What happened to LA is more of a mental lapse IMO. Although I understand the conspiracy theory, I don't think they would do it in a semi-finals and I doubt they would instruct the players to drop the game on a nationally televised game. If ever there was a plan to extend the series, it's easier (less obvious) to get the referees do the job.
Agree. After all, LA is only human, can commit mistakes like that and it can happen to anybody in this kind of sport, it even happens in the NBA. Thinking that it was a fixed game is just disrespect to coach Yeng and the NLEX team who worked very hard not to be swept in the series so for me that was just another game where NLEX was lucky to survive the onslaught and live to fight for the title. Next game would be too hard for them though so I'm going for the Kings this time around even if it is a 5 points handicap. |

Is the lawsuit against Casimero on the alleged rape is still not solved? I cannot see any updates about it on the internet, so hopefully they already solved it.
I agree, the incident was just a coincidence and it has nothing to do with his upcoming fight or his previous promoter. Also, Casimero shouldn't worry about that for now nor let that issue distract him in his preparation against Paul Butler. Anyways, if he is really innocent then there's nothing to worry about.
I have not read an update about that lawsuit on Casimero but I think that is taken care of because they have not spoken a word about that case on their vlogs. But I have also seen a youtube video of a content creator where he said that there is a tweet by Team Butler on March 5 asking MP promotions on who really is their opponent. This might have something to do with the case of Casimero and they don't want to prepare for a fight with Casimero in mind but in the end, fighting a different opponent would be disastrous for their preparation. |

What about Magnolia's -4.5 handicap at 1.83? or ML @ 1.51 value bet or also wait during the live game and see if there's more good odds to offer.
I would rather take the ML at 1.51 than the spread of -4.5 because that is too risky. That 1.51 could be boosted, so it will increase a bit and I think that's good enough especially if you'll be putting a decent amount on this particular game. This Magnolia vs Meralco series is an exciting one because of the firepower that both teams had in their roster and their respective imports are the frontrunner for the best import award. Ginebra are more convincing now after winning the second game and the next game will be crucial without Japeth, NLEX might still win the rest of the game so better for Ginebra not to be complacent and stay focused. NLEX lose their import and right after that, they started to struggle and the result is very costly for them. I still want to see NLEX fighting for their chance, hoping that game 3 will be more interesting and let’s see if they can finally beat Ginebra.
Even though the Kings were without Japeth but still it was an easy win for them because NLEX doesn't have the local players that were capable of competing against the locals of Ginebra IMO. I'll give NLEX one win max if this will not be a sweep. ^^ Valdez though is known to have a crazy left hook as well, this is his main weapon now, he used it against Berchelt in their fight to knock him out. That's why this fight is going to be very interesting as both could land solid punch against each other and we will see who's chin and body are going to hold in the end. But so far Stevenson remains to be the favorite to win this fight base on the odds but this can't be for certain as Valdez is also been tested many times and won the fight.
Between the two, Valdez is far superior in terms of experience IMO but what separates Shakur from the past opponents of Valdez is his agility and his defensive skill, which may be the reason why online bookies have put him the favorite to get the W in this fight. Shakur's chin has not been tested thus far and I'm pretty sure that Valdez's power punch could break this so this is what makes this fight interesting as the underdog has a very good chance of winning. |

That's likely going to happen if Casimero won't show up again, this is his last chance so he should really work more hard now because he was given a chance instead of getting stripped after that incident in Dubai last year but I think that wouldn't going to happen this time as his camp is really focusing on his health now.
After that Dubai incident, Probellum has announced it clearly that this April fight for Casimero is his last chance and if that incident will happen again then he would be strip of the belt and they will look for a replacement boxer so I think they are now scouting or we could say that a "plan B" is in place. Probellum was caught off guard on that Dubai incident so I think they learned their lessons well and hard lol. |

Exactly, it's good exposure for Converge because they are really competing very well now. The telcos we know are the smart, pldt, and globe only, some of us doesn't know that there's converge which is also a big company. Instead of paying for advertisement, buying a team may give them more benefit in the long run.
I, for one, don't know that Converge is an internet service provider lol, so I think this is good exposure for them and good for us internet consumers, as well as there, are more options to us on what we will subscribe to. So tonight will be the start of the semis game and interesting enough for the bookies to give such a narrow spread/handicap so I will go for the favorite on the first game.
