2041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ECB Feels Threatened by Bitcoin, Ask EU to Rein in Virtual Currencies on: October 21, 2016, 08:53:29 PM
We ve had tons of similar reports so far, Russia banning BTC, US, this agency or that firm against BTC. Guess what, nothing happened, crypto s still growing and becoming popular day after day so no worries there. Please do not spread the FUD.
2042  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need some people from different countries? on: October 21, 2016, 04:29:33 PM
Please check https://www.btc2bid.com to see that they are exactly doing what you trying to do.
I already received several emails that in my city there are buyers and they need me to go meet them and do the exchange but I never did.

This is the same thing, however, these guys have already delivered the product. However, the fact there is a danger in meeting strangers to deliver cash in person remains. Be extremely careful when using this service.
2043  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XCOINS.IO Automates the Process of Making Money with Bitcoin [OFFICIAL] on: October 21, 2016, 04:23:35 PM
It does actually work... but it's not perfect yet.

I've been using xCoins for nearly a month now and I've cashed out profit. It's a pretty good system - you can fully automate your "lending" (read: selling) with minimal effort for around 15% ROI on all BTC passed through the system.

Charge-backs are indeed an issue and can wipe out your profits. However, as mentioned above, xCoins have recently introduced a scheme where they automatically cover all losses due to charge-backs/fraud until you are back to at least 50% profit. This can be considered insurance, designed to cover any early stage lenders who are unlucky enough to hit get with a charge-back early on, prior to making much profit. xCoins say most people who have been using the system for a while are in profit anyway as the CB rate is relatively low.

Other risks include PayPal closing your account due to "high risk" activities. This risk is decreasing with time, I think, as PP now has relationships with Coinbase etc. now and seem to be softening their stance on BTC. Still, it's recommended to start lending in low volumes, and slowly increase it so as not to raise flags/alarms. Also, don't withdraw big sums from PP immediately - always leave enough $ in the PP account to cover possible CBs - this will goes some way to re-assuring PP.

I know that it is a top priority of xCoins to find another payment processor that is more BTC friendly and doesn't allow CBs (or at least provides decent seller protection), but in the meantime 15% ROI on all BTC that you sell via xCoins is likely worth the risks.

Finally... counter-party risk. As always, don't store lots coins on the exchange. Transfer a small amount of BTC and start lending. Replenish balance when empty.

TLDR:
xCoins seems legit, and there's potential for an easy profit - but start with small volumes, assess the risk/reward ratio, read the forums and decide for yourself.

Oh, and use the following promotion code when joining up for up to 25% discount off all commission fees: jbh184 Grin

Well this does provide more info but I d like to hear more reviews from people who have tested this service. Especially from people with higher trust and post count. Nothing against you personally but I have my doubts when reading stuff from people who re still relatively green in crypto. So, anyone else who s been using this? Images? Proof?
2044  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cheap OCR Captcha Solver on: October 21, 2016, 03:34:54 PM
For this to work, you d need a Faucet service or a to be more precise a bunch of faucets which can generate at least $2 per day. Even with a bot, I find this very hard to reach. The bot would have to click hundreds, if not thousands of faucets per day to reach this limit.
2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: October 21, 2016, 01:49:20 PM
The corner is quickly approaching.

This is what is important. Brian said good stuff is just around the corner a few months ago. This means we re very close and there no doubt testnet and M2 will take place this year. Again, this is how I interpret his words, I dont think there s any other interpretation.
2046  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solar panel powered mining ? on: October 21, 2016, 07:56:04 AM
Maybe this is already been asked here but my question is a specific one. I live in a well developed country which has more than 200 days of sun. I am thinking to buy an antminer S9 to try out mining bitcoin but without using electricity cause electricity is super expensive here. The antminer to operate well I have been reading guides and watching videos all over the internet needs a good 2200 WATT PSU.

What is the cost of a solar panel capable of fueling such power to the Antminer S9 ? I will not use that solar panel for anything else. I am asking this question mainly to European users as there is where I am also located.

Waiting impatiently for your answers.

First of all you should have to decide that how many miner machines you are planning to run, then calculate the total watts of each. Each solar plate has 250 or 300 watts produce.

I wanna run 1 or 2 S9 miners together with a friend but seeing that a solar panel produces such a low amount of watts is totally an unworthy investment. A solar panel I have asked here cost about 10.000 Euros. It costs this much because the company selling them it says you can never pay for energy during most of the year, you can power your boulier, your fridge and washing machine, and watch Tv.

I need a solar panel to produce 2200 Watts, or at least 1600 watts as that is the minimum PSU for antminer S9 from what I have seen in the internet.

So in the end it cannot be done I see ?

Having only 1 or 2 miners and installing solar simply is not worth your effort. Cause not only you need to ROI on the miner but also on these additional installations. With this ongoing and galloping BTC mining difficulty, that s not gonna work out and you will end up losing money. Classic mining rigs re much better option in case you do want to mine and want to go solar. However, again the issue s scalling. Without investing $10-$15k into this, it simply is not worth your time and money.

There re several other interesting ways to make money in crypto and I will gladly share some of my projects with you, for a fee. 7 days money back guarantee. Also, please note I am a legendary member here with a certain reputation, no BS on my side.

Whatever you decide, good luck in your endeavors.
2047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: October 21, 2016, 07:10:24 AM
Well, if you can buy 900 BTC of some high potential altcoin and the price goes up just over 10%, sure. If your question is whether you can invest 2 BTC into some alt and wait until its price appreciates 500x, well, good luck with that.
2048  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you could change one thing about btc, what would that be? on: October 21, 2016, 06:33:09 AM
I d change this anonymity issue. It attracts scammers, ponzi pumpers and similar scum. Also there s a lot of talk how BTC should replace old and archaic banking system. With this anonymity, it s never going to take place. How do you expect big investors or Wall Street accept this technology when you can hide and run away without any consequences.

Well, if you do reply to this ransom request, you know what s going to happen. They ll come back asking for more. Damn, I have also considered crypto to be a beautiful industry, really dislike seeing these issues.
2050  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Trade Crypto with us on: October 21, 2016, 06:26:03 AM
What kind of risk sharing and transparency do you provide? Are there any real data about people behind this operation? In other words, who guarantees to me you re not going to run away with my coins or misuse them?
2051  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where you invest? on: October 21, 2016, 06:23:53 AM
real gpu mining, some altcoin like ethereum or ethereum classic. of course at bitcoin too Smiley
because it's very profitable for me.

I was thinking of adding a rig or two, especially now when these new low power Nvidia cards will get out next week. What do you think about this option in case you have experience in mining?

Well, as long as trolls re around, this means DMD is in great shape. The desire to buy something low and buy high will make people do crazy stuff.
2053  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MINEX.IO (beta) - BLOCKCHAIN PROJECTS AGGREGATOR (THE GAME) on: October 20, 2016, 07:53:37 PM
As long as you do not share the risk with your clients, your service is completely useless. Why would I or anyone else use your service when I can buy cloud packs directly from cloud providers and not worry if you re going to run away either with my money or my cloud payments? Why would I take that risk?

If you find a way to share the risk with your clients, then you can become a real intermediary and charge a decent fee. Also, I think you ve got more chance of setting up a real fund using some other more profitable and secure investments then cloud mining.

I ve been in crypto for a long, long time and I do know there re legit and profitable options, as long as you invest time and efforts to find them.

Good luck.

Thx a lot.

2 pages of BS and not a single idea worth of implementing.

there are some good suggestions among them! like the ICO investment, if you can find a good one it is a good profit opportunity.

besides you are asking such a general question with no information about yourself. for example how much money do you want to invest, how much time you want to spend, what skills and what experience do you have, and more importantly how willing you are to put some effort in and something tells me you might be a bit lazy.

Establish a Bitcoin news websites says someone?Huh Hahaha, do you have any idea how much time and money needs for something like to work. One man news website? Or I hire 10 more freelancers to research and write.

well if you want to make money sometimes you have to invest money and sometimes you have to spend time and money to get to a point where you start making real money.
you think google became google overnight with the owner thinking i dont wanna hire 10 more people,....

Please, do not post just for posting. Concrete stuff, the same I ve said, DMD Diamond PoS coin. If you want to suggest something, suggest it.

Cheesy

Too long to argue piece by piece so I ll make it short. I m in crypto since 2012, I ve seen EVERYTHING THERE IS to be seen. I did CPU mining, GPU mining, ASIC minin, cloud mining, I did trading, margin, PoS, HDD mining, sig campaigns, casinos, masternodes etc, etc. Currently, I have portfolio of several successful and a few less successful investments and would to differentiate a bit more. Amount to be invested, 3 BTC, that s my limit per investment, due to risk differentiation. Hope this helps. If you do have something else to suggest, pls do, always like to test new stuff as long as it s not becoming the next Google.

Wow it worked for a whole hour that's achievement worked for an hour after 3 or 4 days of maintenance really great  Angry

1500 BTC bid side on Polo. It s been long time since we ve seen this.

Either somebody knows or expects something major to be published or our favorite whale has decided to make another turn or ping pong Factom scheme.
2058  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: October 20, 2016, 04:37:45 PM
Site working now but there is no fund in hot wallets plz fund it so we can withdraw
I suspect as soon as the site was up everybody who was waiting to withdraw took their money out. DDoS attacks freak people out who have money invested in the site. I'm sure the hot wallet will be full again soon. Good that they are using cold storage - not all sites do...

Yes, good stuff, the website s back and operational. I m sure hot wallet would be filled up again so dont panic and withdraw your funds over the next few days if need to. However, the fact the team behind Satosidice managed to resolve this adds to their credibility and I ll keep my funds there for now.

Thx.
