You guys are really going all out, spreading the word, great job!
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO NOW LIVE on: September 21, 2017, 09:25:11 AM
Hello Minereum dev.

Some of us on the telegram channel are quite concerned with the following address(s):

https://etherscan.io/token/0x1a95b271b0535d15fa49932daba31ba612b52946?a=0xc40b312169c7f8d93679ef1e91da989693cb5f93

https://etherscan.io/address/0x864c68608554ebf619a054c5941b7a0988df11d3

These clearly show someone in control of multiple genesis address' being sent the ether from one address in order to offload the MNE on livecoin.net

Can you explain these transactions to help calm us down?

I've asked the others in the channel to quote this and repost it as it could show that you are using some of the gen address' to offload minereum on to us through an exchange. This would be bad.

Thanks,
Llama

Alright worst case scenario, the devs hold a large portion of the gen addresses and they're unloading on us because both projects will most likely fail. How likely is this? Do we have reason to believe this? I don't think so. Its very well possible the devs own a large potion, and that they're unloading onto us in rder to pay for further development. If that's the case, fine. Or, they're unloading because they don't want people buying ETH in order to contribute to the ICO, which is why they're dumping MNE in order to keep prices low enough so that more people buy MNE, reducing the supply. I'm curious for the devs' response

Why do you think offloading the supply of the many genesis accounts on livecoin has the purpose of raising money for the project?
It has never been confirmed and the track record does not ease my suspicion that it's all for personal benefit. Since the project started not much money was invested in anything so I am beginning to acccept that Dev made himself a nice living out of all this and is setting up a nice pension plan w/o too much effort to get something real developed. All he does is buying time to get this scheme rolled-out leaving everybody anxious about the next update of the roadmap which might never happen. There is substantial evidence available that something is happening that would place any investor in a very underprivileged position, since there is, and will be, the risk that someone decides to dump on you in a way that exceeds the potential of a quick P&D scheme or a big whale.
Off course I would like to ride the wave up to a new ATH but sadly it's not the market that decides that but probably 1 single person that can manipulate the rate for ever. He just needs to fill-up his mined stash and wait for an opportunity to do something completely market adverse and you won't see it coming.

That's the risk of investing, I guess.
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find your ICO's ? on: September 21, 2017, 09:13:33 AM
I've never really had luck at all with ICO'S and to be honest, almost all of them look like a scam to me. So I generally try to avoid them. However, that's about all that's coming out these days. Everyday I get like 5 notifications of new ICO'S. 4 out of the 5 of them look super scammy. So if anyone has any tips, it would be great since I can't really find many pow coins these days.

I agree, I also feel like %99 of the ICOs are either get rich easy schemes, mere ideas or scams. I follow tokenmarket usually. The last ICO I contributed was 0x and it earned me good money tbh. Before that it was ICONOMI.

Theres a difference between a scam and a failed ICO. Sometimes the devs are really doing all they can, but the products just don't live up to the hype
2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antshares/ NEO [NEO] on: September 21, 2017, 09:12:30 AM
Before the big jump there is likely going to be an accumulation phase for Neo. Whales are buying it while trying to keep the price from going up. They have invested so much time to Neo recently that Im sure they are actively collecting it right now in preparation for the coming ICO.

Looking at statistics in Bittrex the price has been more or less stable for almost 10 days. And its getting more stable each day. I think we are already in the accumulation phase and it has been going on all that time. Once the phase ends the price will go up rapidly.

We're definitely in accumulation right now, 1 good rumor from China and it's back to the stars
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SONM chart confusion (coinmarketcap) on: September 21, 2017, 09:10:48 AM
Sonm is another Russian scam, I regret buying it. The price has been below ICO price since week one of its release

That's because they made a mistake during the ICO, doesn't mean their product is bad. If you can afford to wait, wait and hodl, it could blow up any day now
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for September on: September 21, 2017, 09:09:52 AM
reOrder is a great ICO. Working product, promising idea, good growth potential. Make sure to check their idea - https://ico.reorder.world

I'm sorry but I don't see how this has that much growth potential. Could you elaborate why you think that is?

Basicaly its connecting crypto to the real world retail infrastructure. So the market for it is not just a crypto payments but offline retail in general. And regular retail is a huge source of customers for crypto users conversion. Thats why it has a huge potential to grow.

And also they got a working prototype.

Cool, I'll look into it
2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in September on: September 21, 2017, 09:04:04 AM
I suggest reading up on CombiCoin, now in ICO.

For every 10 dollars you invest, you get 1 CombiCoin, as well as 1 TRIA token.
Each CombiCoin represents 1/30th of the top 30 cryptocurrencies. The team have run a lot of simulations, and this turned out to be the ideal ratio:  in the first half of this year for example, BTC grew 194%, whereas the top 30 grew 1198%. They will do bi-monthly rebalancing to keep alts from becoming dominant within CombiCoin, and to be able to introduce successful newcomers.
This means that as long as the crypto market as a whole grows (which it has done, exponentially, for a long time now), the CombiCoins grow in proportion. You pay zero commission over this growth and get to keep all of the profit you make by selling.

This is where the TRIA tokens come in. Specially designed software, which has been successfully applied in the energy sector, will keep track of all buying and selling orders of CombiCoins on as many exchanges as possible. Whenever these can be traded at a favorable rate, the smart software executes an order and generates profit. This profit is divided 50/50 between Triaconta - this is their business model - and the other half goes to the TRIA token holders. In other words, the token holders are basically guaranteed a steady income, as long as CombiCoins are being traded (which, in a growing crypto market with the coins rising in value, they will be).

I've invested €1500, here's why:

- With all recent China related FUD, I think a lot of demand has risen for more stable (and no less considerable) profit. The market consists of more than moonkids and speculators, there's people simply looking for better returns than current savings rates;

- I find it hard to figure out which crypto's to hedge my bets on. There's a couple of relatively stable big ones, but with low profits, and a lot of promising newcomers, many of which turn out to be one day flies (a little too often for my taste). I do, however, have great faith in the rise of cryptocurrencies in general - in the crypto market as a whole. I firmly believe this market will grow substantially in 2018 (and the CombiCoins in proportion to it);

- Then there's the added revenue from the TRIA tokens. You get these basically as a bonus during the ICO, and there's no telling how much each token will generate over a lifetime;

- I'm very impressed with the team, not just their qualifications but also their transparency and professionalism. They answer all questions on this forum and in their telegram quickly and thoroughly. I've asked many questions myself, but haven't been able to find a single unconsidered circumstance or any fatal flaw. They seem to have thought of everything. The software they will implement has been tried and tested, and they know how to convey confidence in their product. Only thing is that, where other (less promising) coins like Paragon are all in your face, Triaconta keeps it pretty low key and rather focuses on quality. This means it's partly up to the community to get the word out, but personally I'm happy to contribute.

I'd say do your own research, their whitepaper explains things very clearly. https://triaconta.com/

I was wondering when we would see a coin like this. Banks and financial institutions have always pooled together multiple investments into one big fund (diversification, they call it), mostly to pump up the grade of the investment (they can pool 10 triple B investments together and call it a triple A investment). I'm gonna look into combicoin, seems like a solid investment
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 21, 2017, 08:59:55 AM
Yes China is a big economy but world is more big then china. And Crypto Currencies at start point.
There is more way. So lets collect our gains. Smiley

China wants to manipulate the bitcoin i believe this is their hidden agenda of the banning drama now it will be their peoples lost not ours. I feel sad of some Chinese investors are bankrupt because they are forced to sell their bitcoins and altcoins. Now they are waiting for their government that banning will be remove so that they could start a new investment immediately may their government help them to recover of what is loss.

In the long run they won't benefit from banning. Look at the alcohol-ban in the US decades ago. I say let the burn themselves, the rest of us will keep investing and making money whilst they cripple their economy in a worthless attempt to control the uncontrollable
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Coins For Massive Profits? on: September 21, 2017, 08:57:14 AM
I recently decided to invest 50$ into buzzcoin (really small coin, barely anyone knows about them), because the value was about 10 sats so i figured what the hell, right. Now it just got a reasonable pump that made me almost 350$ in profits in less than 5 days.

How would you find coins like this on a rather regular basis, are there strategies people follow? I don't plan on investing large amounts of money in them, as I've got BTC, LTC, NEO and a few ICO's for that, but it's fun to look for small coins that haven't pumped yet and invest a couple tens of dollars in them.

Congrats, bro! There are several traders out there who are becoming hunters for these mostly unknown and undervalued coins that are otherwise promising and whose project is generally good. Such very cheap coins will, kind of ironically, be the ones that will give off big profits.

Thanks man!
2030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: September 21, 2017, 08:56:42 AM
Theres also a big difference in scam ICO's and unsuccesful ICO's. Sometimes the devs are doing everything they can, but the product still doesn't live up to the heights
2031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ELECTRONEUM SPECULATION THREAD on: September 21, 2017, 08:49:59 AM
I'm not interested in investing, nor will I read the wp, so let me ask you this sincere question:

What would convince you NOT to invest in this coin? If you can't think of anything, you don't understand your investment, I'm afraid

What would convince me not to? If the devs neglected the usage of the coin, and the whole mass-adoption was the goal in it self.

Which it isn't; it is a mean to succes for this coin.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Within the first week the ICO has managed to raise:

212 BTC

4200 ETH

Thank you for all that have participated in the first week with 51% bonus! Now the second week will only reward 41% bonus with a referral code!
This amounts to over $2 million, raised in a week !

What a fantastic effort! Smiley

Cool, thanks!
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - China bans Bitcoin yet again. This time for real. on: September 21, 2017, 08:48:28 AM
i doubt the ban will be temporary.
i think the communist wants to control the yuan currency from devaluations against Bitcoins.
so they will develop their own version of cryptocurrency that will replace bitcoins and that they can control to manipulate yuan.

They're already building their own national crypto coin, which will fail. The nature of crypto is that the gvernment has no say in it. Either they accept it and learn how to benefit from them, or they'll get destroyed. They might win a couple of battles, but the war is ours
bitcoin is supposed to be decentralized. yes. in theory.
yet, in practice, the mining is overwhelmingly Chinese operated.
furthermore, until recent cleanup, Chinese exchanges operators have been manipulating the price. They own the order books. they can manipulate it.

however, China has probably already developed or going to build a version of bitcoins that will be controlled by the central bank. it will be feel decentralized but it will be fully transparent, censored, and monitored by the central bank to prevent fraud and to prevent yuan from devaluating against it.

That's a solid theory. Bitcoin will indeed never be fully decentralized, whether it's the governments or giant whales that hold the majority, unless it goes up to 50K a coin, which would make it harder for whales to manipulate. Now, be that as it may, the Chinese might be able to fully control bitcoin in china, they don't have power anywhere else in the world. Let them control everything in their own country like they always have, I'll keep investing and making money
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin to be come millionaire from $10000? on: September 21, 2017, 08:44:11 AM
It's so funny how threads like this are solely built around people shilling their own holdings  Grin
2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]Artemine- First Self Mining Smart Contract 2.0 - ICO LIVE - 400% BONUS on: September 21, 2017, 08:42:52 AM
Hi All,

For future reference and to make things clear to everyone, we would like to point out as already mentioned before that Minereum and Artemine are two different teams.

We have different roadmaps and different tokens, however we work together to achieve common goals, and we will keep working together in the future.

We will post more updates once we burn the received MNE in the ICO, stay tuned!

LOL ROTFL, you are alone man, but anyway you are doing your business very well, you gained a lots of ETH during the ICO, and as I guess much more BTC back in June around MNE ath. Actually you do not need to do anymore, you have enough money, and I am sure you won't do anything, and you are right. All of my respect is yours, you are doing one of the best scam I have ever seen. Btw, I would not mine if you had a last idea which makes MNE around 200k sat to give us a chance to quit without a lots of loss. Thanks! Smiley

Do you have any reason to assume this? Do you understand why prices are so low right now?

2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: September 20, 2017, 10:28:26 PM
Next 100x could be anything. Looking at Cindicator, Alloy, UnikoinGold and Relest seem like potential choices.
Probably best answer, with rising number of pumper groups who doesn't care about quality of a project, they just waiting good news. Almost any project can be next 10x.
100x is too much at this situation.
No one will ever get a honest opinion in this thread because clearly almost everyone is shilling their own bags. I have read some coins here that just made me had a laugh attack.
Another good and honest answer. Some other indicators can show you right direction especially now when BTC preparing to jump.

ZEN looking very good, and we can get at least 10 x till the end of the year.
Stratis XMR,LTC..Cloak is already on the half of the road to the moon, I have made this call few times.

Alloy can't go x100, cause that would mean the devs would have to insure themselves through safe investments for the possibility of the coin dropping x100 in a massive sell off as well. Best it can do is x10 early on, but its a coin made to increase stability and decrease volatility, so x100 is out of the question IMO. Either way I'm investing
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: September 20, 2017, 10:19:07 PM
ICO's could be scams because they hardly ever have to show you something upfront. That's why when I invest I look for working prototypes, interesting collabs with big corporations, stuff like that to ensure the team actually can build what they claim they'll build

2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin or token did you invest in the most ? on: September 20, 2017, 10:10:56 PM
I have invested a lot in Ethereum, i have more than 60% of my funds in that altcoin, i really trust in their project, and it worked well, i am glad that i bought some ethereum at $170 each one, also i bought more when it droped to $230 last week. I think that Ethereum is going to be the number #2 forever, until another coin takes it place, but i dont think it is going to happen soon.

I doubt that as well, it's too established and it works great, plus it's backed by a lot of big companies
