doing that. Use whatever you have when it's needed even if it's for food on the table or the bills that need to be paid.
