2041  Economy / Gambling / Re: POWERBALL ON BITCOIN - Uses Real Powerball Drawings, 100% Verifiable on: July 26, 2018, 07:10:01 PM
I love when people create a site in under a day and claim they created a blockchain powerball game
the only difference that they only have 250$ and will not pay you if you win
other than that-a fantastic idea  Grin
if I only got a satoshi for every lottery or sweepstakes site that failed
2042  Economy / Gambling / Re: Offer for owners of gambling platforms on: July 26, 2018, 08:31:05 AM
are you in any ways connected to the infamous azartplay casino platform in Russia?
you should have picked a different name, because for many russian speaking people azartpay sounds  like azrtplay
and is directly associated with: "bad casino" ,scam, slot machines that are rigged etc.
is your coin being mined already?
according to your roadmap it should be by now, cannot find any wallet links or pools or mining instructions for it
since it is a low difficulty coin,it might be a good idea to redirect some of the hash power to it...just in case it doesn't flop like hundreds of similar before
2043  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing TheButton.co - be the last presser and win! on: July 24, 2018, 05:38:54 PM
when I see a game with 15% house edge,I instinctively put my wallet somewhere safe Smiley
charity... awwww,so cute gambling and charity go so well together
with this particular game this is going to be a botfest (if there any who risk playing it)
none in his right mind would sit and watch the timer go,much easier to get a bot to monitor and place bets
also this simply cannot be provably fair, since the owner will always have the advantage of being able to "press" it last
2044  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-23] Coinbase Prime Snags a $20 Billion Institutional Investor on: July 24, 2018, 12:07:23 PM
this should be a start of the bull run,too many "accidental" positive news
Coinbase getting an investor could be huge in the long run
it is working as a signal to other investors and hedge funds to consider entering the market
and once several of them get in,the consequences are obvious-major price rise
2045  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-13] Billionaire Steven Cohen Enters Crypto Industry on: July 24, 2018, 08:56:25 AM
Only 8% of the top 25 funds have reported profits since the start of 2018, with many shutting down due to the massive losses. Most funds did not register double-digit returns until cryptocurrencies’ rebound in April this year.

I really do not understand, these guys invest millions of dollars and do not do research before investing their precious money? Why would they have to sell with losses? since they are very rich people, they only need to invest long term because they have other sources of income, so they will not worry about the current loss if they are investing in the long term, now reading that they sell at a loss. makes me feel shocked and does not understand why

My guess is that many of big investors do not purchase crypto directly.
They buy futures contracts or other derivatives instead.
Probably having literally no idea what Bitcoin or Altcoins are. Roll Eyes

many of big investors say they do not purchase crypto directly or have no idea about it
it is their job to monitor profitable investments and cryptocurrencies have shown not only the unprecendented growth potential
but also returns of thousands of % ,beating any other asset or currency
they cannot ignore this, but if a huge hedge fund says we have just invested a couple of billions, the price could go up
if you want to buy more, this is not the best idea,so I believe many of them play dumb and say that we don't understand what bitcoin is
2046  Economy / Gambling / Re: Telegram Dice Gambling Bot (BTC/LTC/DOGE) on: July 23, 2018, 07:39:09 PM
Im not sure what can you offer players to gamble in telegram which is very difficult to navigate comparing to web based gambling sites that has colorful and lively pictures.

Actually what do you exactly need for gambling on dice? You want to get profit instead of wagering amount right? Then I can say telegram dice is one of the best choice because you do not need to rush and you can play everywhere when you feel like to. Of course this is no for big whalento play here, may be some micro and middle one going to play here. And if I not mistakrn they have pretty good max payout for their dice game, so if you think you want to play with low amount, it is the best way

Not really. A lot of us dice gamblers also stick to one site because of the wagering amounts it builds up for us. BitDice, Bitvest, Crypto-Games, they all give some kind of added advantage to loyal players. Some like the bigger faucets, some like the higher speeds, some like the extra rakeback, others just like to show off their levels. For me, I don't rely on the bonuses but when you're playing every day, even the 1% more you earn from bonuses adds up. 100 days is 100%.

So yes, that's something Telegram can never give out. In addition to so many other things. Like Provably Fair.
I agree, most of the dice sites are trying to keep loyal players and also are building
or at least trying to build a community around the site
this means chat,forum,sometimes a blog,competitions,promotions etc.
you cannot do that with a telegram bot, unless you enjoy chatting to yourself
2047  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 22 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: July 23, 2018, 06:28:12 PM
there is a requirement to keep your stats open for the competition
otherwise how on earth would they know you are in the lead?
some people are jumping at the first opportunity to blame the site(s) for anything, really
if the names were hidden, would have accused of no transaprency to the community  Grin
2048  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTS BOOK RANKINGS ~ COMPLETELY USER GENERATED on: July 23, 2018, 06:08:56 PM
I'm going to rate mbet.io at 4.0
it is a new site and it will not be graded high with your "maturity" system, but all in all I liked it alot
great, conservative design with good usability, fantastic horse races markets, covering all the bases for me there
not the best odds on sport betting, but this is not their main forte as they are focusing on the horses
only time will tell though how good the bookie is,also there are not so many withdrawals from them just yet to judge, thus its a 4 from me
2049  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITFAIR] bitfair.win - The Multiplayer Coin Flipping Cryptocurrency Game on: July 23, 2018, 05:31:58 PM
Beta version is released! You can now register and play.

Enjoy our Free version!  Smiley

Website: https://bitfair.win

Telegram: https://t.me/bitfairwin

Facebook: https://fb.com/bitfair.win

registered and started to enjoy the free version  Cheesy
the game design is cool,a little bit too anime as for my liking, but is definitely unique and good looking
a quick session overview:
refreshing the page logs you off the account, this is weird
after the initial login the system would not accept bets, probably a bug, after relog -everything started to work as it was supposed to
after placing a 0.005 bet without any other participant,my bet was a winning bet (heads)
my balance went back to 0.1 and then returned t0 0.095,unpredictable and confusing
the guide is confusing as well, please explain the Step3? what do you mean by balance the bet from both sides?
and it is impossible to test the site without players
you do need more people to try this out to be able to iron the bugs out
2050  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡SLIP.GG | The World’s Biggest Roulette Table on: July 23, 2018, 12:35:24 PM

Also, why create an account just to view the site?

You create an account because that's the way the site works.

Let us know what you think! Your feedback is greatly appreciated  Smiley

It was a hint to allow people to view the site without requiring creating an account Smiley

Nobody wants to see what is behind a wall these days, suit yourself though, we'd check it out if it didn't require that.

well you would be surprised...once you have created your account
you would have to get your account verified
and by verification slip.gg doesn't mean confirming your email, not that easy
you got to:
1.confirm your email
2.verify your phone number  Huh
3.connect at least one social media account
really, slip, you want me to give you my phone number, name and location to be able to play
this is the worst privacy-wise crypto casino I've seen
you stopped short of asking for KYC straight away
2051  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▰▰▰ LUCKYGAMES.IO ▰▰▰ ✅ 5 Awesome Games ✅ 61 Cryptocurrencies ✅ Daily Contests on: July 23, 2018, 12:21:46 PM
every dice site i play at had ETH issues past few days.

feels like ETH is becoming like BTC was last year with the overload to blockchain

only expected with the gas prices over the top
some sites adapt faster and either send with a higher fee or even hold eth transactions for a period of time
the problem is that the transaction often shows as not found, this causes panic among the gamblers Smiley
they are worried and rightfully so,to be honest, especially if it is their first experience with the site
but it should be back to normal already,at least gas is not as overpriced as before
2052  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Deanonymization of BTC on: July 22, 2018, 09:16:07 PM
Are there any techniques that are developed to deanonymize the bitcoin network?

as it has been mentioned above, bitcoin is pseudoanonymous and there is always a way to link addresses together
once it is done, you can proceed to cooperate with the law enforcement organizations of the target country to connect that to the devices and the physical address of a person(s)
there are several agencies that are doing this at the moment:
1.founded back in 2015, Chainalysis is one of the most famous(and oldest)
focuses on assessing risks for the companies if they want to enter bitcoin markets, also helping law enforcement
partnered with many international law enforcement agencies and Europol they provide tools to track cyber criminals
2.Elliptic-providing same services as Chainalysis, tools to identify illicit activity on the Bitcoin blockchain
3.QLUE-a programme by BIG(Blockchain Investigation Group) having the same functionality as the ones above, focuses on the darknet operations
there was a publicly available tool called Numisight, currently unavailable Sad
one could visualize transactions made from an address and connect it to another in a nice graphical presentation
2053  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: If bitcoin gets mass adopted, must we use our mobiles to buy? on: July 22, 2018, 08:54:36 PM
why MUST? you can use any device you like
personally,I don't trust enough mobile devices to store anything of value, wallets included (unless it is some spare change)
with mass adoption there might be specialized devices sold, including plastic cryptocards or mobile deviced designed to store/exchange/sell cryptocurrencies
it sounds like a sci-fi fiction at the moment, but lets wait several years and see
2054  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: what is ETF? how this effect on bitcoin price? on: July 22, 2018, 08:06:41 PM
ETF expectations was one of the factors that affected the price in november-december
that and Tether,of course  Grin
there is an interesting article on how it could have affected the price through 2016-2017
https://www.coindesk.com/8k-in-reach-4-barriers-await-emboldened-bitcoin-bulls/
I don't agree with everything he says there, but some of the points are valid and its a good read in general
2055  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoUp.bet | Provably Fair Dice | ** 10 LTC Promo Started ** | Completed on: July 22, 2018, 03:27:13 PM
Warning to all
Administration Login
User names
So it appears to be a hacking account
And loss of money
Do not deposit your money here

wow thank you for uncovering this conspiracy!
admins hacking accounts with 0.002 btc and losing it on autobet,to keep it hush hush /sarcasm
you seriously think anyone in his right mind ,especially a new site like goup, would resort to such a thing?
if I were you I would check your PC for malware or create passwords that are not 123456
2056  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoUp.bet | Provably Fair Dice | ** 10 LTC Promo Started ** | Completed on: July 22, 2018, 10:55:55 AM
I do not know the problem
I was playing in
bitsler.com
Sent 0.002

Direct from bitsler
After you finish playing at bitsler.com

I did not find the balance here

are you sure your transaction has been processed by bitsler?
they have a policy that turns manual withdrawals on if the system detects abuse or faucet farming
in this case your withdrawal is held to be reviewed by admins and can be cancelled
you should contact Bitsler too and see if the tx has gone through on their end
additionally-blockchain is congested as of lately,it took me four hours to get my deposit credited
2057  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [19-07-18] Mastermind Behind Bitcoin Ponzi in India Offers to Compensate Victims on: July 21, 2018, 08:55:37 PM
But it makes sense, if he stole 0.1 bitcoin, then he should give 0.1 bitcoin back, I'm not a lawyer, but I think that makes sense ... But it's up to the courts to decide that. it may be the case that he does not have enough money to compensate everyone and this is the only way he has to compensate everyone. the court will decide on the best way to proceed. I just worry that India has banned bitcoin so the court will base that fact and decide that everyone should be compensated for rupees

it makes sense if he still has the coins to pay
and I'm pretty amazed at how ...well,hopefull the indian "investors" are-should be happy to get their money back
they are lucky this dude hasn't gambled with the coins in any way,he could have bought some other coin with that and lose
and India didn't ban bitcoins, this Santa Barbara is going to be partially resolved on September 11th,when the final decision will be made over  the RBI initiative
2058  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-19] Billionaire Investor Says No One Wants to Buy Bitcoin on: July 21, 2018, 06:30:54 PM
when a diplomat says "maybe" its a no,when a hedge fund manager says we don't want to consider bitcoin as investment
read: we don't want the price to go up,but we will secretly buy or trade bitcoins
otherwise his traders are blind and plain ignoring the fact that no stock has shown returns of 10000% in a few year's time
to ignore that means total unprofessionalism,so it is a clear propaganda for the masses and a whitewash
2059  Economy / Gambling / Re: Project Bravio on: July 21, 2018, 06:08:49 PM
this is a great marketing plan there, the only problem-you will have to get the initial audience and initial bankroll to promote
as it has been mentioned above,CS:GO based sites do not live long enough to even return the investment
your approach is more professional in a way, lets see what happens in a long run
community also includes ingame chat, preferably also a forum/blog
as for the later:seo, signature campaigns and webdesign-you do realize that running a signature campaign costs a lot of money
even hiring a good webdesigner and a seo specialists can be costly,I'm mor interested not with how but with what resources are you planning to ...achieve greatness?

Thank you. I wholeheartedly agree!

Allow me to just say that it's true CS:GO sites haven't lasted long. I would attribute this to owners overextending themselves financially or thinking that they were going to be making big stacks of cash overnight. I'm a realist and an optimist. While I want the site to see results, I don't expect them to be immediate. It will be a process to get this site on the right track. But it's something I believe we have the power to do.

I do realise that the website directly and indirectly will need a serious amount of investment. I have that under control. At the moment we're just getting the foundations ready with the code and graphics. Resources aren't an issue.

The issues I immediately see are getting a solid and secure back-end so it's efficient and safe. This is something we will want to do properly. I can't think of anything worse than having to put the website into maintenance hours after opening it. I'm sure you could imagine how bad that would be!

I see,you make sense and your ideas are solid as well as your vision
well,I hope you get the site up and running and its a success
arguably, you could be doing way better with a conventional dice site casino, there is still a market share you could take if you market properly
in any case,I'll be visiting your site once it is up and I wish you good luck in your endeavours
2060  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-21] Cloud-Mining Service Hashflare Disables Bitcoin Mining Contracts on: July 21, 2018, 05:02:10 PM
thats both expected and unexpected, since the mining has been unprofitable for quite a while
but the image damage could be more than the coin loss, effectively making Hashflare not trusted
as for the exit scam,I doubt they will steal the funds, but for sure, will "save" on compensations for the already purchased contracts
yet another reason to say "cloud mining" and think -scam
